I experimented a bit more with trying to mix a painterly style with traditional pencil work, and I think the result ended up being really good :3 *proud fox noises*\n\nI almost wish that I had picked a different picture to try it with though X3 since I know that hard vore and blood isn't what everypony likes...\n\nI do have some endo pieces lines up that I'm working on <3\n\n❤❤❤\n\nMy relationship with fatal and cruel vore is complicated. I like cruel vore and I think it's really hot. But I'm also autistic, and I have a hard time turning off empathy for fictional characters. It's very, very easy for even relatively unoffensive media to get under my skin in a way that feels almost impossible to explain anypony who doesn't already know what I'm talking about. And because of that I have to be way more careful about what I read and watch than most other fluffers that I know, because it can affect me or depress me in ways that are difficult to predict.\n\nAnd fatal vore super duper falls into that category of fiction that can just BREAK me X3\n\nThere are a few vore artists who I avoid reading or even looking at their work because even just thinking about their stuff makes me angry and depressed and frustrated. Not angry at them, I don't think they're doing anything wrong, just angry at... it's impossible to put into words. ;w;\n\nKnowing that, it's weird to me that I do still like fatal and cruel vore. >w<\n\nBut not all fatal and cruel vore is the same? It's hard for me to explain the difference, but I think one thing I like about cruel vore is the sense of catharsis of having something that is cruel that is upfront about being cruel. It doesn't do terrible things to characters and then pretend that there's a happy ending. It doesn't try to humanize the predator or pretend that there's a moral component to this, or make excuses about why the predator shouldn't be judged. The predator is a monster, at best it's an uncaring third-party. It doesn't try to pretend there is a \"proper\" or \"moral\" way to kill somepony. So it feels very straightforward and honest: here's something horrible happening to a character for no good reason. And that feels kind of cathartic.\n\nIt's pawbably more complicated than that though? There are other aspects too, I really like ❤cutesy❤ cruel vore where predators play with their food and tease their prey about how they're going to turn them into adorable little piles of shit and giggle while they struggle. X3\n\nAnd (with some exceptions) I ❤adore❤ couple vore where two preds pair up and pass prey between them or fuck while their prey is still alive inside.\n\nSo it's not a perfect explanation, but it's helpful for me to try and have indicators to help me predict whether a fatal vore piece is going to make me depressed for three days and get nothing done, or whether it's going to make me say O///O that's fuckin hot. X3\n\nSorry for rambling ;w;\n\n❤❤❤\n\nThere are a few things I like about the posing here. I like that pony is being dragged closer to the wolf/beast and has that little blood trail. I like the blood kind of pooling around the claws and how casual the pred is about it.\n\nI really like the pred lifting up the prey's head so they can watch themselves get eaten O///O Don't want them to miss out on the show after all X3\n\nI also like the pony's hoof kind of resting on the wolf/beast's head? In some previous pieces I've talked about how the beasts in this forest will play with and violate their food, and the idea I have is that by the time this wolf is deciding to finish off his dinner, the pony is already kind of used to him? The prey is in pain and shock, but they're not embarrassed about touching the predator. At this point the pony's spent so much time pressed up against that wolfie's skin that there's almost no aversion left around touching or leaning against him >3\n\nOn the actual art side of things I'm also really happy with the tail wag. There's a (non-vore) artist I've been following that goes by lawyerdog on Itaku. He draws in a very different style, but he does a lot of motion in his drawings and I've been blown away by how well he pulls off motion in color <3 He kind of single-handedly made me interested in thinking about how to tackle motion again.\n\nSo while trying to keep the same colored pencil/watercolor style as the rest of the drawing, I wanted to take some inspiration from how he thinks about shapes for tail wags and fast movements. I don't think the result is as good as his work, but I'm still really happy with how it came out :3 ",

And because of that I have to be way more careful about what I read and watch than most other fluffers that I know, because it can affect me or depress me in ways that are difficult to predict.
And fatal vore super duper falls into that category of fiction that can just BREAK me X3
There are a few vore artists who I avoid reading or even looking at their work because even just thinking about their stuff makes me angry and depressed and frustrated. Not angry at them, I don't think they're doing anything wrong, just angry at... it's impossible to put into words. ;w;
Knowing that, it's weird to me that I do still like fatal and cruel vore. >w<
But not all fatal and cruel vore is the same? It's hard for me to explain the difference, but I think one thing I like about cruel vore is the sense of catharsis of having something that is cruel that is upfront about being cruel. It doesn't do terrible things to characters and then pretend that there's a happy ending. It doesn't try to humanize the predator or pretend that there's a moral component to this, or make excuses about why the predator shouldn't be judged. The predator is a monster, at best it's an uncaring third-party. It doesn't try to pretend there is a "proper" or "moral" way to kill somepony. So it feels very straightforward and honest: here's something horrible happening to a character for no good reason. And that feels kind of cathartic.
It's pawbably more complicated than that though? There are other aspects too, I really like ❤cutesy❤ cruel vore where predators play with their food and tease their prey about how they're going to turn them into adorable little piles of shit and giggle while they struggle. X3
And (with some exceptions) I ❤adore❤ couple vore where two preds pair up and pass prey between them or fuck while their prey is still alive inside.
So it's not a perfect explanation, but it's helpful for me to try and have indicators to help me predict whether a fatal vore piece is going to make me depressed for three days and get nothing done, or whether it's going to make me say O///O that's fuckin hot. X3

There are a few things I like about the posing here. I like that pony is being dragged closer to the wolf/beast and has that little blood trail. I like the blood kind of pooling around the claws and how casual the pred is about it.
I really like the pred lifting up the prey's head so they can watch themselves get eaten O///O Don't want them to miss out on the show after all X3
I also like the pony's hoof kind of resting on the wolf/beast's head? In some previous pieces I've talked about how the beasts in this forest will play with and violate their food, and the idea I have is that by the time this wolf is deciding to finish off his dinner, the pony is already kind of used to him? The prey is in pain and shock, but they're not embarrassed about touching the predator. At this point the pony's spent so much time pressed up against that wolfie's skin that there's almost no aversion left around touching or leaning against him >3
On the actual art side of things I'm also really happy with the tail wag. There's a (non-vore) artist I've been following that goes by lawyerdog on Itaku. He draws in a very different style, but he does a lot of motion in his drawings and I've been blown away by how well he pulls off motion in color <3 He kind of single-handedly made me interested in thinking about how to tackle motion again.
So while trying to keep the same colored pencil/watercolor style as the rest of the drawing, I wanted to take some inspiration from how he thinks about shapes for tail wags and fast movements. I don't think the result is as good as his work, but I'm still really happy with how it came out :3 ",
