  "description": "Everybody makes their own version of Maria as a hedgehog eventually right? I actually made mine a long time ago but just recently decided to revisit the design. As for her purpose? A century after Maria’s death I’m sure G.U.N. would eventually re-visit achieving immortality. After all it would be a very easy way to win any wars with troops that couldn’t be killed and stayed in fighting shape for life. But they’d probably need a lab rat to see if they could even achieve another ultimate weapon even with the remnants of Gerald’s research. \n\nTo keep it secret from the public? They’d probably scour the ark for DNA to use in the project and since Maria roamed the ark most often than even the staff it’s probably hers they’d pick up. But then comes the problem of her immunity disease. To counter that? They’d use another DNA sample from an old operative and splice the genes together to hopefully make a healthy hybrid. Which they would. What to do with her after they create her? Not only use her as an operative but use her as a countermeasure. Just in case project Shadow gets too big for his britches. I imagine that, even though this would break her heart, she would probably agree to it. With her zest for life and humanity I can see her wanting to protect it at all costs. ",
