In a last ditch effort to keep from falling onto the ice, Katie turned herself towards the side railing and promptly ran into it without any braking. Despite being jarred by the crash, Katie was able to grab hold of the railing to support herself, but she was struggling to get the skates under herself.\n\nFinally getting over the shock and surprise of what had transpired over the course of a few seconds, Lilian couldn't help but laugh at her friend. Sensible choices was not one of Katie's strong suits.
