Hey! Have you ever wanted to be tricked into a dragon's stomach and then graphically digested while you beg for mercy, before eventually being shit out as a pile of wyvern dung and bleached bones and scraps of clothes?
I've been working on a large commission with
\n\t\t\t\t\tflythewind of his OC dragon tricking some silly anthros into a one way bus trip! >w< It's 9 pages long and we're hoping to polish most of the lines and add color to at least some of the panels. But as you might expect, a piece this large will get expensive fast (we're currently 10 hours in and have a long way to go). So we came up with an idea - since this is a comic I think a lot of critters will be interested in, and it has a lot of opportunity for teasing a lot of different prey, we want to open it up so critters in the community can help with paying for some of the polish, while getting early access to WIPs and getting a character included!Here's how it works:
★ This will still ultimately be FlyTheWind's commission. Prey that donate money won't be able to change the script or layout of the comic. It's not a joint commission, it's just a way to help get more polish and coloring into the piece if that's something that you'd like to see.★ Anypony contributing $20 (1/2 hour) or more will be able to get early access to the WIP commission delivery page. Right now that includes full resolution drafts of all of the pages as well as partial line work on some of them.
★ Anypony contributing $60 (90 minutes) or more will be able to get one of the non-main passengers at the start or end of the comic replaced with one of their characters.
★ If you contribute $100 (2.5 hours) or more, you can replace one of the "main" prey (either Tim or the currently unnamed cat on panels 3-6) .
★ Prey must be anthro, roughly the same size as the other prey, and be willing to be unwilling.
These will be simpified versions of refs for most panels - I want to match the art style with the rest of the comic, so I'll make sure refs are recognizable and labeled, but it won't necessarily be the most detailed picture of your OC (although the graphic digestion sequence does have some more detailed shots in it :3)

This is a bit of an experiment. I've wanted for a while to allow community members who are invested in larger comics being commissioned to potentially help contribute to them and bring down some of the cost for commissioners - there are multiple rough comics I've done where critters have asked about followups or polished versions, and sometimes the answer is "well, it's up to whether the commissioner wants to pay for it."
I like the community aspect of furry art, I love how commissions allow critters to explore scenarios and stories that everypony gets to enjoy. So I want to start experimenting in this direction more and seeing what does and doesn't work <3
