*This is where the Sonic Adventure/Rush story mode come into play.  Both sides WILL be different.  Trying to combine the two result in a confrintation so big it'll jumble the upcoming chapters.  If any questions arise about any mistakes, or issues with the characters involved, please read the Preface on Chapter 1.*

Chapter 5 -  The Whirlwind Rival

	The mobian stood still and kept a sharp eye on the long-eared person that interrupted what could have been the end of an annoying conflict.  He knew fully well that it was yet another friend of theirs, but the bullet he fired had a much more powerful effect than Leorina's.  All that he can do now is focus and prepare for the unexpected.  //Well, they seem overjoyed that he showed up.  Which means that he might be a tougher challenge yet.//  Frost thought to himself.  //Let's see what kind of crybaby story they have for him// as he tries to listen closely to their soon to be conversation.  

The red jacket hero stood firmly looking at the persecutor that attacked his friends.  ~Are you guys okay?~ the long-eared friend said.  ~Cutting that a little close there.  But otherwise, we're fine.~  Leorina answered breaking free of the others piled on her.  The wind warrior walked to Lolo and Popka helping them up and asked ~Sorry I didn't show up sooner. What's going on?~  Tat answered ~Well after nearly takin my arm off, Popka and I saw that maniac over there killing one of the dolls from Mommet.~  

The savior gave a look of shock when he heard that one of the many dolls he freed had been killed in cold blood. ~Are...are you sure?~ he then asked.  Lolo slowly answered ~It's true. He...he nearly...~ Suddenly she began to cry after having to be engulfed inside the killer's machine.  Frostcat continues to vaguely listen in on the conversation.  He rolled his eyes the moment the he can hear the faint sniffles. //Great! And here come the waterworks.  As much as I want to play a frozen violin, I don't want the guy to get ticked off then he already is.//  The icy feline then gave a smirk to see what more excuses they can give to him.  Unfortunately for him, Leorina gave a bold stare the second he started to smile. 

	~He's expecting us.~ the sky pirate interrupted.  The long-eared person quickly turned and said ~What?~  ~He wants us to retaliate after giving you the information.  There's something about this guy.  I don't know what, but we have to be care...~ "~HEY!"~ Frostcat abruptly shouted.  "~When you're done giving him the sob story let me know when you're ready to continue.  I got dolls to save you know. And I'm not talking about your two rejects over there!~"  //That should rattle their cages even more.//  Lolo quickly shuts her eyes from the insults Frost has given.  

~You mean dolls to kill!" the once calm sky pirate shouted.  The blue flamed cat smiled some more and did his mentor's classic arms crossover and started tapping his right foot waiting for their next move.  ~You're the one working for whoever's responsible for all of this.  And now you'll....huh?~ Leorina continued until she was suddenly stopped by the red jacket hero by holding his hand in front of her.  

Unmoved by the feline's taunts, he calmly spoke ~Leorina, I'll take care of him.  You guys just stand back.~  ~Ya goin' by yourself?~ Popka asked. ~Don't be an idiot. You're gonna need all da help you can get.~  Worried, Lolo then whispered ~...Klon- ~Lolo.~ The monkey girl gasped and looked at the wind warrior.  He then smiled and said ~I'll be alright.  Besides...~ he continues as he looks directly at the persecutor ~...I want to find out for myself.~

	Frostcat suddenly noticed their hero smile for just a second as they look eye to eye.  The long eared savior then looked a bit serious as he starts to walk towards him.  //Damn...// He thought as he grins //I thought that ticking all of them off would give me the edge to beat them.  But he played it cool.  This should be interesting than I thought.// The feline became serious as soon as their hero came a good distance between his friends and himself.  

~So...is it true?~  The wind warrior asks.  "~Saving the dolls? Yes.~" The ice warrior answered.  ~What about killing that one?~  Frost can only stare and looked serious for so long.  He then shifted his head a little to the side a slowly began to close his eyes and answered "~That...was an accident.~" The hero's eyes widened a little bit knowing that he told him the truth as he completely closed his eyes.  

~Then...I have to stop you.~ he replied.  Frost quickly opened his eyes and glared at him saying "~You can't be serious.~"  The wind warrior became serious and replied "You killed an innocent life and you are about to kill my friends.  How could I not be?~  With the pressure on him Frost suddenly snapped "~You nimrod! I was going to freeze them so they can get off my back for good!" Before he realized what he mistakenly said, Popka shouted "AND THERE YOU HAVE IT! STRAIGHT FROM THE KILLER'S MOUTH!"  

The cat gritted his teeth and uttered "~Damn it! He just won't shut up.~" as he pulled out his emblem that instantly formed into his sweeper poised and ready to fight.  The savior took a good look and realized what a poor situation the blue flamed feline was in.  ~I'm terribly sorry...~ As he grips his golden ring with a green gem embedded into it ~...but it has to be done."  Frostcat then closed his eyes and knows what he has to do.  Defend for his life.  He suddenly gave his smirk as he opened his true blue eyes and said "~Alright then.  Let's see what this hero can do!"
