Bear with me for a minute: I want you to think about what it would be like to be swallowed like this - imagine that you're a mouse inside this jar who's just been caught. >w<
Are you imagining it? You're a cute little pudgy mouse with an adorable twitchy nose and bright, curious eyes? Good! :3c
You make a wonderful mouse X3
So right now you're pawbably thinking about how the tongue wraps around you and you're slurped up. But really that's the only the first step, it's after you're pulled into the mouth that things get really interesting~
To start with, you're getting swallowed upwards, you're not going with gravity. So instead of just slipping down a throat, you'd have to be held and gripped by the tongue and walls and lifted deeper into that warm dark abyss~
Squirming to get away, sometimes slipping back down a few centimeters or even a few inches when the fox relaxes their grip on you, only to be caught, suspended again above the light and then pulled up again, slow progress being made by quick, small, irregular gulps. You're getting sucked in, your toes wriggling and your body squirming the whole time. You're desperately hoping that the fox will drop you, but you keep getting further and further from the outside world until you eventually reach the top of the fox's shoulders and then...

But what I really want to draw your attention to is that with their face all bunched up inside of the neck of the bottle, the fox can't fully open their jaws! They're restrained by the glass around them <3
And that means no big roomy gulp for you! This whole trip is going to be awkward and *tight~*! You're like a cave diver sqeeeeezing through a narrow crack in a wall. X3
The fox is struggling to get you into the throat, struggling to get your head into the tunnel, saliva is dripping down around you as your pred gags and sputters a little, their mouth and tongue wrestling with a squirmy meal until it finally gets you positioned right and the tongue lifts you up as the muscles clamp down around your face and suck you up. But even now, the throat can't bulge outward to accommodate you as you slide in.~ The walls cling to you like you're a sausage being squeezed into its skin.

Of course by now your pred would be breathing heavily: panting, drooling from your taste. Your tail is tickling their tongue as it flails around, making them drool even more. With each exhale the throat expands out just enough for you to try and squirm a little back out, but there's just so little room, and the only reason why you can see any light at all, the only reason why the pred hasn't clamped their jaws shut is because they're too busy salivating huffing and puffing in pleasure and in anticipation of how good you'll feel once you're safely tucked away~
At the start of things the pred has to flex their throat to hold you in place and suck you upwards. But as you get deeper the walls become so tight that your pred has to struggle not to pin you in place. Fox breath is in your face and wet saliva is soaking into your fur. The more that the fox struggles, the heavier they breathe - and you become more and more acquainted with the scent of their insides.
Soon going down feels just as difficult as going up, and you worry that your squirming is only helping the fox gulp and gluck you deeper and deeper. It's harder for you to move now. The only motion is when the fox relaxes and then pitches you upwards with a wet swallow - a few more centimeters at a time, one swallow after another. :3 Then your pred pauses, and fills your lungs with stale stomach air with a soft *urp* and then it's back to swallowing again..
And then you become fully wedged.
Even with the extra lubrication from the saliva, the fox strains but can't pull you any higher. You feel every little twitch, each movement as they try to get you past the neck of the bottle, but you're not making much progress... until they take a breath and roll their throat muscles uniformly upwards like a rolling pin, and you're finally forced to sliide into the most narrow section of their throat yet. You squeak in protest at the pressure, and the exhaled air from your own lungs finally gives you the extra millimeters of clearance to get gulped past the neck of the bottle - and then you *POP!* out and with one last quick gulp you're suddenly you're at the apex of the climb, and the fox lets out a sigh of relief as you slip so easily, effortlessly down into their stomach pouch~
What was agonizingly slow is suddenly over in about a second. Before you even know what's happening you're-
Well, let's give that mousy some privacy for a while~ UwU

Okay, now here's the actual point I'm getting at~
Now I want you to imagine that you're a different mousie in the jar, and that you just watched all of that happen from the outside over the course of about nearly a full minute. You watched your friend disappear, watched the fox grumble and gag and cough a little and make funny expressions while they tried to swallow, and you watched them pant and huff and strain and then all of the sudden finally *SIGH* in relief and pleasure when their meal finally slipped free, and you could imagine every second of what your friend was experiencing~
And now you watch the fox pant a little: tongue lolling, an expression of satisfaction and even a little bit of pride at having managed to get that one down.
And then you see the eyes focus on you. That giant wet tongue swings around and slides across the jar floor and slips over you, and swishes back and forth as you try desperately to get away, and then it finally corners you and wraps around you and in that instant you meet the fox's eager, happy eyes as you're lifted up and you feel the full weight of how joyful the fox is about eating you. <3
And all you can think about is how the teeth scraped lightly over your friend's fur as they were pulled into the mouth. You think about how the fox struggled for so long as your friend thrashed visibly inside of the predator's mouth, and then the moment where the tongue pressed bac. And then you couldn't see your friend anymore.
And then you think about the pauses and huffs and drooling and determined look while the fox gagged and gulped, forcing the the wriggling, squeaking lump in its throat into its new forever home, loving every second of the challenge~
And you see the jaws separate just a few inches, just enough to squeeze you in.
And you feel the teeth begin to scrape against your skin.
And you catch your first wiff of fox breath surrounding you, tinted slightly with the familiar scent of the predator's last meal..
..and you already know exactly what is about to happen to you~
