Lee and Mina (Episode 8)
Mina's Decision

NOTE: This story takes place several months after the events of Episode 7.

It was early September, the start of Lee and Mina's senior year of high school, and it was going to be a very big year for the twins.  In addition to graduating in June, Lee and Mina would finally turn 18 in a few months, which would mean that they would be able to have sexual relations with their father legally...even though it didn't stop them from doing so in the past.  Furthermore, there would also be the senior prom in May, which they both planned to attend with Kyle.  However, before all the fun stuff could begin for the pair, Mina received an unexpected surprise on her first day back to school.

It happened during the middle of Mina's physics class.  Her teacher (a male brown-furred fox) was in the middle of going over the introductory lessons when Mina's school counselor (a female panda) happened to knock on the door.  When the teacher went to see what the counselor wanted, the female panda whispered something in his ear, something that seemed to be very important.

The older male fox understood and called Mina up to the front of the classroom.  "Mina, I know this is highly irregular, but Mrs. Vanderburgh told me that she needs to speak with you in her office", he explained to the teenage minun.

Mina seemed a bit confused, wondering what was going on.  It wasn't like she did anything to get in trouble, she wasn't one to do that...at least not since she and Lee made up.

The teacher gave Mina a hall pass, allowing her to leave with Mrs. Vanderburgh.  He also gave Mina a note, containing the homework assignment for the next day, just in case she didn't come back before class ended.

Mina took both the pass and the note before going with Mrs. Vanderburgh to the counselor's office.  Along the way, Mina obviously had questions.  "What was so important that you had to drag me out of class, Mrs. Vanderburgh?", Mina curiously asked just as the two females reached the office door.

"It's about your future, Mina.  Normally I wouldn't have approached you like this, but there is a special someone waiting in my office who wants to meet with you", the female panda replied.  Then, she opened the office door and allowed Mina to step inside, following close behind the younger female.  When Mina stepped in the office, she saw something that made her drop the physics book and notepad she carried.

She saw a male fox that needed no introduction.  A golden-yellow furred male with brown hair, sky blue eyes, wearing an black three-piece suit along with golden-yellow tie.  He stood at 7-feet tall and had a muscular build.  "Y-you...You're...", Mina stammered in surprise, not expecting to see one of the wealthiest and most famous Kapernians on the planet in her school.

While Mina tried to find the words she wanted to say, Mike stopped the female minun from her stuttering.  "It's alright...I get this a lot whenever I visit schools.  Quite frankly, I do get a little nervous whenever I have to talk to a teenage female.  A lot of them seem like they want something else from me", he explained to her as Mina shook her head and understood what he was getting at right away.

"No, Mr. Mason...I wasn't thinking about that!  I was just surprised that you'd want to speak to me", Mina explained as a thought raced through her head.  "Although, if I were 18 and if he really wanted to, I'd let him do it with me...if only to say that I got to have sex with Michael A. Mason", she thought to herself in a somewhat curious tone, having a brief fantasy of being mated by an Alpha Golden Fox.  However, she quickly dismissed this fantasy and turned to other matters.  "Why did you want to see me?", she soon asked before being offered a seat.  At the same time, her counselor took her seat behind the desk while explaining the purpose of Mike's visit.

"Mina...do you remember last year how I told you that Oakwood College wanted you to attend classes there?", Mrs. Vanderburgh replied in a calm manner.

Mina quickly remembered the offer she received and also knew that Mike was an alum of Oakwood College.  "Yes, as a matter of fact, I do...but I don't know if I could.  You see, I have a twin sister and I know that she would never be accepted at Oakwood", Mina started to explain as Mike and Mrs. Vanderburgh listened, with the male fox getting a thought in his head.

"Mrs. Vanderburgh, do you think that Mina and I could have a few minutes to talk alone?", Mike curiously asked the female panda.

The middle-aged female panda nodded and left the room, deciding to pay a visit to the nearby teacher's lounge for a coffee.  Meanwhile, Mike and Mina were left in the office together as the male fox stood up and looked out the window that overlooked the nearby football field.  "Mina, I think I know why you're reluctant to go to Oakwood.  You have a special relationship with your sister and you don't want to be separated from her, am I right?", he asked, hitting the nail on the head with his question.

Mina sighed for a moment, then answered his question.  "It's not just that.  Sure, I love my sister, but there's more to it.  You see, Lee and I also share a boyfriend and I'm certain that he wouldn't be accepted into Oakwood either.  Furthermore, Lee has kids of her own already, she can't handle raising them without someone to help support her", Mina explained as the tall and powerful male fox turned back towards Mina and sat down in the chair next to her.

"Mina, I know how you feel about your twin.  After all, I have a close personal relationship with my twin sister.  Of course, it helped that we were both able to get into Oakwood and live in the same dorm together, but that's beside the point", he explained to Mina.  "However, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for you.  Not everyone is offered a full scholarship at Oakwood College.  I really think that you should take it", he continued.

Mina sat in her chair and thought about everything that was presented to her.  She thought about getting a chance to attend an expensive and exclusive college that was known for producing some of the most prominent business and political leaders on Kapernia, as well as numerous top doctors and lawyers.  She also thought about Lee, her niece and nephew, and Kyle.

"I...don't know...I want to go to Oakwood, but I don't want to leave my sister or Kyle", Mina replied after several moments of thought, still feeling indecisive.

Mike could sense Mina's conflict in her voice and decided that he should give her a little added incentive.  "Mina, what if I told you that I could find a way for you to attend Oakwood and still be close to those you love", he explained as the teenage minun looked at the male fox curiously.  "Have you ever heard of the town of Familia?", Mike curiously asked the young female.

Mina thought for a second, going back to something she happened to watch on the news a couple years ago.  "I think I've heard a little bit about it...but I don't really remember a whole lot", Mina replied, her memory a bit hazy on the subject.

Mike took a few moments to explain a little more about the town.  "Part of Familia used to be a town known as Twin Lakes.  However, the government of Twin Lakes was corrupt and nearly destroyed the town by embezzling money meant to go for infrastructure and new investments", Mike began to explain.  "It was also around this time when I overheard my younger siblings mention something about wanting to create a town of their own.  A place where couples like them could live happily, away from prudish parents and others who just don't understand what its like to have a close bond with a family member", he continued as Mina seemed a bit confused.

"Younger siblings?  I didn't know you had more than one younger sister", Mina replied, knowing only of Michelle and Jennie Mason.

Mike wasn't surprised by Mina's response, a lot of others had no idea that Mike had other half-siblings.  "It's a long story, Mina.  One that I think would be better explained at another time, should you decide to attend Oakwood", Mike responded in a calm tone, ready to propose his offer to Mina.  "Anyway, if you agree to attend college at Oakwood, I will speak to Chad and Charlene.  I will arrange a meeting for you and your sister with them and they can help you get settled in town.  That way, you'll be able to be close to your sister and still be able to take classes at Oakwood", he continued.  "Who knows, maybe once you graduate from Oakwood, I can find work for you", Mike suggested a moment later as he often was on the lookout for new talent for the many divisions of Independent Entertainment.

When Mike finished talking, Mina took a few moments to think about everything that he talked about.  However, Mina still wasn't sure what to do, she didn't want to make a final decision until she talked to her parents, Lee, and Kyle.  "Do you think that I could have some time to discuss this with my family?", Mina curiously asked.

Mike nodded and soon produced one of his business cards, on the back of the card, Mike included his home phone number, something he rarely mentioned outside of friends and family.  "When you've reached your decision, I want you to call my office or my house.  I'd suggest trying the office first, since I spend a lot of time there with my sister", Mike explained to Mina before mentioning something else.  "However, I need to have a decision within the next 2 weeks.  Oakwood agreed to hold a scholarship for you for the time-being, but if they don't hear from either one of us by then, they'll give the scholarship to someone else", he commented.

Mina understood and placed the card in her pocket for the time-being.  After this, Mina returned to class and would continue through the rest of her school day without interruption.

Later that afternoon...

After meeting up with Lee at the end of the day, Mina went home with her sister like they usually did together, with Mina not telling Lee anything about the meeting she had.  Mina didn't want to tell Lee until the moment was right, probably around dinnertime when her parents would also be present. 

When Mina and Lee arrived home, their mother was in the living room along with Kylie (who was now a pikachu) and Leo.  Lee's children were sitting together, watching "1-2-3-GROW!" on TV*.  They saw their mother come home and immediately became excited.

"Mommy!", Kylie squealed happily as she darted over to Lee, leaping into her arms, even while Lee still had her backpack on.  Kylie was wearing a frilly pink dress with a white and pink shirt, with a pink heart on it.  Her brother soon followed Kylie, running over to meet Lee as she picked him up with her other arm.  Leo wore a pair of dark blue shorts along with a baseball-themed T-shirt.

Lee did her best to tend to her offspring, nuzzling both Kylie and Leo sweetly before setting them down.  That's when the twins turned their attention to Mina, climbing into her arms as well.  Mina may not have been their biological mother, but it sure seemed as if Kylie and Leo treated her like Lee.  The twins nuzzled their aunt happily, with Leo even rubbing his cheek against Mina's, giving his aunt a gentle "love shock".

Mina allowed her niece and nephew to bond with her for a moment before setting them down.  "OK, Auntie Mina needs to have a talk with Mommy and Grandma.  So, could you two please watch TV for a bit?", Mina softly explained to Kylie and Leo, hoping that they'd get the message.  Fortunately, it happened to be almost 3 PM, which was the time that the twins' favorite show happened to be on Independent Entertainment.

Paula was well aware of this and soon changed the channel on the TV to the area I.E. affiliate.  Kylie and Leo both heard a familiar intro song on the TV and immediately reacted to it.  "Yay!  Keno and Yuki!", Kylie exclaimed as she and her brother parked themselves back on the floor, starting to watch "House of Kitsune: The Tale of Keno and Yuki"**.

"There, that should keep them occupied for a half-hour", Paula replied as she soon turned her attention to Mina, overhearing what her daughter mentioned.  "By the way, what is it that you need to talk about, dear?", Paula asked Mina curiously as Lee also wondered what was on Mina's mind.

"Yeah...what's so important that you need to talk with Mom about?", Lee added as Mina turned towards her sister and sighed.

"Lee, it's a long story.  I think we should go into the dining room to talk about it with Mom", Mina answered.

For a moment, Paula became a little concerned, she knew that Mina had been sexually active with her father the last several days.  "Oh God!  Mina...you're not pregnant with your father's child, are you?", Paula responded nervously, worried that she might have soon have a couple more grandkids...a couple of inbred ones.  However, Mina was quick to alleviate her mother's fears.

"Relax Mom, I took my yiffberries before Dad and I had sex.  I'm not pregnant and I don't plan to get pregnant for a while", Mina responded before elaborating a little.  "Actually, I wanted to talk about something that happened to me in school today", Mina continued as both Lee and Paula were curious to know more, going with Mina into the dining room.  The three of them were still within sight of Kylie and Leo, but their eyes were glued to the TV, listening to the program, so they wouldn't pay attention to anything they talked about anyway.

The three females sat down at the table, with Lee sitting next to Mina and Paula sitting across from them in her usual spot.  "So, what happened in school today?", Paula asked Mina, wanting to learn more about Mina's day.

Mina began to talk about her day, mentioning that she was in her physics class when she was called to the counselor's office.  She also mentioned how she got to meet Mike and how he tried to convince her to attend college at Oakwood.  Lee seemed a bit skeptical at first.

"You actually got to meet the Supreme Commander of the Kapernian Elite Guard?  The one male that females everywhere would want to have sex with if they had the opportunity?", Lee asked her sister in a tone of disbelief, thinking it was far-fetched that someone of Mike's stature would ever step foot inside their school.

"But it's true!", Mina responded promptly.  "He really did meet with me in the counselor's office.  He even gave me one of his business cards!", she added before pulling the card out to show her sister and mother that she wasn't making it up.  Lee and Paula looked at the card for a second or two and saw that it seemed legitimate.

"So, what else did you and Mr. Mason talk about together, honey?", Paula asked Mina curiously, wanting to know more about the conversation they had.  This was when Mina told her mother and sister about how she felt conflicted about going to Oakwood.  She wanted the opportunity to make the most of her life, but also wanted to stay close to Lee and Kyle.  Mina also mentioned the things that Mike told her about Familia, and how he told her that if she should decide to go to Oakwood, he'd try and see if he could arrange something for her and Lee to stay together while Mina attended college.

Paula listened to Mina while she explained the situation from her perspective as Mina's mother.  Naturally, Paula wanted the best for Mina, she wanted Mina to go on to have a successful life and hopefully produce more grandchildren for her once Mina was ready to breed.  As such, Paula was quick to offer Mina some advice of her own.

"Mina, I think that you should take up the offer and go to Oakwood.  Mr. Mason must think that you're special if he's willing to take time out of his busy day to speak with you in person...especially if he mentioned that he would try to help you and your sister stay together", Paula replied to Mina.

Lee also listened to what her sister had to say and grabbed hold of Mina's hand, holding it firmly while looking in Mina's direction.  "Mina, no matter what happens you'll know that I'll still love you.  In addition to Kyle and the kids, you're the most important thing in my life", Lee commented.  "Still, you should do what you feel is best.  If you want to go to Oakwood, I won't stop you from doing so", Lee soon added.

Seeing as how both her mother and sister wanted Mina to attend Oakwood, she felt better about accepting the offer.  However, Mina wanted to assure Lee that she wouldn't be alone.  That's when Mina leaned over to Lee and placed a kiss on her sister's lips.  After the kiss, Mina took the opportunity to tell Lee how she felt.

"You're important to me too, Lee...that's why I've been so hesitant to accept the offer in the first place", Mina replied.  "However, if we're able to live together under one roof, I'm more than willing to go to Oakwood", Mina continued before rolling her eyes and letting out a sigh.  "I only hope that there can be some way that we can get Kyle to come with us.  I don't want to be separated from him, either...and I know you couldn't stand to be apart from him", Mina added before Paula made another comment.

"I'm sure Mr. Mason would be willing to help with that, girls.  He has a way of granting opportunities for those he feels worthy of his help", Paula explained as she has heard stories about what Mike has done to make life better for those on Kapernia.

With that comment, Mina felt that she was ready to accept the scholarship to Oakwood.  She would later call Mike to tell him the news and arrange a visit to Familia for her and Lee.  The two sisters would spend the weekend together at one of the rental properties in the "Old Twin Lakes" section of Familia, all-expenses paid for by the Mason twins.  While there, Mina and Lee would have a chance to meet with the founders of Familia, as well as learn more about the town and where they would be staying.

Three Weeks Later...

After making arrangements with the Mason twins, and leaving Kylie and Leo with Kyle and his parents for the weekend, Lee and Mina made the trip to Familia using a rental car that had been provided by Mike and Michelle.  They left their parents' house after dinner Friday evening and arrived in Familia just as it was starting to get dark outside.

The town of Familia was located on the western edge of the Odessa Mountain Range, just north of what was previously referred to as "The Twin Lakes".  The town itself was surrounded by forest from all-sides, with some wooded areas present on the edges of town.  There were multiple sections to the town of Familia, most of which were created when the town of Twin Lakes was bought out by the Mason twins.  The land that the town of Familia currently existed on was capable of supporting a town of approximately 20,000 individuals, but only about 4,000 currently lived in the town.  There was still plenty of room for future expansion, should the founders and the city council decide to do so.

In addition to having the Twin Lakes nearby, there was also another lake located inside the western-most portion of the town, one that was artificially-made and served as the town's reservoir, with a water treatment plant and water tower on the west side of the lake.  This lake was known as Lake Familia, and had its own public beach on the eastern side of the lake, not far from the town's main park.  However, there wouldn't be time for the two to go sight-seeing tonight.  They had a busy day tomorrow and they needed to get to their cabin.

Before she and Lee left for Familia, Mina received instructions on how to get to the cabin rental area from Mike.  He told Mina to go to the rental office on Eva Avenue and speak with whoever was in the office.  They knew that Lee and Mina were coming and had a cabin prepared for the two of them.  As such, Mina followed the directions she was given, taking Diagonal Road towards the "Old Twin Lakes" portion of town, turning onto Eva Avenue once she arrived there.  Not long afterward, the two of them arrived at the rental office where they got to meet the younger sister of the town founders.

The female two-tailed kitsune worked as the primary manager of the rental cabin business, co-owned between her and her older siblings.  She also helped operate (and sometimes performed) at The Oasis, a sex club that was located not too far from where they were, though that business was owned by her sister-in-law.

"Hello...you must be Mina and Lee", the kitsune female responded in a friendly sort of tone.  By nature, she wasn't as reserved talking with others as her older siblings were, which is part of the reason why they put her in charge of running the rental properties.

Mina approached the vixen and introduced herself to her.  "Yes, we are...my sister and I have a reservation for a cabin courtesy of Mr. Mason", Mina answered a few moments later.

The kitsune fem was aware of this, she had been told to expect the two sisters to arrive by the Mason twins.  They pre-paid for a two-night stay for Lee and Mina there and instructed her to present the two younger females with the keys to a cabin and a little something else.

"Of course...just give me a moment and I'll go get your keys", she responded in a cheery tone before going into the back of the office, pulling out a key set for an unoccupied cabin, and an envelope that was sitting on the desk.  Then, she brought both to Mina and presented them to the female minun.  "Here you are...you two are in Cabin B-3", the kitsune female told Mina, delivering the keys to her first.  They key set had two keys for the front door of the cabin, one for each of them if they wanted to share.  The key ring also had another key for a hidden safe that was inside the master bedroom closet, one where individuals could put valuable items inside for added protection.  However, it was unlikely that Lee or Mina would need to use the safe.

After receiving the keys, Mina also received the envelope that had been left behind and was curious about what was inside.  She opened it up and discovered that there was a special "Familia Gold Pass Card" inside.  Gold Pass Cards were only used within the town limits of Familia and were usually given to guests as a part of hotel/cabin packages.  They usually contained a pre-loaded amount of cash, ranging from 50 UIC dollars to 500 UIC dollars and could be used like any other credit or debit card.  However, the card Mina received was paid for by the Mason twins, so they put 5,000 UIC Dollars on the card for Lee and Mina to use.

"He must really want me to go to Oakwood!", Mina thought to herself, seeing how much the Gold Pass Card was worth, thinking that maybe he had given them far more than they needed, especially for a weekend visit.  Then again, Mike and Michelle Mason were the wealthiest Kapernians on the planet.  Their net worth was in the trillions of UIC Dollars, as Independent Entertainment was a worldwide business.  They had far more money than they knew what to do with, so donating 5,000 UIC Dollars to Lee and Mina and paying for their cabin was hardly a drop in the proverbial 5-gallon bucket for the two golden fox siblings.

In addition to the card, there was also a handwritten note from the founders of Familia.  "Welcome to Familia, Lee and Mina.  We are so happy that you decided to pay our town a visit and we hope that you enjoy your stay here", the note began.  "Our brother wanted to mention that he wants to meet with the two of you at 'Mi Familia' tomorrow afternoon for lunch", the note continued.  "Please meet us there around 12 PM tomorrow and we can discuss future living arrangements and any other concerns you may have about moving to our town.  Sincerely, Chad and Charlene", the note concluded, having been written by Charlene while she received suggestions about what to put into the note by her twin brother and Mike.

After reading the note, Mina placed the gold pass card in her pocket for the time-being.  "Well, I suppose my sister and I should head to our cabin.  It seems we have a busy day ahead tomorrow", Mina soon replied, thinking that it was about time they got settled in for the night.

The female kitsune acknowledged Mina and had some more advice for her.  "If you or your sister need anything else, you can dial '*001" on your house phone.  It'll connect you straight to the office where me or Hope can help you", she mentioned.  Mina took the kitsune fem's words under consideration, but didn't think that they would need any further assistance from her.  Instead, Mina went to Lee and took her sister's hand, walking back to the car that was provided for them, driving down to B Street and arriving at their cabin for the weekend a few moments later.
