But the core theme is still there: Vicky's teasing is focused on prey feeling good, having them lose control of a situation in a controlled way, putting them into a position where they can be prey without being scared and where they can play with the pred/prey dynamics [i]with [/i]Vicky and where they can even tease her back a little.\n\nAside from Mal, I also think of Vicky as being a (non-antagonistic) counterpart to Sam. Sam is specifically trying to form non-predator relationships with their prey. They don't have as much of a hunting drive as other foxes, they're good at communicating with prey, they're responsible and calm around them.
