This was his time of the day where he was at his strongest, using his red umbreon eyes to scan through the woods like Night Vision, in search of a juicy rabbit to sink his teeth into and fill his hungry belly. He kept the glow of his yellow rings down, not wanting to tip off any potential prey of his presence as he kept wandering through the woods until he got to a small clearing.\n\nHe stopped dead in his tracks for a moment and watched as he saw a fat male rabbit on a log in the middle of the clearing preening itself. The rabbit appeared like it had a lot of meat on it, making the umbreon male's mouth water excitedly. Furthermore, the rabbit didn't sense the umbreon's presence, worried more about cleaning its fur than potentially being hunted. Meanwhile, the male umbreon had his claws out of all four of his paws and got set to dart out after the rabbit as he noticed that there was a single puffy cloud about to cover the full moon and kill the moonlight for a brief time.\n\nHe waited and watched both the rabbit and the cloud, eager to pounce on his target and fill his stomach with warm rabbit meat. Then, as the cloud blotted out the moon, the umbreon darted out of his hiding spot, catching the rabbit by complete surprise as its vision was impaired by the sudden darkness. All the rabbit could do is shriek out in terror for a few seconds just before the umbreon pounced it, bit its neck and flung it hard against the ground several times, ending the rabbit's life.\n\nNow that his quarry was freshly killed, he started to rip into its lifeless carcass, filling his belly with the warmth of rabbit meat as the moon reappeared from behind the cloud. The umbreon savored the taste of rabbit flesh and blood, having it all over its nuzzle as he gorged upon it, making sure to get as much to eat as he could before the smell of the fresh kill attracted others. Then, once he had finished, he left what remained of the rabbit behind after eating all the good parts, letting the scavengers have what was leftover as he now felt thirsty after his meal.\n\nHe made his way to a nearby pond and drank from the cool water, washing the blood off his nuzzle at the same time as the cool water helped the male enjoy his meal more. With his belly full and the night being young, he felt proud of himself and held his umbreon tail high while his yellow rings finally blazed forth with their glow. Now, there was something else on his mind, something that had been on his mind since last Spring when he first became an umbreon...finding a mate to accept his seed. Tonight, was a bit different though.\n\nShe couldn't sleep, there was a fire that had been burning inside her for weeks and it was keeping her awake. At this point in the spring, most female eevolutions would either be out of heat or already pregnant. However, this female espeon was different. She was a young female, only becoming sexually mature over the winter. As such, she had felt the intense burning of her vulva continue for weeks on end, even after most other females had been bred and the male foxes stopped showing interest in sex. She was beginning to think that she'd likely go without a mate this year. Within a few moments, the umbreon's ears trembled and he let out a sneeze before lifting his head, trying to get a better smell.\n\nThe wind blew at his face again, this time carrying even more of the female's aroma with it as he sniffed at it curiously and began to murr. He knew right away that this was the scent of a female in heat, sensing his umbreon cock beginning to come out of his sheath and his curiosity driving him to follow that smell. He waited and watched both the rabbit and the cloud, eager to pounce on his target and fill his stomach with warm rabbit meat.  Then, as the cloud blotted out the moon, the umbreon darted out of his hiding spot, catching the rabbit by complete surprise as its vision was impaired by the sudden darkness.  All the rabbit could do is shriek out in terror for a few seconds just before the umbreon pounced it, bit its neck and flung it hard against the ground several times, ending the rabbit's life.

Now that his quarry was freshly killed, he started to rip into its lifeless carcass, filling his belly with the warmth of rabbit meat as the moon reappeared from behind the cloud.  The umbreon savored the taste of rabbit flesh and blood, having it all over its nuzzle as he gorged upon it, making sure to get as much to eat as he could before the smell of the fresh kill attracted others.  Then, once he had finished, he left what remained of the rabbit behind after eating all the good parts, letting the scavengers have what was leftover as he now felt thirsty after his meal.
