Lilian and Katie met up at the beach parking lot to enjoy a relaxing day together. Both were wearing their regular bikini outfits, Katie’s bikini was a basic side-tie style, and Lilian’s bikini had a regular top but had a short skirt for the bottom. Katie quickly repressed the look of disappointment she had on her face for what Lilian was wearing. She wished her friend would quit hiding part of her beauty behind concealing clothing like the swim skirt that she was wearing. They leisurely walked the boardwalk, looking at shops and chatting. Sometimes forgetting that they were also looking for a good spot on the beach as well. One of the shops that they came across was a swimsuit outfitter. At a glance, it seemed to cover the gamete: micro bikinis to full body wetsuits. With a light tug and a nod towards the shop, Katie and Lilian went inside to see what they could find.
Once in the shop, they almost immediately went their separate ways. Katie gravitated towards all things small and showy, and Lilian looked at ones that were cute but would cover her bulge. As both looked through what was available, they grabbed ones to try on that were either candidates to buy or just to see how the swimsuits would look on them. One of the bikinis that Katie came across used two ribbons, one for each breast, to hide the wearer’s nipples; and the bottom was V shaped and would barely cover Katie’s sheath. She laughed a bit to herself as she thought the fabric would not move at all if she got an erection while wearing it. But after a moment, Katie sighed and put the swimsuit back. Katie had always secretly wished that a sheath did not hide her penis. Katie believed that her penis was part of her total, physical beauty, but her sheath hid it from everyone but a lover. In the back of her mind, she wished she did not have a sheath like Lilian.
As Lilian shopped, one bikini in particular caught her eye. Its shape was nothing special. Standard fare on all accounts, but its alternating horizontal bars of pink and yellow made it standout to her. In her mind’s eye, she saw herself wearing it and blushed a bit as the reality of how much it would show off her male package rose to the front of her thinking. In times like this, she finds herself wishing she could be more confident like Katie, wearing cute clothes without concern if her male anatomy was noticeable or not. Lost in thought, Lilian did not notice Katie looking through the same clothing rack and towards where she was standing. With a bump, they were both awaken to the presence of each other. They apologized to the other at the same time and laughed at the unity of their apology. Katie noticed the bikini that was in Lilian’s hands and asked if she was going to try it on.
Lilian quickly put it back and said that see was just looking at it because of the coloring. Katie walked over to the bikini and held it up in front of Lilian, seeing that it would not hide a male bulge, said that it would look really cute on her and that she should try it on. After some cajoling and Katie asking to see her in it, they headed over to the dressing rooms to try on what they had found. Katie went first and greatly enjoyed modeling the swimsuits to Lilian. Then it was Lilian’s turn to show off what she’d found. Katie struggled to hold back her excitement as it grew with each passing bikini being shown and then switched for another. In the end, Lilian had the last one to show; and with a sigh, Lilian put the pink and yellow bikini on. Looking at herself in the mirror before showing the bikini to Katie, Lilian had to admit that the bikini did look cute on her, but blushed a bit every time her eyes would linger on the bulge she made in the bikini bottom. With a deep breath and a reminder that it is just to show her friend, Lilian pulls aside the privacy curtain and presents herself to Katie. After a momentary silence with Katie looking her up and down and repressing her envy all the while, Katie complimented Lilian and said that this bikini looked the best of them all on her, and that she should wear for the rest of the day. Lilian, in an unconscious reaction, grabbed the lower half of the privacy curtain and moved it to cover her crotch. “NO!” Lilian said in a hushed shout. “I… Well,… Look, I just don’t like the idea of having a bulge visible to strangers.”
Smiling warmly, Katie walked up to Lilian, put one hand onto Lilian’s shoulder, and said, “What is wrong with having a noticeable bulge? Are cute herms supposed to hide the existence of their male anatomy?”
Lilian’s eye reflexively glance down at Katie’s small bulge as Katie finishes her question. “No. I just believe that part of the reason to wear a swimsuit is to obfuscate what is between a person’s legs.” Looking away for a second, then back straight into Katie’s eyes, she continued speaking with a softer voice. “Besides, people will notice this even without looking at it. I don’t want to be seen as some hyper herm who likes showing off their privates. That’s not how I am, Katie, you know that.”
Katie smiles and takes a step back to make it easier for Lilian to see her small bulge. “You seem to think that you need to completely hide your male anatomy to be presentable in polite public.” Turning towards the rest of the shop and waving her hand over it in a presenting fashion, Katie continues, “Obviously, some would disagree with your standard of modesty, and we will even see some of those people, man or woman, on the beach today.” Now turning back to put her other hand on Lilian’s other shoulder, “Well, I think that what you are wearing does not make you look like a sex crazed jerk, but someone that is respectfully covering herself while not being afraid of showing that she is a cute herm.” And finishing in her mind, “In the way that I wish I could.”
Lilian tepidly let’s go of the curtain, letting all of herself be seen again, bulge and all. “Are you sure I look all right? I mean, compared to you, I look enormous.” She waves one hand over her bulge to further make her point.
Katie lightly laughs, “Yes, I am sure; and besides, I am not the best person to compare size with.” Pausing and kindly looking Lilian squarely in the eyes, “Buy it. You look great, and I don’t believe this compromises who you are one little bit. I’ll even treat you to ice cream, and we can move to the actual beach portion of our trip.” It was hard for Katie to hold back the almost pleading nature of her request to Lilian to buy the bikini.
Lilian stood there for a long moment, thinking, before trying to stand a little more upright as she says, “All right.” Pausing, as if surprised of her own agreement, “I’ll grab my things and we can check out. Oh, and not because of the ice cream.” She quickly added with a smile. Katie agreed with a wide grin, and a minute later they were both at the ckeckout counter buying what they picked out. Now with tags off and ice cream in hand, they continued down the boardwalk with Katie’s arm over Lilian’s shoulder for confidence and Lilian’s hand on her messenger bag for safety.
Katie raised her ice cream up and looked over to Lilian, “To The Beach!”
