I was “born” April 7th, 2003 in Metro City, Japan. By “born” I mean I was given power and everything went “hot”...I am after all somewhat of a miniature nuclear reactor. I’m the product of tragedy, guilt, un-finished hopes and dreams and a big mistake. Wow….starting out with a happy theme aren’t I?\n\n My creator is Doctor Taro Uma Tenma, one of the greatest robotics engineers of the age...I know, some people are probably laughing at that because right now he’s…..well…..he’s not doing well….ok…...sigh…..he’s bat shit crazy in a treatment center…..I think?\n\n Doctor Tenma was the leader in Japanese robotic science and he started out actually doing good for Japan. See….by 2013, Japan was in big trouble because the birth rates were crashing. Not enough Japanese were being born to maintain the country’s society, industry, capital and military structure so more and more Japan depended on robots to fill the gaps and keep the country running. I was to be the military arm of the Self Defense Force, I was originally designed to be a weapon. Once again….I really, really hate the Terminator movies.\n\n Then one day….Tenma lost his only son. To begin with, he wasn’t a very good father, in fact he was a lousy father. So consumed was Doctor Tenma with all his work? He neglected his own son Tobio. One day….Tobio got into an experimental car, drive it towards Ayase City and had a “head on” with a heavy duty freight Bento truck. He died hours later in a hospital.\n\n So in his grief and absolutely misguided mind...wow, does this sound like I wanted to be aborted or what? So in his grief and absolutely misguided mind… Doctor Tenma built me from those weapons plans which later….got stolen. Now guess where those ended up? In Doctor Tenma’s mind...Tobio had come back in computer chips, wires, armor and a robot he armed with guns in his hips.\n\n Yes….my two guns are in my hips ok? They’re not in my ass, I know all the stories about them and they’re wrong….they’re “hip” guns people. Though the quasi movie made of my life in 2013 was hilarious because I did for a time wonder why the hell Tenma put those guns on me like that. Perhaps they’re “rear defense weapons systems” against “unwanted intrusion” I’m trying to be a little funny ok? I wasn’t built to be a comedic genius.\n\n After some time….Tenma began to realize he’d made a big mistake. I wasn’t going to be a perfect replacement for Tobio. Sometimes I way over-performed and other times I way under-whelmed Tenma’s expectations. That’s when the abuse started. He went from verbal abuse to horrible physical violence, not that he couldn’t do any real damage to me if he tried but he did more to me “mentally” and eventually he resorted to shocking me with this spiked ring device which did some real damage to my insides. Eventually he deactivated me and threw me on a scrap pile to be smelted. Yeah….he wasn’t nice.\n\n But Doctor O’Shay was nice. He and Tenma go back to childhood and when he found out what Tenma did with me? He rescued me and turned me back on. I’ve been with him ever since. That’s been a good life.\n\n Atlas was “born” about a year after me. Those details? I’d rather keep to ourselves. Atlas had genitalia before I did and he was built at the whims of my arch nemesis...this isn’t a Disney film people, Skunk Kusai is no funny Disney villain, he’s a real ass hole. Atlas was built for his gang “with genitals” now I’ll leave the rest for you to think about. And you wonder why Atlas hates humans with a blood streak? \n\n There’s a big difference between Atlas and how he reacted to his treatment by Skunk’s gang and how I reacted to being abused by Tenma. No...sex wasn’t it. Atlas and I have two different “programming bases” what Inspector Mutoko Kusinagi in Ghost in the Shell calls “A Ghost” and what some in the robotics field describe as a “computer soul”.\n\n In my case, I have what’s called Cocoro. It’s a “hard wired” program designed to give me a way to respond to situations with appropriate feelings or emotions. In my case when it comes to emotions, there’s a limiting governor in the program which dials me back so I don’t do something out of control because I get emotionally upset. Like….say I see a car hit an animal and the driver doesn’t care and keeps going, I will get pretty upset and if I didn’t have Cocoro? I just might chase down the car, destroy same car and kill the driver. I am powerful enough to crush an M-1 Abrams tank like a beer can. You really don’t want a robot with that much power who loses himself over a poor cat or dog. \n\n In Atlas’s case? He has what’s called “The Omega Factor” where there are no limits on his emotions, he feels everything in brutal, blunt force. Once again, he was built for Skunk Kusai’s gang...you use your mind. Atlas is totally able to kill, though thankfully he never has killed a human, he’s beaten up more than a few to prove he’s dangerous. This makes our relationship with each other a “little skittish” but there’s more to come with that.\n\n I have a little sister, Zoran. Doctor O’Shay thought I needed some family structure, a little responsibility and more experience in interaction with diverse characters….yeah…..sometimes I think he built Zoran for a comedy reality show. Not that I don’t love my kid sister, I adore her to death….which might be a positive or a negative, I’m not sure. I’d say she’s “Gender fluid” or “Emotionally stormy” and prone to flipping like a MacDonald’s burger. I don’t know if she’s going to be a “Tom boy” the next second, a radical feminist the second after that, drooling over Atlas’s picture seconds after that or calling me a club swinging, dirty cave dwelling boy five minutes from now. But I love her….I really do….but if the Doctor made her to test me? I flunk big brother 101 and I honestly need to cheat more.\n\n I am expensive….yes as a robot and a ward of the Ministry of Science, I do have an operational budget, a maintenance budget, a power bill and a Ministry expense credit card to pay every month. I wasn’t built for free and I’m not cheep. Atlas’s favorite thing to say every time I go on some jaunt for the ministry is….\n\n“How much are they whoring you out for this time?”\n\n To pay my expenses, I do grant work for the Ministry all over the world. Just call me a plastic Steve Erwin, Jacques Cousteau and Marlin Perkins only I’m also the poor sap old Marlin used to throw at Wilder beasts from flying helicopters. I get my butt beat up a lot for science which just throws Atlas into a pissy mood.. more because of the separation time between us and he thinks everything I do for the Doctor and the Ministry amounts to a “gang rape” against me. Once again, I am expensive...you could have paid for a new Navy destroyer for the cost of the five years Atlas spent beating the shit out of me all over the city. And you might think Rocky had things bad with Apollo Creed?\n\n My “best us” friend in the whole world, my flesh and blood brother, the other boy I love in my life….though he isn’t gay…..is Reno Takahashi, whom the Doctor adopted to personally take care of me because Reno is the absolute wizard of robotics….Harry Potter? Part 1:  The  beginning[/center]

     I guess I should start at the very beginning, I decided I shouldn’t take like “War and Peace” since people can find everything basic about me on line anyways. I was “born” April 7th, 2003 in Metro City, Japan. By “born” I mean I was given power and everything went “hot”...I am after all somewhat of a miniature nuclear reactor.
