Making Waves “Did we really just get away with-?” she heard behind her as Wave ate the tasty, tasty meat. One of the men shushed the other “Don’t jinx us!” he hissed. “Do you know how much money one of those goes for-?!” “Both of you shut it!” One of the men up front barked back. “Just keep the little darlin’ calm and once we arrive - we’ll get our money and head back to the bar.” “Pfft, yeah - the sand bar~” The sound of a smack could be heard as Wave lifted her head, the bone in her teeth as she looked around for something else to bite. Shaking her head, she dislodged the bone, sending it into the group of three males in the back, with one of them going “Ow!” A delectable scent suddenly wafted into her nose. “Id hid by dose!” “Hey! You’re bleeding.” Wave turned toward the trio, her tail wagging side-to-side as she approached, teeth bared. The bone was laying on one of the men’s lap with crimson dripping onto the white object. Crouching her front down, she shook her little backside, and leaped forward in a pounce, only to flop onto her abdomen and curled up to sleep, the warbling sounds of the males unrecognizable as she succumbed to the drug-tainted meat. -=#=[8 hours later]=#=- Strange sounds reverberated in her drug-addled mind, the soft grinding of some strange textures rubbing together, the warbling of some distant creature she barely understood, and of course the sounds from one of the people that brought her to this strange object. Thankfully, her skin was moist due to a blanket that had been doused in several gallons of water delivering moisture directly to her skin. “You know, she’s kind of cute when she’s asleep and not trying to bite my dick off.” The second voice laughed “You wouldn’t be losing much-” “Oh, fuck off!” “Um - guys - the tail… is moving…” Wave opened her eyes to see the three males in the back with her. Her body shook, letting the blanket slide off as she stalked forward. “Good girl. Nice girl.” Still smelling that delectable aroma from one of the males, she focused on him, and licked her upper lip. “Um, guys - help!” He barely had any time before the little shark lunged, he did manage to slightly dodge, but that only sent him into the wall of the van, giving him a headache. “Come on, girl, come on!” one male called out, only for him to go “The fuck am I doing?!” when she turned her head to look at him. It did distract her long enough for the male to slide more away from the shark, but now she was on the prowl, her lips spreading open to reveal row upon row of pointed, pearly white, teeth. “Fuck! ME!” he called out as she rushed forward, no longer caring to prepare for a pounce, and opened her mouth to bite, but he moved too fast and she latched onto something hard. With a shake of her head, the door flew open, and she let go once the van’s wall impacted the side of her face. Shaking her head a little to readjust, she turned to the male who dodged her, and opened her mouth to bite down, only to miss when he held up the bone. Her jaws snapped three times on the bone, shattering it, but allowing him to move out of the way. A growl grew deep in her chest, of frustration and anger at being denied her pound of flesh - well, maybe two or three pounds - from the people who had taken her from her home. Glaring at the male, she spit out the bone to the side and approached, her eyes narrowed menacingly while one of the males grabbed her tail. Spinning her head around, she tried snapping at him, but kept missing as he moved out of her reach. Too much chaos happened for her to follow until she was able to shake off the annoyance on her tail, and reacquired her original target. A snarl left her mouth as she went back into her pounce position, the man stood on shaky legs, and looked back at the open doorway. “Dun, dun,” she muttered, “dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, - duh, duh, lunge!” (obvious “Jaws” reference was obvious) Wave lunged, her mouth open, eyes rolled back - which is why she didn’t see the male drop to the ground. Her pounce sent her flying out of the van, over the edge of the bridge, and into the water of Old Piney Lake. She was easily fifteen feet down into the river when her eyes returned to normal, and she looked up. ‘Now how am I supposed to get fed-?’ The thought hadn’t even fully coalesced when a large catfish the size of her body, swam by, clearly unaware of the danger. “Fishy!” A moment later, Wave ate well. “Off to find more fishies!” Back in the van, the door closed, and the one that had nearly gotten a bite taken out of his hide, shivered. “We are never doing this again!” “Agreed!” came the unanimous response as they drove past a sign that read “Now entering the Old Piney Woods” with someone spray painting “home of the Piney Woods Demon” underneath in dripping red paint. -=#=[Morning - the next day]=#=- Ears flickered as the cool morning gave way to daylight coming over the horizon, the black and light blue, feline-like dragon’s tail twitched as it’s leafy ears rotated slowly around like a Caracal’s while the tail tip opened up, a bit of honey-sweetened dew dripping out when a hummingbird flew close, flicking its tongue at the liquid. Somewhere in the forest a bird warbled out a greeting to the sun, letting the forest know it was time to wake up. Her nose twitched as the scent of pine wafted across, making her nose wrinkle. She rolled over to stretch, only to have a splash open up her eyes. Blinking the sleep out, a sight caused the dragoness to cock her head to the side. A massive catfish swam up, hitting something out of the water - the object in question was sandy on one section and blue on another, a long tail, and something like fur on the head - and it was tumbling end over end with all four appendages stretched out with its tail curling up. Blinking twice, the dragon watched as the strange creature fell back into the water with a loud SPLASH, before the oversized catfish started slowly swimming toward Waves. Uncoiling from its branch, the dragon slithered its way down the tree, weaving around branch after branch until it landed on the pine needle covered ground. Stalking toward the water’s edge, the dragon slipped underwater with the intention of seeing just what was going on in her territory. The murkiness of the lake barely allowed the dragon to see little more than five feet ahead of her, but the feel of the water’s movements, and the sounds reverberating led her in a specific direction. Swimming downward gave her a sight to behold - a long, shark creature was being pursued by a massive catfish. She twisted into a corkscrew, her maw opening up with her pupils turning into slits. A second later, and the catfish disappeared from behind Ocean Waves, the river monster having been taken out by a superior predator. The shark creature moved left to right, in a vain attempt at looking for the fish that had been harassing her, the slight wiggle of her tail, sending her spinning around for a little bit before moving back the way she had come. At least, she thought she was going back the way she came - after all, she was sure she recognized that speck of algae - or was that supposed to be over there? Something down below caused her to change her trajectory, a dark shadow, a shape she had never seen before, so she wanted to explore. As she drew close, it was obvious this thing was wholly new, it was tall, a massive structure people called a church, composed of limestone and brick, with the wooden windows and doors completely rotted away. More structures could be seen as she swam close, but only the stone foundations, and maybe a few bricks that formed stairs going up. Landing on one, she leaned in, as if sniffing the ground to get a good idea of what was going on, only to feel something pierce her from behind - filling an area that had never once felt anything so large inside. She twisted as pain spiked from her neck. Teeth cut into her dermal denticles acted like armored flesh, but these teeth easily touched a nerve she never knew she had. Her hips moved, shifted, as if trying its best to expel the invader from her untested slit, a futile gesture as the dragon snarled, its hips moving forward until her ovipositor impacted the entrance to her womb. Ocean Waves opened her mouth to shout something, but the feel of something filling her tunnel, letting the untested passage flutter around the gel-filled egg.The dragon let go of the neck long enough to snarl at the invader of her lake, sending a second, then third egg into her heated passage. The dragon pulled out, one of the eggs floating out, being expelled from the overstuffed passage, before the dragon moved her hips forward again, and plunged its ovipositor into her rear entrance. Ocean Wave’s eyes went wide, her mouth open in a silent scream of protest as the dragon thrust in as deep as she could go, depositing another quartet of eggs into the much deeper tunnel. Pulling out after the last one, she watched with a hint of satisfaction that the rear passage closed up, only to have her newly violated subordinate take a snapping bite at her as she swam past. She would have to punish the little creature later for such impertinence, but for now, she needed a nap - and maybe to finish eating the rest of that catfish. She wasn’t sure why “Big Tim” went after the little shark creature, but at least it gave her a momentary - if not altogether unpleasant - distraction. As the dragon swam away, Ocean Waves swam around in a circle, trying to understand what just happened, and why her entire back half hurt so much. Upon seeing a small, round globe, she snapped at it out of both frustration and curiosity. It didn’t taste bad, but it didn’t taste like any meat she had ever tried. A shiver of revulsion coursed down her body as she continued on her way - trying to shake off the strange sensations now coursing through her body.
