a group of animals live in a summer palace in some nebulous historic time in some vague area in north south america.. a rather unique looking tapir called Empire considers himself their 'king', though he is captive, while the monkeys and birds can truly come and go as they please.. his garden is merely a convenient place for food, and he provides them with various other 'pleasures..'
in scene 1. Empire lounges in a fountain within his garden, Pompadour Cotinga flitting about him like rubies, water birds sit about his fountain, and other exotic birds gather near. a group of Howler Monkeys and Saki Monkeys drag in a new acquisition for him, a female melanistic kodkod.
in scene 2, Empire addresses the kodkod, demanding her fealty to him. but she decides to fight, which he takes pleasure in..
in scene 3, this is the first onslaught on the kodkod.. the strongest monkeys, the Howlers, hold her in place to keep her away from their king. a group of rowdy titi monkeys and a tamarins take turn using her body to pleasure themselves, while those waiting their turn raucously play amongst each other.
in scene 4, the kodkod still has some fight left in her. a large, intersex saki continues to hold her down. a group of marmosets take their turn with the kodkod, each other, and even a pair of hoatzin birds.. and stuck in place by her role as the muscle here, the saki is also subject to the whim of the marmosets..
in scene 5, the kodkod is now well subdued, and exhausted, making her an easier target for smaller critters interested in this 'game'. the smaller marmosets, goeldi monkeys, even smaller birds like conure and aracari can get their desires sated.. the conures playfully pull at her fur while the aracari tease her with their beaks..
in scene 6, it is finally Empire's turn to play.. the little kodkod is truly worn out now, no fight left within her, just as the tapir truly likes. she poses no threat to him now. he holds her close to him and uses her whole body to stroke at his length, while his most beautiful and treasured birds stay near, playing amongst each other but also standing guard, in a way.
in scene 7, the exhausted cat is left to her own devices after everything. a little gold and white marmoset with her own tiny hummingbirds check on their king's newest captive, tidying and cleaning her fur and licking her wounds.
