A big thing that Dimalad and I focused on for this piece was trying to give each pony a slightly different experience/reaction. Each pony's shit is a slightly different consistency or makeup that's meant to play into the experience they're having and to play to their personality.

Being able to talk through that process and zero in these kinds of details was a really enjoyable part of this commission and I'm really grateful to Dimalad not only for commissioning the piece but also for so enthusiastically jumping into discussions and streams about how to portray these kinds of little details like Rainbow covering her face or Angel being bored.
