The setting: Think of the world this story takes place in as a mirror image of our own, then replace every race with one or more anthro species(more than one species in most cases), so-called 'feral' animals still exist, much as they do here, the city won't be located anywhere specific although it will be distinctly 'western', as in English being the predominant language spoken. Species are not indicative of racial origin. Time frame is roughly Jan 2009 at Prologue.

About:A quiet, self contained Tiger who cares deeply for his son George, and abhors violence and crime due to his time in the military, contrarily taking up a job as a policeman, which quite often sees him in similarly violent situations, also works part-time as a security guard for a private security firm employing only those that have, currently or in the past, worked as policemen or military personnel, enjoys quiet evenings by the fire and spending time with his son. Father to George,Husband to Lillian, Jorge's partner, close friend of Sarah's.

George Pope-

About:Quiet and self contained like his father, unusually mature and good natured for his age, has few friends due to his intolerance of 'childish' behaviour,harbours a secret crush on Emily, constantly worries about his father due to the nature of his work but stoically keeps his reservations to himself, much to the chagrin of his father who, ironically, does much the same, sees Sarah as something of a mother figure, despite the fact she is hardly ever around. Isobelle May-

About:Quiet and reserved at home, flamboyant and expressive during dance, friendly and jovial at school, Isobelle is every bit the role-player, in practically every sense of the word, she always seems to know what needs to be said, and how to say it. only when alone or with alone with her sister does she act herself, her cute naive face hiding a formidable intelligence and dark sense of humour, loves and is greatly loved by her sister. Sister to Emily, Daughter of Andrew and Sophia.

Emily May-

Height/Weight:5'2"/85 lbs, Athletic and toned, very fast, plenty of stamina.
Distinguishing features:Typical fur colouration and patterning, exudes an air of confidence, likes to keep her fur rather short.

About:A robust tween seemingly happy and full of life, leader of the pack and quite popular at school, star player of the [school name-team name], the school's female soccer team, doted on by her father, she both loves and hates the man, she knew how he treated her mother, but she also knew how he treated Isobelle and herself, despite what they taught in Phys Ed, overly protective of her sister, and quick to violence if she were to be threatened, Emily is otherwise sweet natured and friendly, when not trying to manipulate her teachers that is. Sister to Isobelle, Daughter to Andrew and Sophia.

Distinguishing features:Typical fur colouration and patterning, covered from head to toe with with a variety of tattoos, each representing either a different prison or momentous occasion in his life, Isobelle and Emily are tattooed across either side of his chest. Occupation:Drug dealer, minor arms dealer, general thug and criminal.
About:An amoral thug with very little to redeem himself, petty and violent, loves his daughters although most would say just a little too much. Father to Isobelle and Emily, husband to Sophia, Little Johnny's partner.

Sophia May-
Species:Alaskan Malamute
Age:29
Height/Weight:5'5"/154 lbs, Thin build, almost to the point of emaciation.
Distinguishing features:Lacklustre coat and bleary,tired eyes, usually sports a black eye or two.
Occupation:Housewife, mother, drug dealer.
About:A woman beaten into submission by her ruthless husband over the course of many years, now generally indifferent and sullen, she often indulges in any one of the many different drugs that pass through the household on its way to the streets and usually earns a beating for consuming too much, Sophia is basically your typical stockholm syndrom sufferer, both loving and loathing the man she met so many years ago, mentally crippled to the point of not even being able to set foot outside. Mother to Isobelle and Emily, Wife to Andrew.

Jorge-
Species:American Black Bear
Age:27
Height/Weight:6'3"/310 lbs, An absolute monster, pure muscle set in an almost square frame, very powerful.
Distinguishing features:Totally Black from head to toe, carries an air of authority and strength, usually wearing an austere expression, often rests his paws close to his weapons belt when making a point.
Occupation:Policeman
About:Unbeknownst to most, Jorge has led a hard life, abused as a child and bullied at school he quickly learned to defend himself in his late teens, solid as a mountain and strong as a... well bear, he learned the hard way that violence gets people hurt, badly. Jorge has been partners with Steven ever since he lost his old partner seven years ago, tempering his fiery nature to one of caution and prudence, ever preferring to intimidate his quarry rather than actively engaging in violence. Steven's partner.

Gay Johnny-
Species:Australian Dingo

Height/Weight:5'11"/139 lbs, Thin to athletic build, lithe and agile, very quick on his feet.
Distinguishing features:Typical fur colouration and patterning, always wears his trademark rainbow hat and sneakers, and is always smiling regardless off the situation.
Occupation:Drug dealer, hitman, minor arms dealer.
About:Gay Johnny is an odd one, always full of mirth and resplendant in his 'colours' as it were, leading many to assume that he is in fact gay, much to the amusement of the young Dingo, his nickname comes from his choice in clothing as well as his constant smile, although rather jovial at face value he is in fact as ruthless and fearless as his partner, never hesitating to put a bullet between an enemies eyes, laughing and smiling all the while.

Sarah-
Species:Eurasian Lynx
Age:25
Height/Weight:4'9"/112 lbs, Small and delicate, relatively weak.
Distinguishing features:Typical Colouration, small for her species, sad eyes and a delicate smile.
Occupation:Social worker
About:A women disheartened by the cruelty and neglect she sees on an almost daily basis, although she tries her best for those in need she often finds herself conflicted by the choices she must make, and the predictable outcome of those choices. Was devastated by Lillian's death, has never truely accepted the fact that she is gone forever. close friend of Steven's and Lillian's, mother figure to George.
