So she's got a mermaid like body with front flippers and a long fluke tail, and then around her waist/hips is a large skirt of tentacles.\n\nthe whole species of these octo-nessies would be hermaphroditic. often swimming in the Mediterranean sea and the british isles. Often attributing to the legends of sea monsters and the Loch Ness monster in folklore and ancient Greek and Romen tales.\n\nThey enjoy making whale like calls and whistles to eachother on foggy days on the islands coasts, which provoked the legend of Sirens calling to sailors to come to shore, And the legend of giant squids crushing whole ships, were unfortunate misunderstandings, as these gentle water giants enjoy following ships under the surface, and some have tried to rescue the sailors when their ships become damaged while out at sea. But the sailors who survive believe their ships were crushed and sunk by the sea monsters themselves. and some had even fallen victim to whalers who attempt to spear them with harpoons. but fortunately, non have been captured, leaving to the legend of giant squids under the ocean waves, as the harpoons find bits of their flesh being much like that of octopus or squids. fortunately, they can heal quickly from injuries and leave almost no trace of the original wound.
