On a fine day at a quiet and beautiful town, where the leaves were beginning to fall onto the ground, a short and slender gray Scottish terrier with black eyes, thick gray eyebrows, a gray looking mustache around his face, and a red collar with a gold diamond-shaped license around his neck, was walking alongside a dark brown bloodhound, with dark brown nose, dark brown ears, and a black collar also with a gold diamond-shaped license around his neck. Their names were Jock and Trusty and they were on their way towards a nice looking house where their friend lives. 
Jock: Lassie. Hey, Lassie!
Trusty: Oh, Miss Lady, ma’am!
Jock went around the backyard and there he spotted the other dog. This is Lady, and she’s a cocker spaniel with light brown fur, dark brown colored ears, and brown eyes. She also has a tan muzzle and belly, and just recently, she’s been given a collar of her own, which is a light blue collar with a gold diamond-shaped license much like the ones Jock and Trusty have. Both dogs noticed their friend looking glum. Jock called her name once more until Lady turned her head and greeted her friends.
Jock: Good morning, lassie. ‘Tis a bonnie, braw, bright day.
Lady: Mmm… Well I certainly can’t argue with you, it does look lovely today.
Trusty: Why, Miss Lady. Is everything alright? You looked a bit down in the dumps.
Jock: Aye. You can tell us, lassie. If somebody’s been mistreating ya…
Lady: Oh no, Jock. Nothing like that. It’s just… I fear I did something bad yesterday and I’m just worried if I made Darling upset with me…
Before Lady could even explain, the door to the kitchen started to open, revealing one of Lady’s owners. A beautiful, tall, and slender looking middle aged woman, with nice light brown hair, wearing a wonderful looking blue dress and a nice hat with a blue ribbon.
Darling: Oh, hello Jock, hello Trusty, I was going to see if Lady was ready for our walk, but I’ll let the three of you catch up and you can let me know when you’re ready.
Darling gave her dog a mother-like smile before closing the door.
Trusty: She seems fine to me.
Lady: That’s how she is now, but yesterday she was very upset and wouldn’t even talk to me.
Jock: Alright, lassie. Take a deep breath and start from the beginning.
Lady: Well, about two weeks ago, as soon as Darling and I were having lunch in the kitchen, I noticed that her legs were rubbing against themselves under the table. At first I thought that she was having a bad itch and when I placed my muzzle on her lap, she petted my head and told me that she was fine and at first I believed her, but as the days went on she went from rubbing her legs to placing one of her hands in between her legs. The look on her face certainly painted a picture that she was uncomfy and it worried me to where I had to walk over and lick her hand to see if she’s alright, but she removed her hand and even turned away, like she was ashamed for what she did.
This information was also capturing Jock and Trusty’s interest.
Lady: And then when we went for our walk, Darling would sometimes stop and I would turn around to see her body shaking a little. It kept on happening until we eventually stopped when Darling found a bench and took a seat. She still had that uncomfortable expression on her face as she looked around the park and I also did some scoping, thinking that someone must be staking her. I started to growl at anyone trying to come near her, but Darling would order me to stay down and that everything’s okay, but I knew it wasn’t. I stood guard right next to her, until she picked me up and started petting me, which did feel nice and it did make Darling better to where we were able to continue our walk, but once we got back home, she looked to be out of breath and that’s when I started to smell something on her. Whatever it was, it was coming from her crotch. I never smelt anything like it and I wanted to get closer, but the next thing I knew, she told me to sit and just stay in the living room while she went upstairs into her room.
Jock: So did ya find out what the problem was?
Lady: Not at that moment. I tried, but Darling would always tell me to stay outside and the door would always be closed. The only thing I was able to pick up were the sounds that Darling would make.
Trusty: What kind of sounds?
Lady: Hmm… It’s… hard to describe, but at first they sounded like she was crying, but then after a while Darling sounded like she was happy. … Now that I think about it, I think I’ve heard that sound before whenever Jim Dear and Darling are using that room to mate, but Jim wasn’t in the room, it was just Darling.
Lady looked over her friends and could see that both of their tails were slowly wagging. From the looks on their faces, Lady asked her friends if they have any idea on what’s going on with Darling.
Jock (Blushing): Ah… Er… Well.. *Ahem* M-m-maybe you should continue on just in case there’s more details we need to know…
This got Lady’s attention as both Jock and Trusty, mostly Trusty, were trying to hide the flustered expression on their faces, but Lady continued on.
Lady: Well, as I said, I didn’t understand what was wrong with Darling until about a week later when Jim Dear returned home from work and he had a paper bag in his hands. I followed him to the kitchen and I overheard him talking to Darling about how that the item he had in the bag was going to help her itch and she looked so happy, but it’s what he said next that got me very curious…
Week Ago
Jim: I’m sure Lady wouldn’t mind cleaning up your mess after you get done using it.
Present
Jock: You… Helping Darling?
Lady: That’s what I thought as well. I couldn’t tell if Jim was being serious or if he was just joking, but Darling didn’t seem to find it funny. Her face grew red as Jim just laughed and then the next thing I knew, they both found me standing in the kitchen with Darling looking extra shy before she excused herself to her room. I was also a little mad at Jim Dear for making Darling upset, but whatever he brought for Darling, it seemed to be working because she started going back to her normal self, so I forgave him eventually.
Trusty (Blushing): And… Did you find out what this item was?
The dogs could see they struck a little nerve with Lady because the cocker spaniel looked down at the grass.
Jock: Er… Lassie. We can stop right here if this is bringing up any bad memories…
Lady: N-n-no… It’s fine, Jock. I trust the both of you and this could be a key part into understanding what I did wrong. But I will say that this next part will get a little more… revealing, for lack of a better word.
Lady had the right idea when she saw the interesting expressions coming back to both Jock and Trusty, but still she pressed on with her side of the story.
Lady: Eventually, I did found out what Darling was using for her itch…
Yesterday
Lady’s POV
I was looking for Darling around the house. It was about time for our walk and I had the leash ready as I climbed up the stairs and eventually spotted Darling in her bedroom right in front of the dresser. I saw her looking for something inside the top drawer as gently tugged on her dress to remind her about our walk. She petted me before explaining that she needed to take care of something before we went for our walk in the park.
Darling: I should be ready in about 30 minutes.
And then the next thing I knew, she shooed me out of the room, but in her haste she forgot to fully close the door when I turned around and noticed it was still cracked open. I know I probably shouldn’t have, but now I had the chance to finally see this item that was helping Darling with her itch. I made sure to get a good view of Darling as I finally saw this item, or toy as both Jim Dear and Darling likes to call it. Anyway, she pulled this item out from the drawer. It was a strange looking toy for sure, it was light blue and it looked like a kind of long bullet with a little knob down at the very bottom. I was now very curious to understand how Darling was using this toy to make herself feel better, and then the next thing I knew, she stripped her dress and she even took her bra and her panties off, leaving them all lying on the floor, so now she was butt naked in her own room. I have seen both my owners naked before from the countless times they forgot to lock the door and I had to walk into them mating with each other, but it was just Darling in her room. I don’t know if I should be saying this, but I felt like I was Jim Dear for a short while because I do remember scanning Darling’s whole body and realized what a lucky man Jim Dear is for marrying a beautiful woman like her. *Ahem* A-a-anyway… After she undressed herself, I saw Darling picking up the item and gave the tip a kiss. From the look on her eyes, Darling was certainly eager to use her toy, just as I was slowly getting intrigued in seeing this item being put to use. She climbed onto her bed, where I caught a glimpse of her cookie before she turned herself around to lay on her back. Her legs were spread slightly as Darling lifted them up. I couldn’t get the best view of her cookie, but I did watch Darling moving her left hand towards her cookie. Her fingers were spread apart as I saw her rubbing her cookie slowly. My eyes were locked into what Darling was doing, this was my first time seeing a human playing with themselves and from the look on Darling’s face, she seemed very relaxed. I saw her closing her eyes and it’s from there that I finally heard the noises she’s been making these past few weeks. Only this time, I didn’t hear any kind of whimpering. She sounded very relaxed. The calm and pleasing smile I saw on her lips as I watched her fingers moving up to rub that little button of hers, my interest was growing. I have never seen anything like this and… *Blushing* I liked what I saw. It’s hard to explain why, but I remembered being focused on Darling’s pleasing face that I almost forgot about the toy until I saw Darling looking straight at her toy. She kept on giving the tip some kisses and then she proceed to lick it around before gently interesting it into her mouth. She closed her eyes and that pleasing sound got sharper as I watched Darling licking her toy. I slowly started to put two and two together when examining the scene. It’s been a while, but I remember Darling would do this kind of gesture whenever she and Jim Dear are ready to mate, and I started to wonder if that’s what this toy is used for. I kept my eyes on that toy, when Darling finally pulls it away from her mouth. My tail was wagging as I watched Darling pulling her fingers away from her cookie as she moved her right hand down towards the knob and gave it a quick turn until I heard it vibrating. I could feel my own heart beating as I watched that toy getting closer until the tip touched and it started to rub across Darling’s little button. I saw her body shaking and I heard the shakiest moan that I never thought Darling could make. I just stood there and watched Darling moving that toy around her button as I felt my own body reacting in a way that I just can’t describe. I kept on watching, as I heard Darling’s pleasing noises growing louder as she moved her toy down towards the outer layers of her cookie and then her body lifted itself as Darling moaned again even louder. All of this was really capturing my interest. I didn’t know a human could mate themselves alone like this, but now I understood how this toy was helping Darling with her itch and I started to understand what was causing those noises I heard earlier. Her body kept on moving so much that I thought to myself if Darling was going to jump out of the bed. I was actually debating myself if I should go over and check on Darling or just stay outside the door like I was told. As I thought about it, I heard another pleasing moan, almost sounding like a scream and Darling began to shake again. I tried getting a closer look, but all I saw was that toy going back to rub on that button again until Darling rested her body for a short while. I thought it was over, but judging by the look on Darling’s face… caught me off guard with what she did next. I watched Darling turning herself around until her knees were on the bed. The way her butt was lifted, it was like my owner was a dog herself, but I was able to get a better view of her cookie and see it from the position Darling was in… I was actually tempted to walk in and gain an even closer, but once I heard the vibration of that toy going off, I stopped in the nick of time because Darling just placed that toy right in the center of her cookie and went back to rub herself until she actually inserted the toy right inside.
Darling: Ah-ahhh…! Oof…
At this point, I could even feel myself panting as I watched Darling moving her hips back and forth as her left arm also moved that toy in and out. I still saw the pleasing look on Darling’s face and the pleasing sounds she kept on making.
Darling: Ahhh… Ooohh…! Oooh… Jim Dear! Oooo… Right there, right there, honey! Take me, please! Mmff…
I sat down and I was just so intrigued by this action! I watched that toy pushing itself deep enough to where those pleasing sounds kept on coming. I could feel my own cookie itching as I watched Darling slowing down her thrusting until she took one deep breath and then she just laid where she was.
Darling: *Panting*
I watched the toy slowly coming out of her cookie as Darling rested her head over her right arm until she dropped her toy onto the floor.
Present
As Lady was wrapping up one part of the story, the backyard was filled with fluster and awkward expressions. No one knew what to say, but Lady was blushing non-stop and wagging her tail with the boys until Jock broke the silence.
Jock (Blushing): Well uh… It seems… You’ve experienced quite a scene…
Lady: *Blushing*
Trusty: N-n-now, Miss Lady, ma’am. I want to be first to say that you’re not the only dog that has encountered those kinds of scenes before. Why, as my grandpappy, Old Reliable, used to say… I don’t recollect if I’ve ever mentioned Old Reliable before.
Jock: Aye, you have, laddie.
Trusty: Oh yeah.
Jock: Anyway, Trusty is right, lassie. Any dog in your place would have had a similar reaction, even me.
Lady (Blushing): It’s… It’s not just my reaction, but it’s what I did next that caused Darling to be upset with me.
Both Jock and Trusty remain silent as Lady explains the last part of her story.
Yesterday
Lady’s POV
After Darling took care of herself, I just stood by her door. There were a lot of emotions flying around my brain as I sat to try and process what just happened, but I eventually snapped out of it once I heard Darling falling asleep. She looked very peaceful. I wasn’t sure if I should’ve waited outside the door like Darling told me, but she did say that once she finished we’ll go for our walk. So I entered the room with my original goal being to wake Darling up, I didn’t realize that I was walking towards her toy until I started to smell her scent and I looked down and just stared at it for who knows how long. Her scent was all over that toy and I don’t why, but the more I kept on sniffing it, the faster I felt my tail wagging.
Darling: Mmm… *snoring* Mmph…
I turned my attention over to Darling once I saw her left hand moving over and now her head was laying down on both arms. I climbed up to see if I could wake Darling up by licking her face, but all I heard was a faint and soft little laugh. Her eyes weren’t opening, no matter how many times I licked her face. I figured maybe it’s best I leave her be, but as I was walking towards the end of the bed and getting ready to climb down, my nose picked up another scent similar to what was on the toy. It caused my mind to turn around and that’s when I came face to face with Darling’s cookie. I don’t know what came over me, but my body really wanted to check on that cookie and seeing it up close felt much different than seeing it from outside the door, but I could tell this was Darling’s because she had the same pleasant smell that’s was present on her toy, although I don’t know if my mind was playing tricks, because it felt like Darling’s cookie had a stronger smell compared to her toy and the more I smell it, the more I wanted to get close to it.
Lady: *sniff sniff* mmm…
What happened during these next few minutes… it’s all still quite a blur to me, so I’ll do my best to recall what happened. I don’t exactly know how long I was smelling Darling’s scent, but do remember Darling reacting to my nostril flaring by shaking her own butt around the bed. It made me want to press my nose on that cookie. I do remember rubbing my nose around the bottom part of her cookie, and then all the way down to her little button. She just had a certain smell to where it was difficult for me to pull my nose away, and the cookie itself felt soft around my nose that I felt myself panting again. And then… I still don’t know how to feel whenever I start to remember this part, but the next thing I knew, I opened my mouth and I started to lick her cookie. I don’t quite remember what Darling tasted like, but I do remember just running my tongue and licking that cookie as much as I could. I did stop for a short while once I heard Darling letting out a shivering moan, but the way she shook her butt in front of me, as that scent continued to linger into my nose. After taking a deep breath, I lowered my head and went back to run my tongue along those folds, and the more I licked on her cookie, the more I started to like her taste.
Darling: Ooo… Jim Dear… When did you come home, honey?
I once again stopped for a short while.
Darling: Mmm… *Giggling* You didn’t had to stop. I could actually use this nice cleaning before I have to take Lady for her walk.
And she continued to wiggle her butt right at my face. At this point, I was already willing to continue, even though I wasn’t Jim Dear. I placed my tongue back on that cookie and this time, my tongue traveled up to her creamy folds, where I felt the tip of my tongue slowly making its way inside. I don’t know how, but the inside of her cookie was tastier than the outer layer. I dug my tongue a further inside, as I could feel Darling’s cookie and my nose rubbing themselves together. I licked every part of that cookie until I felt the left side of my front paw gently touching Darling’s little button. I removed my tongue and took a step back to gaze upon that button. That was the only spot I didn’t touch. Looking back now, if I had just walked away I probably would've been a free dog, but it seems that I wanted more and I began to licked that little button. It was just the tip of my tongue, but I felt Darling’s legs kicking on the bed and her pleasing scream motivated me to continue. I was also lost in enjoying this moment, that I didn’t realize what was to come next until I heard something that made me jump.
Darling: LADY!!! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING?!
I looked up around the sametime Darling turned her body around and scooted away from me. I stood on the bed and felt my body aching when I saw just how upset I made Darling. Her cheeks were bright red as she looked at my muzzle, probably seeing the juice around my lips as she looked down at her cookie. My heart was racing when Darling looked back at my direction, still clearly upset.
Darling (Blushing): *Panting* Lady… I thought I told you to wait for me outside the door! You don’t just come into a room and start licking someone’s private parts like that! Aren’t you ashamed?!
I felt like I should be. I never had Darling raise her voice at me, I didn’t even know what to say to her.
Darling: Lady… March straight out to the backyard right this instant and I want you to think about what you just did! You better hope I feel better enough to still take you for a walk after what you just did!
Present Day
Lady still felt guilty just thinking about Darling’s words before she left that room, feeling absolutely terrible about her actions. Jock and Trusty were just as shocked about the situation as Lady was still upset with herself.
Lady: We did eventually go for our walk, but it was clear that Darling was still upset with me to a point where she didn’t want to look at me during the whole walk. It made me feel even more ashamed that eventually I made Darling take me back home. … I couldn’t even get a wink of sleep that night. I’m sure Darling told Jim Dear about what I did.
Jock: And… How did the laddie react?
Lady: Well… It didn’t seem like he was upset with me. In fact he gave me a leftover steak for breakfast and told me that everything will be fine. He said I just needed to steer clear from Darling because something life changing was going to happen in the house and that I should expect Darling to act a bit differently, but I don’t understand what he means by that.
Jock and Trusty looked at each other again. They both had a good explanation for Darling’s behavior, but just to be sure…
Jock: Have you noticed any other behaviors from either Jim Dear or Darling?
Lady: Hmmm… Actually, now that you’ve asked. I would occasionally see Jim Dear looking down at Darling’s stomach and they would both smile whenever they touch her stomach.
With that information in mind, Jock and Trusty gave each a confident nod which gave Lady some hope that these two would have the answer to her troubles.
Trusty: Well, you see, Miss Lady, the reason Darling is acting the way she is right now, there comes a time in life of all humans when, uh… Well, as they put it, uh… Birds and the bees?
Lady cocked her head in confusion.
Trusty: Or… Well, uh… The stork. You know…
Lady shook her head, so Jock had to step in and be blunt with his answer.
Jock: What the lad is trying to say, lassie, is Darling is expecting a wee barin.
Lady: Barin?
Trusty (Chuckling): He means a baby, Miss Lady.
Lady: Oh… … What’s a baby?
Jock: Well, they resemble humans.
Trusty: But I’d say a mite smaller.
Jock: Aye. And they walk on all fours, like us.
Trusty: And if I remember correctly, they bellow a lot.
Jock: Aye, but they’re mighty sweet. Just a cute little bundle.
?: A bundle of trouble, that’s what they are. Especially for the mother.
The dogs turned their heads to see a full grown gray dog making his way into the backyard and into the conversation.
Lady: Bundle of trouble… How so…?
?: Well you see… *Pushes Jock away* Make some room, will ya…? Sure, a baby is nice to have to play with, but let me be the first to tell you that once those little termites get inside the mother, it’s like they found the switch that makes them act a certain way they normally wouldn’t and from what I was able to gathering from your conversation, it seems this bundle has already caused your owner to go into heat.
Jock tries to butt himself back in between this gray dog and Lady.
Jock: Now just a minute, here! Who do you think you are and what do you know about mothers and babies?!
Tramp (Chuckling): Well Tramps the name, if you would want to know, and as a dog that’s seen it all, I know first hand on how mothers normally act then they’re due for a litter. I was just walking by and heard this little Pidge’s…
Lady: Uh… My name is Lady, actually.
Tramp: Whatever… Anyway, I heard about your trouble and from what your friends here have mentioned, they are right in that your owner has a baby in her stomach and that baby is what’s making her go into heat and let me tell you, what you did yesterday was the right thing.
This got everyone’s attention, including Lady.
Lady: R-r-really…?
Tramp: Hm-hmm… See, when it comes to mothers expecting a litter, they go through different process of emotions, one of the emotions they always feel at first is the protective phase, where they’ll do just about anything to protect their young ones and that includes letting any male species mate with them as they fear their rockets hurt their litter, but what those poor saps don’t realize is that by putting off their normal mating schedule, they’re actually harming themselves and they’ll start to gain some sexual frustration to where it could lead the ladies down a dangerous path where they’ll mate with just about anyone just to feel satisfy. You did your owner a solid favor by taking care of her when she needed it the most.
Lady stood and what Tramp just described to her, made the cocker spaniel remember a moment where Darling apologized to Jim Dear about how they can’t mate for a long while. She almost took Tramp at his word, but Jock stepped in between the two dogs.
Jock: Don’t listen to him, lassie! What would a mongrel like him know anything about a mother and a child?!
Tramp: Well if you want some proof, just give me a few minutes to bring in my friends that are mothers right now. I’ve had moments where a couple of these bitches would come up towards me for help, and even with my tongue in those cookies, it’s sometimes not enough for them, and I’ve even seen some brutal moments where male dog would make the female dog do just about anything to show how much they want to be mated. As much as you want to believe otherwise, humans are just like us. When the situation is present, they’ll do just about anything to scratch that itch.
Lady: … … Da-Darling would never want to harm herself…
Tramp: You’re right, she wouldn’t. Not if you or this Jim Dear makes sure she’s taken care of. Do you know how many bitches would call your owner lucky for having not one, but two faithful creatures treating her like a princess and taking care of her heat?
Lady: … … B-but… Why did Darling scold at me if you claim that I’m helping her?
Tramp: Well, have you ever seen a human and dog getting together the sameway a male dog and a female dog would get together? She’s more used to having her own mate taking care of her that she probably thought she doesn’t need you, but that’s where she made the mistake and you still did her a favor by showing your owner that you can take care of her needs just like her mate would’ve if he had been there instead. You said that before she kicked you out she was moaning, practically motivating you to continue. So I have no doubt that if she would have kept her eyes closed and you finished the deed, she would have been a very happy woman because you took the time to please her.
Jock and Trusty looked over at Lady and they saw her tail slowly wagging across the yard.
Jock: Now hold on there, lassie. You’re not actually going to believe anything this mongrel is saying, right?!
Tramp: *Shrugs* It’s up to this lovely Pidge here if she wants to believe me or not, but I will say this, if you hadn’t stepped in and did what you did, would you have left your owner alone and just let her mate do all the work, or would you have still helped her out eventually?
Lady: … …
Tramp: Sometimes no one knows how to take care of a pregnant woman other than women themselves. Again, I can get some of my female friends that were in the same situation you’re in right now where it as also very awkward at first, but they later admit that they were thankful to have another woman step in and take care of them when they needed it, and while your owner is mad at you right now, I have no doubt that once she has her baby, she’s going to look back and consider herself lucky that she had her mate AND her loyal dog that stuck by her side during the whole ordeal.
Lady’s tail kept on wagging and her cheeks started going light pink as Tramp finished up his ‘wisdom’.
Tramp: It’s up to you on what you think is more risky, getting kicked out of the house all because you know you had to lick your human’s cookie, or ignoring her needs and run a bigger risk of having this Darling getting harmed by another human. The choice is yours to make.
Jock (Growling): Alright, that’s enough out of you! Get out right now, before I have to show ye the way out!
Tramp: Alright, alright… I know when I’m not wanted.
Before he left, Tramp turned his attention to Lady once more.
Tramp: Remember, think about the situation you and your humans are in right now and think about what’s more important to you and how important do you view your humans.
And that was that. As Tramp left the yard, Lady stood on the grass as she took a lot of the information Tramp had just told her.
Lady (Thinking): Darling wouldn’t harm herself…
She certainly hoped not, at least, but the words of Tramp couldn’t help but to make Lady worried for Darling. Anytime Lady saw the way Darling would rub her legs, both she and Jim would noticed the way Lady would stand close to Darling as she would either place her paw or her head over Darling’s lap, looking concern for the old gal, but both she and Jim would pet their dog, telling Lady that everything was okay, and eventually Darling apologized to Lady for the way she scolded her on that fateful day, so Lady was glad to hear that Darling was no longer mad at her and to make up for it, Darling gave Lady a nice juicy steak to eat. Things seem to going well in the household, Lady noticed that both her owners were still the loving married couple she knows, and she can still hear the way Jim Dear would take care of his wife from the bedroom while Lady waits either outside the bedroom door or in the kitchen until they’re finished and Lady can come back in to sleep with them. Darling also seemed to be returning to her normal self, the only difference is that sometimes Darling would take a short rest by sitting on the bench in the park, but Lady never mind, she would sit down next to her owner, and sleep on her lap as Darling would pet her dog before the two would take a short rest and then they’ll finished the rest of the walk before returning home. Both Darling and Lady were extra careful with each other, as now Darling would make sure the door to the bedroom was actually locked, and anytime Lady saw Darling going up to her room, she would just go someplace else and wait until Darling was done.
One night, Jim Dear and Darling were gearing up for a nice rest as the married couple turned around and began to ditch their clothes.
Darling: How was work today, Jim Dear?
Jim: Not too bad. The guys and I had to pull a lot of weight today, but we managed to get most of our goals done before the end of the day. Got some good news, too. I was able to convince my boss to not only give me and some of the other guys a pay raise, but I was also able to score a two week vacation for the next month.
Darling: Oh, that is wonderful, dear. It would be wonderful to have some extra hands in the house.
