The golden sun was setting as Blue Streak ran from creatures he had never seen before. They were variant in sizes, and some were more fur than others. The bipeds were catching up to the pegasus as they stretched out their upper limbs to catch him. Blue would have flown away, but the creatures had hurt one of his wings earlier to keep him from flying away. He had discovered that while they were capable of speech, they believed in using brute strength to dominate others, and they each wanted to dominate him to teach him he was under them. As Blue ran for his life, he tripped over a stone and tumbled to the ground. The strange creatures surrounded him as he covered his eyes. He knew they were going to hurt him without mercy, but then, as the night approached, something fell from the sky. It was big and covered with green, smooth scales from head to toe. The creatures saw it and wanted to take the creature home as a prize as well. Blue opened his eyes after uncovering them when he realized he was not attacked and saw the creatures move towards the new creature while cracking their knuckles and pounding their fists. Blue became more scared when he saw the new creature and he screamed as he pushed himself off the ground with his front legs. He fell over onto his back and screamed in pain when he hurt his broken wing. Everyone, except the green scaly monster, ignored him. The green monster looked at Blue before it began focusing on the greedy creatures. It spun around, knocking a few creatures onto their feet before lifting one creature off the ground and throwing it at another attacker. The few that were knocked to the ground got up, muttering something under their breath before they attacked the big monster. A hat fell from the sky and landed on top of one of the creature, who screamed in surprise, which caused the other fighters to be distracted. The distraction provided the monster an opportunity to strike, so it pulled off one of its arms that had many claws. It hit one of the creatures with it, and gave it minor scratches along its face and back. One of its companions looked at the scaly monster wide eyed before he noticed the creature pulled a limb from its mouth. The scaly monster hit him with fist that it held on its detached limb and knocked the smaller creature to the ground. The creature with the top tossed the hat to the ground and got the attention of the big monster. The monster leaped towards the biped that threw the hat on the ground and landed on it. After the monster got off of its target, the creature was not as tall as it used to be. The creature was short stacked, and the creature’s companions looked on at disbelief at how their companion was now only up to their knees. They finally looked at their opponent who wasted no time to attack. It hit one in the face to send him flying back. The creatures decided that the green scaly creature was too much and took off running, forgetting about Blue. While the creatures were running, the green creature began to move more of its limbs. It turned out that the green creature was not actually covered in green scales, and that the green scales were actually leaves. The limbs were actually branches, but that was something that the golden-brownish chimera would know, at least, for now. He was watching Blue get chased by the humans and felt bad for the pegasus; however, disguising as a monster was not part of the plan to help Blue Streak. He was going to swoop down and beat the humans, but he crashed and fell through a lot of branches. He did find the branches useful, and he was happy to help a defenseless creature. The eastern dragon bent over and picked up his hat and scowled when he noticed it was dirty. He dusted it off and looked around to see if he could see Blue, but he was unable to and felt bad for scaring off the poor pegasus. He hoped that Blue would be alright, though he saw the pegasus had a broken wing. He may not know a lot about pegasi, but he knew that if his wing did not heal properly, his wing could get worse. There was nothing he could do for Blue now, but he kept thinking about the bat-winged pegasus. He was no veterinarian or doctor, so even if he did find Blue, he could only be there to give him shelter. During his walk, the chimera entered a beautiful meadow that was abundant with animals. There were nocturnal animals about, feasting on their food. Eccentric paid them no mind since dragons were not on their diet. He did see diurnal animals sleeping in the trees as he walked, making him feel a little tired. He heard bats, wolves and owls here and there as he walked through the forest, plentiful of trees and leaves. Hearing the wolves made him worry about Blue, knowing that he could be in greater danger because wolves generally hunted in packs and that Blue would not be able to defend himself or fly. They would tear the poor thing apart without a second thought and devour him. Blue Streak was a prey type of creature, after all, but Eccentric still felt bad for him. It was as if the pegasus got one bad apple after another. Eccentric got to the cave he was temporarily staying in and stopped to look back in the direction he he came from. It was dark in the cave, but he felt sure he was alone as a lied down to sleep on the hard surface of the ground. He reached over himself to get the blanket his friends made with their names on it and he covered himself with it to keep warm, but at that moment, he heard a sneeze. He quickly got up and looked around, only getting up when he saw something he did not notice earlier. He walked over to it and saw that it was a tail. He saw the owner was attached to it and that they were shivering. Eccentric got the blanket and covered up the creature and went back to his sleeping spot. He curled himself up to go to sleep. He was too tired and it was too dark for him to see much of the owner of the tail, and it did not help that the creature was sleeping behind a boulder. The sun’s golden rays reached around the trees of the forest until it reached the cave where it acted as a blanket. Blue Streak woke up with a yawn and was confused about the blanket being on him. He was thankful that whoever owned the cave was kind to him, so he folded up the blanket until it was nice and neat. He slowly peeked around the corner of the boulder he was hiding behind. He saw nopony there, but he saw a small pile of berries nicely stacked. He walked over to it and saw that there was a picture of his head on the dirt and that an arrow was drawn from the berries to his head. He cautiously smelled the berries before he ate them. The berries were succulent and were plup. They were delicious with each bite he took, and it made him happy that these were his favorite berries. The berries left a tangy taste as if the berries were dancing on his tastebuds. After he ate the blue and grey berries, Blue left the cave in search of water. The sky was clear and a bright shade of blue. The air was full of chirping from birds as they flew around in a playful manner a Blue walked through the forest, keeping his eyes and ears open. Blue had not been through the forest during the day, and even in the day, he was scared. He did not know what danger other than wolves lay dormant, and it was his goal to get a drink of water with as little trouble as possible. The birds watched him with curiosity as they perched themselves in the trees while he walked as quietly as possible. There was a gentle breeze, and Blue liked it as it blew through his zebra like mane, but as soon as he heard splashing, Blue jumped back and nearly fell over. Blue quietly followed the sound of the splashing, carefully tip-hooving to make himself as quiet as possible. Blue was hardly ever violent, and anypony that knew him would say he had xenophobia, an irrational or unreasonable fear or hatred of the new, strange, foreign or unusual. While he did have fear, he lacked hatred, and he was willing to try anything new as long as it was safe, related to flying, or help with the mail. Blue was also more of a pacifist, only fighting to help others. Even when he was cornered, he would only kick to try and get away if he saw an opening he thought was worth risking. He was not a true pacifist, though. He does swat flies and bugs to scare them off, but he never killed anypony. He would even feel bad for killing a bug, even if he did not kill it directly, such as a snake eating a spider he set free so it would not bother him. Blue arrived at the source of the splashing and saw Eccentric bathing himself. The blue bat-winged pegasus hid behind a couple of bushes, watching the dragon wet himself with water and rubbing his scaly body. Eccentric had no idea he was being watched and continued splashing around in the lake without a care in the world. Blue was only watching to see what the chimera would do and had no pleasure type interest in the dragon. He was deciding if he should risk taking drink of water while the dragon enjoyed himself or wait. Eccentric was feeling pleased about having played in the water and felt like relaxing. He lied on his back and started to float. Blue decided to poke his head out and Eccentric saw the pony and quickly got upright, trilling in the water to keep from sinking. Blue got scared so he took off running as Eccentric swam to land. The chimera was about to call out, but Blue didn’t give him much chance. He got out of the water and ran to his shorts before he chased Blue Streak. Blue was afraid that Eccentric was going to eat him. Blue ran and ran as he jumped over bushes and ran around trees while the dragon chased him. Blue jumped through a bush, but on the other side was a steep hill. Blue fell down the hill, the soft green grass keeping him from getting more hurt than gravel, and he landed in the middle of a berry plant. It scared away some rainbow colored birds that were eating the berries. When Eccentric reached the hill, the birds nearly crashed into him. Eccentric ducked and waited for the birds to fly by. As soon as they were, he looked down to see if he could find Blue Streak, but he was unable to find him. He figured the pony just ran forwards, so that was where he went. Blue was out of breath when he slowed to a stop in a part of the forest that had green, peach shaped berries. He looked around to see if anypony was around before he sniffed them. The berries smelled divine, and they looked succulent as they shined in the sunshine. Blue ate one of the berries, and it had a sweet taste. Blue ate more of the berries, and at first, he felt fine; however, after each minute passed, he felt funny. Blue was inflating little by little as if somepony was slowly filling him up with helium. His body was becoming spherical, his legs and neck slowly disappearing into his rounded body as it got bigger and bigger. He slowly began to float into the air as if he were a balloon, and as he ascended, Blue became scared because he knew he did not have any control. What was worse was that Blue’s broken wing was in more pain with each passing second that he continued to inflate. Blue tried calling out for help, but all he did was squeak. He finally stopped inflating when he was as big as a large shed; however, he continued to rise into the bright sky with no sign of stopping in the near future Blue did not know how long he would stay inflated, but he thought he wa a goner either way because if he did not stop, he would get burned by radiation, and if he was back to normal, the dragon would get him. As he floated away, the gentle breeze blew him in a random direction. Blue was unable to look around willingly, and he felt scared because something might catch him from behind, especially since he was defenseless and unable to fly at will. Ducks flew past him, and as they flew, Blue felt like they were making fun of him as they quacked. Blue saw a cloud and hoped to use it to hide until he was back to normal, but the wind kept pushing it away and Blue was unable to reach it. The air was getting thinner the higher he rose, but suddenly, he felt a tug. Blue blushed from embarrassment, his cheeks turning into a purple and pink color, when he felt somepony tug on him. He saw he was being slowly pulled downward from the sky, and he wondered who was rescuing him from his “wheatly
