A Day Off For VeronicaFoxx By Draconicon It had been a bit of a risk to leave Boomburg for this city, but from everything that Latexia had heard about this guy, it was going to be worth it. The black hippo turned, looking down at the pink kobold-esque creature that was clutching her hand like a leaf shaking in the wind. Quite literally, in some ways. She could feel the vibrations coming up her arm, and it was almost enough to shake her limb right off. Hell, she had to put a bit of effort into loosening up her shoulder to be able to take it. “Gemini, it’s okay. You know that I’m here to take care of you.” “Know. Not easy.” “I know. Just try to relax, okay? I promise, this guy isn’t going to hurt you.” “How do you know?” “Because if he does, I’m going to put him through six walls and then six feet underground.” “You keep saying that. Never do it.” “Shhh. Don’t tell anyone that.” She smiled, patting the little kobold, dragonling, whatever Gemini actually was on the head. The kid was very, very nervous, but also more than a bit cute. The hippo could feel herself being charmed every time that they spent time together, and… Well, she let it happen. There’d be consequences - there were always consequences to caring about someone - and she’d deal with it when they came. Latexia knew that they were going to be expensive, but she wasn’t going to let herself think about that right now. Today, of all days, she was just going to have a good day out and enjoy herself. She held up her hand, an old smartphone floating out of the latex of her body, still open to the google maps page. Peering down at it, she nodded. “Should be right around the corner.” “You mean that one? There?” Gemini pointed, and Latexia looked up to see no fewer than five supers tussling with each other. They were swinging fists, fireballs, lightning bolts, and a couple of guns and clubs around. She sighed. “Just like home, alright. Stay behind me.” As Gemini nodded, Latexia walked with the smaller creature just behind her. Not so much to protect it, but to make sure that Gemini had no reason to be afraid of any of the fighting. The hippo had seen what the little ball of pink could do, and there was no reason to start a scene when they weren’t really registered to be here. The heroes, villains, whatever didn’t seem to notice them, not even when Latexia stepped through the door to the famous massage parlor. She shook her head as she shut the door, turned to face the counter - BANG! The hippo stared down at the sudden stretch in her chest, several air puffs that were the firmness of bullet forcing bits of her ‘skin’ forward. She glared at it until it rebounded, looking out the window at the super responsible. “You’re fucking lucky I don’t have time to deal with you!” she shouted back, flipping him the bird before looking for her charge. She found Gemini clinging to the ceiling, little more than a puddle and a pair of eyes staring down. Shaking her head, the hippo held out her arms and the pink ooze dropped back into her embrace, shivering a bit before Latexia calmed it with a few pets. The people in the waiting room had at least a little respect for her, not stopping her as she marched up to the counter. A dark mink waited for her, looking up from his computer with a slightly apologetic expression. “I would assume that you would be Latexia...and that would be Gemini, correct?” he asked, pointing to the ooze in her arms. “Yes. We had an appointment?” “Yes, one of the rare ones I offer. Come along.” The mink waved over his shoulder as he stood up and walked to the back room. By the time they left the waiting room, Gemini had resumed its dragonling form, and by the time they reached the massage room, was definitely more firm than Latexia was used to seeing. Probably trying to get ready for the massage. The mink, Edvin, she assumed, patted the massage table. Gemini looked up at her, and after getting a nod of permission, walked over. Its arms extended, sliming up for a moment as it pulled itself onto the table, and then laid out flat. The only thing that looked less than solid was Gemini’s face smooshing flat into the table, the eyes popping out the back of its head. “Well...first time I’ve seen someone do that,” the mink said. “Does she -” “It.” “Ah, my mistake. Does it prefer deep massage or light?” “I’d start with light and go deeper if it goes well,” Latexia said. “Just make sure that you take care. Gemini’s very young.” “You can trust me, ma’am.” “Yeah...You know why.” She sat down with her arms folded under her bosom, shaking her head as she watched the mink get to work. It took her a good bit of self-control to not be hyper-protective, to not glare daggers at a stranger, but she knew that this was something that they both needed. Gemini needed a chance to feel someone else touching it, to know that there were people out there that would want to make it feel good in safe ways, and she… She needed to start letting go a little bit. The hippo knew she was getting too attached for safety, but it was hard when she saw someone that was that roughed up. She needed to start taking care of that now, before it got any worse. Still, she kept a close eye. The last thing she needed was for Gemini to start backsliding around someone that didn’t know what they were doing. Thankfully, this Edvin seemed to be very good at his craft. She could see by the way he touched the goo-dragonling that there was every intention to be gentle, his fingers brushing along in feather-light touches that were like a stranger confronting a suspicious animal. Someone that was going very light, saying that it was going to be okay. The mink leaned forward a little when Gemini relaxed, gently sinking his hands into its back. The little dragonling winced at first, then went back to lying down. It seemed to open up a bit, and not just figuratively, either. “You might not believe this, but Gemini isn’t the first goo-super that I’ve dealt with. Certainly the most solid, though,” Edvin said. “Yeah, well, you’ll be working me next, so you’ll get to try two new things.” “Yes, I’m sure. Gemini here seems...very bubbly. Is that normal?” Latexia looked around the mink and smiled. The little goo-dragonling was literally bubbling, a little light fizz that bubbled and frothed along its back. “It’s just happy.” “Well...it will probably like this, then. May I go deeper, Gemini?” “Mmmph...yes...please…” That cute little voice turned into a happy bubbling as the mink gently slid his fingers deeper inside of its body. Latexia watched with some fascination as Edvin let the goo swallow up his hands, working on a massage right on the different bits and pieces of the inner body. Not painfully, not like a gore fest, but rather feeling around gently as if he was being guided by some other sense, pulled to where the tension was greatest. It didn’t take long before his deep-core massage was dissolving Gemini right into a happy little puddle, where its eyeballs were floating around and rolling back happily, where the entire surface of the little goo-puddle was covered with happy little bubble fizz, rising, floating, popping like a bubble-bath on steroids. Latexia shook her head with a small smile. It was just what the little thing needed, and it made getting shot in the back completely worth it. Edvin even managed to help the poor thing reform, pushing the goo together into a ball and rolling it between his palms a few times. “So, Gemini, would you like to stay round, or do you want me to rub you into something different?” “Hippo, hippo!” Gemini crowed from inside. “It looks like you may have a pink sister to take home, ma’am,” Edvin said. “Or a daughter,” Latexia muttered. The pink ball was stroked, massaged, and delicately tugged into the shape of a hippo, one that was a bit lighter and less hefty than Latexia herself was. By the end of it, Gemini was grinning most happily, and rushed off the table with a rolling lunge for the black hippo. Latexia barely got her arms up in time for the hug, and groaned as she was nearly smothered against the wall. “Mmm, that felt good...Thanks. Thanks for good.” “Don’t thank me, thank him.” “Oh, right.” Gemini turned around, facing the mink again. Rather than bow or just give a shy, whispered thanks, it grabbed him around the waist and picked him up, lifting him almost to the ceiling. “Thaaaaaaaank you!” “Ooof! You’re most...welcome...can you...put me down?” “Oh, yes. Sorry.” Chuckling, Latexia gently nudged Gemini to the waiting room, telling it that the place was safe. Edvin backed her up, and Latexia climbed onto the massage table. “Now, ma’am, may I assume you want a...more extensive massage?” “Boy, I want you to reach inside and give me the happiest ending you can manage.” “Well, so long as we’re clear…” She chuckled. Gemini might not have any urges in that direction - and if it did, good lord, that would be disturbing and wrong, and the hippo would have someone to kill - but that didn’t mean that she didn’t. And the work of re-raising a kid was definitely cutting into ‘fun’ time. But hey, it was worth it, so long as she occasionally got what she needed. The End
