Celicia's Brother (Part 2)
The New Arrival

NOTE: This story starts about one week after Part 1 ended.  Like Part 1, this story is NOT in canon with stories involving the Condom Crusader, Rubber Lass, etc...

As summer continued and the new school year approached, there were many things that Kit, Firecat, and their daughter Celicia needed to prepare for.  First, and foremost, there was the pup growing inside Firecat's womb.  It had been a couple of weeks since she and Kit mated and she was just starting to show signs of pregnancy.  Her belly was slightly bigger than before, getting Celicia's attention when she first noticed it as Firecat would have her daughter on her lap with Celicia touching the bump in her mom's belly.  "See this honey, this is where you came from...and pretty soon you'll have a new brother or sister to play with", Firecat would tell her young daughter as the curious vixen pup had questions.

"But...how did we get inside you, Mommy?", Celicia asked, making Firecat blush and sweat a little as she thought back to the day when Celicia was born.  She knew that Celicia was too young to know about sex and came up with a white lie to cover it up.

"Well, you see, when Daddy and I want to make a brother and sister for you, Daddy uses a magic wand to put a spell on mommy.  About two months after he casts the spell, you have your baby brother or sister!", Firecat explained to Celicia before letting their playful daughter run off and play.  After all, she would be starting 2nd grade in a few weeks.

While Firecat spent her time with Celicia, both spending mother/daughter time with her vixen pup and helping Celicia get ready to return to school, Kit spent a lot of his time working in the new bedroom for his second son or daughter.  In the time that passed since he found out Cat was pregnant, Kit had brought up Celicia's old baby furniture and some of the unisex toys they gave her when she was a young pup.  They still didn't know the gender of their second pup, so they decided to wait until they knew for sure before buying all new stuff.  Of course, it would be easier if they had another daughter since they could just reuse more of Celicia's old stuff.  However, Kit (and to some extent, Firecat) hoped that they'd have a son this time.  Kit wanted to have a little male fox pup like himself to do father/son things with...and to pass on the family's name and line once he was a grown kitsune.

With all the work preparing the new bedroom, Celicia's "Back To School" shopping, and Firecat's weekly checkups, the family was very busy and the two adults didn't have as much time as they would've liked to be intimate.  Firecat may have already been pregnant, but the sibling couple still wanted to have a little more "bonding time" by themselves before their pup was born.

Two weeks later, after another one of Firecat's checkups...

With Cat at the Medical Center to check on the progress of the pup in her womb, Kit and Celicia spent some time out in the front yard together.  A few weeks earlier, Kit and his family received a gift from the Kobylenski twins of an above-ground outdoor pool.  It wasn't like one of those cheap little kiddie pools, it was a three-foot deep pool that was about 20 feet around, complete with ladder and filter kit to keep the water clean and fresh.  They knew Celicia liked swimming and since it was still warm, they gave Kit's family the present to give Celicia a place to swim in whenever she was at home.  Of course, Celicia still used water wings whenever she was in the pool since she was still learning to swim, but her dad helped Celicia out as well.  That wasn't the only gift they received in the last few weeks.

Upon learning about Firecat's pregnancy, Kit's bosses (the Mason twins) bought the couple a new gas-powered barbecue grill, along with a playground set and gazebo for the family.  Mike and Michelle Mason were very generous and treated their employees as if they were a part of their family.  Mike and Michelle could relate to how Kit and Firecat were to each other.  They considered each other to be mates ever since college and they spent a lot of time convincing the UIC and Mason Island Legislatures to recognize marriages between sibling couples and others.  In the time that they started lobbying for this, the Mason twins successfully got the legislature to allow marriages within the city limits of Familia to be considered "legal", but there was uncertainty in regards to whether or not it would be allowed on any of the other UIC islands, or anywhere else on Mason Island.  On Mason Island, incest was considered legal as long as it was consentual, but there were still concerns over what would happen if sibling couples were to breed...even though the Mason twins brought up the scrolls that Kit and Firecat used to conceive their pups.  Still, it would be awfully hard to say 'no' to the Supreme Commander of the Kapernian Elite Guard, especially considering all the contributions Mike and his sister had made over the years.  Still, it was nice to have the support of friends in high places, ones who supported Kit and Cat's relationship and wanted other who were like Kit and Cat to be happy with their lives, which is why Familia was founded in the first place.  

However, Kit only focused on thinking about his daughter at that moment, standing at one end of the pool while holding his arms out to Celicia, encouraging her to swim over to "daddy".  She did and she was getting better at it, with her arms getting stronger with each passing day.  It wouldn't be long before Celicia could try swimming without the water wings.  She reached her father on the other side of the pool, who embraced Celicia and nuzzled her gently before the vixen pup returned the gesture by nuzzling him back, telling Kit that she loved her daddy in the process.  It was about time when Firecat came out to the backyard after her visit with the doctor.

"So, what did the doctor say?  Did she tell you whether we're going to have a son or another daughter?", Kit asked while he held Celicia, with the vixen pup curiously looking towards her mother along with Kit.

Firecat soon gave Kit and Celicia the answer that they had been waiting for.  "Kitsu, call the painters in the morning and tell them that we're going to go with the sky blue paint for the new nursery", Firecat told them in a somewhat cheerful manner, making Kit nearly jump out of the water when he heard the news.

"Yes!  I'm going to have a son!", Kit exclaimed happily, making Firecat giggle at her brother's behavior a bit.  He then turned his attention to Celicia, putting his nose on hers and holding her in his arms.  "Did you hear that, honey?  You're going to have a baby brother pretty soon!", Kit told Celicia in a happy tone, making Celicia smile as she had her own reply for her father.

"Thank you for using your magic wand on Mommy and putting my brother in her belly!", Celicia commented before kissing Kit on his nose and then going over to the ladder to get out of the pool and dry off.

When Kit heard Celicia's comment, he looked over at Firecat with a bit of a concerned look on his face.  "Magic wand?", he softly muttered, thinking that Firecat told their young daughter about sex.

"Celicia asked how she got inside my belly a few weeks ago and I told a story about how you used a magic wand to put her in me.  I didn't say what that "magic wand" was, nor did I mention how you "put her in me", I just needed something to keep her from finding out the truth", Firecat explained as Kit felt relieved by Firecat's explanation.

"Well, I suppose that makes sense.  We are kitsune, after all", Kit answered back as he started to climb out of the water himself, feeling soaking wet from his waist down.  "Anyway, we should share the news with our friends...maybe try out that new barbecue that we got", Kit told Firecat as he walked over to her, trying to reach out to take his sister's hand only for Firecat to step away from him.

"Go dry off first, then you can touch me.", she commented, not wanting to get wet herself as she was still in her good pink kimono.  Kit did what Firecat asked and got out of his wet clothes, drying his fur off underneath the turbo dryer in the master bathroom.  He then got dressed in his own kimono, looking a lot like the one that Shippo from Inuyasha wears and joined Firecat in the living room to both celebrate their news and later to start calling friends to invite them to a barbecue.

A few more days later...

With the backyard of their house decorated with strings of outdoor lights, paper decorations that said "Congratulations, Kit and Firecat" and "It's a Boy" on them, the couple had some of their friends over for the barbecue.  Among those who came over for the barbecue were Chad, Charlene, and Eva...along with their pups.  They brought along their own grill to use along with Kit's, in addition to having a cooler filled with many different kinds of meat.  In addition, Melissa and her littermates were able to attend the barbecue, as well as Sapphire and hir twin brother Ruby.  It made sense for Melissa to come along, since she was there when Kit and Firecat got married, along with Chad and Charlene.  However, they weren't the only ones who attended the barbecue.

From another part of Familia, another one of their friends came over to celebrate the pending addition to Kit and Firecat's family.  Twilight had known Kit and Firecat for the last several years, she sometimes acted as a babysitter for Celicia whenever Chad and Charlene were too busy with other activities to watch her.  In addition to being another babysitter for Celicia, Twilight also had a more personal relationship with Kit and his sister.  Twilight secretly wanted to have Kit produce an egg with her.  She never approached Kit about the subject, but now that Kit and Firecat were expecting another pup, Twilight's desire to let Kit breed with her was stronger than ever.

As the evening went along, the adults of the group helped Kit and Firecat celebrate the pending arrival of their son, while the kids played together in the backyard.  Kit and Firecat received several gifts from their friends for their second pup.  However, there would be one gift that would help the couple out more than anything else.

Later in the evening, while Kit and Firecat were busy receiving gifts for their son, a black hovercar arrived outside of Kit and Firecat's house.  The car was as long as a limo, with gold-colored detailing along the sides.  The license plate on the back of the hovercar read "Mason 001".  The car belonged to Michael and Michelle Mason, the half-siblings of Chad and Charlene...and their bosses.  They had heard from their younger half-siblings that Kit was going to have another pup and insisted on showing up that evening.  Of course, being that they lived in Victoria and ran a multi-trillion dollar business together, it was hard for them to get away for the start of the barbecue, but they found the time to make the trip to Familia.

After arriving at the house, the fennec fox driver* got out and opened the sliding door along the side of the car, allowing Mike and Michelle to get out.  Both of the twins were dressed as if they were spending the evening in downtown Victoria as opposed to the considerably smaller town of Familia.  Mike wore his best black suit, with gold colored tie to go along with it.  Michelle wore a gold-sequin dress along with matching shoes and a diamond necklace that she got several years ago from her brother as a birthday present.  Much like their younger half-siblings, Mike and Michelle were mated to each other, but also had mates outside the family.

Compared to Kit and his sister, the Mason twins were rather large, with Mike being 7 feet tall and a former football star, and his sister being well over 6 feet tall and being the first Kapernian female to play in the Island Football League.  So, seeing them in person would be rather intimidating for most.  However, despite their strong appearance, Mike and Michelle were usually gentle and took good care of their employees.

By the time they arrived, dessert was being served at the party, consisting of a very large "It's A Boy" cake and various flavors of ice cream.  "Sorry we're late...Mike and I had a lot of business to tend to this afternoon", Michelle mentioned in a calm manner as Kit and his sister seemed a bit surprised by the appearance of the Mason twins.

"It's alright, Charlene and I are busy trying to figure out who should run the Art Department over at the video game division", Chad commented to his older half-siblings as he held a glass filled with non-alcoholic banyaberry wine in his hand.  He had brought some with when he and Charlene came to the barbecue, making sure to grab the non-alcoholic version in case Firecat wanted some.  In reality, Chad, Charlene, and the Mason Twins had planned a surprise for Kit, and now that they were here it was time to share that surprise.

"Maybe you could give the job to your friend over there.  After all, his "House of Kitsune" idea proved to be a huge hit with the kids", Mike commented back, intentionally letting Kit listen to what they were saying, causing the second time father-to-be to freeze in his tracks and blush a bit in surprise.

"In fact, I think we should put out a sequel to the game.  I think the kids will like getting to have more adventures with Keno and Yuki", Michelle soon added, giving her younger half-siblings a wink, letting them know that they both approved of the idea of promoting Kit to being the director of the art department.

"I think you're right", Chad soon commented.  "C'mon, I think we should go over and tell him the news", he soon added, bringing along the Mason twins.  Meanwhile, Firecat noticed her brother standing there frozen like a statue, still in disbelief over what he had heard.

"Kitsu, are you feeling alright?", she asked while standing beside her brother as the two alpha golden foxes and Chad confronted the two of them.

"Now that you're going to have another mouth to feed, my half-siblings and I figured that you could use some extra money to help raise your son", Chad commented in a polite manner as Mike and Michelle stood with him.

"Effective on Monday, you'll be promoted to head of the art department for the video game division.  You'll get an extra 2,000 UIC dollars per week, an extra two weeks of paid time off per year, and your own company-issued vehicle", Mike explained to Kit as he and Firecat listened, with her becoming surprised by the offer.  "Oh, and you'll also be in charge of the "House of Kitsune II" project, where you'll receive 10% of all sales of the game once it is released as a bonus", Mike added as all of this being dropped on Kit's lap was too much for the kitsune male to bear.  He ended up passing out, getting caught by his sister.

"I guess this was all a bit too much for him at one time", Michelle commented before Chad called for his sister to make sure Kit was alright.  Charlene had nurse's training and was able to get him back onto his feet.  Meanwhile, Mike and Michelle talked with Chad some more.

"Maybe this wouldn't be the best time for us to give them our present.  So, we'll leave it with you and Charlene and you can give it to them when you think they're ready for it", Mike told his younger half-brother, giving him a gift basket meant for Kit and Firecat with a gold-colored envelope inside of it.  "Anyway, if you'll excuse us, Michelle and I need to get back to Victoria.  We've got to attend an advanced screening of the new "Quintana" movie.  We'll trust you to give them the good news", Mike explained to Chad before the Mason twins left as quickly as they came in, only stopping by the party long enough to give Kit their gift and the promotion.

By this time, Celicia noticed that her dad was in her mother's arms, being held from behind by Firecat as the young vixen pup looked a bit concerned.  "Daddy...are you alright?", she asked in a slightly concerned tone as Charlene continued to treat him.  While holding the basket of goodies, Chad went up to the young vixen pup and presented her with the gift basket.

"Celicia, I think Daddy needs a few moments.  Do you think you could be a good girl and put this on the kitchen table for your Mommy and Daddy?", Chad asked in a soft and sweet tone, speaking to her as if she was his niece.

"Sure thing 'Uncle Chad'", Celicia cheerfully answered, being handed the gift basket by him before doing what she was told.  By then, Kit was wide awake again and Charlene put her emergency first aid kit back inside the purple purse she carried with her.

"He should be alright after a good night's rest.  Although I think you should probably take him straight to bed so he can lie down", Charlene explained to Firecat calmly.  Firecat took her brother's hand and held it firmly, staying by his side as it seemed like the party was over.  However, there was still a mess to clean up.

"OK, but what am I going to do about all of this?", Firecat answered curiously, seeing as there was cake, ice cream, and other things that needed to be put away, and garbage that needed to be picked up.

"Cat, you let Charlene and I worry about all this stuff.  Just take your brother inside and let him rest for a bit.  We don't think it's fair for you to clean up the mess on your own, especially in your condition", Chad assured Firecat as he had already started to gather up some of the loose wrappers in the yard, using a black garbage bag to put them in.

"Yeah, we can handle all of this stuff.  You just go take care of your family and leave the cleaning up to us", Charlene added a moment later, knowing that Kit needed rest and Firecat should stay close to him for the night.  Firecat put her trust in her friends and brought Kit inside, taking him to the master bedroom while Chad, Charlene, Melissa, and her siblings all pitched in to get the yard cleaned up and the leftovers put away in Kit and Firecat's fridge.
