Any and all constructive feed back welcomed ^_^", "writing": "Chapter 1 - Guidance of Cosend\n\n\tIn Cosend there is a small town of Padink that houses the continents only school for magi. This school has for the last 20 years has been home to only female students. You see 21 years ago there was a magical scourge that swept the land causing large scale problems. This scourge created beings of hate and lust and fueled its own power by then creating new life. These beings where known to capture women, and while many had tried to save them, these women were never heard from again. Eventually a plan was put into motion to end this vicious circle of hate. The current head of the college of magic, as well as the council of elders, sent forth for 4 individuals that they saw as prime citizens. Two young males just entering their teen age years, and Two men of roughly 18 to 20. \n\n\tThe original idea was to seal them in a time lock to protect them from the corruption so that there would at least be some one who could rebuild the population of Cosend. Two women were also chosen to take part in the time lock. With everything set in place and the time lock candidates gathered. Time was running out as the scourge was spreading at a faster rate, women were beginning to disappear at faster and faster rates. The first to be Time Locked with a time limit of 5 years was Zon Afilito, a young magus who was the current pupil to the head mage. The next was Torilic Reli, a young male blacksmith. After Zon all the rest were set to be unlocked only by command phrase that was given to Zon and the Council.\n\n\tThe next person to be time locked was Glen Jule, a young mage who had a prowess for magic and by all accounts a future scholar. The next to be time locked was Garry Wilden, a young male alchemist. The last male was Natalin Hope, chosen purely at random, the young male was gifted in the art of wood craft. The other female chosen for time lock was Julia Gorden, she was chosen as she was with child.\n\n\tTime locks in place head mage Donavin Drake set up to start casting the Ritual, the purge. Channeling all the magical energy that he and the other men of the council could handle. Pouring all the energy into Donavin, the plan was to cast a spell that would wipe out all the corrupted males. Creating a seal that would not break arround the continent for 30 year, Donavin halted the spell at the border but also stopped any traffic from entering Cosend as well as leaving. Giving his life as well as the lives of the rest of the council, he did in fact wipe out all the corrupted male creatures. But as all good things do, the spell had a side effect of also wiping out all Cosend's men. Corrupt or not the spell did not care. \n\n\tFive years later Zon Afilito's time lock broke and she was welcomed by the new council, being informed that magic was not even close to what she was used to. Lady Zon went about learning all that she could about magic, going so far as to understand how the scourge came to be. Welcomed as a hero by what was left of Cosend Lady Zon was chosen to be the new head mage and lead the college of ``magic''. \n\nWith the large loss of life on the continent and no way to create new life. The college studied what they could do to help magic come back to the land. It took nearly 15 years for magic to get back to a stable system, but with the forest flourishing and the farms, magic slowly came back.\n\n20 years after the purge, the council had a meeting with Lady Zon about the time locks. Under her direction the first of the locks are broken. The first to be broken was Torilic, and as his seal was broken by command. At first all appeared to have worked as Torilic got up and initially looked around trying to get his bearings. But then a darker presence filled him.\n\nLashing out at Lady Zon with all the force he could muster, being weakened from the time lock it was not much. The rest of the council captured him and held him in place while Lady Zon looked over him. With one word she dispatched his life. ``His eyes were purple....'' Her voice trailed almost in fear that maybe her choice was wrong. \n\nThe next time lock to be broken was Glen, freaking out as his brain tried to ration what had just happened. He ran toward one of the magi and at first was held with magic. But after seeing his eyes and his tears Lady Zon declared him clean. ``His eyes, they are normal. You know the virus can't hide once it manifests.'' With that glen ran to one of the Magi and hid behind them as Lady Zon moved to the next time lock.\n\nGlen watched in awe as Zon, moved with haste to break the next time lock the girl with child, Julia. A look of horror swept over Lady Zon. ``She did not survive the seal.'' Zon with a pained expression moved to another seal. Garry, a neighbor to Glen, with his seal broken he stood up and smiled at Glen. As Lady Zon looked him over, her face grew colder and colder. \n\n``Your eyes.... are you still conscious?'' Lady Zon asked as she moved a bit back from Garry. He nodded but did not speak. Holding his hands in fists he opened his mouth but no words came out. He started to cry. ``I am sorry...'' Lady Zon said before she ended his life. Her face that of a war veteran, she turned toward Glen. ``He may be the same...'' Lady Zon spoke coldly and harshly.\n\n``We will not break the last seal till we know if he is the cause of this!'' One of the council said stepping back from Glen. All the other members of the Council stepped away from Glen. Lady Zon walked up to Glen. Stooping down to look him in the eyes. ``If we let him live in Padink I can keep an eye on him,'' Lady Zon spoke but her words seemed emotionless or distant. The council objected but were put aback by one statement. ``Fence'' Lady Zon only had to mention it, it was something that had protected Padink from the scourge. A strong magical spell that would contain all magic with in it. A specialty of her now passed Mentor.\n\nWith that Glen was lead in magical bindings out from the time lock room, he did not see Lady Zon follow, all he heard was an explosion. The council members did not even react, they maintained a strong distance between them and Glen. He was eventually lead to a House that was surrounded by a blue bubble where he was shoved through it. He could not hear what was said but something made the bubble grow stronger as he passed through it. \n\nInside the bubble he was alone but at least he had flowers, they made him smile. He walked into the house and found a magically stocked shelf as well as a magical well of water. He would have what he needed to survive, and he could see the sky.
