Their spotted bellies had swelled steadily as they had frolicked in the lush gardens under the warm sun, while the females carried them more and kneaded their misections with their forepaws to encourage them to gorge further. At last as the night had fallen and the oil fires had been lit, each of the feral males had been adorned with necklaces, spiky collars, tiaras, shoulder-blade-mounted dull blades and other ceremonial implements of war.\nNow they all stood in line at a windy field high up in the mountains after a few hours of grueling trekking with their ornaments and hefty swollen bellies... in advance each jaguar warrior had been carefully measured and topped up with meat if their girth had been too small for their underbelly to sag down to their calves. Furthermore, they had been fitted with cone-like iron muzzles to allow breathing and talking but not the use of their fangs, to lengthen the upcoming battle. Panting from the exertion with their flexible backs bowing from the load, they stir restlessly with their rotund bellies swaying pendulously from each move as some claw the short grass and others flick their tails anxiously. None of them can avoid cringing however due to how their uncomfortably stretched tailholes clench around the thick wooden plugs which have been fitted on everyone and secured with organic glue to keep their bulging intestines from relieving themselves.\n\nAt the other end of the uneven field their opponents gather in a similar line, the sight prompting both sides to growl and hiss ominously with their ears swivelling backwards as they await for the preparations to be finished – many swollen bellies gurgling audibly and rippling from nervous anticipation as their owners glance at them. Because these battles are rather unique in the regard that every warrior has a serious handicap and vulnerability in the form of their food-laden bellies, and they're not only forced to adjust to the girth and weight with little training but they also are very aware how their midsections are the prime targets for their opponents. And death is likely to be drawn-out while escape is pointless due how only the winning side gets to remove the plugs which are putting their intestines under major strain already.\n\nFinally the shuffling in the lines stops as everyone has found their place, and this effectively signals the beginning of the battle as there are no great fanfares or onlookers, and every warrior is gorged enough to prevent any shows of dexterity or great speed – instead most of them trudge or plod towards the enemy at a leisurely pace while scouting for weaknesses, their legs spread out to avoid bumping their swinging bellies too much while the cacophony of whining and growling fills the battlefield.\nAlready an impatient younger jaguar dashes forward only to stumble and slam belly-first into the hard ground with a shrill cry... scrambling to stand up as the opposing side draws close. Another inexperienced warrior soon becomes the first victim of the battle as he is led astray by the initial confusion of the two sides meeting, and ends up in the middle of three enemy jaguars who easily avoid his clumsy paw swipes while leading him further away from the rest with calculated muzzle nudges directed at his sensitive belly. After which they topple him with some difficulty by having one distract him while the others ram his legs and flank, so that his tender underbelly is exposed and can be mercilessly stomped with forepaws until his taut stomach splits open within him, the hapless target shrieking and puking bloody food before fainting from shock. The trio leaves the twitching jaguar and his misshapen midsection behind to join the fray again... everything seems to happen in slow motion due to how awkward it is for everyone to move.\n\nThe hindrances and lack of tactical mobility soon cause the battle to break down into individual fights where one or two unfortunate feral jaguar warriors are being harassed by a larger group. At one side of the battle, a writhing jaguar is being pinned down on his back as his huge spotted belly is being slowly cut open with a shoulder-mounted blade to spill half-digested meat onto the grass as he hisses and gasps... part of the meat quickly ending up in the bellies of his killers as is customary, to increase their girth and widen their flanks even more. On the other side, a losing jaguar collapses onto his belly and is piled up on by equally heavy-bellied opponents one by one, the loser frantically trying to drag himself away as his aching stomach flares under the pressure to the point where it bursts with a splorch to mar the grass with meat chunks, jaguar guts, and blood. Parts of this gory sight end up in several maws as well, although hardly hungry maws as the victors grimace during the painful gorging as their straining bellies stretch some more.\nAs the battle progresses with jaguar carcasses, spilled food and gore littering the ground, the pace slows down further due to sheer exhaustion and mere fighting gives way to other pursuits as well – namely, the consumption of their fallen brethren and specifically the valuables with which they've been adorned. The honour of the returning battle party depends on the amount they bring back, they know, and anything not gobbled up by the time the other side is dead or has surrendered, is forfeit and must be left behind. Hence large lumps travel down fuzzy throats and whimpering groans rise into the crisp mountain air when-ever someone tackles an object like a blade... albeit relatively dull for a reason, swallowing them causes anguish and holding them in one's stomach is quite dangerous even if a coveted honour.\n\nThanks to the additional meat and valuables, the bellies of many of the remaining combatants now bulge enormously, although a couple have been less greedy to preserve whatever mobility they have left. The tempo of the battle turns into more of a waiting game as well, seeing how nearly everyone has ingested hard items which grind and poke their stomach lining as they shift within their spotty bellies... and thus one viable tactic is to simply force the greediest enemies to stay on the move so that their midsections might end up being pierced from the inside. Most seem to be able to contain everything they've eaten, but one melanistic jaguar who has devoured enough for his underbelly to constantly brush the ground despite his attempts to keep up his bowed back, literally rattles as he waddles briskly to evade pursuers. Growling in distress increasingly frequently as small bulges keep appearing under his dark pelt when the heavy items wallow about.\nHis comrades initially try to cover him but find it impossible due to their own perilously full state, not to mention he seems to have simply eaten too much – and as he tries to pick up the pace again, his right hindleg bumps hard into his swaying belly, sending the tip of a hazardously positioned blade straight through his stomach lining and tight skin on the left front. He immediately crumples up with a primal scream, digestive juices spurting out of the wound while the opponents rush him the best they can to yank on the blade's tip so that he's torn completely open while he growls helplessly and passes out from the injuries soon as his stomach contents are disseminated.\nElsewhere, two jaguars face off each other in a duel as they try to gain the upper paw with calculated and ginger steps – both of them repeatedly freezing mid-step to gag briefly when the multiple short polearms in their stomachs prick their stomach lining. Once they manage to get close enough to threaten each other with their claws and back-mounted poles, the duel is cut short when one of them slips on discarded jaguar intestines and slams into the other to cause both of them to be penetrated by multiple barbed tips from the inside while their stomach contents burst into their stomach cavity and take them down quickly by shock to be ripped open by others for their possessions.\n\nBy this time the amount of warriors has been whittled down to perhaps a half of the original number on one side, and less than a third on the other side, which is starting to spell doom for the small side as their warriors are more and more easily separate from the rest to be deal with impunity – and hence the battle turns into a drawn-out slaughter instead.\nLike how one jaguar whose swollen lumpy belly is weighted down by gemstone necklaces he has gobble down, is singled out and surrounded so that he can be grabbed to be held in place with forepaws placed onto his shoulder blades and haunches with claws extended... the iron muzzle meaning that he can do little but grovel and lash his tail when two enemies start headbutting his vulnerable midsection from both sides, harder and harder. For a little while they simply toy with him and bruise his already sore belly by striking it in alternating pattern, but finally they both come at it from opposite sides at the same time... the abrupt squeeze splitting the target's underbelly open so that all the heavy glittering fare within him falls onto the grass. As usual, both his stomach contents and his flesh are fought over while he still lives, to the point where all that's left are scattered hide pieces, intestines strewn all over, bones and parts of limbs, and a head.\n\nThe unnerving massacre eventually forces the remaining few jaguars on one side to surrender by default as they are becoming too exhausted to even more with their heavy bellies, and the victorious side clusters around them to decide their fate while the dismayed survivors of the losing side sit on their haunches to rest their grossly distended bellies on the ground, each of them trembling fearfully. It doesn't help that the decision-making involves plenty of prodding, nudging and paws placed on their swollen bellies to gauge their state.\nFiguring it out doesn't ultimately take long and the method is discussed in whispers to keep it from the prisoners for the time being – they are ordered to start filling their stomachs with whatever they are told to ingest, and keep doing it at the behest of their captors until given new orders. As there's nothings especially unusual in this, the prisoners laboriously clamber up to be led around the field which is now more red than green from all the gory remains of jaguars.\n\nThe collecting of items goes on for a good while since there's just so much left... bracers, gem-studded collars, tiaras, tail rings, toe-rings, necklaces of all kinds, back covers, and so on, all of it laying in piles here and there where-ever a treasure-gorged jaguar has been slain during the battle, or in case of many items they are still on their original wearer. It's not only valuables which the hapless defeated jaguars must devour as the voids in their bloated stomachs are filled with softened meat to the point where their legs can barely move without digging into their enormous spotted midsections, and before long they are all but immobilized as their underbellies begin to drag along the ground which makes walking too much of a chore after a little while.\nSeeing that it's either impossible or pointless to continue, the victors reveal the final part of their little plan – they order the utterly stuffed jaguars to settle onto their sides so that their full stomachs can be extracted to be used to carry the contents out of the battlefield, a revelation which causes a fair amount of horrified looks and desperate wails from the doomed jaguars when their captors descend upon them to start.\n\nThe serenity of the mountains is disturbed for the next hour with ear-piercing screeching and wailing when the jaguars are exruciatingly slowly sliced open from crotch to chest and their translucent stomachs carefully exposed by pulling their hides out of the way to fully vivisect them. After which the victors reach into their bodies to cut their esophagi near their maws, and a large amount of intestine is similarly pulled out to make a slings which are used to hang the large taut organs from the backs of the least gorged victors – while the losers expire gradually from the brutal treatment to be left for the scavengers. What follows is a long trek back to the jaguar cities where a great celebration is held, and as the last part of the initiation rites, non-fatal stomach surgeries are performed without painkillers to collect and tally all the valuables gathered from the field, so that they can be cleaned and prepared for the next battle. For this, the exhausted winners are guided to a special building where shallow oval depressions have been cut into the stone floor, all of them arranged in a circle pattern with narrow conduits running from them to a central sewer grille. The next orders for all of them are to sit on their haunches to place their massive bellies into the depressions, one each – after which they are given wooden gags to bite on.\nThe final part is close to what the jaguars did to the losing side on the field, albeit with much more care... as the others wait and nervously stroke their waiting bloated bellies, a jaguar and two helpers slice them open with a crude obsidian blade one spotted midesection at a time, carefully exposing the stomach to extract everything with a short horizontal cut to the lower part of the organ, the helpers stretching the pelt flaps to the sides to allow the cutter to dig out everything easily. Once they're done, another jaguar starts to stitch everything closed whereas the poor owner of the stomach is likely on the verge of fainting already from the agony while having bitten the gag nearly in half. Even so, the only sounds the make are stifled growls, as anything more would be weakness.\n\nAt last, as blood and digestive juices drain into the sewer along with mushy digested meat, the valuables are deposited to chests along the walls while the warriors are taken away to recuperate - some of the items bearing marks of having changed paws in a similarly brutal manner for dozens of times.\n\nThe End.","writing_bbcode_parsed":"The Bloated Battle

The day before all of them had been at the height of pleasure as they had mingled amid shapely jaguar females while endlessly sampling luscious meats and washing them down their gullets with cold fresh spring water. It doesn't help that the decision-making involves plenty of prodding, nudging and paws placed on their swollen bellies to gauge their state.
Figuring it out doesn't ultimately take long and the method is discussed in whispers to keep it from the prisoners for the time being – they are ordered to start filling their stomachs with whatever they are told to ingest, and keep doing it at the behest of their captors until given new orders. As there's nothings especially unusual in this, the prisoners laboriously clamber up to be led around the field which is now more red than green from all the gory remains of jaguars.

The collecting of items goes on for a good while since there's just so much left... bracers, gem-studded collars, tiaras, tail rings, toe-rings, necklaces of all kinds, back covers, and so on, all of it laying in piles here and there where-ever a treasure-gorged jaguar has been slain during the battle, or in case of many items they are still on their original wearer. It's not only valuables which the hapless defeated jaguars must devour as the voids in their bloated stomachs are filled with softened meat to the point where their legs can barely move without digging into their enormous spotted midsections, and before long they are all but immobilized as their underbellies begin to drag along the ground which makes walking too much of a chore after a little while.
Seeing that it's either impossible or pointless to continue, the victors reveal the final part of their little plan – they order the utterly stuffed jaguars to settle onto their sides so that their full stomachs can be extracted to be used to carry the contents out of the battlefield, a revelation which causes a fair amount of horrified looks and desperate wails from the doomed jaguars when their captors descend upon them to start.

The serenity of the mountains is disturbed for the next hour with ear-piercing screeching and wailing when the jaguars are exruciatingly slowly sliced open from crotch to chest and their translucent stomachs carefully exposed by pulling their hides out of the way to fully vivisect them. The next orders for all of them are to sit on their haunches to place their massive bellies into the depressions, one each – after which they are given wooden gags to bite on.
The final part is close to what the jaguars did to the losing side on the field, albeit with much more care... as the others wait and nervously stroke their waiting bloated bellies, a jaguar and two helpers slice them open with a crude obsidian blade one spotted midesection at a time, carefully exposing the stomach to extract everything with a short horizontal cut to the lower part of the organ, the helpers stretching the pelt flaps to the sides to allow the cutter to dig out everything easily. Once they're done, another jaguar starts to stitch everything closed whereas the poor owner of the stomach is likely on the verge of fainting already from the agony while having bitten the gag nearly in half. Even so, the only sounds the make are stifled growls, as anything more would be weakness.

At last, as blood and digestive juices drain into the sewer along with mushy digested meat, the valuables are deposited to chests along the walls while the warriors are taken away to recuperate - some of the items bearing marks of having changed paws in a similarly brutal manner for dozens of times.

The End.","pools_count":2,"title":"The Bloated Battle","deleted":"f","public":"t","mimetype":"application/msword","pagecount":"1","rating_id":"2","rating_name":"Adult","ratings":[{"content_tag_id":"5","name":"Strong Violence","description":"Strong violence, blood, serious injury or death","rating_id":"2"}],"submission_type_id":"12","type_name":"Writing - Document","guest_block":"t","friends_only":"f","comments_count":"2","views":"546","sales_description":null,"forsale":"f","digitalsales":"f","printsales":"f","digital_price":""}
