The future had once again been taken from us by the humans.” Asgore clenched his fist into the ground. “In a fit of anger, I declared war. I said I would destroy any human that came here. I would use their souls to become godlike and free us from this terrible prison. Then, I would destroy humanity and let monsters rule the surface, in peace.”\nThe girls remained silent as he continued speaking.\n“Soon, the people’s hopes returned. My wife, however, became disgusted with my actions. She left this place, never to be seen again.” Asgore fell silent for a moment. “Truthfully I don’t want power. I do not want to hurt anyone. I just wanted everyone to have hope… But… I cannot take this any longer. I just want to see my wife. I just want to see my child.” He fell silent again for a moment. “Please… young people… This war has gone on long enough. You have the power. Take my soul, and let the human leave this cursed place.”\nEris closed her eyes at that moment, clenching her fists. This monster before her was no king or tyrant. He was just another victim of a tragic story, forced into a role he could no longer bear to play. And now he was willing to throw it all away just to get it all over with.\nEris gritted her teeth and raised one of her arms, reluctantly ready to take his life. But before she could throw her punch, she felt a hand grab one of her lowered arms.\nEris opened her eyes and saw the human holding her hand, looking at her in pity, as he shook his head. Then everything became clear. The human didn't want to continue with this. He didn't want blood to be shed. Not for him.\nAfter hesitating for a long moment, Eris turned around, walking away from Asgore and the human, the monster remaining silent for a moment.\n“After everything I have done to hurt you… Would you rather stay here and suffer than live happily on the surface?”\n“It’s very clear,” Eris said, crossing her arms. “The human doesn’t want any more suffering because of him. So accept his decision, understand?”\nAsgore looked at the human in amazement as he looked at him with a smile.\n“Human… I promise you … for as long as you remain here… My wife and I will take care of you as best we can.” Asgore began. “We can sit in the living room, telling stories… Eating butterscotch pie… We could be like… Like a family…” Asgore said with a smile on his face.\nThe girls began to look at both of them in relief, while Eris continued to turn her back on them.\nBut then Asgore closed his eyes sadly.\n“No. That’s just a fantasy, isn’t it?” Asgore said.\nThe group looked at the duo with regret at that moment.\n“Young one, when I look at you…” Asgore stared at the human. “I’m reminded of the human that fell here long ago… You have the same feeling of hope in your eyes.”\n“There is an ancient prophecy among our people. One day, a savior will come from the heavens,” Asgore said. “…I believe the one that was prophesied was you. Somewhere in the world outside… There must be a way to free us from this prison.”\nAsgore closed his eyes. “It pains me to give you this responsibility, but… Please. Take my soul... and seek the truth.” Asgore looked away.\n“If that is the case… allow me to help you with the task.”\nEris's eyes widened, and she turned around at the sound of that voice. The human, seeing who spoke, began to back away in fear, finally placing himself behind the group, while the rest watched in fear.\nDrakath was approaching Asgore until he ended up behind him, holding his trident with both hands.\n“Drakath…” Asgore said without looking behind him.\n“If this is going to be your end, let me handle it myself,” Drakath said, raising the trident in both hands, as the group debated whether or not to stop Drakath.\nAsgore said nothing until he laughed weakly. “I’m sorry… I couldn't give you a simple, happy ending… But I believe your freedom… is what my son… what Asriel would have wanted.”\nDrakath prepared himself to attack Asgore with his own weapon.\n“By the way,” Asgore said suddenly. “I’ve seen the videos… I’ve seen what you’ve done… and I can only say one thing… as soon as this is over… you’re fired.”\nDrakath looked at Asgore with disgust.\n“Then allow me to tell you, Your Highness… I sincerely dislike you,” Drakath said.\nAt that moment, Drakath launched his murderous attack against Asgore, while the latter had his eyes closed, resigned to his fate. But without warning, a pair of fireballs passed through the middle of the group, catching the attention of both of them, who, without any chance of avoiding it, both fireballs hit both Asgore and Drakath, sending them flying. The former fell to the ground on his back, and the latter crashed into the barrier before falling face-first to the ground.\nThe girls were confused by what had suddenly happened, without any warning. The human was also confused until he noticed something hugging him from behind.\n“What a miserable creature, torturing such a poor, innocent, youth… Do not be afraid, my child.”\nThe human looked up to see who it was, his face lighting up. The girls turned around, seeing who it was.\n“Toriel!” Everyone exclaimed at the sight, the monster woman smiling at the girls.\n“But what are you doing here?” Noka asked.\n“You see, at first, I thought I would let you make your journey alone… But I could not stop worrying about you.” Toriel looked at the human. “Your adventure must have been so treacherous.”\n“Well, it hasn’t been a walk in the park, obviously,” Nami said, scratching her head.\n“Yes… But ultimately, it would burden you with a horrible choice,” Toriel said, looking away.\n“Yes, we know,” Eris said. “But the human has decided not to go through with it.”\nToriel smiled at the human. “That was very brave, my boy.”\nAsgore groaned from the blow, but he slowly began to rise to his feet, looking at Toriel.\n“Tori… You came back!” Asgore exclaimed with a smile.\n“Do not ‘Tori’ me, Dreemurr!” Toriel exclaimed, advancing towards Asgore, standing before him.\n“Great, as if we weren’t enough here…” Drakath said with his head raised and a hand on his skull.\n“And you shut it!” Toriel exclaimed, glaring at Drakath. “Coming here, I learned everything you’ve done. When I’m done with him, I’ll be dealing with you!”\nAfter those harsh words, Drakath lay on the ground.\n“Hey, one thing,” Nami said. “Aren’t you thinking the same thing I am?”\n“So maybe Toriel is Asgore’s wife?” Noka asked. “That would explain a lot.”\nToriel then looked at Asgore. “You pathetic whelp. If you really wanted to free our kind… You could have gone through the barrier after you got ONE SOUL… taken six souls from the humans, then come back and freed everyone peacefully. But instead, you made everyone live in despair… Because you would rather wait here, meekly hoping another human never comes.”\nThe girls looked at both of them for a moment until they realized that what Toriel had just said made sense.\n“...Tori… You’re right…” Asgore said sadly, his eyes closed. “I’m a miserable creature… but do you think we can at least be friends again?”\nToriel sighed deeply. “No, Asgore.” She replied coldly, causing Asgore’s face to turn teary.\n“I don’t think it was necessary to be that cold,” Catilia commented to Gida.\n“Ngahhhhhh!!!” Undyne exclaimed as she appeared, exhilarating the group. “Asgore! Human!! Nobody fight each other!!! Everyone’s gonna make friends, or else I’ll…!!”\nObviously, Undyne intended to fight the fight, but she soon realized that there was no fight left, noticing Toriel's presence.\n“Hi. I’m Toriel.” She introduced herself. “Are you the human’s friend? It is nice to meet you.”\n“Uh, yeah…?” Undyne asked, confused for a moment. “Nice to meet you!” At that moment, Undyne approached Asgore. “Hey, Asgore, is that your ex?” She asked Asgore, who closed his eyes. “Geez. That’s rough, buddy.”\nEris shook her head at that moment.\n“H-hey! Nobody hurt each other!!” Alphys exclaimed as she appeared in the room, but she soon realized there was no fight. Nami put her hand to her face, shaking her head.\n“Oh! Are you another friend?” Toriel asked when she saw Alphys. “I’m Toriel. Hello!”\n“Uh, h-h-hi!” Alphys exclaimed, wondering if there were two of them like Asgore now.\n“HEY! NOBODY FIGHT ANYONE!” Papyrus exclaimed as he appeared.\n“NO ONE IS FIGHTING WITH ANYONE!” the girls in the group exclaimed to the skeleton.\n“OH, OKAY…” Papyrus said.\n“Hello!” Toriel greeted Papyrus, catching his attention.\n“OH! HELLO, YOUR MAJESTY!” Papyrus said to Toriel, before addressing the human. “PSST! HEY, HUMAN… DID ASGORE SHAVE…? AND… CLONE HIMSELF???”\nBoth the human and the girls were about to collapse on the ground because of Papyrus's stupidity.\nAt that moment, Sans approached everyone.\n“hey guys… what’s up?” Sans asked.\n“That voice…!!” Toriel exclaimed upon hearing Sans’s voice as he approached. “Hello, I think we may… Know each other?”\nEveryone stared in shock at Toriel and Sans.\n“oh, hey… i recognize your voice, too.” Sans said.\n“I am Toriel. So nice to meet you.” Toriel introduced herself.\n“the name’s sans. and, uh, same.” Sans said.\n“Oh! Wait, then…” Toriel looked at Papyrus. “This must be your brother, Papyrus! Greetings, Papyrus!” Toriel said, making Papyrus blush. “It is so nice to finally meet you! Your brother has told me so much about you.”\n“WOWIE… I CAN’T BELIEVE ASGORE’S CLONE KNOWS WHO I AM!! THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!!”\nCatilia put her hand to her face while Noka shrugged.\n“Hey, Papyrus…” Toriel began. “What does a skeleton tile his roof with?”\n“HMMM… SNOW-PROOF ROOF TILES???” Papyrus asked.\n“No, silly! The skeleton tiles his roof with… SHIN-gles!!!” Papyrus’s eyes widened.\n“I CHANGED MY MIND!!! THIS IS THE WORST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!” Papyrus exclaimed.\n“If the woman tells jokes as bad as the skeleton, we’re in trouble,” Nami said to Eris, who scratched her head.\nWhile everyone was distracted getting to know each other and solving some mutual problems, Drakath took the opportunity to approach the capsules containing the souls to try to seize them. And if he couldn't get hold of them all, he simply had to take one soul and follow the plan suggested by Toriel. Only Eris and the others were quick enough to avoid the attacking plants and protect the human.\nJust at that moment, the last actor on stage made his appearance: Flowey.\n“You IDIOTS,” said the talking flower. “While you were having your little pow-wow, I took the human souls! And now, not only are THOSE under my power… But all of your friends’ souls are gonna be mine, too!”\n“Flowey, you damned treacherous plant!” Flowey approached Drakath, who was also bound by the brambles. “You cursed grass-spawn! Why the hell are you doing all this?” Eris asked.\n“Why do I do this? It’s simple. Because this is all just a game,” Flowey said.\n“A game? Seriously?” Gida asked.\n“Yes. And if I let Chara leave the underground satisfied, then he’ll ‘win’ the game,” Flowey said. “If he ‘wins,’ he won’t want to ‘play’ with me anymore.”\n“As if anyone wanted to play with you!” Eris exclaimed. “What do we have to do to make you stop being such a maniacal idiot for a second?”\n“What do you have to do?” Flowey smiled maliciously. “Simple. If you do defeat me, I’ll give you your ‘happy ending.’ I’ll bring your friends back. I’ll destroy the barrier. But that WON’T happen.”\nAt that moment, Flowey began summoning sharp petals against the group, throwing them at them. The girls began blocking the petals as best they could, preventing them from reaching the human, who was Flowey's target, while he laughed like a complete lunatic. He then summoned such an abysmal amount of petals that it would be impossible to block them all, as they were thrown at them at the same time. YOU CAN WIN!!” Papyrus exclaimed. “JUST DO WHAT I WOULD DO… BELIEVE IN YOU!!”\n“Hey! Beast! If you got past me, you can do anything!” Undyne said with a smile. “So don’t worry! We’re with you all the way!”\n“huh? you haven't beaten this guy yet?” Sans asked. “Come on, this weirdo got nothin’ on you.”\nFlowey launched more attacks, but this time an electric field and a curtain of flames blocked the attack, exasperating Flowey.\n“Technically, it’s impossible for you to beat him…” Alphys said. “B-but… Somehow, I know you can do it!”\n“Human, girls, for the future of humans and monsters…! The group gathered around the human to protect him as the aura expanded further and swallowed them, closing their eyes as everything went white.\n\nWhen the girls and the human opened their eyes, they were somewhere very different. They didn't know where they were. They just stood on some kind of wide platform.\n“Where are we?” the human asked, looking around.\nAt that moment, Eris looked down at the ground, seeing a drawing she recognized from before. The ground with yellow flowers painted on it.\n“People, I’ve been here before,” Eris said.\n“And what is this place?” Noka asked.\nThen Eris's mind clicked, frowning.\n“Girls, I think we’re in a Dive into the Heart,” Eris said.\n“Really?” Nami asked, looking around. “It certainly is.”\n“Hey, if we’re in someone’s heart, the question here is whose?” Gida asked.\nInstinctively, Eris directed her gaze in one direction, as everyone else did at once. Wherever they looked, they found a monster resembling a young goat with white fur, dressed in a green shirt with yellow stripes and black pants. The boy looked around for a moment, clenching his fists for a second before chuckling softly.\n“Finally,” said the boy. “I was so tired of being a flower.”\nEris frowned. This child must be Flowey. Or, in that case, the monster he must have been before he turned into a flower.\nThen he turned around, looking at the group, opening his eyes with a smile.\n“Howdy!” the boy said, looking at the human. “Chara, are you there? It’s me, your best friend.”\nAt that moment, there was a flash, and the boy transformed into an adult dressed in a purple robe with white sleeves, curved horns, and black-scleral eyes.\nA S R I E L D R E E M U R R\nEris prepared herself to face this powerful enemy before them. Eris immediately launched herself at him, but Asriel simply launched fireballs at her. Eris easily dodged them, striking his face hard with a punch, but Asriel barely flinched from the blow, surprising Eris.\n“What’s wrong? Aren’t you supposed to be so strong?” Asriel asked, smiling.\nEris backed away from Asriel, but then lunged at him again. This time, Asriel moved to the side, avoiding the attack, laughing calmly before raising his hands, causing enormous stars to fall from the sky, forcing the group to dodge the enormous projectiles and their explosions.\n“Okay, we have to think about what to do with this one,” Catilia said.\nEris gritted her teeth and fists, looking at Asriel.\n“You know…” Asriel began. “I don’t care about destroying this world anymore.”\nAsriel raised his hands, causing hundreds of lightning bolts to fall all over the platform, forcing everyone to move constantly again.\n“What do you intend to do, now that you’ve become this powerful?” Nami asked.\n“What will I do?” Asriel asked. “Very simple. After I’m done dealing with all this, I’ll reset everything. I’ll bring all your memories of this world to zero!”\nAsriel summoned two energy swords in his hands and began attacking Eris. She was able to dodge his swift slashes until Gida and Noka blocked his blades with their lightsabers, forcing him to retreat.\n“Honestly, I expected more from a creature said to have been created by the gods,” Asriel said, shaking his head.\n“Just you wait and see!” Eris exclaimed angrily, clenching one of her fists tightly until it began to generate a red aura. Eris violently launched herself at Asriel, punching him in the stomach and causing an explosion upon impact. But this merely caused Asriel to flinch, shaking his hand where Eris had hit, while her arm was damaged by the blow.\nAt that moment, Asriel generated a cannon on his arm, aiming at the group and starting to fire projectiles from it, forcing everyone to dodge each of his shots. In the end, he aimed at the human while charging energy into the cannon, but Catilia jumped and slashed the cannon with her sword, causing it to fire elsewhere.\n“Tell me, ‘Servant,’ how does it feel to have a pulse and life, despite being only a dead echo from a long distant past?” Asriel asked Catilia.\n“Just wait, this echo will leave you deaf when it’s done with you,” Catilia said, starting to swing her sword at Asriel, who managed to dodge it without any problems.\nWhile evading Catilia's attacks, Asriel raised his hands, causing more stars to begin falling from the sky, forcing everyone to dodge the attacks. Nami then generated her protective shield to protect the human from several of the falling stars.\n“And you, the 'Blade'. I'm surprised a 'weapon' can acquire sentience of its own accord so easily,” Asriel said, shaking his head.\n“Spoke he who was once a flower just moments ago,” Nami said.\nEris tried to attack Asriel from the side, hitting him with all her might, but unfortunately, she only achieved the same result as before, and now she had another damaged arm.\n“Stop hitting him like that! It’s clearly no use!” Nami said as she ran to Eris, using the potions to heal her.\nAsriel readied his swords to strike again, but Gida pulled him towards her and Noka, but the three remained in a stalemate in the clash of swords.\n“And you, Jedi? I have a question, are you wizards or knights? I’ve never understood that duality,” Asriel commented, thrusting his swords with ease.\n“Someone like you would never understand,” Gida said, using the Force to push him away.\nAt that moment, Asriel began to float in the sky.\n“I’m really surprised you were able to hold out and protect Chara for so long,” Asriel said. “But of course, I’ve only been using a fraction of my real power. Do you want to see what it’s like when I use my full power?”\nThen everything began to glow, blinding Eris.\nWhen the flashing stopped, the place had changed. It was no longer the platform it had been before, but a very different, dark place. And Asriel had turned into some sort of demonic angel with enormous wings, floating in the air.\nEris looked around for the others, seeing how deep inside they were, including the human, all tied up by what looked like energy cords, preventing them from moving. The girls seemed to be unconscious, while the human struggled to free himself.\n“Impressive, isn’t it?” Asriel asked, causing Eris to turn to him. “Just a display of this power, and your friends are powerless before me. It seems your unique nature makes you immune to my pressure.”\nEris faced Asriel, clenching her fists. Her attacks might not be doing anything to him, and maybe his strongest attacks would only damage her, but Eris wasn't about to give up. Especially not to him.\n“Don’t worry, when I’m done with this, you’ll forget everything,” Asriel said.\nAsriel raised his arms, ready to launch his attack against Eris, a grimace on his face. But then Asriel's body stopped. A look of shock appeared on Asriel's face.\n“What…? What’s wrong with me?” Asriel asked.\nThen dark electricity began to run through Asriel's body, while he put his hands on his head, screaming in pain.\n“What’s happening to me?!” Asriel asked, consumed by pain.\nA small laugh began to be heard. The laugh grew louder until it turned into a sinister cackle that echoed throughout the room.\n“No matter how much power you have, you’ll always be nothing more than a stupid brat!”\nEris and Asriel's eyes widened upon hearing that voice.\n“That voice… How’s that possible?!” Asriel asked.\nAt that moment, Asriel returned to his previous form, clutching himself in pain. Then, a dark, amorphous form began to grow on Asriel's back, taking on a massive shape. Then, like an egg, the amorphous form hatched, freeing whatever was inside.\nAnd that thing was Drakath, who spread his skeletal wings while placing his hands on Asriel's head.\n“Drakath? How’s that possible?” Eris asked.\n“I’ve said it before,” Drakath said. “I am one with the darkness. Which means the only way to definitively destroy me would be to destroy the very concept of darkness. Simply put, anything done to destroy my consciousness will never work.”\nThen Drakath looked at Asriel. “You should never have absorbed me, stupid. By doing so, you gave me access to the human souls, and now I have full control over them. You tried to be a god, and now you’ll just be a battery to give me the power I need.”\nDrakath looked at the human. “But of course, I’m still in need of a seventh human soul to be omnipotent.”\n“Like hell I’ll allow it!” Eris exclaimed. “You’ll have to pass over me first!”\nDrakath laughed at Eris's words.\n“You? You’re nothing more than a freak show number!” Drakath said.\n“Freak show number?” Eris asked irritably.\n“Yes. Since when does a hellhound have four arms, or are its limbs like those of a bug?” Drakath asked. “In any case, if it's a whooping you're wanting, I will gladly grant your wish, for I now possess absolute power!”\nAt that moment, everything began to shine again, changing the landscape once again.\nThis time, Eris saw Asriel crucified on a platform of bones with dark energy binding his feet, hands, and neck. When she looked down, she saw a figure covered by two large black wings. As soon as they opened, they revealed an anthropomorphic black dragon with red eyes and a red belly, dressed in a dark gothic outfit. He stared at his hands for a moment before laughing grimly.\n“Good, very good,” the dragon said with a smile. “I was tired of being a skeleton.”\nThe dragon then turned his gaze towards Eris.\n“Now, bow down before the new lord and master of this world!”\nAt that moment, the ground beneath the dragon and Asriel rose, revealing the gigantic skull of a dragon, as well as a pair of enormous skeletal hands floating beside the skull.\nD R A K A T H\nThe right hand pointed at Eris, unleashing a torrent of flames at her, but Eris was agile enough to dodge the attack. The left hand then pointed its finger at her, immediately launching several bolts of lightning in that direction, which Eris narrowly avoided.\nWasting no time, Eris lunged toward him, giving a powerful blow against the enormous skull where Drakath and Asriel were, sending it tumbling backward with the force of the blow. But then the two hands extended, each generating a dark orb that was launched at Eris, although she barely managed to dodge it.\nEris deduced that attacking the skull while the hands were present wasn't the best course of action, so she had to consider taking care of them first. It's a shame the others weren't available at the moment.\nWith that in mind, Eris launched herself at the right hand and began hitting it as hard as she could, dodging attacks from both hands, until she managed to destroy it.\nWith her right hand out of the way, Eris focused on attacking her left hand, which was more difficult because it kept attacking with lightning. Despite all the problems, Eris managed to destroy the second hand.\nWith both hands destroyed, a pair of red glows appeared in the hollows of the enormous skull's eyes. It then opened its mouth, 'vomiting' what looked like lava that began to pool beneath the skull, forcing Eris to retreat until the attack stopped, the lava disappearing shortly after.\nEris lunged at the skull to hit it with everything she had, but had to stop when she saw the glowing eyes flash, ducking at once to avoid a pair of lasers fired from the eyes.\nThen Drakath raised his hand, and lightning suddenly began to fall all around, forcing Eris to retreat. It was clear that Drakath wouldn't let Eris get close so easily.\nFrustrated, Eris clenched her fists as energy emanated from them, making a throwing motion in frustration. “Seriously, I miss the elevators in my world,” Noka commented on the floor as she had Catilia on top of her.
“Seriously, if I catch the idiot who programmed this elevator, I’m going to beat him up before I sue him!” Eris exclaimed as she sat on the floor against the wall of the elevator, with Nami lying on her legs and the human lying on her head.
“Hey, are you okay?” Gida asked, upside down on the ground, looking at the human, who nodded.
“Come on, let’s get out of here before this elevator decides to descend right away,” Nami said, rubbing her head with one hand.
The group soon exited the elevator, finding themselves in a gray brick area they'd never seen before. As soon as they turned around for a moment to look at the elevator, they saw that the door was covered in brambles, blocking the elevator.
“Seriously, that plant is deserving of a rather violent pruning…” Eris said, looking away angrily.
The group moved down the hallway until they reached the end, where they were met with the sight of a large city that stretched beyond where they could see.
“Do you think this is New Home?” Nami asked, looking at the city.
“No doubt about it,” Noka said, peering over the edge of the pass to see how high they were at the moment.
“Come on, let’s move on. We have to find the castle,” Eris said.
The group advanced through the passage that crossed the city, remaining alert for any potential trouble or ambush they might encounter. No one present could forget that they were in the monster capital, deep underground, in enemy territory, so anything was possible.
After advancing for several minutes, they reached a path that would clearly lead them to the main palace, moving steadily forward. But when they reached the palace entrance itself, they suddenly stopped, staring at the place. And it wasn't because of the guards, for there were none.
“Hey, am I imagining these things or something?” Nami asked, her eyes wide open.
“No, you’re not imagining it,” Gida replied, shaking her head for a moment.
The group stared in amazement at the palace entrance, which, despite being a different color and missing some details, was practically identical to another place they had all seen before.
“So, does anyone want to tell me why the palace entrance looks so similar to the entrance to Toriel’s house?” Eris asked, looking at the group.
“I have no idea,” Catilia said. “Did they have the same architect?”
“I don’t think so,” Noka said, scratching her head.
The human was also confused by the resemblance.
The group entered the palace, perplexed by the interior of the building.
“Let’s see, let’s see, what happened here?” Eris asked, spreading her arms. “Did we just go back to the ruins and not realize it?”
The entire group shrugged. The whole place didn't look like a palace. It looked more like a house. A house that was practically identical to Toriel's house, except for the grayish color of the walls and furniture, as well as the large number of golden flowers planted all over the place.
“I don’t know, this is all starting to get really weird,” Catilia said, scratching her head.
“Look, we'd better leave this place before we find something else that drives us all crazy,” Nami suggested.
“Good idea,” Gida said, looking around.
The group continued through the house until they reached a hallway that led them to an outdoor area overlooking the city. It didn't take long for them to reach the interior of a massive golden room. As they made their way through this enormous hallway, they encountered a small figure in their path, one that matched Sans's appearance.
At that moment, bells rang out through the hallway as the girls stood in front of the human as a barrier.
“So you finally made it,” Sans said, his tone different from normal. “The end of your journey is at hand. In a few moments, you will meet the king. Together… you will determine the future of this world. That’s then. Now, you will be judged.”
Eris clenched one of her fists, frowning.
“You will be judged for your every action. You will be judged for every EXP you’ve earned,” Sans said.
“EXP?” Gida asked.
“What are EXPs? It’s an acronym,” Sans replied.
“An acronym?” Eris asked.
“Yes. It stands for ‘execution points',” Sans said, causing the girls to look at each other. “A way to quantify the pain you have inflicted on others. When you kill someone, your EXP increases. When you have enough EXP, your LOVE increases.”
“Let me guess. Another acronym, isn’t it?” Nami asked.
“That's right. LOVE, too, is an acronym. It stands for 'Level of Violence.' A way of measuring someone's capacity to hurt. The more you kill, the easier it becomes to distance yourself. The more you distance yourself, the less you will hurt. The more easily you can bring yourself to hurt others,” Sans explained.
Sans was silent for a moment until he started speaking.
“...but you. the only source of EXP and LOVE you've ever had came from the duke's henchmen. you've never truly harmed any of the monsters in the underground. no matter the struggles or hardships you faced, you strived to do the right thing. You refused to hurt anyone. only those 'fiends' that attacked you,” Sans explained with his signature smile.
“now.” Sans continued, “you’re about to face the greatest challenge of your entire journey. your actions here will determine the fate of the entire world. if you refuse to fight, asgore will take his soul and destroy humanity. but if you kill asgore and he returns home, monsters will remain trapped underground.”
They all frowned as the human squeezed Eris's hand in his own. Sans had just reminded them of what was at stake. That 'impossible choice.'
“You can also leave this to me.”
“wow, looks like old dark king has finally appeared. hasn’t you, duke drakath?” Sans commented, glancing back.
A large, hooded figure walked down the hallway until he stood right behind Sans. Eris frowned at him. He was the one in charge of the hunt for them. The reason those monsters had been attacking them the whole time.
The Duke. Drakath.
“Move out of the way.” The Duke said, simply kicking Sans.
The skeleton began to roll forward like a wheel until Eris stopped it, leaving it upside down.
“Are you okay?” Nami asked.
“nah, I'm fine. don't worry about me,” the skeleton said, winking.
Eris left the skeleton behind them with the human, looking at the hooded duke.
“Very well. I’m more than fed up with you.” Eris pointed at him with one of her hands. “The moment I lay a hand on you, I’m going to turn your skin pure purple!”
The duke laughed for a moment, jerking his head back so that the hood covering him was drawn back. This revealed the skull of a dragon with glowing red eyes in its sockets.
The group gasped for a moment while the human let out a small cry of fright upon seeing him.
“Okay. One, I didn’t expect that,” Eris said. “And two, are you related or something?” she asked, looking at Sans.
“do you think i look like him in any way?” Sans asked calmly.
The group turned their gaze to Drakath.
“How long have I waited for this moment. And now, I am just this far away from acquiring ultimate power,” Drakath said, making a small gesture with his skeletal hand.
“Forgive me for saying this, but I highly doubt you’ll make it,” Catilia said, drawing her sword.
“Besides, I don’t think you’re even from here, Duke,” Gida said, pointing at Drakath.
“I admit I was a bit of a liar there,” Drakath said. “No, I'm actually from another world, very different from this one.”
“i had my thoughts.” Sans interrupted.
Drakath coughed at the skeleton's interruption. "I'll spare you the details, but I was eventually destroyed physically, but I am one with the darkness, which means I cannot be permanently destroyed, and am capable of being revived."
“Let me guess, you got beaten to a pulp more than once, didn’t you?” Eris asked, leaning forward with her lower hands on her waist in a mocking tone.
Drakath frowned. “Yes, that’s right. But I always come back. And just as it happened, on one of my escapades from hell, I ended up here by chance. At first, I couldn’t leave this cursed place. After some research, I discovered the legend of the human souls and the potential they held. So I managed to convince the king to let me serve him, and he made me a Duke. Although let’s be honest, it’s obvious that from any distance that this king is as dumb as a rock.” Drakath waved his hand, glancing sideways.
“And I suppose you’ve used your monsters to maintain the population under control, haven’t you?” Gida asked.
“Right, and I’ve had a lot of fun watching everyone try to undermine my power with no success.” Drakath laughed.
“Well, you can forget about it,” Catilia said. “Alphys has proof of what you’re really like, so by now all the monsters must be fed up with you.”
“You mean that now I have to impose martial law to control everything here?” Drakath asked. “Well, that’s no problem for me. I’ve got enough henchmen for the task.”
“Oh, don’t think you’ll get that chance,” Eris said. “I’m going to smash that stupid skull of yours to bits!”
“Can females like you really defeat me? Don’t make me laugh!” Drakath exclaimed. “You’re not even close to the claws on my feet.”
“Oh, I suggest you don’t underestimate us, you pile of bones,” Eris said, taking a step forward.
“Eris, I think we should think about it a little,” Nami suggested.
Drakath 'smiled' as two enormous skeletal wings suddenly appeared from behind him, tearing through the robes. Nami looked worriedly at Drakath before turning to Eris.
“Seriously, we should think about this,” Nami said.
“Come on, if he needs so many henchmen, like trying to get his hands on human souls, doesn’t that mean he’s not as powerful as he seems?” Eris asked.
“Do you really think so?” Drakath asked, before extending his arm to the side, extending his cloak. “Then burn in hell!” Drakath exclaimed before launching a large fireball in the shape of a dragon’s head from his cloak.
Eris ran directly towards the fireball, destroying it with a single blow with one of her arms, getting close to Drakath, who was surprised by the recklessness of the infernal beast.
“It’s for Undyne!” Eris exclaimed, punching her in the head.
Drakath was nearly knocked off balance by the blow, but he teleported to another spot in the corridor, this time launching several dragon-head-shaped icicles from his cloak at Eris. However, Eris destroyed each of the icicles with two of her arms before landing near the dracolich.
“It’s for Alphys!” Eris exclaimed, punching her a second time.
Drakath stepped back from the second blow, but this time he raised his hand upwards, forming an electric orb, and at that moment dozens of lightning bolts fell to the ground, some of them falling on Eris, who closed her eyes clenching her teeth from the electric shock, but that didn't stop her and she raised one of her fists from behind.
“And this is because you're sick of me!” Eris exclaimed, connecting with a hook.
The blow to Drakath's jaw sent him flying several meters before falling to the ground. Eris breathed sharply, her fist raised, looking at Drakath, who was barely starting to get up from the last blow.
“This isn’t over yet!” Drakath exclaimed before vanishing.
Eris breathed heavily for a moment until she started to groan in pain when she felt something grab her ear.
“That was too dangerous!” Nami scolded, pulling Eris’s ear.
“that was actually really cool,” Sans said as the human nodded.
“Don’t encourage her!” Nami exclaimed before continuing to scold Eris. “Didn’t I tell you we should think about it?”
“Relax, at least we’re rid of him for now!” Eris said, one eye closed in pain.
“That’s the key words, for now!” Nami said after letting go of Eris’s ear, who rubbed it in pain. “That skeleton could attack us at any moment. And look how it went for you!”
Eris looked closely, seeing that her body was somewhat bruised from blocking the previous attacks with her arms, in addition to having received those lightning bolts full on.
“Come on, take this,” Catilia said, giving her one of the potions they had. “But be careful, we don’t have many potions left.”
“Okay, understood,” Eris replied, taking the potion and healing her wounds.
“I don’t really like this, but we should keep going,” Gida said, looking at the human, but saw that Sans had disappeared. “Hey, and Sans?”
Apparently, the little skeleton had disappeared at that time.
“Forget about him. Let’s go,” Eris said seriously, leaving the hallway with the others.

Before long, the group finally arrived at the throne room. Or what was supposed to be the throne room, as the place looked more like a vast green garden with a centerpiece of yellow flowers. There, they encountered a huge figure with his back to them, revealing only his purple cape and golden shoulder pads, along with his blond hair and two large horns. The enormous figure stood in front of a large throne, while the latter appeared to be watering the plants.
This must be the monster king they'd heard about all along. Asgore. And he was... watering the flowers?
“Dum dee dum…” the figure seemed to hum as it watered the plants.
“Um, excuse me,” Nami said politely to get his attention.
“Oh? Is someone there?” the big monster asked. “Just a moment! I have almost finished watering these flowers.” After a few moments, he finished his task. “...Here we are!”
The huge monster turned around to address the group, showing a friendly smile.
“Howdy! How can I…”
Asgore stepped back in shock at the sight of the human in the group. But at the same time, the group was shocked to see Asgore, who, from the front, looked like a white-furred Nubian goat, resembling someone they already knew.
For a few seconds, they looked at each other in silence.
“Oh,” was all Asgore said, before turning away for a moment before looking at the human. “I so badly want to say, ‘Would you like a cup of tea?’ But…” Asgore was silent for a moment. “You know how it is.”
“Yes, we know,” Catilia said.
Without answering, Asgore walked to the side of the throne room, then addressed them.
“Nice day today, huh? Birds are singing, flowers are blooming… Perfect weather for a game of catch.”
Eris closed her eyes. She wasn't seeing a tyrant or a monster. Just someone who seemed resigned to what was going to happen, whatever the outcome. As if deep down, he never wanted this to happen. She noticed this when she saw how he had tried to avoid looking the human in the eye the entire time.
Asgore remained silent before addressing them.
“You know what we must do. When you are ready, come into the next room,” Asgore said, and with those words, he left the room through the back door.
When Asgore left, the group remained silent, saying nothing. The situation was abundantly clear. Neither side wanted this, but it had to be done. Either Asgore died and the human got out, leaving the monsters trapped; or the human died and Asgore released the monsters, destroying the humans in the process. There was no middle ground.
“Come on, let’s go,” Eris said, gritting her teeth.
The group left the throne room, meeting Asgore, who, without saying a word, advanced along the side of the room until he crossed a door, and the group passed through behind him.
When they reached the other side, they found Asgore staring at a huge barrier in front of them. This must be the barrier trapping all the monsters. And the only way out for the human… if Asgore died first…
“This is the barrier… This is what keeps us all trapped underground.” Asgore began to speak.
Eris took a deep breath, stepping forward. “You know very well that we can’t let you kill the human. If you want to take his soul, you’ll have to go through me. Through all of us.”
The other girls moved forward while the human stayed behind.
“I understand,” Asgore said, turning around. “...Ready?”
At that moment, seven cylinders emerged from the ground, six of them with what looked like a soul inside, the seventh being empty.
A strange light fills the room.
Twilight is shining through the barrier.
It seems your journey is finally over.
“Human… Ladies… It was nice to meet you.” Asgore said to the group. “Goodbye.”
Asgore looked down and pulled a red trident from under his cloak, also revealing his golden armor beneath it. With a swift motion, he impaled the trident into the ground, forming a massive ring of fire that surrounded them all in a circle, with another ring of fire surrounding the human to prevent him from escaping.
After this, Asgore grabbed his weapon with both hands with the tips pointing to the ground, ready to fight.
Eris clenched her four-armed fists as she prepared to fight, while Nami and Catilia drew their weapons, just as Gida and Noka activated their lightsabers.
With a swift movement, Asgore extended his hand, launching a wave of fireballs at the group, forcing them to scatter to avoid the attack.
The moment Eris prepared to attack, a shower of flames fell upon her, forcing her to move away from Asgore at that moment, while pillars of fire rose in random places, forcing the rest to move constantly.
As soon as Eris was able to throw a blow at Asgore, he blocked the punch with his trident, pushing her away before trying to skewer her with it, but Gida pulled Eris back in time to avoid the attack.
Catilia and Noka launched an attack at that moment, but Asgore began to attack them with his trident in a violent manner, forcing them to use their weapons to block each of his attacks until they retreated.
It was clear that, despite not wanting to, Asgore was fighting with all his might. If they wanted to survive, they had to give it their all in this confrontation. At the same time, the human seemed to be worried about everyone at that moment.
The king of the monsters was quick to launch large fireballs at the group, but Gida used her mastery of the Force to control the fireballs and make them turn around at Asgore, but he quickly blocked them with his trident without any problem. Eris used this opportunity to approach him, managing to hit him with two of her combined fists from the side, but he seemed to withstand the blow before counterattacking with a pillar of fire where Eris was, but she managed to jump to the side, avoiding the flames.
Nami began to run around the curtain of flames until she reached Asgore, jumping on him and mounting on his back, grabbing him by the horns and pulling on them with the intention of destabilizing him.
As Asgore tried to get Nami off him, Catilia took the opportunity to attack with her sword, trying to force him to drop his trident, but he had a firm grip on it as he clashed his trident against Catilia's sword. During the struggle, Asgore was able to grab Nami and throw her at Catilia, causing them both to fall to the ground. Fortunately, before he could attack, Noka pushed him away with a Force Push.
Asgore began to throw fireballs around him like an incendiary sprinkler, forcing everyone to move and dodge the fireballs flying in all directions. But Gida stayed behind to stop several of the fireballs as some of them were heading towards the human, and began to block and deflect the fireballs that were coming in his direction, not wanting to risk one of them going through the ring of flames and hitting him by chance.
After the attack, Asgore began summoning piles of fire everywhere, but this time, Eris decided to start running towards the king of monsters, clenching her fists tightly. Seeing this, Asgore began throwing fireballs at her, but she used her lower arms as a shield to protect her torso as she quickly advanced.
As soon as Eris got too close, Asgore attempted to skewer the hellbeast with his trident, but Eris used one of her arms to slam the trident down hard enough for it to fly out of her hand, and at the same time, slammed her remaining hand hard into his stomach, causing a powerful shockwave upon impact.
With the tremendous blow, Asgore took several steps back before kneeling on the ground with his hand on his stomach, completely exhausted and breathing heavily. The flames that surrounded the entire place soon faded.
“Ah… So that is how it is.” Asgore said with his eyes closed.
Asgore remained silent as everyone looked at him.
“I remember the day after my son died,” Asgore began, with sadness in his voice. “The entire underground was devoid of hope. The future had once again been taken from us by the humans.” Asgore clenched his fist into the ground. “In a fit of anger, I declared war. I said I would destroy any human that came here. I would use their souls to become godlike and free us from this terrible prison. Then, I would destroy humanity and let monsters rule the surface, in peace.”
The girls remained silent as he continued speaking.
“Soon, the people’s hopes returned. My wife, however, became disgusted with my actions. She left this place, never to be seen again.” Asgore fell silent for a moment. “Truthfully I don’t want power. I do not want to hurt anyone. I just wanted everyone to have hope… But… I cannot take this any longer. I just want to see my wife. I just want to see my child.” He fell silent again for a moment. “Please… young people… This war has gone on long enough. You have the power. Take my soul, and let the human leave this cursed place.”
Eris closed her eyes at that moment, clenching her fists. This monster before her was no king or tyrant. He was just another victim of a tragic story, forced into a role he could no longer bear to play. And now he was willing to throw it all away just to get it all over with.
Eris gritted her teeth and raised one of her arms, reluctantly ready to take his life. But before she could throw her punch, she felt a hand grab one of her lowered arms.
Eris opened her eyes and saw the human holding her hand, looking at her in pity, as he shook his head. Then everything became clear. The human didn't want to continue with this. He didn't want blood to be shed. Not for him.
After hesitating for a long moment, Eris turned around, walking away from Asgore and the human, the monster remaining silent for a moment.
“After everything I have done to hurt you… Would you rather stay here and suffer than live happily on the surface?”
“It’s very clear,” Eris said, crossing her arms. “The human doesn’t want any more suffering because of him. So accept his decision, understand?”
Asgore looked at the human in amazement as he looked at him with a smile.
“Human… I promise you … for as long as you remain here… My wife and I will take care of you as best we can.” Asgore began. “We can sit in the living room, telling stories… Eating butterscotch pie… We could be like… Like a family…” Asgore said with a smile on his face.
The girls began to look at both of them in relief, while Eris continued to turn her back on them.
But then Asgore closed his eyes sadly.
“No. That’s just a fantasy, isn’t it?” Asgore said.
The group looked at the duo with regret at that moment.
“Young one, when I look at you…” Asgore stared at the human. “I’m reminded of the human that fell here long ago… You have the same feeling of hope in your eyes.”
“There is an ancient prophecy among our people. One day, a savior will come from the heavens,” Asgore said. “…I believe the one that was prophesied was you. Somewhere in the world outside… There must be a way to free us from this prison.”
Asgore closed his eyes. “It pains me to give you this responsibility, but… Please. Take my soul... and seek the truth.” Asgore looked away.
“If that is the case… allow me to help you with the task.”
Eris's eyes widened, and she turned around at the sound of that voice. The human, seeing who spoke, began to back away in fear, finally placing himself behind the group, while the rest watched in fear.
Drakath was approaching Asgore until he ended up behind him, holding his trident with both hands.
“Drakath…” Asgore said without looking behind him.
“If this is going to be your end, let me handle it myself,” Drakath said, raising the trident in both hands, as the group debated whether or not to stop Drakath.
Asgore said nothing until he laughed weakly. “I’m sorry… I couldn't give you a simple, happy ending… But I believe your freedom…  is what my son… what Asriel would have wanted.”
Drakath prepared himself to attack Asgore with his own weapon.
“By the way,” Asgore said suddenly. “I’ve seen the videos… I’ve seen what you’ve done… and I can only say one thing… as soon as this is over… you’re fired.”
Drakath looked at Asgore with disgust.
“Then allow me to tell you, Your Highness… I sincerely dislike you,” Drakath said.
At that moment, Drakath launched his murderous attack against Asgore, while the latter had his eyes closed, resigned to his fate. But without warning, a pair of fireballs passed through the middle of the group, catching the attention of both of them, who, without any chance of avoiding it, both fireballs hit both Asgore and Drakath, sending them flying. The former fell to the ground on his back, and the latter crashed into the barrier before falling face-first to the ground.
The girls were confused by what had suddenly happened, without any warning. The human was also confused until he noticed something hugging him from behind.
“What a miserable creature, torturing such a poor, innocent, youth… Do not be afraid, my child.”
The human looked up to see who it was, his face lighting up. The girls turned around, seeing who it was.
“Toriel!” Everyone exclaimed at the sight, the monster woman smiling at the girls.
“But what are you doing here?” Noka asked.
“You see, at first, I thought I would let you make your journey alone… But I could not stop worrying about you.” Toriel looked at the human. “Your adventure must have been so treacherous.”
“Well, it hasn’t been a walk in the park, obviously,” Nami said, scratching her head.
“Yes… But ultimately, it would burden you with a horrible choice,” Toriel said, looking away.
“Yes, we know,” Eris said. “But the human has decided not to go through with it.”
Toriel smiled at the human. “That was very brave, my boy.”
Asgore groaned from the blow, but he slowly began to rise to his feet, looking at Toriel.
“Tori… You came back!” Asgore exclaimed with a smile.
“Do not ‘Tori’ me, Dreemurr!” Toriel exclaimed, advancing towards Asgore, standing before him.
“Great, as if we weren’t enough here…” Drakath said with his head raised and a hand on his skull.
“And you shut it!” Toriel exclaimed, glaring at Drakath. “Coming here, I learned everything you’ve done. You should be ashamed! Causing so much suffering while hiding behind Asgore! When I’m done with him, I’ll be dealing with you!”
After those harsh words, Drakath lay on the ground.
“Hey, one thing,” Nami said. “Aren’t you thinking the same thing I am?”
“So maybe Toriel is Asgore’s wife?” Noka asked. “That would explain a lot.”
Toriel then looked at Asgore. “You pathetic whelp. If you really wanted to free our kind… You could have gone through the barrier after you got ONE SOUL… taken six souls from the humans, then come back and freed everyone peacefully. But instead, you made everyone live in despair… Because you would rather wait here, meekly hoping another human never comes.”
The girls looked at both of them for a moment until they realized that what Toriel had just said made sense.
“...Tori… You’re right…” Asgore said sadly, his eyes closed. “I’m a miserable creature… but do you think we can at least be friends again?”
Toriel sighed deeply. “No, Asgore.” She replied coldly, causing Asgore’s face to turn teary.
“I don’t think it was necessary to be that cold,” Catilia commented to Gida.
“Ngahhhhhh!!!” Undyne exclaimed as she appeared, exhilarating the group. “Asgore! Human!! Nobody fight each other!!! Everyone’s gonna make friends, or else I’ll…!!”
Obviously, Undyne intended to fight the fight, but she soon realized that there was no fight left, noticing Toriel's presence.
“Hi. I’m Toriel.” She introduced herself. “Are you the human’s friend? It is nice to meet you.”
“Uh, yeah…?” Undyne asked, confused for a moment. “Nice to meet you!” At that moment, Undyne approached Asgore. “Hey, Asgore, is that your ex?” She asked Asgore, who closed his eyes. “Geez. That’s rough, buddy.”
Eris shook her head at that moment.
“H-hey! Nobody hurt each other!!” Alphys exclaimed as she appeared in the room, but she soon realized there was no fight. Nami put her hand to her face, shaking her head.
“Oh! Are you another friend?” Toriel asked when she saw Alphys. “I’m Toriel. Hello!”
“Uh, h-h-hi!” Alphys exclaimed, wondering if there were two of them like Asgore now.
“HEY! NOBODY FIGHT ANYONE!” Papyrus exclaimed as he appeared.
“NO ONE IS FIGHTING WITH ANYONE!” the girls in the group exclaimed to the skeleton.
“OH, OKAY…” Papyrus said.
“Hello!” Toriel greeted Papyrus, catching his attention.
“OH! HELLO, YOUR MAJESTY!” Papyrus said to Toriel, before addressing the human. “PSST! HEY, HUMAN… DID ASGORE SHAVE…? AND… CLONE HIMSELF???”
Both the human and the girls were about to collapse on the ground because of Papyrus's stupidity.
At that moment, Sans approached everyone.
“hey guys… what’s up?” Sans asked.
“That voice…!!” Toriel exclaimed upon hearing Sans’s voice as he approached. “Hello, I think we may… Know each other?”
Everyone stared in shock at Toriel and Sans.
“oh, hey… i recognize your voice, too.” Sans said.
“I am Toriel. So nice to meet you.” Toriel introduced herself.
“the name’s sans. and, uh, same.” Sans said.
“Oh! Wait, then…” Toriel looked at Papyrus. “This must be your brother, Papyrus! Greetings, Papyrus!” Toriel said, making Papyrus blush. “It is so nice to finally meet you! Your brother has told me so much about you.”
“WOWIE… I CAN’T BELIEVE ASGORE’S CLONE KNOWS WHO I AM!! THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!!”
Catilia put her hand to her face while Noka shrugged.
“Hey, Papyrus…” Toriel began. “What does a skeleton tile his roof with?”
“HMMM… SNOW-PROOF ROOF TILES???” Papyrus asked.
“No, silly! The skeleton tiles his roof with… SHIN-gles!!!” Papyrus’s eyes widened.
“I CHANGED MY MIND!!! THIS IS THE WORST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!” Papyrus exclaimed.
“If the woman tells jokes as bad as the skeleton, we’re in trouble,” Nami said to Eris, who scratched her head.
While everyone was distracted getting to know each other and solving some mutual problems, Drakath took the opportunity to approach the capsules containing the souls to try to seize them. And if he couldn't get hold of them all, he simply had to take one soul and follow the plan suggested by Toriel. Leave with one soul and get the remaining six from six other people.
But before he could take the souls, Drakath was shocked at what he saw.
After things calmed down a bit, everyone looked at the human and the girls.
“My child, it seems as if you must stay here for a while,” Toriel said. “But looking at all the great friends you have made… I think… I think you’ll be happy here.”
The human smiled with his hands behind his head.
“Well, what about us?” Eris asked.
“Well, if you're willing to wait a little, maybe we can find a solution to your problem,” Toriel said.
The girls looked at each other, shrugging. It was clear they would be there for a long time.
“H-hey, that reminds me. Papyrus… you called everyone here, right?” Alphys asked the skeleton. “Well, besides, uh, her. Uh, anyway… If I got here before you… How did you know to call everyone?”
“Good question,” Gida commented.
“LET’S JUST SAY… A TINY FLOWER HELPED ME,” Papyrus replied.
“A… flower?” Alphys asked, trembling.
The girls were petrified upon hearing Papyrus's response.
“A tiny… flower?!” they all asked.
Without warning, enormous vines attacked everyone, trapping them all in ropes of thorny grass, leaving them unable to escape. Only Eris and the others were quick enough to avoid the attacking plants and protect the human.
Just at that moment, the last actor on stage made his appearance: Flowey.
“You IDIOTS,” said the talking flower. “While you were having your little pow-wow, I took the human souls! And now, not only are THOSE under my power… But all of your friends’ souls are gonna be mine, too!”
“Flowey, you damned treacherous plant!” Flowey approached Drakath, who was also bound by the brambles. “You cursed grass-spawn! We had an agreement!”
“Yes, that’s true. We agreed that I would help you get closer to human souls. But I never said they would be yours!” Flowey said. “And now that I have everything I need… I’ll obtain my true form.”
“Damn plant. I guarantee you’ll regret this, young A-” Drakath ended up with a vine covering his mouth to prevent him from speaking.
“Enough talking, Drakath. I don’t feel like talking with you anymore,” Flowey said, pushing Drakath away.
Then Flowey looked at the group.
“Okay, where was I? Oh, yeah!” Flowey said, watching Eris run toward him, but he quickly sent more brambles at Eris, forcing her back. “Not so fast, miss. I'm not done yet.”
“Damn it! Why the hell are you doing all this?” Eris asked.
“Why do I do this? It’s simple. Because this is all just a game,” Flowey said.
“A game? Seriously?” Gida asked.
“Yes. And if I let Chara leave the underground satisfied, then he’ll ‘win’ the game,” Flowey said. “If he ‘wins,’ he won’t want to ‘play’ with me anymore.”
“As if anyone wanted to play with you!” Eris exclaimed. “What do we have to do to make you stop being such a maniacal idiot for a second?”
“What do you have to do?” Flowey smiled maliciously. “Simple. If you do defeat me, I’ll give you your ‘happy ending.’ I’ll bring your friends back. I’ll destroy the barrier. But that WON’T happen.”
At that moment, Flowey began summoning sharp petals against the group, throwing them at them. The girls began blocking the petals as best they could, preventing them from reaching the human, who was Flowey's target, while he laughed like a complete lunatic. He then summoned such an abysmal amount of petals that it would be impossible to block them all, as they were thrown at them at the same time. But then a ring of fire appeared around the group, incinerating the petals.
“What?” Flowey asked, confused.
“Do not be afraid, my child…” Toriel began. “No matter what happens… We will always be there to protect you!”
Flowey attacked again with sharp petals, but the attacks were blocked by an energy spear and a large bone.
“THAT’S RIGHT, PALS! YOU CAN WIN!!” Papyrus exclaimed. “JUST DO WHAT I WOULD DO… BELIEVE IN YOU!!”
“Hey! Beast! If you got past me, you can do anything!” Undyne said with a smile. “So don’t worry! We’re with you all the way!”
“huh? you haven't beaten this guy yet?” Sans asked. “Come on, this weirdo got nothin’ on you.”
Flowey launched more attacks, but this time an electric field and a curtain of flames blocked the attack, exasperating Flowey.
“Technically, it’s impossible for you to beat him…” Alphys said. “B-but… Somehow, I know you can do it!”
“Human, girls, for the future of humans and monsters…! You have to stay determined…!”
“See, Flowey?” Nami exclaimed. “You may have become all-powerful, but you’re on your own against what’s coming!”
“If you want to 'win,' then you'll have to try harder than us!” Gida exclaimed, putting a hand in front of the human.
“You'd better get ready, Planty. I’m going to teach you a lesson you’ll never forget!” Eris said, bumping her fists.
Flowey looked desperate as he saw how his plan was slowly falling apart, leaving him at the mercy of Eris and the others, despite his power.
But then the flower smiled maliciously.
“I can’t believe you’re all so STUPID,” Flowey said coldly. “ALL YOUR SOULS ARE MINE!!!”
Flowey began to generate an aura of light that began to expand around him, swallowing everything it came into contact with. The group gathered around the human to protect him as the aura expanded further and swallowed them, closing their eyes as everything went white.

When the girls and the human opened their eyes, they were somewhere very different. They didn't know where they were. They just stood on some kind of wide platform.
“Where are we?” the human asked, looking around.
At that moment, Eris looked down at the ground, seeing a drawing she recognized from before. The ground with yellow flowers painted on it.
“People, I’ve been here before,” Eris said.
“And what is this place?” Noka asked.
Then Eris's mind clicked, frowning.
“Girls, I think we’re in a Dive into the Heart,” Eris said.
“Really?” Nami asked, looking around. “It certainly is.”
“Hey, if we’re in someone’s heart, the question here is whose?” Gida asked.
Instinctively, Eris directed her gaze in one direction, as everyone else did at once. Wherever they looked, they found a monster resembling a young goat with white fur, dressed in a green shirt with yellow stripes and black pants. The boy looked around for a moment, clenching his fists for a second before chuckling softly.
“Finally,” said the boy. “I was so tired of being a flower.”
Eris frowned. This child must be Flowey. Or, in that case, the monster he must have been before he turned into a flower.
Then he turned around, looking at the group, opening his eyes with a smile.
“Howdy!” the boy said, looking at the human. “Chara, are you there? It’s me, your best friend.”
At that moment, there was a flash, and the boy transformed into an adult dressed in a purple robe with white sleeves, curved horns, and black-scleral eyes.

Eris prepared herself to face this powerful enemy before them. Eris immediately launched herself at him, but Asriel simply launched fireballs at her. Eris easily dodged them, striking his face hard with a punch, but Asriel barely flinched from the blow, surprising Eris.
“What’s wrong? Aren’t you supposed to be so strong?” Asriel asked, smiling.
Eris backed away from Asriel, but then lunged at him again. This time, Asriel moved to the side, avoiding the attack, laughing calmly before raising his hands, causing enormous stars to fall from the sky, forcing the group to dodge the enormous projectiles and their explosions.
“Okay, we have to think about what to do with this one,” Catilia said.
Eris gritted her teeth and fists, looking at Asriel.
“You know…” Asriel began. “I don’t care about destroying this world anymore.”
Asriel raised his hands, causing hundreds of lightning bolts to fall all over the platform, forcing everyone to move constantly again.
“What do you intend to do, now that you’ve become this powerful?” Nami asked.
“What will I do?” Asriel asked. “Very simple. After I’m done dealing with all this, I’ll reset everything. I’ll bring all your memories of this world to zero!”
Asriel summoned two energy swords in his hands and began attacking Eris. She was able to dodge his swift slashes until Gida and Noka blocked his blades with their lightsabers, forcing him to retreat.
“Honestly, I expected more from a creature said to have been created by the gods,” Asriel said, shaking his head.
“Just you wait and see!” Eris exclaimed angrily, clenching one of her fists tightly until it began to generate a red aura. Eris violently launched herself at Asriel, punching him in the stomach and causing an explosion upon impact. But this merely caused Asriel to flinch, shaking his hand where Eris had hit, while her arm was damaged by the blow.
At that moment, Asriel generated a cannon on his arm, aiming at the group and starting to fire projectiles from it, forcing everyone to dodge each of his shots. In the end, he aimed at the human while charging energy into the cannon, but Catilia jumped and slashed the cannon with her sword, causing it to fire elsewhere.
“Tell me, ‘Servant,’ how does it feel to have a pulse and life, despite being only a dead echo from a long distant past?” Asriel asked Catilia.
“Just wait, this echo will leave you deaf when it’s done with you,” Catilia said, starting to swing her sword at Asriel, who managed to dodge it without any problems.
While evading Catilia's attacks, Asriel raised his hands, causing more stars to begin falling from the sky, forcing everyone to dodge the attacks. Nami then generated her protective shield to protect the human from several of the falling stars.
“And you, the 'Blade'. I'm surprised a 'weapon' can acquire sentience of its own accord so easily,” Asriel said, shaking his head.
“Spoke he who was once a flower just moments ago,” Nami said.
Eris tried to attack Asriel from the side, hitting him with all her might, but unfortunately, she only achieved the same result as before, and now she had another damaged arm.
“Stop hitting him like that! It’s clearly no use!” Nami said as she ran to Eris, using the potions to heal her.
Asriel readied his swords to strike again, but Gida pulled him towards her and Noka, but the three remained in a stalemate in the clash of swords.
“And you, Jedi? I have a question, are you wizards or knights? I’ve never understood that duality,” Asriel commented, thrusting his swords with ease.
“Someone like you would never understand,” Gida said, using the Force to push him away.
At that moment, Asriel began to float in the sky.
“I’m really surprised you were able to hold out and protect Chara for so long,” Asriel said. “But of course, I’ve only been using a fraction of my real power. Do you want to see what it’s like when I use my full power?”
Then everything began to glow, blinding Eris.
When the flashing stopped, the place had changed. It was no longer the platform it had been before, but a very different, dark place. And Asriel had turned into some sort of demonic angel with enormous wings, floating in the air.
Eris looked around for the others, seeing how deep inside they were, including the human, all tied up by what looked like energy cords, preventing them from moving. The girls seemed to be unconscious, while the human struggled to free himself.
“Impressive, isn’t it?” Asriel asked, causing Eris to turn to him. “Just a display of this power, and your friends are powerless before me. It seems your unique nature makes you immune to my pressure.”
Eris faced Asriel, clenching her fists. Her attacks might not be doing anything to him, and maybe his strongest attacks would only damage her, but Eris wasn't about to give up. Especially not to him.
“Don’t worry, when I’m done with this, you’ll forget everything,” Asriel said.
Asriel raised his arms, ready to launch his attack against Eris, a grimace on his face. But then Asriel's body stopped. A look of shock appeared on Asriel's face.
“What…? What’s wrong with me?” Asriel asked.
Then dark electricity began to run through Asriel's body, while he put his hands on his head, screaming in pain.
“What’s happening to me?!” Asriel asked, consumed by pain.
A small laugh began to be heard. The laugh grew louder until it turned into a sinister cackle that echoed throughout the room.
“No matter how much power you have, you’ll always be nothing more than a stupid brat!”
Eris and Asriel's eyes widened upon hearing that voice.
“That voice… How’s that possible?!” Asriel asked.
At that moment, Asriel returned to his previous form, clutching himself in pain. Then, a dark, amorphous form began to grow on Asriel's back, taking on a massive shape. Then, like an egg, the amorphous form hatched, freeing whatever was inside.
And that thing was Drakath, who spread his skeletal wings while placing his hands on Asriel's head.
“Drakath? How’s that possible?” Eris asked.
“I’ve said it before,” Drakath said. “I am one with the darkness. Which means the only way to definitively destroy me would be to destroy the very concept of darkness. Simply put, anything done to destroy my consciousness will never work.”
Then Drakath looked at Asriel. “You should never have absorbed me, stupid. By doing so, you gave me access to the human souls, and now I have full control over them. You tried to be a god, and now you’ll just be a battery to give me the power I need.”
Drakath looked at the human. “But of course, I’m still in need of a seventh human soul to be omnipotent.”
“Like hell I’ll allow it!” Eris exclaimed. “You’ll have to pass over me first!”
Drakath laughed at Eris's words.
“You? You’re nothing more than a freak show number!” Drakath said.
“Freak show number?” Eris asked irritably.
“Yes. Since when does a hellhound have four arms, or are its limbs like those of a bug?” Drakath asked. “In any case, if it's a whooping you're wanting, I will gladly grant your wish, for I now possess absolute power!”
At that moment, everything began to shine again, changing the landscape once again.
This time, Eris saw Asriel crucified on a platform of bones with dark energy binding his feet, hands, and neck. When she looked down, she saw a figure covered by two large black wings. As soon as they opened, they revealed an anthropomorphic black dragon with red eyes and a red belly, dressed in a dark gothic outfit. He stared at his hands for a moment before laughing grimly.
“Good, very good,” the dragon said with a smile. “I was tired of being a skeleton.”
The dragon then turned his gaze towards Eris.
“Now, bow down before the new lord and master of this world!”
At that moment, the ground beneath the dragon and Asriel rose, revealing the gigantic skull of a dragon, as well as a pair of enormous skeletal hands floating beside the skull.

The right hand pointed at Eris, unleashing a torrent of flames at her, but Eris was agile enough to dodge the attack. The left hand then pointed its finger at her, immediately launching several bolts of lightning in that direction, which Eris narrowly avoided.
Wasting no time, Eris lunged toward him, giving a powerful blow against the enormous skull where Drakath and Asriel were, sending it tumbling backward with the force of the blow. But then the two hands extended, each generating a dark orb that was launched at Eris, although she barely managed to dodge it.
Eris deduced that attacking the skull while the hands were present wasn't the best course of action, so she had to consider taking care of them first. It's a shame the others weren't available at the moment.
With that in mind, Eris launched herself at the right hand and began hitting it as hard as she could, dodging attacks from both hands, until she managed to destroy it.
With her right hand out of the way, Eris focused on attacking her left hand, which was more difficult because it kept attacking with lightning. Despite all the problems, Eris managed to destroy the second hand.
With both hands destroyed, a pair of red glows appeared in the hollows of the enormous skull's eyes. It then opened its mouth, 'vomiting' what looked like lava that began to pool beneath the skull, forcing Eris to retreat until the attack stopped, the lava disappearing shortly after.
Eris lunged at the skull to hit it with everything she had, but had to stop when she saw the glowing eyes flash, ducking at once to avoid a pair of lasers fired from the eyes.
Then Drakath raised his hand, and lightning suddenly began to fall all around, forcing Eris to retreat. It was clear that Drakath wouldn't let Eris get close so easily.
Frustrated, Eris clenched her fists as energy emanated from them, making a throwing motion in frustration. But what happened could be considered strange, as an energy spear flew toward the skull, embedding itself in the bone and causing serious damage.
Eris raised an eyebrow in confusion, but when she looked at her hands, she noticed that in one of them she held a blue energy spear, very similar to the ones Undyne used. But… How did she do it?
“That was quite a surprise,” Drakath said, looking at the damage to the skull and shrugging. “Doesn’t matter. I can repair it without any problem.”
Drakath then placed his hand on Asriel, drawing energy from his body. Eventually, not only did the skull repair itself, but the skeletal hands reappeared as well.
“Damn it. This will never end!” Eris cursed, backing away from Drakath. Attacking him like this would never work. As long as he had access to Asriel and the souls, he could repair any damage Eris did.
“The souls…”
Eris turned to look at the human, who was still struggling to free himself.
“The souls… save them…”
Eris wondered what he meant, but then she understood. Drakath was using Asriel like a battery, but all the souls were still inside him. If she somehow managed to free the souls trapped inside him, it would likely sever the bond, leaving Drakath unable to exploit him.
But how would I get inside it?
Eris moaned before shouting in Asriel's direction.
“HEY! IF ANYONE HEARS ME IN THERE, GIVE ME A HAND!” Eris shouted at the top of her lungs.
Drakath raised an eyebrow, wondering if the hellish beast was losing its mind. But then everything around Eris began to change, turning into a dark space, where she could see Undyne's silhouette, but her face was blurred.
“Interesting.” Drakath’s voice echoed around them. “Do you think you can save your friends’ souls, beast? This is going to be interesting.”
At that moment, a cloak of darkness covered Undyne, soon transforming her appearance, wearing a sleeveless black top with a broken heart, black pants, red boots, and red gloves, with an energy spear on her arm, outlining a maniacal smile.
“This is going to be tough,” Eris said, preparing to fight.
Undyne launched herself at Eris, but Eris began dodging her attacks, looking for an opportunity to respond, but without actually harming her. At that moment, Undyne blocked Eris's movements and began launching energy spears at her.
But Eris managed to form her own energy spears in her hands again, blocking the attacks. Furthermore, as she repelled their attacks, the Undyne in front of her seemed to react to her movements.
“Come on! Why don’t we settle this with one hit?” Eris taunted Undyne, tossing the energy spears aside and readying her fists.
Without saying anything, Undyne lunged at Eris, ready to strike her with her fist. But Eris blocked the punch with one of her hands before slamming her face hard with her other hand, knocking her to the ground.
After that blow, Undyne stood up as the dark energy dissipated from her, returning to her normal form, rubbing her face.
“Well, it seems some people can learn new tricks, don’t they?” Undyne said, smiling, although somewhat sore from the blow.
Eris nodded while Undyne laughed a little, but then the whole place changed, with Undyne disappearing, but this time, Alphys appeared in the distance, her face blurred.
“I recognize that you are tenacious, but how long can you continue like this?” Drakath’s voice asked.
A dark aura covered Alphys, changing her appearance, wearing a white lab coat and a long shirt with red and black stripes on the top and black on the rest, with spiral glasses.
“And now how do you plan to attack, brainiac?” Eris asked.
Alphys pulled a strange machine from a pocket, sending several small robots that launched themselves at Eris.
“And why do I have to talk?”
Eris began to run, avoiding the small robots that rushed at her in endless numbers like a swarm, all while Alphys controlled them by remote control.
As she evaded the robots, Eris managed to get closer and closer to Alphys, who was absorbed in controlling her swarm of robots, unaware of the danger approaching her.
With a quick turn, Eris ended up in front of Alphys, snatching the remote control, crushing it with her hand, causing the robots to disconnect and fall to the ground.
“You should think more about your friends, instead of focusing on your little machines,” Eris said, throwing the damaged remote control to the floor.
At that moment, the darkness in Alphys faded, returning to her normal form, with a nervous face and a hand behind her head.
“Yeah, maybe I should think more about those around me,” Alphys said nervously.
Before she knew it, everything around Eris changed again, this time finding Papyrus and Sans, their faces blurred.
“Do you ever give up?” Drakath’s voice asked.
Then both skeletons were covered in darkness, changing their appearances. Papyrus now wore a black suit with red gloves and boots, while Sans wore a black trench coat with a red shirt, black pants, and red sneakers. To make matters worse, a blue aura began to cover Eris.
“Great, this clearly can’t get any worse,” Eris moaned.
At that moment, Papyrus began attacking Eris, constantly throwing energy-shaped bones at her, some of their patterns mixed with blue energy bones that, if Eris remembered correctly, didn't do anything if she stood still when they passed. But with so many attacks at once, it was difficult to stay still during those moments.
Sans, for his part, seemed to be acting as usual, barely doing anything against her, just throwing a small surprise bone at Eris. But other than that, he didn't move a finger. Still, he had to do something to "free" both skeletons.
“Hey! Can I ask you a question?” Eris asked, after dodging a few of Papyrus’s attacks. “Are you really brothers? I ask because one of them keeps making bad jokes, and the other doesn’t even know how to make jokes.”
Eris jumped aside, avoiding a surprise bone from Sans.
“Although, of course, you also have different approaches to traps. While one pulls them off expertly, the other's traps are more embarrassing than funny,” Eris said. “What a duo you two are. Good at one point, but terrible at the other. You really mesh well together when it comes to that.”
After those words, the darkness that covered Papyrus and Sans vanished.
“I HAVE TRUTHFULLY NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT!” Papyrus exclaimed.
“if you think about it, it’s pretty funny,” Sans said.
After that, everything around Eris began to change, finding both Asgore and Toriel before her, their faces blurred.
“Enough with the games! How long are you going to keep this up?” Drakath’s voice asked.
Darkness began to cover both monsters, changing their appearance. Asgore's armor turned pitch black, while Toriel's clothes looked quite torn.
“Okay, let’s get this over with,” Eris said.
Both Asgore and Toriel began to throw fireballs at Eris, who dedicated herself to dodging their attacks, while looking for a way to reach them.
But at that moment, Eris had an idea. Seeing that they were standing so close, Eris jumped in between them. And before the two monsters could do anything, their hands were grabbed by Eris's four hands, who turned them in different directions so they couldn't attack so easily.
“All right, listen to me,” Eris said. “There may have been problems in the past. And maybe things don’t seem to be going well. But right now we’re trying to save you all, and if we want to stop Drakath, I need everyone’s support, including you two.” Eris explained, closing her eyes. “At least do it because you’re human.”
After a moment, the darkness that covered both Asgore and Toriel faded, returning them to their normal states.
“Yes, you have to do it! For everyone!” Toriel said.
“You are our future!” Asgore said.
After that, the surroundings of Eris changed, this time returning to the previous place, with the enormous monster that Drakath was riding.
“What the hell were you trying to do?” Drakath asked, arms crossed.
Although she didn't notice it, Eris could feel that the tremendous power Drakath drew from Asriel had been reduced, but it was still not enough to defeat this maniac.
But then, Eris felt something strange. As if there was another soul. Another person who needed saving at that moment, but who?

It didn't take long for Eris to realize who it was. The human, despite everything, seemed to have noticed everything as well. And so, they both shouted his name.
“ASRIEL!”
Drakath looked at both of them, confused by this, but then memories began to sprout in everyone's minds.
In those memories, they saw a human child, similar to the human they knew, lying on the ground after a long fall. In this one, they also saw a young Asriel find the human and take him home to help and care for him, eventually becoming like brothers.
“What’s this nonsense?” Drakath asked, soon turning to the crucified Asriel. “Don’t tell me those…”
“Wh…? What did you do…?” Asriel asked, his eyes closed. “What’s this feeling…? What’s happening to me?”
“Bah, forget it! That doesn’t matter now!” Drakath exclaimed.
The skeletal hands began to attack Eris, forcing her to dodge their attacks.

“Well, it’s possible you can return,” Hawk reported. “The thing is, the portal can only be reopened at the location where it was first opened.”
The girls looked at each other for a moment, processing what they had heard.
“Whaaaat?” the girls asked again.
“But we appeared in the ruins. Does that mean we have to go back there?” Catilia asked.
“Just what we needed. Now we have to run! Come on!” Eris exclaimed.
Soon, the five girls started running, leaving the room as fast as they could.
“HEY! IF YOU’RE LEAVING, AT LEAST SAY GOODBYE!” Papyrus exclaimed. “WAIT A MINUTE… BUT IF YOU’RE GOING THE WRONG WAY! THE EXIT IS RIGHT HERE!”
Papyrus didn't have an answer because the girls had already disappeared. At that moment, Sans noticed something on the ground and picked it up.
Asgore stared in the direction Eris and the others ran off to. Alphys then handed Asgore a microphone.
“A-Asgore. I think it’s time.” Alphys said.
Asgore stared at Alphys for a moment until she nodded, taking the microphone. He coughed a little before bringing it up to his face.
“Attention, all inhabitants of the underground. Listen carefully,” Asgore began. “It is I, King Asgore. And I am contacting all of you with an important announcement.”
Asgore squeezed his hand with the microphone.
“Dear subjects, it is my duty to inform you that… that…” Asgore began to struggle to continue speaking. “The barrier… the… barrier…” Tears began to fall down Asgore’s face. For a long time, he had waited for this day to come, and now he was struggling to deliver the news, while the others looked at him worriedly, until Frisk took his hand.
“The barrier… It’s gone!” Asgore exclaimed, his voice cracking with emotion. “We’re finally free!”
That news spread throughout the underground. All the monsters, from those who inhabited New Home to those who lived in the deepest corners of the caverns, began to cheer and celebrate the fact that their eternal confinement underground had finally ended. No matter what the monsters looked like, what gender they were, or what form they took, happiness flooded the entire place, with cheers and celebrations everywhere.
Eris and the others continued running throughout the underground, trying to find the fastest routes they could find to get to the Ruins as quickly as possible. But as they ran, they couldn't help but rejoice as they watched the monsters celebrate their newfound freedom. At one point during their accelerated run, Monster Kid noticed them as they passed, wondering why they were in such a hurry.
Finally, the group reached the Ruins, where they saw the monsters living there preparing to leave. As soon as they were close to the place where they had first appeared, the group stopped to rest and catch their breath. No one said anything as they rested. Their journey was coming to an end. They only had one more room to cross before they left the underground, and that time, forever.
After recovering, the girls entered the room where the yellow flower garden was, the place where they had appeared. There, they found a circular, greenish portal floating at the back of the room. But there, they found someone they hadn't expected.
Asriel was kneeling in front of the yellow flowers, as if he were treating them. The girls tensed up before him, but Eris was the only one who remained calm.
“Asriel?” Eris asked. “What are you doing here?”
Asriel simply looked at them. “Just taking care of these flowers. After all, I can’t go back.”
Asriel's answer puzzled the girls, except for Eris.
“And why is that?” Eris asked, receiving the girls’ gaze.
“I’m sorry. I don’t want to break their hearts all over again. It’s better if they never see me,” Asriel said. “But… why are you here?”
Eris simply directed her gaze to the portal, causing Asriel to look at it as well.
“Turns out this isn’t our time,” Eris said, causing Asriel to look at her in confusion. “That portal, the one that brought us here in the first place, also brought us to the past.”
“We practically don’t know the time distance between here and our time,” Nami said.
“Oh, so you’re from the future?” Asriel asked. “That’s a surprise… Although what surprises me most is why Frisk came here.”
“What do you mean?” Gida asked.
“You see, there’s a legend: Travellers who climb Mt. Ebott are said to disappear,” Asriel said. “If so, what reason did Frisk have for going there?”
The girls looked at each other. Clearly, that was something quite strange. Why would anyone want to climb a mountain if there's a legend that says it's better not to? Everything about Frisk was very strange.
“I may not know why Frisk came, but I know why Chara climbed the mountain,” Asriel began. “It wasn’t for a very happy reason, let’s say. Honestly… Chara hated humanity. Why they did, they never talked about it. But they felt very strongly about that.”
That information surprised the girls. Did Asriel's friend, Chara, really hate humanity that much? Then Gida remembered something related to the history of the underground.
“Something happened when you and Chara fused, right?” Gida asked.
“That’s right. When Chara and I combined our souls together… The control over our body was actually split between us. They were the one that picked up their own empty body. And then, when we got to the village…”
Nami raised her hand. “Chara tried to force you to use your power against them,” Nami said, with Asriel nodding. “But you resisted the idea and walked away, suffering the injuries that killed you.”
“That’s right…” Asriel affirmed. “This whole time, I’ve blamed myself for that decision. That’s why I adopted that horrible view of the world.”
Kill or be killed.
“But now… after meeting Frisk and you all… I don’t regret that decision anymore. I did the right thing,” Asriel said. “If I killed those humans… We would have had to wage war against all of humanity. And in the end, everyone went free, right?”
Eris crossed her arms, looking at Asriel.
“I still feel kind of sad knowing how long it took… so maybe it wasn’t a perfect decision. But you can't regret hard choices your whole life, right?” Asriel closed his eyes. “Well, not that I have much of a life left.”
“What do you mean?” Noka asked.
“He says he’ll become Flowey again soon, doesn’t he?” Catilia asked, Asriel nodding.
“That’s right. When I absorbed the human and monster souls, I regained my true form. But now that I’ve freed them all, it won’t be long before I become Flowey again,” Asriel said. “I’ve already accepted my fate. So please, leave me alone and return home.”
The girls remained silent, while Asriel continued to care for the yellow flowers.
“Tell me. Are you really going to leave it like this? Are you going to turn into Flowey and never see your family again?” Nami asked.
“I’ve already accepted it. You’d better leave it alone,” Asriel said.
The girls said nothing, staring silently at Asriel, who had accepted his fate despite everything. At that moment, the girls noticed that Eris had walked over to stand next to Asriel, standing still without looking at him. Nami noticed that Eris had a cold expression at that moment, having a bad feeling.
Asriel continued to work on the flowers in front of him until, out of the corner of his eye, he saw something approaching from the side of his face. That something turned out to be a kick that landed in his face, knocking him to the ground. The girls were shocked when it happened, as it turned out that Eris had just kicked Asriel for no reason.
“Eris! What the hell are you doing?” Nami asked.
“Stay out of this!” Eris warned them, pointing at them as she approached Asriel.
Everyone froze at Eris's words. She was more serious than usual, giving the impression that she wouldn't hold back even if they tried to intervene.
Asriel shook his head, lying on his back as Eris knelt on top of him. He could see her cold, serious gaze from there, as if she were a completely different person than the one he had known.
“How the hell could you think of that?” Eris asked, gritting her teeth.
Asriel looked at her with confusion on his face until he felt a punch in his side.
“Seriously, how could you give up so easily?” Eris asked, punching him again on the other side of the face. “After everything you’ve been through. After everything you’ve suffered. After coming so far. Now you’re thinking of giving up?” Eris said, emphasizing each sentence with a punch.
Asriel looked to the side, avoiding her gaze. “Why try? Without my powers, I no longer have a soul, and soon I’ll turn into a flower, no longer feeling anything. So, why bother about that?”
Eris glared at Asriel, punching him again. “Fool. If I were you, I’d move heaven and earth to get my soul back. I wouldn’t resign myself to turning into a plant without a fight! Don’t you want to be reunited with your parents, even just once?”
The girls could only watch in shock as Eris seemed to try to reason with Asriel and make him accept his fate, but his refusal only angered her further. At one point, Catilia considered intervening, but Gida stopped her.
“That’s the difference between you and me,” Asriel said. “I’m not like you.”
Eris gritted her teeth in irritation, clenching one of her fists and raising it high with a roar. Asriel closed his eyes, waiting for the blow.
But when Eris threw the punch, something stopped her movement.
“What did I tell you?! I told you to stay out of this!” Eris exclaimed, her eyes closed and her teeth clenched.
“Eris,” Nami began. “It’s not us.”
“I think you should open your eyes,” Gida said.
Eris opened her eyes and found herself in a confusing situation. Surrounding her were Undyne, Sans, and Papyrus. Undyne was holding her arms, Sans was in front of her, his hands on her breasts, preventing her from moving forward, and Papyrus was clinging like a koala to Eris's raised arm, all of them trying to stop her. Asriel was also surprised when he opened his eyes.
“i think this is a bit too much, don’t you think?” Sans asked.
“Hey! I didn’t see you capable of hitting a child!” Undyne exclaimed.
“BESIDES, I’D STOP IF I WERE YOU!” Papyrus said, trying to keep hold of Eris’s arm. “IF WHAT YOU SAY IS TRUE, THE PARENTS ARE PRESENT!”
Eris and Asriel turned their heads upon hearing this. Right there, next to Alphys, they could see Toriel and Asgore. The former with her hands over her mouth, and the latter staring with his eyes and mouth open. The girls were surprised to see them there.
“N-no way. W-was that flower really the late prince?” Alphys asked, hands on her head. “Now I really feel terrible about everything…”
“Asriel…” Toriel began. “Is that really you?”
Asriel simply turned his head away, not wanting to see them.
“What the hell are you all doing here? Shouldn’t you be leaving these caves?” Eris asked.
“we came looking for you because you lost something, but we didn't think we'd find you in a situation like this,” Sans said. “by the way, nice melons.”
“SANS! THAT’S NOT HELPING!” Papyrus exclaimed.
“Get out of the way!” Eris exclaimed, throwing everyone off her, as Papyrus fell headfirst to the ground. “This is between me and him.”
Eris looked at Asriel seriously. “Now tell me, are you still thinking about giving up everything and becoming a flower?”
“I’ve already told you. There’s no way I can reverse the transformation. So why even try?” Asriel replied.
Toriel and Asgore were shocked by Asriel's words. They had just seen their son again, and he was already planning to disappear.
“You damn brat… Get this straight!” Eris raised her arms to hit him again.
Suddenly, she felt something biting her tail, causing her to flinch in pain, looking back and seeing who was biting her, finding Monster Kid with his fangs stuck in her tail.
“MK?! What are you doing here?!” Eris asked the young monster.
“Hey! I heard everything! And just because he had such a bad time doesn’t give you the right to beat him up like a punching bag!” MK said, his teeth sinking into Eris’s tail.
“You don’t understand, you idiot! Get off me!” Eris stood up, her tail swishing violently in an attempt to get MK off her.
Asriel began to slowly get up with one hand on his head due to the blows he had received.
“If you think about it, this whole damn mess started because of that Chara. They’re to blame for everything,” Eris said, trying to free MK from her tail.
“Hey! Don’t talk about Chara like that!” Toriel exclaimed.
“You two shut up!” Eris exclaimed, pointing at both monsters. “The idea of Chara dying, Asriel absorbing their soul, and then Asriel trying to use their power against humanity, was Chara’s own plan!”
The monsters fell silent at Eris's words.
“To be honest, even though you're all free now, I think a lot of this mess could have been avoided if Asriel hadn't found that human when he did. In fact, he should have let they die when he found them!”
Asriel began to grit his teeth at Eris's harsh words.
“I actually think this all happened for real because Asriel is, in his own words, a real idiot,” Eris said, glancing at Asriel.
At that moment, Asriel used some of his remaining power to transform into his divine form, surprising the others present.
“Take that back!” Asriel exclaimed, launching himself at Eris.
Eris quickly grabbed MK by the tail and threw him at Asriel, hitting him in the chest and pushing him against the back wall, where he crashed violently. Asriel then reverted to his normal form, and they both fell to the ground as MK's eyes rolled around.
Asriel shook his head after the blow, looking angrily at Eris.
“You saw it, right?” Eris asked. “You turned into your divine form, and you couldn’t even withstand a blow. And yet you still want to make me retract what I said, don’t you?”
Eris pointed at Asriel. “Well, listen carefully, because I won’t repeat this!” Then Eris pointed to the portal. “I don’t know how far in time there is between this era and ours. But I’m sure we’ll meet again someday. And as soon as that happens, I want you to do one thing for me.”
Asriel frowned at Eris as she pointed at Asriel. “I want you to challenge me to a duel!”
Asriel's eyes widened at that moment.
“But not as a mere weed. But as a full-fledged monster, with all your potential!” Eris exclaimed. “We’ve fought before, but now I want to see how powerful you can become without using any human souls.”
“Rest assured that the day we face each other, I will do so with all my might, so for your sake, I hope you do the same,” Eris said, smiling. “And then we’ll finish this fight!”
Asriel's eyes watered as he placed his arm over them. Toriel and Asgore immediately rushed to his side, placing their hands on him as he cried.
“That’s something to see,” Catilia said, one hand on her head. “I was actually scared for a moment.”
“She may look fierce and aggressive on the outside, but on the inside she’s a teddy bear,” Gida shrugged.
“Come on, girls! We don’t know how long this portal will be open!” Nami said, being the first to cross the portal.
The rest started walking towards the portal, next being Noka.
“Wait!” Eris turned around after hearing MK, staring at her. “I’ll get stronger too, and then you’ll see!”
Eris smiled at the young monster's words. "I'll be waiting for you," she replied before continuing to walk.
Soon, Catilia and Gida crossed the portal, with Eris being the one who still had to cross.
“wait!” Sans exclaimed, throwing something to Eris, who caught it in midair. “you forgot that.”
Eris nodded, and with a gesture of her hand, she said goodbye to everyone, crossing the portal before everyone's eyes.

The girls, upon crossing the portal, found themselves back in the lab they'd been in before, ending up underground. And in front of them stood General Hawk.
“Man, you’re finally here. You don’t know how hard it was to get that machine working,” General Hawk said.
“I’m sure of that. But at least it’s good to be back,” Gida said, stretching her arms. “I was getting tired of being underground for so long.”
“Yes, that’s true. But we didn’t do too badly there, did we?” Eris said, gently nudging Gida, who simply nodded.
“Okay, I can see you two are getting along better now than when you were here the first time,” the general said.
“Well, you get to know yourself better when you're in a tough situation,” Catilia said. “I just hope the monsters had an easy time after I left them.”
General Hawk looked at the girls with a raised eyebrow.
Nami looked at Eris, seeing that she had something in her hand.
“Hey, Eris, what are you holding?” Nami asked. “A memento from the past?”
“No, something Sans gave me. I must have lost it when I regained consciousness in New Home,” Eris said, looking at the object in her hand. Nami and Catilia’s faces paled at the sight of the object she held.
It was a Star Shard.
“Eris, watch out for that!” Nami exclaimed.
“Yeah, we don’t want you to accidentally activate it!” Catilia said.
Eris looked at the Star Shard in her hand in confusion.
“What’s going on?” Gida asked.
“That thing is responsible for us ending up in another world! If it activates, who knows where I could end up!” Nami explained.
Gida and Noka looked at each other in confusion.
“Anyway, how long have you had that thing?” Catilia asked.
“Don’t worry, this thing is inactive," Eris said.
“Let’s be safe in this case,” Nami said.
They both tried to take the Star Shard from Eris's hands, but she resisted.
“Hey, there’s no need for that!” Eris exclaimed.
Seeing that there could be trouble, Gida and Noka tried to grab the Gumi block as well, but it was difficult to take it from Eris's hands.
At that moment, the Star Shard began to shine.
“Oh-oh, here we go again!” Nami exclaimed.
At that moment, the Star Shard released a great flash that blinded the general, and when the brightness disappeared, he could only see a star that was flying, stumbling.
“Look what you’ve done!” Eris exclaimed from inside the star.
“Us? But you had that thing in your hand!” Nami exclaimed.
“Uh, does anyone know how to handle this?” Noka asked.
“I have no idea! Ask Eris,” Catilia said.
“Great, you’ve got us into another mess,” Gida said.
“Don’t look at me! It activated itself!” Eris exclaimed.
The star began to move erratically while the girls argued inside until it disappeared from everyone's sight over the horizon.
“Good heavens. I’ll have to ask Master Aqua to go after them,” General Hawk said, before looking behind the machine. “By the way, you’ve missed your chance to receive them, doctor.”
“Th-that doesn’t matter.”
A slightly older Dr. Alphys moved from behind the machine, walking towards General Hawk.
“Just knowing they’re okay is enough for me,” Alphys said with a smile.
“Whatever you say, doctor,” the general said, tapping the machine. “Honestly, I can't help but wonder if you had all this planned from the beginning.”
“What?” Alphys asked.
“Sending the five of them back in time with this machine and having them free all of you from the underground alongside Frisk. Seriously, this all seems like too much of a coincidence to me,” the general said.
