*This is where the Sonic Adventure/Rush story mode come into play.  Both sides WILL be different.  Trying to combine the two result in a confrontation so big it'll jumble the upcoming chapters.  If any questions arise about any mistakes, or issues with the characters involved, please read the Preface on Chapter 1.*

Chapter 8 - The Aquatic Vision Zone Act 1

     Klonoa was on the verge to rescue his friends old and new.  Even it it means venturing through the uncharted area that he's never seen before.  The pathway is similar yet different than all of the other areas that he has been in the past.  As he pressed on, he has realized one thing as encounters the odd mechanical bees, crabs, and monkeys along the way.  ~Looks like each of them are always shooting or lobbing something at me.  So they're just like Moos.  Only more challenging...huh?~  He train of thought was sidetracked by a swarm of what looked to be robot flies.  Fortunately there was one more bee bot that just fired one of it's beams at the dream traveler.  As he shot his wind bullet to catch the projectiled shot, Klonoa instantly lobbed it over toward the swarm blasting through all of the blue and red-eyed buggy flies in one shot.  ~...hehe, only by a little bit.~  

     The long eared cat chuckled as he sees another yellow spring like the one that caught him off guard.  He used that to launch himself into the air and match the level of the remaining bee bot.  But unlike the Moos, the moment that the wind bullet gets into the robot, the wind will cause the robot to explode from the inside out.  As the hero lands to see the free woodland creatures run off, Klonoa felt more at ease knowing that even though his world is changing, he is still able to help even the most smallest of creatures.  Through the simple platforms and springs throughout the mysterious pathway, the wind warrior came across a steep hill that goes into a deep lake.  ~Oh no...I can't get through.~  In fear of the fact that he can't swim, Klonoa inched his way back away from the edge until something poked him in the back. ~*YEOW!*~  He quickly turned around to see a red mini tank-like robot with drill arms as they start to spin and head towards the feline.  Klonoa didn't have much time to change his ring into another weapon as he tries to use his trusty wind bullet only to have it deflected by the rotating drills.  Suddenly Klonoa lost his footing off the edge and fell straight into the lake below. 

     He began to sink into the depths of the water knowing that very soon he will eventually drown.  Finally hitting the bottom, he slowly opens his eyes to find a robotic shark heading torards him.  Without thinking of anything else, he quickly shot his bullet again causing the shark to explode from the inside out.  ~Whew....AACCKK!!!~  As is sees the bubbles floating from him, he quickly covered his mouth finally realizing that he is underwater.  All that Klonoa can do as slowly move forward in his final attempt to save his friends before he runs out of air until he spotted something from the ground ahead of him.  When he reached the area with only moments to spare, he noticed a few bubbles beginning to rise from the ground.  //~Maybe...~//  

     Klonoa turned his ring into his spiked hammer and focused the surrounding water to form a blue ball on one of the sides.  Slamming the ball into the ground, more of the bubbles began to fly upward getting bigger and bigger to the point where Klonoa can actually get a hold of one as big as he is.  He pressed the air bubble into his face and gasps for air.  Successful, the wind warrior has the motive to continue on in search of land.  Among his attempt however, he finds himself at the same predicament only to find that there were no more air pockets on the ground.  Franticly he searched until he stepped on something red beneath him.  Before he knew it, he was launched upward and shot out of the water with extreme speed unlike anything else he ran into.  As the wind warrior tries to see exactly what was going on, all he can see is another red surface closing in on him.  *MAAANNN-NNYAAAA!!!* Klonoa shouted as he was suddenly bounced downward to another red surface to the next one to the next one.  After being bounced around like a pinball Klonoa finally hit land as he rolls around the tall grass tumbling to a complete stop.  Klonoa has a dazed look on his face as he swings his head around and around saying ~I....Aye think I'm back at Joliant....~ and falls back onto the grass passed out.

     Few moments has passed as the once dizzily dream traveler has start to wake up when suddenly he hears a faint female voice.  It was unclear exactly who's it was as he sees a glittery golden sphere hovering in front of him.  ~ooohhh...wha?~ he replied as the voice finishes "...please wake up."  ~Huh? Who are you?~ as he fully comes to.  "I am a guardian of the seven chaos" the voice answered.  Baffeled enough as it is with everything that's happened so far Klonoa tried his best to follow.  ~What's going on in this world?~  The female spirit replies "I'm afraid my time may be short.  Our world is slowly changing and I'm afraid you may be the only one who can stop it."  The confused cat points to himself and asks ~Me?  But this isn't even...~  "Yes.  I am aware of your situation.  Your world of Lunatea as well as...uuuhhhh...." The words the guardian spoke startled the young warrior but alerted him even more as the sphere starts to drop slowly.  

     Klonoa dived forward and caught the spirit in his hand.  ~Lunatea...how do you know about it?~  "I...am sorry...I'm holding them off as long as I can...before they use it's full potential."  Suddenly Klonoa's ring began to lift from his other hand closing in towards the spiirt.  "This jewel is unlike any emerald I've seen.  With little power I have, I will grant you the ability to alter the present time."  ~Huh? Alter time? What do you mean?~  "Use this power...of Chaos Control...and save...Mobius."  Before Klonoa knew it the sphere entered the jewel followed by a blinding flash of light.  He stood back up on his feet and gazed at his ring and wondered. //~What that also a dream?~// Little did he realize that there were a group of the metallic robots in a line formation ready to fire.  The charging of their guns woke the long eared hero from thinking.  He remembered the words from the spirit and without hesitation, he aimed his ring at the and shouted ~CHAOS CONTROL!~  

     The moment he fired his wind bullet, it suddenly became a blue sphere with golden wings hovering around him.  But as he looked forward he quickly dropped to the ground at the oncoming lasers that remained perfectly still.  Looking back up at the still lasers he noticed that everything around him was at a complete stand still.  He changed his ring into his sword and charged towards the robots.  But as he ran he can see the flying blue orb starting to fade.  The action looks as if it were one swift pass through the robots.  And before the robots had time to register the location of their enemy behind them, all of their robotic structures were already sliced in half and exploded all at once.  ~Incredible.  This can actually help out.~  Looking outward, vaguely beyond the pillars and waterway paths, he can see lights and lines of smoke raising upward at the orange sunset sky.  Looking at his ring as says ~Don't worry.  I will save our worlds.  Lunatea's...~ as he readies himself for the journey ahead ~...and Mobius.~ Klonoa then continues towards the path to find his friends and the remaining answers that he seek.
