This bull terrier has just sold himself into pethood, and like all good owners should do, he is taken promptly to the vet. His underwear is lowered for the vaccinations and will come off entirely for the exam itself, allowing vet, assistant, and owner to visually assess every inch of his health. Of course, pet dogs in society don't need clothes, so it is doubtful he will ever be covering himself back up with anything but a permanently affixed collar.
This is the first time the owner has seen the dog in his entirety, and they talk about his anatomy as he undresses. Discussion turns silent for a moment when his underwear comes down and everyone takes a look at his genitals, henceforth to be bared to the world. As the vet is sure to bring up, the owner will have to decide whether to address the too-tight foreskin as well as the veins around his left testicle. Since he is not to be used for breeding, reproductive issues are likely of minimal concern, but they will confirm firsthand that the phimosis does not interfere with urination.
His body appears otherwise in excellent health, although it will be thoroughly evaluated from maw to paw. But first, to finish these shots. 💉
