The year is 3621, after countless tries from the scientific community, humans were finally able to give animals human-like traits and slowly human-like qualities as well. No longer will species like felines and canines will have to walk on all fours, and animals like bears, snakes, and gorillas don’t have to worry about hunting for their own food, and humans no longer will need an animal expert to understand what a certain species is thinking. Now these animals can live and form their own type of tribes. For those that love animals, it’s a dream come true for them, and some of the animals have found that plenty of humans mean no harm, some have formed relationships or live close to one another for help. However, the one big oversight with this new life form is that the population has had another big boom. Every species has been growing families left to right, and just because certain species are living in harmony, there are still those species that hate each other's guts and there’ve been heated moments that sometimes lead to unfortunate incidents. Because of this, the leaders of different species have gathered around and brought up a list of solutions that could hopefully fix this problem. That’s when a male buck stepped in and he explained about a recent talk he had with the other deers and even humans about how they miss the hunting seasons back when animals were just feral and they live for some kind of action almost similar to it. The leaders talked and soon they put together a brand new hunting game with newer rules. This hunting game will happen once every different season and only certain species will take part in this hunting season. To make sure no bystanders get hurt, the leaders would pick and build areas only meant for hunting, these areas will include either a small or a decent size housing, with a couple of motels for the species to live until the hunting season is over. As for who gets chosen to partaken in the hunting, usually the government will either pick someone that doesn’t have a huge family or other times they might pick a prison inmate with a guard watching it’s every movement to make sure they only fight those on the hunting ground, and other times each species would volunteer themselves to be in the hunting ground. Every species must be 18 years or older to partake in the hunting and once hunting season starts, they must stay in the hunting grounds during the whole season, where their goal is to basically make it out alive by the time it’s over. The hunting itself is mostly a hand to hand combat. Guns are used, but each hunter is only allowed to get one shot in the body and after that one shot, they must put their guns down and just fight until one of them is either dead or knocked unconscious. Knives or other blunt objects they find are allowed to be used as well and even more than one species is allowed to fight each other at a time. There are guards around the hunting grounds to make sure no foul play is happening and if anyone suspects that someone is breaking the rules they are to be escorted out and face a possible permanent ban from hunting again. They also provide food and drinks to the hunters everyday. As long as the guards have their uniforms on, then they don’t have to worry about getting shot, although there have been a few misunderstandings where the guards will also find themselves in a fight with the hunters. Families of the hunters will also be informed if someone is about to take part of the hunting season and they will have a final say if they want their loved one to be part of the hunt. The families are aware that their loved one may not come back alive, but even if they do make it out, they will cover the family with some money to help pay for the medical and funeral costs. As for how the hunters themselves feel about the new rules, while some agree that a few of the rules could be improved, they all had nothing but positive experience. They like how it’s mostly a skill game, where those that are not careful run the risk of dying, and they like the fact a fight can happen at any moment, and sometimes they don’t know what to expect from their opponents. In a way, this new hunting season has formed plenty of respect between species. Sure, you’ll still get the cheaters that’ll do anything to survive, but the hunters have to give each species created for using clever tricks to outsmart the other and some say it’s an honor to battle those on equal skills that they don’t mind the fact that they might die in the hands of a hunter, they sometimes feel like they earned in. The hunter also shows plenty of respect to those that put up a strong fight to the bitter end. They’ll even pay their respects to the family and even help pay for the bills. This new hunting season has definitely brought certain species even closer than possible. It was clear this new hunting season was here to stay, and now the winter season had just started where inside a small wooden cabin, a female turkey slowly raised up out of bed and yawned. This is Jenny, she’s in her early 20s and is one of species that actually volunteered to take part of the hunting season. *Knock Knock* Jenny: *Groaning* This is her first hunting season, actually, but she already earned the talk for being the sneaky one as this turkey so far hasn’t gotten hit during this hunt. Whenever Jenny sees or has a feeling that another hunter about to come forth, she’ll pull out her handgun and fired up a warning shot and usually for those that don’t have guns, it’ll scare them away, but if a warning shot is not enough, then other times she’ll be in a good hiding spot and wait for the right moment to jumps out and wrestle with the hunter until their knocked out. So far, Jenny has only gotten one kill in during the whole hunting season, and that was when a female Opossum snuck into the cabin. She struggled with Jenny after the turkey shut that jaw tight and went for a clean stab right when Jenny saw the Opossum trying to draw her knife out, but Jenny was able to aim right at the heart through the Opossum’s back as blood started trickling out of the Opossum’s mouth before Jenny lets her drop to the floor. As part of the rules, Jenny called up a nearby guard to let them know about the Opossum and she watched them paying their respects before they carefully moved her body out of the grounds into someplace safe. Right now, Jenny was up as early as she could be as she carefully checked outside, making sure no one was going to try and jump her before she opened up the door and accepted the daily basket the government leaves outside. Jenny carefully examined the goods, which contained some milk, eggs, bread, and even an extra magazine for her handgun, which Jenny checked to see how much ammo she had before setting it up on the fireplace. She lit a match to heat up the pot above the wood. After placing the food inside the cupboard, Jenny went over to the sink. She carefully scanned the area, no hunters yet, but Jenny has heard gossip that there’s only a select few of hunters left for this season. Just as the turkey was putting the dishes onto the rack, she suddenly lifted her head after she heard the rustling of the leaves outside. She carefully hid herself from the kitchen sink right as she carefully peeks out to see a human male hunter slowly making his way to the cabin. The human scanned around the area, he looked fairly built as he was only wearing a short sleeve shirt with bulky pants and nice hard looking brown boots. If Jenny had to guess, the man looked to be in his mid 30s, but what caught the turkey’s attention was the nice looking rifle in the hunter’s hand. Keeping a sharp eye on the human, Jenny carefully walked towards her fireplace to grab her handgun from the wall and does a double check to make sure it’s loaded before she walks over slowly towards the door as she looks out from the other window to see the hunter paying close attention to the cabin. The hunter turned his head the moment he heard the door creaking, so he knew someone was inside. From what he was able to see through the sunlight, it looked to be a turkey. Jenny watched to see the hunter getting ready to load his rifle with bullets. She held out her gun just as the hunter was ready to aim for the turkey. He saw the barrel from Jenny’s handgun pointing towards him. Jenny took a careful aim towards the hunter’s left arm and she fired her round! The hunter quickly acted on his reflexes the moment the shot rang out, he hissed as he felt the sharp bullet cutting his left shoulder, but Jenny could seen her bullet didn’t enter his body and now it was the her down to act quickly as she jumped away from the door before the hunter could his shot into her body, but Jenny was able to duck in time as the bullet hit the wall instead. After collecting her breath, Jenny crawled on the floor and carefully hid herself in the corner by the window as she gazed out to see the hunter was loading up his rifle again. Jenny had a feeling this hunter wasn’t going to be like that Opossum, she might actually have to fight for once, well if the hunter wants to fight, she’s all for granting that wish! Jenny got down on her knees as the hunter looked over to see the turkey’s head poking out and she aims her gun through the window as glass shard scattered across when a shot was fired, but the hunter quickly ducked in time and he rolled around in the leaves before he too also looked straight at the window. Hunter (Chuckling): Oooo… You’re going to be a feisty one, ain’t ya…? Both he and Jenny got up at the sametime as the hunter took another shot across the window, mere seconds just after Jenny fired her shot! Both bullets missed each other as the hunter quickly moves out of the way as he watches Jenny running towards the sink. The turkey gazed at the hunter aiming right at her again. She looked above the fireplace to see the magazine from what she just received. As another shot rang out, the turkey quickly covers and ducks her head, only getting herself a cut from the glass onto her right arm, but she managed to get the magazine and quickly loaded it into her hand gun, but by then she was too late and the hunter bursted himself into the cabin just as Jenny stood up! She glock her hammer and pointed her own handgun right at the hunter’s heart just as the hunter also had his rifle aimed towards Jenny’s stomach. The two hunters had a stare off, they both were waiting for one of them to make a move. Even if both hunters were able to get a shot in, if they were both still standing then they had to drop the guns and start fighting with their own fists. The human hunter looked straight into Jenny and there was just something about this turkey that captured his interest. Jenny also looked directly into the hunter and when she saw him smirking, she was about ready to pull the trigger when she suddenly saw the hunter dropping his rifle gently to the floor. Hunter: Let’s just say I hate to see a spirited bird like you getting taken out that easily. When he got into a fighting stance, Jenny looked into the hunter’s eyes and now she slowly started lowering her gun. Hunter: Even if our bullets were to hit each other, who’s the say that we’ll die instantly? You already had my eyes set on you the moment you fired the first round and cut my shoulder. You got the insects of a sharp shooter, now let’s see if you can survive without your weapon. The way the hunter kept on smirking as he stared right into Jenny, slowly convinced the turkey to drop her own weapon as she stared right back at him with an equally determined look. Jenny: I can promise you that my beak is not just for show. After a few more minutes of staring each other down, the two hunters rushed over as the male hunter quickly side stepped a punch coming from Jenny as the turkey grunts from the strong gut kick by the hunter’s left knee! Just when the hunter was getting ready to grab Jenny, the turkey quickly began to peck at his face, getting the hunter to back off and making him protect his own face before any serious damage could be done to his eyes. Jenny hoped this would stun the hunter enough, but it seems that he was still fast enough to deal a serious stomach punch that Jenny felt herself spitting up and then she began to stumble after the hunter dealt a nice upper left hook across the beak. Just when Jenny was about to check her beak, the hunter grabbed her head and kicked that beak nicely with his left knee, dropping Jenny on the floor on her knees! Jenny: *Groaning* Hunter: *Panting* Come on, if you’re a sharpshooter, then surely you’re a sharp fighter… Take a deep breath and after checking her beak, Jenny stood up as the two circle each other until the hunter tries to get another hookshot, but Jenny steps back and roundhouse the hunter in the face, stunning the human enough for Jenny to come over to turn and pull him over to her arm, giving his neck a very tight grip that it caught the hunter off guard! The two began to struggle with each other with the hunter trying to elbow Jenny’s arms, as the turkey held her ground and began to punch on the human’s back as they continued to struggle across the cabin! Jenny looked down and saw that the hunter’s legs were about to give in. If she let this human fall to the floor it could be bad news for the turkey as she’s sure this body is heavy enough to crush her. So Jenny tries to see if she could slowly unwrapped her arm around the hunter’s neck, with a goal of kicking him off of her before he gets the chance to land on the floor, but once the hunter felt that he was being freed from Jenny’s grip, he took this chance and back butted her beak with a crunch that Jenny stumble back after letting go! She felt some blood beginning to trickle down her nose as she quickly opened her eyes in time to see the hunter turning around. Jenny soon realized she was behind the sink and so did the hunter, meaning this could be a chance for him to come over and bash that head across the sink, but just as he rushed over towards the turkey, Jenny grabbed one of the plates from the the ranks and breaks it across the hunter’s face, making him scream in pain from the glass cutting his face. Jenny quickly kept up the attack by giving the hunter a headbutt across the nose, but before she could anything else, the turkey let out sharp pain after feeling that boot kicking right at her beak cleanly as the turkey stumble back to the sink as she felt the blood dripping from her beak and onto the sink. Jenny: *Panting* Mmf… After wiping her beak, Jenny stood back up and glared with the hunter. They each kept their guard up, waiting for someone to make a move as they kept on circling across the cabin. Jenny’s beak was beginning to bruise, but she noticed that her talons left a nice cut on the hunter’s right cheek after that roundhouse. When the hunter start to notice how close Jenny was to the fireplace, it gave him an idea. When Jenny saw the human rushing towards her, she thought she was ready, but the sudden grab and headslam towards the bricked fireplace left the turkey stunned enough for the hunter to act quickly to kick Jenny right on her lungs with his right foot, leaving the turkey completely stunned after spitting up as she tries to slowly move away from the fireplace, but she grunted once the hunter grabbed her head and now it was Jenny’s turned to feel those strong arms cutting off her air as the turkey struggled and kicks her legs across the floor! She felt her vision begin to blur as the hunter tightened his grip! Jenny tried everything she could to break free, but nothing was working as Jenny suddenly remembers the pot she’s heating up at the fireplace! Hunter (Chuckling): Not to worry. I’m not that cruel enough to where I want to cook you alive. I’ll at least make sure you're asleep before you don’t feel those burns… He then proceeds to kick on Jenny’s spine so that he can shove and bash that head right on the self of the fireplace! Jenny hissed as she felt that big bruise on her head that was starting to get worse as the hunter began to beat on the back of her head. Jenny struggled on to stay alert, but she felt her head was being cut open by the impact of the hard bricks. Jenny begins to search for anything that she could use and her eyes lit up just as the hunter wrapped his left arm around Jenny again, giving her another chokehold. Jenny begins reaching for the item she needs before the hunter has the chance to pull her away from the fireplace! Hunter: Nnnghh…! Time for you to sleep… Jenny: Nnngghh…! Th-Think again! The sound of a sharp object poking through flesh resulted in a very sharp and loud scream coming from the hunter that made him quickly lose his grip on Jenny. The turkey was able grab her fire poker in time to jam it right under the hunter’s left arm until she pulled it out and she kicked his stomach to put some distance between her! The hunter hissed in pain as he held that left arm. The needle on the fire poker wasn’t that sharp or long, but it still left a nice impression to where blood started coming out! The hunter gazed up at Jenny's proud smirk as she dropped the poker. Jenny (Panting): Whew… There’s a reason I survived this long. Hunter (Panting): Eh… Too bad this is the day you’re going to die… The two begin rushing over each other as they traded blows against their bodies with Jenny doing more damage to the hunter’s nose and in between the eyes with her beak, until she got stomach punch by the hunter as the two fighters were trying to push and shove each other around as they continue to deal some good blows. After Jenny spit up from a gut attack by the hunter’s left knee, she upper hook his jaw and shoved him back over to her sink as she grabs that face while the hunter grips the back of her head with his left hand in trying to pull her away as Jenny was about to go for the neck to strangle the hunter! Suddenly a little gleam of light was shining on both their eyes and they each noticed the sharp knife sitting on the dish rack. It was the same knife that Jenny used against the opossum, and judging by the position, the hunter had more of a chance of grabbing it! Jenny could wrestle the knife away, but she would then put herself in a greater chance of being stabbed, but there was something else on the sink that Jenny could reach! While hunter turned his body to grab the knife, Jenny quickly headbutts the hunter’s jaw, stunning him just enough for her to grab a dish towel as she back away just in time, but she did hissed in pain when the hunter managed to cut her right breasts, but that didn’t matter to Jenny right now! Now she needs to play this smart as she was standing right in front of a hunter that could do anything to her with that knife. Jenny carefully wrapped her hands around both ends of the towel as she gave the hunter a daring stare. If she messes this up it could be all over for her. Jenny was ready as the hunter rushed on over with an intended to slice Jenny’s stomach, but Jenny kept her cool and waited until the hunter was in a good distance for the turkey to stomach kick him as the hunter felt that talon poking him and he stopped his attacked with enough time for Jenny to quickly wrapped that towel right around his neck, causing the hunter to suddenly gasped for air as Jenny kept a closer eye on the knife that was still in his hand! She quickly turned the hunter around after elbowing him in the face as now the hunter felt that dish towel being tied up around his neck! The human felt his legs kicking on the floor as Jenny heard the sound of her knife being dropped, so now she can struggle with this human all she wants until this hunter falls to the floor! Jenny backed herself up as she kept the knot around this hunter’s neck as his face was slowly turning blue. The turkey could feel this hunter was losing his strength as she watched those knees beginning to bend and felt his back about to lean over towards her. To keep the pressure up while she still can, Jenny starts to kick the hunter’s shins as she carefully falls to the floor with the hunter as the human felt his vision getting blurry while he found himself sitting right behind Jenny. She saw the hunter wasn’t kicking his legs that much as she also watched his arms drop until finally his head also slumped. Jenny did a quick check to see if this human was dead or just knocked out. She could feel a pulse, so it looks like the hunter is still alive. She took a deep breath and undid the towel as placed the hunter on the floor while Jenny stood up and looked down at him. Jenny (Panting): Whew… You were definitely better than that opossum. Now all Jenny has to do is call the government and inform them about the human. She hissed from her injuries, but she was able to pick up the knife on the floor that contained a little of her blood. While she placed both the towel and knife on the sink, the hunter found himself slowly regaining some stamina. He saw Jenny right in front of the sink, washing off the blood from the knife. When the hunter turned his head, he found that he was right close to his rifle. He suddenly remembered that none of his bullets shot the turkey. Trying to be sneaky, the human carefully turned himself around until his left hand was on the rifle. *CLICK* The hunter suddenly turned his head and there he stared directly at Jenny’s eyes locking right into the hunter’s left arm that was about to grab that rifle as she pointed her own handgun towards him. Jenny: Think I’m blind or deaf? Another tenson stare off began to form between the two hunters. Hunter (Chuckling): You’re not going to get much far just by shooting my arm. You’re still going to have to fight me. Jenny: *Aims the handgun at the hunter’s forehead* You make a valid point. I just figured that a human like you would like another ‘shot’ in taking me down, but if you want me to end the hunt right there, just at the words. … I ain’t afraid to take another life. *CLICK* So what’s it going to be? Their eyes continued to lock within each other, their fingers and hands were ready to grab their guns. On quick reflex Jenny quickly fired her shot, but the hunter ducked just in time before the bullet hit any part of his body as Jenny quickly jumped out of the way before the hunter was able to shoot the turkey in the leg! Jenny sat down on one side of the table as the hunter also crawled towards the other side while holding his neck to where he could feel the strangulation from earlier. Panting for a short while, both Jenny and the hunted loaded their weapons as they leaned over to see that neither was going to risk coming near each other. Hunter (Panting): On three…? The sound of their glocks went off as both hunters shot up from the table and fired a bullet! Both were aiming for the shoulders. They each ducked as fast as they could when the bullets went off. Jenny missed the hunter completely only hitting the wall, but while the hunter didn’t get an exact shot of Jenny’s left shoulder, the turkey hissed as she felt that sharp bullet cutting through her feathers at least. Taking another deep breath, the two hunters got back up again and fired another shot. The hunter smirked when he heard the cries of Jenny after she felt that bullet going right into that left shoulder as she felt it bleeding and she almost dropped her handgun! The female turkey looked directly at the hunter’s victory smirk! Jenny tried to relax that shoulder as she smirked back with the hunter. Now that he got his shot that meet she can also shoot him freely as well and that’s exactly what she did! Even under that pain she had the last laugh when a shot was almost perfectly made into the hunter’s right shoulder, hearing the human crying out in pain now too! Jenny (Panting): Now we’re evening… The hunter watched Jenny slowly getting up from the floor as the turkey still hissed from feeling that bullet in her left shoulder as the hunter followed suit. Hunter (Panting): Nnghh… So it seems… The two start climbing onto the table. They were on their knees before they sat up and held their arms out as far as they could make them. Hunter (Panting): Looks like we got to fight ‘fair’ now… Jenny: *HHISSS* I might not be so kind as to make sure you’re alive this time… Both hunters hissed once they felt each other squeezing their bruised and damaged shoulders as they began to try and push the other off the table! Jenny does her best to ignore her injuries as she starts beating on the hunter’s ribs and chests, while also pecking on his face, but this hunter’s strong grip was making it easy for Jenny’s left shoulder to start bleeding out as she spit up from the hunter’s own strong upper stomach punch as she felt herself about to fall off the edge of the table! She turned her attention back to the hunter and saw that a fist was about to come straight at her face. Thinking fast, she quickly grabs onto the hunter, and she was able to lift herself and this hunter high enough to where she can roll him off the table with her, as the sound of a wooden chair broke from the landing of the heavy muscular human as the two hunters rolled apart from each other and they laid on the floor! Jenny: *Huff huff* Nnngghh… Mmphh… *COUGH* The turkey slowly turned her head and found the hunter laying face first on the floor. His right shoulder was still bleeding out as Jenny slowly got herself up around the sametime the hunter felt his conscious returning. Hunter: *Groaning* Mmphhh… ACK!!! Not even after lifting his head, the hunter already found himself struggling under Jenny’s returning chokehold around his neck. The strangulation from the towel was still present, so it was easy for the turkey to press on that neck as tight as she could make it as the hunter’s legs kicked against the hard floor. He gritted his teeth as he tried to hit on that elbow, but Jenny kept the chokehold tighter until the hunter was weak enough for Jenny to grab that head and slam it across the hard wooden floor! Blood was starting to run across as Jenny kept the brutal attack going until she felt the hunter heavily breathing and then she stopped. Jenny: *Panting* She slowly brought herself up from the ground, holding onto her left shoulder that was still bleeding out as she turned her head towards her bed before she turned her attention back to the hunter that was still breathing heavily. Jenny knew she didn’t have much time, so she slowly walked towards her bed just as the hunter was groaning himself and also trying to lift himself until he was on his knees. He turned his head to see Jenny bending over towards the pillows. The hunter then turned his head to the other direction and that’s when he saw something on the sink that could turn this hunt around in his favor! As the hunter slowly made his way towards the sink, Jenny was also too busy searching for something under the pillow that she didn’t seem to notice the hunter sneaking up behind with something wrapped around his hands. It wasn’t until Jenny suddenly found herself taking a sharp deep breath that she suddenly felt herself getting strangled with the same dish towel she used on the hunter! The hunter quickly pulled Jenny away from the bed as the turkey eyes shut tightly and began to cough up while struggling with this human! Her face was slowly turning blue as she felt the knot beginning to form around her neck! She tries to free herself by back butting the hunter in the face while also elbowing his guts, but the hunter wasn’t going to let go that easily, if anything he tied that towel even tighter as the two struggled across the cabin. Jenny tries again and keeps back butting the hunter’s nose, definitely hearing it cracking as the hunter felt himself going backwards! Hunter: Nnngghhh…! Stay down, bitch! Jenny coughed up some blood after feeling that strong kick to the spine just as the hunter lifted and shoved the turkey right on her bed! Jenny: *COUGH COUGH* Nnnghh…! As Jenny tries to keep her focus before her vision gets worse, she lifts up her head and she could see that the hunter actually helped the turkey in gaining closer to the other weapon that she needs! The hunter also took notice of Jenny reaching for something under the pillow. The hunter was quick enough to stomp on Jenny’s spine as Jenny’s vision was going away much quicker. Blood was running out of her beak as she felt her body growing tired. The hunter watched Jenny’s head slumping as her arms dropped! Very slowly, the hunter unwrapped the towel and he removed his foot while gently placing Jenny’s head on the bed. He did a double check to see that she still had a pulse and soon he was able to listen to her breathing slowly recovering. He noticed some drops of Jenny’s blood on her bed, and then he remembered this turkey was reaching for something under the pillow. This got the hunter’s attention and now he wanted to see what Jenny was trying to get. Jenny: *Groaning* Hunter (Chuckling): Well, well… What’s this here…? The hunter began to lift Jenny’s chin with his right hand as Jenny here’s another clicking sound that got her eyes to open up and now she was sweating some bullets when the hunter found her pocket knife hidden under her pillow! Hunter: Were you thinking about setting yourself free, or using this to slice me? Before Jenny could even try and set herself free, the hunter quickly lifted her up and now Jenny had not only dealt with another strong chokehold from the hunter’s bicep, but how she had to deal with the blade of her pocket knife that was about to cut her right cheek! Her legs were kicking as she tried to think of anything to free herself and by the time she was about ready to peck on the hunter’s arm, she let out a loud enough scream the moment she felt that blade cutting her right cheek. She was almost about to fall back to the floor due to the way she felt her cheek bleeding onto the floor, but the hunter still held the turkey around her neck before he set the pocket knife down on the dresser and he touched that bloody cheek, making Jenny hissed from how those fingers were burning her cut. Hunter (Chuckling): Definitely a feisty turkey, I can see how you were able to survive for this long. … Too bad it has to end like this. But then, he suddenly noticed the little gleam in Jenny’s eyes as the turkey turned her head towards the human while regaining her confidence. Jenny (Chuckling): You really want this hunt to end…? She quickly worked in a back headbutt that made the hunter finally let go Jenny as he stumbled back, but he quickly dodge a swipe kick that Jenny was about to make towards his face as the hunter grabs the pocket knife from the dresser and was getting ready to slash Jenny’s back, but Jenny jumped out of the way in time onto her bed as she noticed the towel and quickly started wrapping around her hand before turning to face the hunter! Another stare down started as Jenny tried her best to keep her cool, but she was worried about that blade as the hunter can slash any part of the body. The hunter noticed the slight fear in her eyes as they averted their eyes back at each other. Hunter (Panting): If you wish to keep going, I’m more than happy to fight until one of us is dead… Jenny (Panting): Do your worst! Jenny was going to regret saying that. It seems the hunter has an idea on part of the body he wants to slash. As he rushes forward, Jenny tries her best to wrap that towel around the hunter’s arm tight enough for her to hopefully put enough pressure to make him drop the weapon, but the turkey let out another painful scream when the hunter was fast enough to stab Jenny right on her injured left shoulder! The stab wasn’t too deep, but it still stung even after the hunter yanks it out as Jenny had to unwrap the hunter to hold her still bleeding left shoulder. Jenny: *Pant pant* Hunter: … Care to try again? That knife is the only reason Jenny can’t risk rushing on over to attack the hunter directly, she kept the towel wrapped around her hands as the two circled around until Jenny was close enough to sink. She braced herself as she sees the hunter is getting ready to attack again. That towel was also making the hunter play defense, if he could just cut that towel off then he has a better chance of attacking Jenny wherever he wants. He rushed on over to fake Jenny into thinking he was going to slash her neck, when in actuality he not only managed to cut that towel in half, but the blade also made a nice diagonal cut onto Jenny’s chests, making the turkey bleed some more as she started to stumble back towards the kitchen sink and now she was really sweating bullets as the only weapon she had to defense herself was gone! Now she had to act fast, as the hunter now had free range to attack her and he was going to make use of that fact, but instead of stabbing the turkey, the human was going to kick on that wounded chest and make the pain more unbearable. He got the kick in, but Jenny managed to tolerate the pain when she saw her chance to grab that arm and peck it nice and hard, which almost made the hunter drop the knife but he managed to keep a firm grip on it, just as much as Jenny kept her beak firmly on that arm as she raised her up right leg and made a nice slash on that stomach, after she teared through his shirt, but this hunter was still not letting go of that damn pocket knife, no matter how much he felt himself bleeding out, but he knew he had to get Jenny’s beak away from his arm! He grabs her by the back of the head just as Jenny was prepared to grip on the hunter’s shoulder as the two struggled again, hissing at their injure bodies, but they kept on beating each other with the hunter protecting his eyes as Jenny started pecking around his face and head as the turkey spit up more blood as the hunter kept on beating her stomach, as Jenny still felt herself being pushed onto her sink. Hunter: Here, you want this knife back…?! He firmly grasped and yanked the back of Jenny’s head right before the turkey felt her heart stopping for a short while as the hunter smirks upon seeing her eyes growing big the moment he worked fast and managed to plunge that knife into her stomach! Jenny: *C-COUGH COUGH* Unngh! The hunter could feel Jenny’s strength weakening within each second. Blood was streaming down from her beak as Jenny was doing all she could to stay on her feet while holding onto the sink. With little vision she had left, she opened her eyes and stared right at the hunter as she noticed her slash from earlier has also made a nice enough cut to where he started bleeding out too. Hunter (Panting): Nowhere left to run… Mmphh… You can either try and fight back… *Pant pant* Or you can just bleed out and I might find it within me to call the guard before you die… Jenny (Panting): Heh… Coming from the same hunter… That tried to shoot me earlier. Just as Jenny was getting up, the hunter kicked on that end of that knife deeper into her stomach, making Jenny still cough up blood as she felt herself being picked up, only for the hunter to bash her head on the sink! Jenny: Nnghhh…! Hunter (Panting): First off, you were the one that opened the door. If you had just hidden somewhere, it’s possible I wouldn’t even have bothered to come in, but I guess I can’t blame you for being cautious. He began to lift Jenny up by her head as he pushed her back towards the edge of the sink. Hunter (Panting): I’ll admit, the only reason I’m bothering to continue this fight is because you had my interest the moment you dodged most of my shots. Only a few have managed to do so and your fighting skills are not too bad. I’ll give you credit for knowing what weapon to use and for staying on your talons the whole time during this hunt. If you still plan on fighting until the end, then show me more of that quick thinking! Jenny: Nngghh…! *Smirking* Just r-remember… *Cough* You asked for this…! While Jenny felt herself getting lifted onto the edge of the sink, she quickly remembered that other knife that was inside. She was able to find it as she quickly grips and gives the hunter a nasty cut right on his neck, that finally made the human stumble back as he felt the room spinning. Blood was just running down on that neck and onto his left hand as he held it! With so much blood lost, Jenny watched the human falling onto the floor on his knees as Jenny grunts and felt her body weakening as well, but with much strength as she had left, she dropped the knife on the floor and walks over right behind hunter and she placed the her left talon on the back of his head as the hunter screamed again from feeling that sharp claw digging into his scalp! He tries to elbow the knife deeper, but Jenny manages to dodge that elbow just in the nick of time! She then proceeded to pick up the hunter by his hair, and still grunting, she summoned her strength to lift and toss the hunter right onto her dishrack, breaking as many plates over his face as glass flew across the cabin! The hunter managed to find one of the shards close to him as he quickly turned and was aiming to slash the broken piece somewhere around Jenny, which he managed to do so as Jenny hissed when she felt the shard cutting her wounded left shoulder! She held that shoulder and saw how injured the hunter was himself. His face had several cuts from the glass shards. The two noticed the kitchen knife was still on the floor. They stared down at each other before Jenny was getting ready to grab the knife, but the Hunter, ignoring his injuries, rushes on over to kick on that knife still in Jenny’s stomach as the turkey felt her vision going again once the hunter lifted and slammed the turkey on the table! The sudden force of their bodies, causing two of the legs to break as the hunters fell and rolled off the table! The hunter managed to get up before Jenny as the turkey suddenly started gasping again for air once the hunter placed his hard boot firmly onto her neck! Already, her face was turning blue, more blood escaped her mouth, and her eyes were fading away. She felt the hunter pushing that boot deeper onto her neck as Jenny was struggling to keep her body alive! Jenny: *Gasping* *COUGH COUGH* Hunter (Panting): Anything you want to say, before you die? The hunter got a little cocky as he removed just a little of his boot from Jenny’s neck. The turkey turned her head and saw how close she was towards the kitchen knife. Jenny (Panting): *COUGH* I do… Thinking fast, Jenny hissed as she moved both of her legs and slashed open a nice wound right through the hunter’s shirt and into his stomach, causing the hunter to be at such a loss for words that he couldn’t even scream! Those talons almost clean that shirt right off the hunter and you can see the markings Jenny just left! With the hunter distracted for as long as Jenny needed, she had to quickly summon another of her strength to crawl and grab that knife as she slowly tried to get on her knees and make a stab just deep enough into the human’s stomach right where Jenny just slashed him! The human’s knees finally gave weight and he dropped to the floor, just also trying to stay alive for a little longer. Jenny: *Huff* Care to die with me…? The hunter turned and just stared right into Jenny’s proud smirk. Jenny (Panting): Even after all that’s happened, did you really think I would give up THAT easily…? The two just stared directly at each other, at this point the stab wound has left both hunters weak enough to where they can’t even stand anymore, no matter how much they try and lift their legs. Now it was just a question on who was going to die first. The hunter just looked straight into Jenny’s eyes, and then he started to let out a weak chuckle as Jenny watched his right hand moving towards her neck, looking to strangle her as he focused his attention back to the turkey. Hunter (Chuckling): You’re really something… *Cough* I feel bad that I have to end your life right now, but at the sametime this was a hunt worth dying for. Jenny coughs from the strangulation, but with the hunter also weakening from the blood loss, Jenny was able to lift her body and headlock the hunter with her tight grip as the hunter felt his life slowly slipping away from the way that arm was opening his wound on his neck. Jenny: Nnnghh… You weren’t too bad yourself, though maybe you should have just taken me down instead of giving me too many open moments to defend myself. As the two hunters were entering their final struggle, Jenny felt the human getting weak enough to where he was beginning to lose his grip on Jenny’s neck. Jenny found at least one last strength from her right knee to kick the knife in deeper as she felt the hunter spitting up blood on her chest. The two hunters felt themselves getting dragged onto the floor, with Jenny now having the hunter in front of her as she kept that chokehold going to see the hunter still struggling, but he wasn’t putting up much of a fight anymore. He looked straight into Jenny’s eyes before he felt a sudden movement from his left arm. Jenny began to feel something being wrapped around her own neck. She was at a point where her body was easily pulled over towards the hunter as she gasped her last breath once the hunter got a chokehold around Jenny’s own neck. The hunter felt his other arm moving towards Jenny’s head, as Jenny kept on trying to keep her own grip around the hunter’s neck, but she even felt that getting weak as the hunter’s grip was much stronger. Jenny: *co-cough* *cough cough* Ugh… Hunter (Panting): Once again… Any last words? Jenny (Panting): *cough* o-o-once again… mmph… care do… join me…? The hunter looked below to see Jenny grabbing the edge of the pocket knife that was still in her stomach. With some heavy breathing, the hunter looked straight at Jenny's weak eyes as the turkey felt that arm squeezing her neck to where it could easily be snapped. Hunty: On three…? Jenny: *Nods her head* one… The turkey grunted as slowly pulled the blade out and felt her body slipping away quicker now that the blood was free to come out. Hunter: two… The hunter also felt his grip weakening with the way his blood was almost all gone from his body. He looked at the knife as Jenny managed to move it towards her other hand to where the hunter felt the blade was right close to his back. Hunter and Jenny: three! The hunter quickly tightened his grip and held Jenny’s head as tight as he could, but Jenny was able to see one last victory when she stabbed the bloody pocket knife right into the hunter’s back as she was almost close to getting his heart! The hunter’s eyes widened and he began to spit up a large amount of blood as he turned to see Jenny slipping away with that smirk still plastered on her face. The hunter summoned up his last known strength and he gripped onto Jenny’s head and neck before he finally heard a fatal crack and just like that, Jenny was now dead. The hunter was slowly losing his own vision as his own body went numb when he removed his grip. He tried to turn his head to look at Jenny, but she was too blurry for the hunter to see clearly. The male human was also slowly losing his own life until he fell onto the floor with Jenny. His body laid on top of the turkey as blood kept running onto the floor, but both hunters were now dead. It took about a few hours until a guard came into the cabin and saw the dead bodies of Jenny and the hunter lying on the ground. The government of both species were made aware of this, so they sent in some paramedics to help clean the bodies, as the other guards came in to clean the cabin and took the guns away. Once the families of both parties were made aware of the news, they held a proper funeral for both Jenny and the hunter. Both Jenny’s parents met with the hunter’s parents, paying their respects to each other, until it was time to bury them. Everyone agreed that both of these fine species did their best this season and they will be dearly missed, but that’s just how hunting season now works in the world.
