\n\t\t\t\t\tnekochan90The laughable ease of picking off random sheep and young cows without being found out by hunters had made for a deceptively effortless early summer for Feligris, and thus she had grown complacent – something which had gradually led her to fill up her stomach more and more during each gorging simply to satisfy her taste for fresh meat. However finally all of this had backfired eventually because the local villagers had found her range and posted a few hunters to scout the area… after which they had eventually decided to keep a close eye on one sheep flock specifically.
Their persistence had finally paid off as Feligris had emerged from her hiding place to assault the flock without paying much attention to her surroundings as nothing had happened in a long time – whereas the hunters in hiding had decided to sacrifice a sheep or two to be able to surround the large predator in the meantime. And Feligris had indeed greedily chowed down on her prey to the point where she had only stopped by the time her overly distended stomach had throbbed painfully from all the meat and bones she had crammed inside it… then the hunters had sprung their trap and send her on the run with arrows flying towards her from all over. Already as she springs up to make a mad dash towards freedom it dawns on her what a large juicy target her low-hanging belly is at the moment.
Normally she would easily be able to lose the hunters despite their weapons, but this time Feligris knows she has screwed up big time as her bloated midsection is simply too heavy to allow her to run fast enough, not to mention her aching and spasming stomach swings about like a boulder which keeps bumping into her legs. Although she's able to barely dodge the first volley of arrows since the hunters have been forced to stay rather far to avoid being hear or seen by her, her path takes her right towards several of them while she's unable to do any swift course changes due to the danger of her belly taking her down to a fatal tumble. Nevertheless she thinks she sees an opening in the midst of her pursuers and heads towards it…
… but despite her best attempt, it's not enough as suddenly burning pain erupts from her left flank, her tail reflexively poofing up from the shock while she throws a number of hasty glances at her side – finding out to her horror that a broadhead arrow has literally sliced the side of her belly open. Moments later her pace starts to die down as the agony intensifies from how her every motion tears the wound wider, allowing her translucent meat-laden stomach to start bulging out…
Catching the gorged feline had been easy for the hunter troupe after her obscenely bloated stomach had bulged out of the wound to the point where she had tripped from the pain and tumbled wildly across the field, trailing blood on the grass along the way. The large feline pants in anguish as she attempts to crawl away with the side of her belly radiating excruciating agony – but she's soon apprehended by the hunters who grab her legs despite her snarling and slam her to the ground to hold her down.
Feligris screeches as her swollen midsection and the exposed part of her stomach receive a few vicious kicks from the triumphant hunters – whereas it's not hard for her to realize what's going to happen as the knives come, their blades shimmering in the sunlight while her eyes widen and her desperate squirming intensifies. The grassy fields are soon full of shrill cries and hisses, as the hunters not holding the large feline down, descend upon her to start squeezing her meat-laden stomach further out while cutting her hide open towards her crotch to make her spill her intestines as well.
As the hunters start to take out their frustrations on her, Feligris can only watch in horror as her stomach is struck with a knife to puncture it so that foul-smelling liquid literally bursts out through the gash, sprinkling all over herself and the small crowd around her – after which events begin to go past in a blur thanks to sheer shock. She can sense someone reaching deep into her stomach cavity to begin cutting her stomach loose while other hands yank out her intestines to pile them up on the dirty ground… the sting of a blade telling her that they're being cut into pieces as well. In the meantime her voice grows increasingly weak and hoarse, and her struggles weaken as her vision fades and the commotion around her seems more distant by the moment.
Some time later the hunters relax and clean their bloodied arms as they admire their handiwork – the now dead feline strung up from her neck in a branch as they had decided to hang her when she was still breathing after losing most of her innards, her carcass swaying lazily in the wind, and a matching grisly pile of intestines strewn haphazardly below her on the ground. The feline's partially digested thick stomach contents have been explored through a long slice cut to the side of her stomach and her guts have been poked full of small holes to figure out what's in them – now that there's nothing more to do than make reports of the successful mission and figure how many sheep were lost in this final strike, the predator's remains would be left for the vultures and other scavengers to eat...
