"writing": "It was an absolutely silent drive as Keith took his son towards the center of the city where the police station was. He had been called a few hours before and been requested to bring his son in to make a statement and answer questions about issues involving Lake, another student, and their parent. He had been assured that it was supposed to be a simple questioning but when young prey were brought in, they didn't always get to leave. It was all the older squirrel could do to just drive him there trying his best to not consider any possible outcomes.\n\nHe took Lake inside and waited with him in the station entrance just long enough for an officer to show up to take him to the back before he slowly made his way back to his vehicle wondering if this truly was the last time he would see his son.. \n\nAs it happened Mr. Turner had filed charges both for him and his son for physical and criminal damages which is what caused Lake to ended spending more than an hour having to repeat himself over an over to the two officers questioning him across a cold metal table in a small box of a room, while sitting on equally cold hard chairs.\n\n“Okay, let's tryyy starting back at the beginning, alright.” The raccoon stated. Lake was more than fed up the the others words, attitude, and full demeanor which was barely above baby talk loaded with unneeded explanations implying the rodent couldn't understand otherwise. That had started after he claimed not to remember what had happened to Marcus in the bathroom. He had tried at first to be polite and firm, only saying what he had told his principal. The squirrel was really curious about why they had no information besides what Mr. Turner had claimed, hadn't they checked with the school. The officers had stated that there was an attack in the restroom and that Lake had deliberately injured the other student implying that he had attacked the cat outright without reason. Not that it was far from the truth but they were going off one statement, without any real evidence, only thing they knew for sure was something had happened in the bathroom and one student was hurt.\n\nThe squirrel watched the other officer for a moment, who was a rather small, but was a perfectly cut and colored Doberman, the canine had spoken less than Lake and he had deliberately been keeping his answers short. Trying to keep things together and his emotions controlled Lake tried a new tactic. “The beginning? Okay my name is Lake Smalert and I would like to be told why I'm here and what is going on.”\n\n“Enough games!” The raccoon finally seemed to lose a little bit. “You brained a fellow student then threw his father down the stairs when he was trying to talk with you.”\n\n“Brained?” Lake asked, “Like his head was bashed in?” Seeing the other sneer he felt like he might make this all work. “When I came in they said he was bonked on the head. You guys said he was hit. But now you said he was brained, I'm guess that was messy and bloody. Funny how I didn't have a drop of blood on me and I know my teacher could tell you I wasn't gone long enough to bash someone's brains in. I don't understand why I'm here for something I didn't do, the school didn't seem to have a problem with what I told them.”\n\n“How can we be sure you did nothing.” The canine stated firmly. “You don't remember what happened only that he walked in on you and then you were back in class.”\n\n“That is not what I said. You know I understand Mr Turner lying, but the police should stick with facts. I told you he laughed when I asked him if he could wait until I was finished peeing, and YES I do remember that part! He was trying to hunt me obviously so why did things end up like this?” Lake stopped staring at both officers. He had planned on waiting them out but couldn't stop himself from continuing. “Simple if you had looked at his grades you would realize he basically failed Pred class. Also why are you not even considering there might have been someone else in the bathroom?” This time he did wait seeing the Doberman's frown like he was considering something, the raccoon looked as snide as ever. \n\n“As for his father he was chasing me, I have the torn backpack and the principal can definitely attest to him charging out of the office after me. I ran up three flights of stairs with him just barely missing getting his CLAWS into me on the third floor I kept running and hid in the fourth floor bathroom. I can only guess he slipped and fell.” His answer didn't seem to change much of either of their demeanor. “Can we get this over with?” Lake asked standing up getting both officers jump up.\n\n“Sir you need to sit down.” The canine firmly stated.\n\n“Or what, am I some danger now? I can prove my point if you both, if you will allow it then we can make this whole stupid thing be over. You!” He pointed to the raccoon. “Could you just step over here.” It took several seconds but the officer seemed willing after a moment. “Now I'm gonna push you!” Lake stated even as he stepped forward to shove against the officer who quickly grabbed his shoulders holding him back. “Now let go and I'll try even harder, not that you really moved.” The others sudden big grin and step back which made Lake feel like he made a serious miscalculation. Hopefully his partner wasn't going to allow him to be hurt. Lake took two quick steps back but even as he started running forward the other grabbed an arm flipping him around and ran him forward slamming him into a wall several feet away.\n\n“Now you've done it little tree rat. Assaulting an officer is a serious crime, I don't even need to take you to holding.” The chuckle was mean and Lake leaned against the wall trying to turn his head enough to look over at the canine. \n\n“Are you as absolutely stupid like him?” The rooms door slammed open as a large cougar strode in. “LET HIM GO!”\n\n“SIR! He attacked me!”\n\n“So what if I did, I thought you already said I brained one cat into the hospital, then had the power to throw another cat down the stairs. I tried to shove you AND jumped at you and you barely even moved! HOW THE HELL DID I THROW A CAT DOWN THE STAIRS!!” Lake shouted out even while being pressed harder into the wall.\n\n“Let him up.” The Doberman stated firmly going so far as to lay a paw on the others shoulders. “There is no real evidence that he harmed another student merely speculation, his father's statement isn't facts. Also his story is that Mr. Turner was chasing him and he slipped and fell on the stairs, while he was trying to grab him. That is the same story he told both the hospital and others before filing the complaint yesterday. Tell me Officer Canaal did it seem like that squirrel was lying?”\n\n“What that he can't remember.” The raccoon stated giving one more shove into the wall before stepping back. “That is certainly a lie.”\n\n“Can you prove it? Is there evidence? Was he traumatized?” His partner demanded.\n\n“That is enough.” The cougar spoke. “None of us is qualified to answer that question which is why he gets his own counselor to talk with, they will find out if he can remember or not. Lake Smalert your father is waiting in his vehicle I'll escort you there an explain what's going to happen.” \n\nThe squirrel was escorted down two hallways and out a door into a parking lot where he was placed inside his father's Jeep. “Mr. Smalert you will be contacted by a counselor who will set up several sessions for your son. Not to worry we have several very qualified acceptable safe people for you to work with.” The other spoke looking directly at Lake this time. \n\n“What, someone who eats me if I don't say the right things?” Lake stated.\n\n“Oh no. I can think of a wonderful little mouse lady who would be happy to work with you, however Lake if she somehow believes you aren't stable I'm afraid you might end up somewhere you don't want to be, but as long as you go through with the sessions there is nothing else that will likely happen. I also doubt that Mr. Turners claim is going to go very far either since his accounts contradict the first statement he gave. His son remembers nothing and there is no real evidence supporting you injuring him beyond you both going to the bathroom. That and it seems your school feels that the incident was normal and there was no reason to make any reports.” He finished.\n\n“It is Callent.” Lake half scoffed before the officer turned away.\n\nHis father didn't start the car and Lake sat there for several minutes refusing to look at him. “Just take me home.” He finally said.\n\n“Now do you see why you can't fight?” The older squirrel asked him. \n\n'NOT TRUE!' He shouted back in his mind. It was obvious they weren't going to do anything to him, prey that escapes isn't responsible. “So do I get a 24th birthday party if I make it or are you kicking me out?” His father's sigh was the only response as he drove them home. That changed the moment they got in the door as his father ordered him to sit on the couch. It was a long one sided conversation that was explained to Lake as he listened over and over how violence wasn't going to get him anywhere, in fact it was going to cause more actions like today if people had to go after him legally. He endured it, keeping the tears off his face as his father had stopped several times to wipe his own away. \n\nEven with all his father was saying Lake still loved him, he hated what was happening but knew he would never do what his father wanted, there was just no way he would ever give in. In the end when he was stood up and hugged for nearly a minute Lake told him, “I can't promise, I won't even promise to try. I won't ever give up trying to live. And if you have to kick me out then I'm sorry that is what you have to do.”\n\n“I should never have said that Lake. I would never force you out of the house. But I can't protect you, there is nothing I can do but watch. And I can't, I don't want to see you taken piece by piece.” His father reached behind him to grab his half tail before he pulled him even tighter sobbing onto his son's shoulder. Lake grabbed a hold of his father as well feeling for the first time in years a connection that he had always thought was long gone. \n\n“I promise to Live. I'll keep coming home, its all I've ever wanted and its all I ever wanted from you.” Lake was actually starting to hurt from the arms around him feeling like he might actually be crushed. “You can always come home.” The muffled nearly garbled words came out. “It's just so hard, every day, wondering, if you will.” Lake wanted to say more but the lack of breathable space and the lump in his throat along with the water in his eyes kept him silent.\n\nIt was Wednesday of the next week and Lake, Argent, and Jayra were eating lunch on the front lawn near both the sidewalk and wall of the school. It was now claimed as their regular spot with the squirrel actually sitting on the wall for the first ten minutes of lunch being extra careful because he felt that the longer lunch ran the less likely he would be attacked. There had only been one big incident so far which happened the day before between forth and fifth periods. Lake had gone into the hall almost reaching his locker only to be crashed into from behind. He stumbled forward until he fell already twisting and trying to roll away.\n\n“Not so, AaahhH!” The cry turned into a snarl as Lake bit into the others paw the closest thing he could reach as he tried to use his own paws to jab at the canine's chest. Still growling the dog lunged at Lake jaws open as the squirrel twisted allowing the other a side bite that just caught the upper part of his arm. It might have gone worse from there, he had gotten one arm free enough to grab the others ear trying to pull but he wasn't able to stop the jaws that turned towards his neck. The only reason the second bite wasn't given was that Nathen's head snapped back as Argent came charging forward swinging a pack and connecting with the other canine. It was enough to shift the bodies and Lake was able to claw and wriggle enough to roll out as the collie took a second wild pack swing before turning to try and help the squirrel up.\n\n“You're both DEAD!” Nathen snarled getting back to his feet. He wasn't a muscled dog just a large mutt that had nearly a full head on Argent and a bit more muscles. The collie's growl sounded weaker than the dog and he knew this wasn't good since Lake still hadn't made it back to his feet, trembling next to him squatted down. What both canines had assumed was that the rodent was no longer a threat, in fact the entire gathered group that was watching the two dogs, as Nathen advanced, didn't include Lake as a participant. \n\nLake though was far from out, his tail was surprisingly still behind him as he had both paws near his chest hunched down. Waiting, tensed, quivering; Argent stepped forward to meet his opponent at the same time Lake launched his body at Nathen. Far faster than either canine the squirrel slammed both paws into Nathen's center. He had done it a few times before, a quick lightening move with an even faster get away to a safe spot. This time though there was no way he was running, with the same speed he kicked out at both of the canines lower legs then threw himself at the upper body sending his opponent stumbling backwards and falling on his ass. The third kick went to the head, connecting with the others muzzle getting a yelp before the growl started again.\n\nLake had no wish to step closer but before he could make a decision Argent leapt forward with a kick knocking the other to his back and after several more kicks to the side, the other curled into a ball. “Anyone Else!?” Lake spoke out his voice easily heard with the stunned silence his sudden attack had caused. Before he had attacked, many of those who were watching had offered growls or chuffs to the canines as they faced off, but now, not even one made a noise. What had seemed like a simple hallway meal turned into a fight that was suddenly flipped on its head as the squirrel stared down the entire hall of students. \n\n“Fucking Ass.” Lake's attention was drawn to the speaker who had come forward giving a kick to the downed canine that had been aimed at the groin. Two more joined in taking a swipe or kick as the bell rang and suddenly the crowd began melting and within a moment there were now six standing over Nathen and Argent had moved back to the squirrel's side giving a light tug to the rodent's arm. What struck Lake as odd a moment later was the fact he realized they were all female. When he first started Callent he had considered it mainly a boys school seeing only a few females, now he understood differently since only one of the ladies present was wearing some form of females clothing. She was the one who addressed Lake. “You should leave. We have more than a bit of business to work out here.”\n\n“Why?” Was his simple question. He hadn't been expecting help but even as he spoke there were another two females running down the stairs to join the group. They had Nathen seated leaning against the lockers with a pink leash wrapped around his muzzle. “This dick deserves it!” One leather encased poodle spoke giving a kick. “I thought he had only screwed one or two others not a fucking group!”\n\n“Lake class!” Argent hissed at him giving another small tug to the rodents arm. “Thanks!” Lake finally offered to the girl who was closest.\n\nBefore he even turned to leave one took a step towards him yelling. “HEY Lake! You should know this shithole isn't the only one who thinks a hallway pounce might work now.”\n\nHis answer was slow, walking sideways to scoop up his pack and slipping an arm inside and drawing out the same table leg he had kept close on several days. He gave it one twirl before finally speaking never letting his eyesight off the other. “Any time you're ready.”\n\n“Oh I like it! Maybe we can get you a riders crop and some leathers, and a hell of a lot of brass zippers!” She said acting like she pulled an imaginary slide all the way down the side of her chest. Argent pulled on his shoulder again as Lake was left trying to figure out if she was serious as she sounded. “Class!” He nearly barked trying to get Lake to move. He spared one last glance at Nathen seeing the leash now wrapped around his throat as well with two females feet pressing him against the the lockers. Not seeing a reason to stay both boys bolted for the stairs on the far side running up two flights to get to Mr Lantor's class.\n\n“Wait.” Lake said just before Argent had a chance to open the door. Checking himself over he did see his arm was bleeding slightly. Two deep puncture marks and a few smaller ones stood out where the dog's canines and other teeth had gone in. “Shit.”\n\n“Got it.” The collie stated opening the door and in just a moment their teacher came out. \n\n“Umm. The principal never told me exactly what an injury is. Is this alright?” Lake asked wondering if he wasn't going to have to run and hid for his last period.\n\n“I believe ANY injury requires you to be seen by a teacher or head to the office.” The pine martin already had a padded patch with a cloth which he quickly bandaged the wound with. “That I definitely consider an injury, go to the office and report this. Is your, adversary bleeding?”\n\n“Definitely, I know his muzzle is but he's tied up at the moment by some others.” Lake quickly answered. \n\n“Very well.” Was all his teacher said before stepping back into class.\n\nLake took his time heading down stairs and seeing no one on the second floor he stopped at his locker and carefully hid the table leg behind everything hoping that no one was going to check after this incident. After that he stepped in the office and had to deal with a suddenly irritated secretary who immediately ordered him back to class. It wasn't until Lake demanded to see the principal and pointed out rule four did she finally get up and walk down the hall knocking loudly on the office door getting Mr. Horvis to pop his head out.\n\nIt took him only a second to inspect Lake's injury before telling him that they had gone over this even if he hadn't understood. The principal laid out the specifics, he was not allowed to bleed or leave a trail of blood. “Where did this happen?” Mr Horvis asked.\n\n“Near my locker.” \n\nThe principal went to the phone and punched out a number waiting a good thirty seconds before issuing orders. “Parkus check the second floor from the middle up to the forth... Lake which stairs?” He stopped to grab the information. With Lake pointing he continued, “East side stairs, there might be a small blood trail.”\n\nHe came back looking Lake over a bit more intently before addressing the secretary. “Margret would you please..” “Hell no!” She answered before he was even finished moving back to sit at her desk. The principal had the slightest of frowns before waving Lake to follow. He was taken down the hall, around the corner and to the last room in the office which turned out to be what looked like a small clinic room. “Understand Lake I can not allow you to drip blood around the school because it might actually cause a fight among those who will suddenly see an easy target. You need to come to the office first or find a teacher to bandage you immediately. NO one is going to follow a blood trail that leads to the office, but one heading upstairs, that will have everyone's attention.”\n\nLake's wound was cleaned with something that had him grinding his teeth and trying not to scream when it was squirted inside each hole before water was flushed in afterwards calming the fires burn but left it stinging worst than when he had been bitten. A simple bandage on top of that and Lake was ordered to wait where he was until the last bell.\n\nThat now left him hopping off the wall at lunch the next day planning heavily with both Argent and Jayra once he started eating. She had already told him that morning that Nathen had not been seen in his fifth class and hadn't shown up to school that day. She had spent some time with him that morning dropping him off at his first class just seconds before the bell pointing out what she thought were significant traps and dangers. Now at lunch both his friends were rattling off things he already knew but also trying to offer him ideas on where he might go if things got bad. Most of that concerned other teachers and their attitudes towards previous prey students. They had all quickly agreed Ms. Kavala was his best bet who would likely send him to the office or call it in. He had suggested Mr. Talkin though Jayra warned heavily against it. “It would have to be your very last choice, and it might be.” She told him frankly, Lake actually agreed with that, but among other teachers it seemed slightly less deadly. Both Argent and the feline had offered a teacher neither of whom he knew and they both promised to try and introduce him as soon as possible. \n\n“Hey Lake?” The statement was quiet but the paw on his leg interrupted his thoughts entirely. Jayra put out a shy smile. “If you wanted, if your dad wanted to wait to pick you up, would you wanna stop by my house after school? I just live over a few blocks and if we go after school tomorrow my mom won't be home until late. She's trying to find someone to watch me but everyone is busy this time.”\n\nThe little twitches the squirrel gave had nothing to do with his tail. “I, uh, I don't think so.”\n\n“Is it because of him?” She asked pointing at Argent. The collie hadn't mentioned anything about the attack since it had happened but he had asked earlier today and Lake had agreed that he could come over on Sunday, he had even promised to think about making a full claim on the canine. That promise obviously showed in the collie who ducked his head down embarrassed. “You aren't into girls are you.” She stated\n\n“I didn't say that!” He quickly protested wondering why everyone jumped to conclusions on his preferences.\n\n“But you let Argent come to your house and he's giving you those puppy eyes. It's what everyone is thinking now.”\n\n“I know.” Lake said actually sounding slightly depressed. \n\n“Well I can't come over to your house and if you don't want to come over to mine that's fine, but understand I won't make this offer again. I can't promise you safety if you did show up at my house, but it should be a better chance for you then running blind, if you really need it.” She finished. \n\nLake sat there uncomfortable, he had no wish to make her mad in any way, everything she had suggested had made sense and several were things he had already decided himself. “I don't know if I can. Besides trying to make an excuse for my dad won't be easy, ya know.”\n\n“What that I might eat you? Come on you've seen my pathetic lunches and I told you I'm not much into the pure meat if that's what's bothering you. And if you really are worried I'll make sure it's more safe, we can keep it a short little meeting. Sit down, talk, and you can tell your dad to pick you up at five.” It was complete silence for the next several minutes until the bell rang and they began to grab their stuff. “Yes or No Lake. You have to tell me by the end of school, I'll wait in the entrance way.\n\nArgent followed him inside stopping at the second floor with him. “It doesn't effect me at all alright. I'll be yours no matter what happens.” The words were caught by several ears that were close by, and the collie quickly ducked across the hall and headed up one floor. Lake was also left blushing at the curious stares he received as he quickly moved away. \n\nHe spend his next two classes in a bit of turmoil. He really wasn't afraid of Jayra, and it wouldn't be that hard for him to get away from her, she wasn't that strong or quick and he felt he could beat her in both areas. The squirrel was more worried about her ambushing him with her entire family but that seemed, unreal somehow. When Mr Lantor asked him a question in his last class Lake sat up straight and gave a good answer making sure to nod at his teacher when he was done to prove he was paying attention which gave him an idea for after class.\n\nHe stepped up to his teacher's desk slowly as most of the students rushed out for the day. He waited another minute until the only other student left was Argent who was waiting at the door. “Mr. Lantor are you willing to give me some advice?”\n\nThe pine martin glanced at the door and back to the squirrel shaking his head, “Some things should be kept private.” he stated firmly.\n\nLake did sort of a grin, maybe out of relief, he wasn't quite sure. “No Argent wasn't the question. There is this girl, and, and she asked me to her house, when no one else will be home.”\n\n“Dare I ask if she is also a student here?” Lake nodded slightly. It was a big sigh the male gave leaning back into his chair. “There is no advice I can give you that you don't already know. The only thing I can add is that something like that will likely change your life in ways you can't even guess. Even if she is true and sincere, that will change you too. Only other thing I'll add is this will disappoint Master Horvis because every relationship at this school between students like yourself and others has ended the same way. You should know exactly what is coming.” He sat there staring for a moment before adding. “Is your father here?”\n\nLake checked the window, grabbed his pack, and headed for the door. Just outside in the hallway he stopped and turned to Argent who seemed to be staring intently at the floor with his head lowered. The seconds past and the squirrel could almost believe the collie might start whining before he lifted a paw to pat the others head getting a explosive wag of response. He turned with an excited, wiggling, canine behind him and finally decided he was going to have to trust others with his life if he really was going to survive long enough to make it through school, after all he already owed Argent that much and no matter how bizarre it seemed to him it was obviously what the canine truly wanted.\n\nThat was why he told Jayra 'Yes.' when she stepped up next to him holding the door open so they could slip out. He needed to be able to trust her and better to find out sooner if she was going to try and make a meal out of him. Convincing is dad though would take a lot more effort. He started with asking if Argent could come over in the afternoon on Sunday. “Same one as before?”\n\n“Yes.” Lake answered quickly. “I could use some friends to hang out with.” He added on when his father hadn't responded right away.\n\n“I know, and it's going to be hard on you. I spoke with a few other parents... To be honest none of them are interested in having you over or letting you keep a relationship with their kids. Even Micheal.”\n\n“Really!? Is he alright?”\n\n“His mother was, well lets say she was extremely upset I had called. He evidently received breeder status and transferred to a private school about the same time you did. She had already told Micheal you were gone and hung up telling me never to call back.” It was mildly upsetting. Both young squirrels had grown up as little kids on the same street and even when Micheal had moved they had still gone to the same school and had the occasional day or overnight stay, that was until Lake had been attacked the first time. \n\n“So can he come over? You can go grocery shopping if you want.” Lake caught the very puzzled glance from his father and he tried to keep a smile on.\n\n “Something I should know about?” His father questioned.\n\n“At the moment, no.” He stated as they pulled into the driveway. “He knocked some guy off me at school and I trust him.”\n\n“Trust will be the claws you never see.” A saying every young prey were taught from the time they started learning the truth of the world. The two hadn't moved for several moments before the older squirrel turned the jeep off. “Are you really, ready to risk you life in his hands?”\n\n“Compared to the other students or faculty he's the only one... except for maybe one other.” Seeing his father had made no move to get out he continued. “I was wondering if you would write me a note for my teacher saying you'll pick me up at their house instead of at school. I won't stay long, just a hour or two and you can pick me up at six.”\n\n“And who is this?” \n\n“Someone I want to trust but don't quite yet. I can introduce you tomorrow.” Lake offered.\n\n“Where do they live?”\n\n“Its, uhh, A couple of streets over from the school.” Lake was taking his time to answer each question trying to not let anything slip about how the person was female.\n\n“No! I'm still your father Lake and this doesn't sound the least bit safe. Honestly I'm surprised you even asked, you have never done something so stupid before.” There was a sort of question hanging in the air and Lake again answered slowly.\n\n“There is a lot going on. There's no way I can keep an eye out all the time, Argent and maybe some others really aren't interested in eating me. No I can't guarantee that they aren't interested in me but the house is close to school and they've given me some really good advice. I'd rather try and check it out now and see, rather then have to run there when I might really be in trouble. Could you just think about it?” Lake asked moving to get out.\n\nHis father was still adamant the next morning, but that meant he was able to tell Jayra he did try when he found her after first period. “Any chance you might go anyways?” They both knew the answer as he shook his head, beyond not having a ride home both knew he would lose his protection if his father was left waiting outside after school with Lake already gone. He couldn't tell if she was upset as she shrugged and walked off.\n\n“Lake pick up your things.” Mrs. Kavala spoke holding out the yellow slip that had just been dropped off at her desk. His tail was ticking even before he had stood up. It was ten minutes before the class ended. He knew Argent had an outdoor class behind the school and Jayra was on the second floor. The squirrel walked slowly to the office thinking, sure the idea of him shouting out a code word in the hall was a good idea to try and find some help but Lake doubted it was going to be very effective in getting anything except more trouble, like punishment for disrupting a class. Besides at the moment he was worried the feline wouldn't even try to get out of class if he did call out to her. \n\n“Took you long enough.” The secretary sneered pointing to the phone on the counter as he walked in. “Hello?” Lake asked\n\n“Lake, are you sure you want to do this. I have to drive Carla and her daughter to the hospital as soon as she's ready. I think I might get back before school got out but this is going to take a while.” His father rattled off.\n\n“So I can go?” Lake asked surprised.\n\n“NO. I only asked if you're sure you want to go. Where does he live?” Lake paused wondering what to say.\n\n“I don't know, only that they live a few streets over.”\n\n“Do you realize how dangerous this is?” His father asked very quietly.\n\n“Ya dad I know, but I'd rather find out now, run back to school and climb a wall or something then find out later.” The young squirrel explained.\n\n“I'll be at the school at six pm. I'm not going to wait long so make sure you're there, understood!?”\n\n“I promise dad.” After that it was only a matter of getting the irritated canine to listen to his father's explanation, which she actually seemed to enjoy doing, once she realized what was up, which got her to write out a note for Mr. Lantor allowing him to leave class when it was over. He hurried back upstairs and slipped into Mrs Callor class several minutes late, but besides the questioning look she gave nothing happened as Lake quickly made his way to his seat. \n\nJayra met Lake in the hallway after his last class having told her at lunch that he had permission to go. She took him out the smaller of the two back doors under the east side stairs and into the yard area he had seen from above several times but hadn't yet had a reason to check out. The squirrel watched as she pointed out the small cafeteria and plastic bench tables that were placed near the wall under an awning. Otherwise the whole back side was nothing more than hard packed dirt, around two acres, that was enclosed by the five foot stone wall that encompassed the school. Another thing he had never noticed was the large double hinged wood gate that was standing open, several tire ruts led to the cafeteria showed him what it was used for. “The gates only open after school.” She stated as they walked through. “Not that the wall is much of an issue.” She continued grinning at him.\n\nIt didn't take long for them to walk to her house, just down to the corner, crossing both walkways, up one block, then turn and down a block and a half to a small, plain two bedroom house. There was barely enough space in the front room for the couch and dining table that sat half way between the front room and the kitchen, Jayra took off her backpack and tossed it to the couch. As she took Lake's pack she asked, “So what do you want to do first?” \n\n“I don't know, what would you...” The tabby had grabbed the squirrel's arm and pulled him into a hug staring at him as he started talking, she stopped him with the lightest kiss on his muzzle before snuggling in against his body. \n\n“I'm all about the bad boys Lake, and you are a bad boy with out even trying to be one.” He shivered as she gave the lightest of purrs hugging closely and nuzzling up his neck.\n\n“Well I uhh, I think the bedroom is better right?” What else could he say, this was only his second encounter and his first had barely been two weeks before. He returned the hug stepping just a bit closer so she could lean against his body. Jayra's arms ran up his back to his neck as she continued to snuggle under his chin purring louder as her mouth suddenly went from rubbing to wide open pinching into his neck while her claws gripped firmly at his scruff preventing him from moving away.\n\nFor a few seconds his tail went wild, his own paws grabbed her shirt but with the pressure she applied he knew there was nothing he could do when she closed her jaws. Caught, trapped, pinned... it was over. The squirrel went slack nearly forcing the tabby to support his weight as his hopes, dreams, his entire life came to an end. \n\n\n\n\n\nHe stayed completely still as she continued purring slowly growing louder to the point where he could feel her pleasure vibrating through his being giving him an odd sort of comfort. He had gotten so caught up in his final acceptance he failed to notice that one of her paws had gotten the front of his shorts open. It wasn't until her hand slid into his boxers and he tensed up with her first grope did he realize something else was up. When he tried pulling back though a growl popped up and both paws and her jaws tightened up. He let out a shrill whimper of pain and tried to swallow finding that nearly impossible with her jaw squeezing the front of his neck. He could feel moisture tricking down to his shoulder from what must be his own blood where her fangs had sunk in and once again went limp, slowly her purr returned.\n\nHe was still trapped, cornered, and awaiting death, but as Jayra toyed with his penis and got a slow reaction from his body he began to wonder if maybe he would make it through the next moment. The squirrel kept his body frozen and unmoving as her other paw went down as well slowly disrobing his lower half and when he was free one paw took a firm grip on his shaft while the other clutched his nuts before she finally eased the pressure against his throat. A knowledgeable squeeze brought out an 'Eerk' from the squirrel and a smile from the feline as she finally released his neck.\n\n“You are very fun Lake. I've enjoyed every moment of this. You really should be glad I don't like an ugly mess because I was tempted to feel your end. Now here is what is going to happen. I'll let go and you can follow me to my room. After you pleasure me we can have a little fun then clean up and head back to school. I still feel like warning you though, sure you can run, without your pants, and I'll chase you. And when I catch you I will still have my fun and kill you. No one is going to say anything, as long as I kill my prey right? I doubt most people will even give a second look since we are still so close to Callent.” She paused giving another small meaningful squeeze and getting a pained groan before finally letting his privates go. “From now on you will do what I tell you. I don't want some other lady trap picking you off or some idiot thinking you'll feed their stomach. I am going to work you till I know you'll stay safe and in return you are going to satisfy some of my needs, including being my prey. You don't have a choice or say in this, and if you don't do what I say, I will kill you.” She snuggled up close to his neck again gently licking away at the blood and wounds she had caused. \n\nThere was nothing Lake could do. She was nothing like the tabby he had come to know. Every part of her seemed to understand him, and right now she had a stronger hold on him than she had on his nut sack a moment before. His response was a small little nod. \n\n“Good!” She smiled bright and cheery just like she did at school. “You'll never make it alone Lake, you already know that, and you can't trust anyone that you don't have control of, or has control of you.” She reached out moving to pull his shirt over his head. “I want you to claim the collie. I can tell he's eager for it and you need to train him properly.” She stated. \n\nLake shivered as her claw traveled through his chest fur drawing patterns against his skin. “Sunday, he's coming over Sunday.” He gasped clamping his mouth shut as her claws dug into his side.\n\n“NO TAIL!!!” She growled snatching his half tail and yanking. “This is your weakness! It shows everything about you. Flick Flick Flick! You will do it all the time or not at all understand?!”\n\n“Yes.” He spoke almost squeaking.\n\n“Good.” Her purr was back nuzzling at his neck before licking his chin. “I heard about your fight with Nathen. Do you know why everyone thought you were done? Because here was this little squirrel knocked to the floor shivering so bad he couldn't even move his tail. No one realized you didn't need it, not even yourself. You will stop using your tail and start using your senses. Everything around you is dangerous and you need to make sure you are more so. Don't worry I'll teach you what you need to remember. I'll even take it easy on you for right now, but you will learn to be my little pet. You're going to please me, learn how to care for that dog, and get all the knowledge you need to avoid all those traps at school. One thing though, Lake if you don't do everything I say you will die.” She paused until he gave a little jerking head nod. “Now you're going to start, by picking me up and carrying me to my bed, and hurry up or you won't have enough time for any fun.”\n\nHe struggled to carry the feline the short distance to her room kneeling down before her bed, between her legs as ordered. He spent more than twenty minutes learning how to nuzzle, lick, rub, and nibble at her privates before the feline finally exploded having nearly crammed his muzzle inside her snatch while both claws had a tender grip on his ears forcing him forward. He kept silent on the floor knowing not to question as she opened up her bed and laid out two towels folding them in half to make a sort of cushion. “Alright up on the bed. I'm not sure how much of a mess you make but if my mother catches anything I'm dead... Or that's what I should tell you.” She leaned down hooking one claw under his chin and drawing him to his feet. “My mother doesn't really give a shit about me or what I do. Dad would of course would freak out but that's why I chose mother.” Gone again was any semblance of the female he had chosen to trust with his life, replaced by something that made him shiver deep on the inside. “No tail Lake, or will I already have to punish you.” He had barely even brought his tail up to it's full height but instead allowed it to make one curved upward arc slowly letting it fall instead of continuing. “It will be hard I know. Why don't you try tracing a letter with your tail instead until you can control it, but,” She looked at him square in the eyes, “I will take one bone piece off your tail each time I see any pattern or reason to those letters.”\n\nLake struggled with everything as the realization set in, she was in control, no that wasn't even right, she was an artist about to create a new piece out of his soul and body. The trembling started and she allowed him to shake gently pulling him forward purring her way through pleasure that he couldn't possibly understand. She only allowed a few minutes before suddenly giving his body a hard squeeze while her rasping tongue lick right over his sensitive nose. “Enough! You deserve some pleasure for what you've done so far and we have, maybe an hour or so left so into bed. After he had laid down on the pad of towels she rolled him on his side before she climbed in and worked herself between his arms with her back towards him. The feline raised a leg bending it at the knee before reaching a hand past her privates finding him still having a decent erection. “Your turn Lake. I'll let you take me as fast or slow as you want but I suggest some quickness. After all we're doing more than snuggling once you're done.” \n\nThe squirrel took the advice finding his way inside and thrusting firmly into her warmth setting a fast pace. She was warm, nearly hot and rubbed and twitched against his body making him hold tighter and move faster. Part of him knew this was still how she wanted things to go but there was pleasure in this, a great amount that left him grappling against her body and gripping tight trying to reach his peak. When his orgasm hit he half rolled on top driving in against her body and spewing loads of cum from his nuts just like a rodent feeling immense pleasure that helped to mute the terror he had felt as many parts of his body and mind finally succumb to a moment of bliss and nothingness. Her purr was the first thing he felt coming back, it was so comforting feeling his body slightly vibrate as he rested. He knew it would please her so he dipped his muzzle down and licked her cheek several times getting the purr to intensify. \n\n“Roll back a little but don't pull out.” She told him reaching toward the nightstand next to her bed. The first thing she grabbed was a washcloth sticking it between her legs against him. When her hand went back it was to grab a pamphlet and hold it so he could see. “Callent's rules for new students.” She told him reading off the cover. Inside was filled with information on what was required for all students, much of which she had already told him but parts were still shocking to actually see written down on paper. Acceptable behavior, requirements, potential punishments, even a set learning curve was laid out in the book making everything clear with hinted consequences for failure. Also included was the advisory at the end which parents were suppose to sign and send back with the student. \n\nIt stated: Your student is required to attend Callent every day unless a suitable reason is given. Your student is required to follow all rules within the handbook. Your student will learn and pass each grade every year or be required to take a special class to advance the grade. All students whom are unwilling to, or unable to graduate will no longer be taught in any school.\n\nWhen she was done reading she rolled out of bed passing the pamphlet over and headed for the small bathroom in the hall. “Come on Lake, we have to hurry up.”\n\nJayra opened the Jeep door and ruffled his hair with a little kiss on the cheek laughing as she pushed the squirrel inside. He had kept silent as she introduced herself and even explained the gauze she had wrapped around his neck. She told his father that she had been a little too playful but swore that was all it would ever be. She also gave her address and phone number stating that Lake was safe at her house in an emergency. The both knew differently, after they had cleaned up the tabby unleashed more secrets than he though possible. Marcus was her brother and Renald her father. Her parents were divorced and she personally didn't give a crap about either parent or any of her family, but it didn't stop there, not by a long shot. Everything had been a lie, including the fact she had been expelled twice and her mother had moved here three years ago so she could attend Callent, her brother was only transferred because their father hoped she would help raise his failing grades. He didn't catch it all, who could, when an entire new life was dropped on you in less than twenty minutes on their walk back to school and the time they waited for his father. The nice innocent kitty was an entire front that she hid behind not even sharing her true nature with her family. “Mother thinks I'm a little rebellious but that I have settled down a bit and that is because its what I want her to think.” It was the first thing she had told him leaving her house but it was the opening of an entire life he couldn't have guessed at.\n\nLake's father didn't speak until they pulled into the driveway. “I didn't think bandages were a part of your promise, what did she, you two do?” When the engine went off Lake wondered if his father had waited that long to give his son a chance to talk, or perhaps the chance to just go inside and hid, and he was considering it, after all how much could he tell his dad.\n\n“I know you kinda thought maybe I was going to a guys house and that maybe I was just..”\n\n“LAKE, I don't really care about that, I know how hormones can run, and I can even admit she looks cute, but I want to know about this!” The squirrel flinched before his father's finger got close to his neck. He still wasn't sure how to even feel about it, she could have easily killed him. The more thought he put into it the more upset and unsure he became still trying to deal with everything she told him. \n\n“She wanted to play. Everything, she was is a lie.” He took a deep breath trying to steady himself, “She trapped me plain and simple and understands me better than I could have ever guessed. She could, I really... it just..” He was shaking now unable to continue, he couldn't say she could have killed him or worse that he should be dead. \n\nHis father quickly got out helping his son out of the vehicle and into the house. It was difficult at first for Lake who was suddenly receiving full concern and care that he never expected from his father. In the beginning his father was insisting they call the police to report her actions as a possible crime not even knowing the full extent, just that Lake had admitted she was playing with prey but he also fully objected to his father contacting the police. The story came out slowly and after a while Lake even told his father the full story about Argent. His dad listened, voiced some arguments, but didn't press allowing his son to continue.\n\nIn the end Keith helped his exhausted son to bed, upset and extremely uncomfortable with what he had been told but trying to accept it. There had been so little hope when Sharah had died, and no hope at all for his son once his breeder status had been rejected a second time. In fact he had never expected him to reach his fifteenth birthday let alone nearly seventeen. His son was growing up fighting the entire world that considered him nothing more than an walking entree. The odds were still stacked so high there should be no hope, but each day his son came home from Callent. Keith was surprised that he had felt just a little hope recently, the first time since his son was a small child, that against everything Lake might survive. Maybe there was no way to truly fight and win but he realized his son would fight no matter what and would endure anything to keep going. The older squirrel leaned heavily against the wall knowing that this failure was his, so was everything else that was coming, it was his fault. He should NEVER have allowed Lake to go, being forced to be a living prey for some feline was not just upsetting but an outrage. Somehow though his son saw it as another way to survive, and the dog. He wasn't sure he wanted to think about that relationship yet. Although once again he could easily see why, it was a move alien to rodents, claiming another who would obey and watch your back. For his son it was probably an easy decision to help him survive.\n\nYet was nothing he could do for Lake except let him try. He didn't have the money needed to buy his son protection, couldn't get him breeder status, and had no way to assist him at all. When Keith went to bed that night his sleep was troubled seeing visions of his son's death, only this time there were other bodies around Lake as well. Waking up a second time the older squirrel curled up in the darkness silently crying once again feeling the pain of his loss and the crushing helplessness that always pressed on his soul when he thought of his son.\n\nThe knock on the door late the next morning had the older squirrel open it to a well dressed female mouse who introduced herself as Ms. Klarin who worked for the police department. “Sorry I already told the school he wasn't feeling well today and wouldn't be in, what's this about.”\n\n“Oh, sorry to hear that. Is he at least well enough for introductions and a short visit? Does he often miss school? How long has he been sick?”\n\nRealizing this wasn't about Lake skipping school he simply explained. “It's been a very difficult week. He had an, altercation yesterday with another student and wasn't feeling well this morning. Can we do this another time? I was told you would call and make some appointments before you began interviewing him.” He added on finally realizing why the female was here.\n\n“Well I always do my best to meet each client in person the first time, and today was actually supposed to be with you since I was expecting Lake to be at school. Any chance we might have time to talk for a bit? I'd like to know more of Lake's history and what he's gone through. I was rather surprised pulling out his files and realizing what he's been through, especially when he was young. There might be a real problem if your son was responsible for harming another student and isn't able to recall anything.” The mouse had followed Keith into the house carefully appraising the home she could see.\n\n“Today is not a good day. Yesterday I had an issue with a family friend and helped drive her daughter to the hospital. I was Stupid! I allowed him to see a friend who he was hoping would offer him help if things ever got really bad at school. She lives close and evidently they ended up having sex.” He waited but her only response was 'I see.' Sighing he continued, “She bit his neck, her claim was she was too playful but I feel like it's something more. However Lake will not allow me to call the police.”\n\n“Wow how unexpected. A normal response.” Ms. Klarin stated getting full shock from the squirrel. “Believe me many young teens end up in dangerous relationships and refuse to allow anyone to help. There are many reasons but each of them usually feel like the person they are with is willing to keep them safe or they believe the other doesn't want to eat them. Mr. Smalert I have to ask, how much help do you want for your son? I don't see the point of extending a lot of time and effort to someone who is going to end up a meal for a supposed girlfriend nor am I going to put a lot of effort into checking his mental status if it's going to be wasted.”\n\n“I don't know how to help. He's attending Callent. Can't get breeder status. There is nothing left but let him try to do what he thinks is best.” Keith stated fully defeated.\n\n“Well I admit Callent is an extremely dangerous situation but why do you believe you son can't have breeder status. He obviously has a relationship with a female, is he sterile somehow?” She questioned.\n\n“No they won't let him because of me.”\n\n“Ah, your wife, and you never took another mate. Well that might have been an issue for some before now but I should easily get him protected and transferred out of Callent, honestly they would likely jump at the chance to have two more male breeders if you are willing, currently there is a desperate need. As I asked before let me change it a little, Mr. Smalert how much do you want to help your son?”\n\nKeith couldn't stop from throwing himself at her feet and begging for help. He agreed to everything she said and offered her any help or assistance that she asked for. For the first time since his sons first rejection to being a breeder he felt a true hope of possibilities. Ms. Klarin stayed for nearly and hour discussing what she would do, asking him to keep his son indoors this weekend and possibly out of school Monday if she called and asked him to, Lake slept through the entire thing.\n\n“Dad's gone.” Lake stated opening the door allowing Argent inside. The collie grinned jumping through the door and dropping to crawl into the middle of the living room rolling his pack off to dig inside dragging out a collar and leash. “WAIT!” Lake commanded stopping the other with a hand on his shoulder before squatting down next to the canine. With a careful paw he rubbed the fur on his throat showing the small scabs that his fur mostly hid. He watched as Argent gripped the collar tighter for a moment before letting go. “Jayra?”\n\n“Yes. She wants a prey pet as much a you want me to own you.” He could see the other thinking as he continued. “She caught me, should have killed me. Then made me promise to follow what she tells me so she can train me to avoid traps.”\n\n“She wants me gone.” The words were quiet and Lake could tell they held more loss than he had expected.\n\nNot keeping his friend waiting he pulled the collar out that his father had bought him yesterday. “Lean forward.” Lake stated tapping the others nose before working to unclasp the collar. Argent wiggled as his tail thumped back and forth behind him as he leaned in and tilted his head to the side. “You are going to be mine, and Jayra is going to teach me how to be a good master. She thinks its good for me to own you. I wasn't able to buy this one like she said I should, but I will find you a better one soon.” He added as the collar finally clipped into place and he took a moment to tightened it. As Lake began petting the collie on the head the canine suddenly buried his nose into the squirrel's chest whimpering. “Shhh. It's okay, as long as you're here I can be your owner. At school the three of us will still be friends for now, but I also have to listen to Jayra and do what she says.”\n\n“I don't care as long as I get you. Master.” Argent stated suddenly gripping the squirrel hard around the middle.\n\n“Well dad only gave me two hours so maybe we should have some fun now and talk more later.” He spoke while reaching for the leash which he snapped into place pulling the rest out from the bag. Argent jumped up with a bark loud enough to make Lake flinch from the noise but the glare he had was lost as the collie began stripping. Even before the squirrel had gotten back to his feet the canine was flinging his shirt away and struggling with his pants that were caught up in his feet. \n\n“Good doggies don't leave clothes all over the place.” Lake stated when the naked canine came back to sit at his feet. “They would pick up their clothes to make sure my father doesn't see them.” He left all the slack the leash would allow as Argent moved around picking up his clothes in his mouth and carrying them to his backpack. He only used his paws to put everything in and zip it shut before picking the pack up with his mouth siting in front of the squirrel again wagging his tail behind him. He hadn't needed Jayra to tell him, and happily gave out pets and praise as he lead them both to his room.\n\n“So, I know you want me to mark you. And, I guess I can, I mean, I just don't know what would be best. Jayra said a few things but she felt I should do it at school.” The rodent tried to explain as the canine sat at his feet silent and waiting. “Alright later. Let's have a little fun first.” That statement got a frantic wag while the collie began sniffing and nosing the others crotch. Going with the advice he got he put a paw under Argent's chin and lifted it to look at him. 'Be firm and clear.' He thought before giving his order, “You are going to please me, make me feel good my puppy.” There, he gave him a little name, and order, but didn't spell everything out.\n\nArgent gave a little gruff as he began tugging at the squirrel's clothes with his mouth starting with the latch at the top of his pants easily getting it to pop free. It took a little doing and Lake helped out when he felt like the other was struggling a little to much but soon both were naked. The collie gave a big leap landing on the bed on knees and paws giving the slightest whine as he rubbed the space in the center of the bed. Lake gave a little smile as he stepped over and laid down suddenly having a doggie nose sniffing and licking all parts of his body burying into his armpits as well as his crotch, inhaling and licking up and down his body and limbs before heading up before running his tongue up his chin and over his nose.\n\n“Master is ready and wants to feel good.” Argent said allowing one paw to curl around the hard rodent shaft. “Yes.” Was the only response Lake gave. The canine spun around moving over him gulping the shaft into his muzzle and suddenly began a noisy slobbering suck as Lake was suddenly treated to a view of the others bottom and fast wagging tail. He let out a little moan as the tongue curled all the way around his shaft slowly drawing up and nearly completely off before the muzzle plunged to his base mouth twisting around as the dogs nose was buried into his sac. \n\nLake honestly wasn't sure about everything that was happening. Was he gay, straight, bi, or did he simply want sex. He felt it was likely the later. Life hadn't been very open to any possibility of him having any sort of relations but here he was getting blown by a guy after having sex with a female cat just a few days before, minus the fact that he didn't have much choice in that encounter. But still it was sex and damn it felt good. “I think I'm getting close.” He called out having been rather excited the entire time he had waited for Argent to arrive. \n\nThe information didn't change anything in the collie's actions who continued to make sucking, smacking, slurping, and tongue lashing motions bringing the squirrel to a very quick release. Once it started it was all the canine could do to keep swallowing spilling out more than he wanted to the longer the seconds pasted. He didn't choke but wasn't able to contain the full flow as its volume was more than the collie could drink down but once the long string shots began to taper back and finally come to a stop he went back and licked up every glob and dribble of cum that had escaped cleaning the rodents entire privates from the penis tip to the crack of the ass laying on the blankets. \n\nLake returned the hug after Argent turned around and snuggled down next to him. Suddenly realizing the throb against his hip was the dogs red rod he tried to reach down to hold it. “No Master please wait.” Argent had caught the paw and brought it to his nose sniffing then licking it going so far at to just place it against his neck. “You said you wanted me to make you feel good. I want to make you cum again, inside, in a few minutes, so don't.”\n\nThe squirrel smiled as he relaxed, how ever things were going to go he decided to just let things go however they went. He could enjoy some time with Argent and still be available for what ever Jayra needed from him which meant he wouldn't have to worry about being tricked by anyone else or have to search for others that might or might not offer to help him survive.\n\nLake had a splendid and fully enjoyable afternoon including a shower with Argent where he got release a third time while the collie had his second. It wasn't easy for him to squeeze out a whole lot of urine when the canine stepped back into the shower and knelt down after they dried off. The whole situation especially having Argent kneeling there wagging his tail excitedly left him barely able to perform giving just a small squirt and a dribble. The collie stood up and with a little lick on the cheek left the bathroom. Lake however wasn't expecting him to slipped out and returned with his pack handing over a jar with a sealing lid. Still surprise he did his best and was able to give Argent the gift he wanted when he left a little while later, after a very brief introduction to Lake's father. \n\nThe other thing which was rather strange was that the principal ended up calling him later that evening speaking to both him and his father. “I understand sometimes you might need a day to recover from life's events. However you and I will have to have a serious discussion about the choice you have made. I expect you in my office as soon as you arrive at school which will be before your first class.” It was ominous to hear Mr. Horvis talk and he couldn't suppress a serious shiver of real fear even though it was delivered through the phone. Nor could he shake the creeping fear that began to grow as the night wore on, wondering how much the wolf knew about his life and how he had figured it out so fast. His father didn't seem to have much to say either besides, “I'll see that he is there.” after the principal spoke with him. The other thing that really had him feeling unnerved was the fact his father hugged him after he hung up the phone telling him, “Don't worry about anything. Just make it through school tomorrow and come home.”\n\nKeith dropped his son off to school a full half hour early and the squirrel was escorted right in to Mr. Horvis's office where he found the wolf looking at him very displeased. “It was my understanding that we had an agreement. I had the teachers keep away from you and you would help the students learn to become better hunters, correct?!” Came the demand.\n\n“Umm. Yes sir.” Although the principal hadn't moved nor raised his voice it almost felt to Lake that the predator was leaning over the desk growling at him.\n\n“We set out rules and conditions to keep not just you but others safe while still allowing you to continue learning here, correct?!” The squirrel could only nod having no clue what was going on nor what was wrong. During the short time he had sitting in the chair he had stopped his tail multiple times but couldn't prevent his personal tick from starting over and over. He moved a little in the chair, almost turning to look at the door before Mr. Horvis gave him a simple warning. “Lake, if you try to run from the office you will be killed. There are two teachers in the hall, if you even make it that far. However I told you we were going to talk about this, as long as you stay seated and answer my questions you will be allowed to go back to class. That is unless you actually plan on breaking our little arrangement. I told you the truth the first day, you will not graduate from Callent. I will take your life if you get that far, but until that time you will be safe from me and the other teachers, except your current actions are going to require a punishment. Several of the teachers have already asked that you take the Grade Passing Exam which I guess now I shall have to allow.”\n\nLake sat there for several minutes struggling to keep not just his tail in check but his entire state of sanity as the wolf continued to stare as time passed. “I don't underssstand ser.” Lake finally squeaked out out the last word not able to contain a small quake that lasted for several seconds before the tail started ticking back and forth, and finally in next moment he was able to regain some control before allowing his tail slow to a stop.\n\n“I see, it seems you are learning a few new tricks. Did you think that would be enough to keep you safe? Or did you believe what your little advocate told you? Do you think that if you get breeding status you'll be safe and could transfer to another school?”\n\n“Sir?” Lake asked confused.\n\n“That is not an answer Lake. I asked you a question and I expect an answer.” The wolf leaned back finally breaking the forceful pinning stare he had nailed to the rodent.\n\nAlthough it really hadn't changed much it allowed just a fraction of the tension in the squirrel to ease. “I don't know sir, I can't get breeding status.” Still seeing the wolf waiting he added on, “I suppose if some how I was given breeder status then I guess I would be transferred.”\n\n“And now you know why I am upset with you Lake. You understand our agreement, you agreed to the rules I put out. I know you are still going to try and figure out a way to get around your future here but understand there is no way to transfer out of Callent. You graduate or you don't, do you understand that at least?”\n\n“Umm, Yes sir but,” the rodent stopped. He couldn't figure out what had happened but it was obviously something had. “I don't understand. How can I get breeder status, I mean I didn't try to get breeder status.”\n\n“Lake, I expect the total truth right now. I don't think you are going to lie to me but I want you to answer me with the truth. Did you speak with Ms. Klarin, she claims to be your advocate.” A light but persistent buzz started signaling the start of school just before the wolf finished and Lake waited until it stopped.\n\n“No sir. I don't know who that is.”\n\n“Thank you Lake. That makes me feel a good deal better. ENTER!” Mr. Horvis added to the light knock on the door.\n\nMr. Lantor poked his head in, “She's here.” Looking straight at Lake he added. “Are you sure you don't want to run now?”\n\n“Steph don't. It seems your student has no clue what exactly is going on, and doesn't know why he was called in. Though even with that he still might be taking Grade Exam I hadn't made a decision on that, you can show her in, and let Margret know I'll be sending Lake to class shortly.”\n\nLake turned and watched as the mouse walked in, “Oh good you have him out of class. As I told you on the phone yesterday I will be taking him to get his breeding mark immediately and he will be moved to another location and school. I don't...”\n\nThere was a strong cat like growl that came as the door to the office closed firmly by Mr. Lantor. “Ms Klarin you are severely mistaken. First off it is against the law to steal a prey claimed by another, but even if I set aside the grievance my employee would have with your actions I told you Lake can not be transferred no will be, and you plus anyone assisting you will end up in prison for endangering the public, assisting in potential crimes, and of course interfering with sentencing by the justice administration. I got a full print out of Lake Smalert sentencing which requires him to attend Callent until he graduates. None of the students who are sentenced to attend here are allowed to be transferred. Graduation is the only way they are let back into society. Understand Ms. Klarin he was not transferred here there for can not be transferred out. You can of course get him his breeder marking, after the school day is over if you wish but even if you are his advocate you can not remove him from his classes only his father can do that and I don't see him here. Lake, you should head to class. I expect you not to be more than the allowed fifteen minutes late.” It was a clear dismissal and at the young squirrel knew his best chance at surviving that day was obeying. \n\n“I'm sure I'll have a moment to speak with you after class.” Mr Lantor told him as he held the door open for the squirrel.\n\nLake was a daze as he walked by the secretary and headed towards his first class. He still wasn't quite back with it when he walked into Mr. Lumb's class trying to wrap his head around the bomb that had just gone off. He was getting breeder status? He couldn't transfer school's? But the principal specifically stated he was here to help the student's learn so he was still going to be hunted? With breeder marks? It was easy for his mind to imagine no penalty would be administered if one of the other students did end up trying to kill him. WAIT........ \n\nHis mind and body did a full stop three steps into the classroom. He could go out in public without worry! He could probably meet Micheal again and visit some of his other old class mates. “LAKE! Do you plan on standing there for the entire class? I will be upset if this is some stunt to disrupt my lesson.”\n\n“Sorry sir.” The squirrel quickly responded moving to his seat and grabbing out his notebook.\n\n“It seems your meeting with the principal went well enough but I expect you to pay attention if you don't want me to send you right back to him.”\n\n“No sir, I promise that isn't necessary.” Lake stated getting a small smirk from the older wolf as he turned back and finished writing out the four points of the advanced group strategy that had been interrupted.\n\nLake did his best to keep his emotions in check and was feeling even more lost through his first three classes unable to locate Jayra or Argent during his breaks which made him wonder if something hadn't happened. True Jayra wasn't likely going to show up unless she had a reason but he thought for sure Argent would be there, especially since he had been told by the feline if he marked the dog he would be there every moment he could to show who owned him. \n\nThe squirrel was happy and relieved to see Argent at lunch, the moment he exited Mrs. Callor's room he heard two loud barks as as the collie charged down the hall and pushed him up against the lockers before sitting on his heels to bark once more. “Sorry Master, my mother took my clothes and made me bathe.” He looked truly sad turning his head to show the collar that back on his neck was not the one Lake had given him the day before.\n\nLooking around the hall at nearly everyone who was watching them, he pet the canine on the head, “It's alright my puppy let's go eat lunch.” The hallway stayed fairly silent as Argent dropped in behind the rodent staying extremely close and leaning forward, almost like he was trying to put his chin on squirrel's shoulder. He had been glad Jayra had warned him, and according to her this might be the mild side of the treatment that he got. He also got a rather special treatment from the feline as well. She was waiting in the school's entrance way grabbing Lake's arm and snuggling underneath it. She gave a light nip against his neck before licking over the small scabs she had left all the while pulling him along towards their lunch spot.\n\nHe squeezed her hard before he pealed himself off, getting her frown he simply said, “It's serious and I don't want you to be upset with me but hopefully this will make things easier.” He told her before turning back to Argent. “I need your help too.” He spent the first part of lunch gobbling up a cheese sandwich and a sliced up pear explaining what had happened that morning getting a random mix of emotions from the collie but the feline had only asked a few simple questions in a flat voice. He tried to assure her that it wasn't his fault and that he had no intention of changing his mind on either of his choices with the two of them. \n\nWhen he felt he had finally convinced them both he ended up scrunching his face and hissing, nearly shouting out as Jayra's claws dug firmly into his lower leg. Wincing as she growled and pulled his leg closer. She spoke first at the dog. “STAY! Or I promise you I will end up killing him even if I have to have the entire lunch crew hunt him the rest of the day.” Seeing the collie still looking like he was ready to act Lake added. “Just stay Argent, it hurts but I think she has a reason.”\n\n“You're damn right I do.” She growled flinging his foot back. “You stupid idiot, you don't even know what kind of danger you're in now. Breeder status or not the teachers are going to try and kill you. Tell me again exactly what the principal said about punishing you.”\n\n“That I might have to take the grade passing exam or something.”\n\nShe glared at the dog before spitting out, “You have no clue either, your both a bunch of idiots. Easier Lake? The grade exam is a death sentence except for ONE student! All the teachers get to put one student forward who is either failing or having issues or whatever reason they make up. Then they have to come on a Saturday with just the teachers. Every year only one student ends up passing! Stupid, idiot, shit FUCKERS!!” She screamed out giving Lake a vicious look that made his tail twitch and stand up, but he had been struggling with that so much this morning it dropped a few seconds later. It was a forced irritated smile that Jayra gave but it seemed to calm her down, “At least you can learn that much. Listen, I don't know exactly what happens but we need to figure out who's failing classes and anyone else that's been having issues with their teachers.” She paused staring at Argent for nearly a minute. “Don't get any stupid ideas. If you try to get into that test you're likely going to end up dead with him and I doubt the principal is going to let you help especially since he's claiming you. We are going to have to find out what happens if we..”\n\n“Jayra don't bother. I'll be able to tell you tomorrow, though it likely means I'm going to have to take the test, what ever that entails.” Seeing her mouth open in a silent hiss he simply stated. “I don't think I can avoid it, Mr. Horvis sounded like several teachers wanted me in that exam and Mr, Lantor said he was going to talk with me a the end of the class. I know they both want to hunt me but I also know they want some of the students to try and improve their hunting skills. Somehow I think getting a breeders mark isn't going to change anything at school, however it does mean that maybe I could come over to your house, or Argent's. Besides if I have to all ask Mr. Horvis, he is...” Lake paused for a moment to try and think of how to explain. “He won't lie to me or hide what's going on. I can probably tell him I will take the test if he tells me what its about.”\n\n“I expect several days out of you Lake, ones I can enjoy before this stupid test. Otherwise I will make sure you don't get to take it, and if you want the truth then hear this. I have several, cohorts that would be happy to help me take those advanced group tactics you're learning to a whole new level. I claimed you first so most of them are staying back, especially after what you did to my brother, but you had better keep me satisfied, understand?” The squirrel shivered again seeing the whole other side of the feline and realizing he still probably didn't know enough about her true self. He didn't resist at all as she gave a playful smile and crouched, pouncing on him with a light growl.\n\n“You are trouble Lake, but exciting.” She whispered in his ear. “Keep me happy, do what I tell you, and there is a chance you might even survive this stupid test. You are right on one thing though, I get to go on a nice date, out in public, and it's going to be your treat right?” Lake gave another little shiver feeling her nuzzle along his neck while one of her paws had suddenly appeared at the front of his pants. Things were certainly going to be exciting and all he could do is hope to survive it all.",
"writing_bbcode_parsed": "<span style='word-wrap: break-word;'>It was an absolutely silent drive as Keith took his son towards the center of the city where the police station was.&nbsp;&nbsp; He had been called a few hours before and been requested to bring his son in to make a statement and answer questions about issues involving Lake, another student, and their parent.&nbsp;&nbsp; He had been assured that it was supposed to be a simple questioning but when&nbsp;&nbsp;young prey were brought in, they didn&#039;t always get to leave.&nbsp;&nbsp; It was all the older squirrel could do to just drive him there trying his best to not consider any possible outcomes.<br /><br />He took Lake inside and waited with him in the station entrance just long enough for an officer to show up to take him to the back before he slowly made his way back to his vehicle wondering if this truly was the last time he would see his son..&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />As it happened Mr. Turner had filed charges both for him and his son for physical and criminal damages which is what caused Lake to ended spending more than an hour having to repeat himself over an over to the two officers questioning him across a cold metal table in a small box of a room, while sitting on equally cold hard chairs.<br /><br />&ldquo;Okay, let&#039;s tryyy starting back at the beginning, alright.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The raccoon stated.&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake was more than fed up the the others words, attitude, and full demeanor which was barely above baby talk loaded with unneeded explanations implying the rodent couldn&#039;t understand otherwise.&nbsp;&nbsp; That had started after he claimed not to remember what had happened to Marcus in the bathroom.&nbsp;&nbsp; He had tried at first to be polite and firm, only saying what he had told his principal. The squirrel was really curious about why they had no information besides what Mr. Turner had claimed, hadn&#039;t they checked with the school.&nbsp;&nbsp; The officers had stated that there was an attack in the restroom and that Lake had deliberately injured the other student implying that he had attacked the cat outright without reason.&nbsp;&nbsp; Not that it was far from the truth but they were going off one statement, without any real evidence, only thing they knew for sure was something had happened in the bathroom and one student was hurt.<br /><br />The squirrel watched the other officer for a moment, who was a rather small, but was a perfectly cut and colored Doberman, the canine had spoken less than Lake and he had deliberately been keeping his answers short.&nbsp;&nbsp;Trying to keep things together and his emotions controlled Lake tried a new tactic.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; The beginning?&nbsp;&nbsp;Okay my name is Lake Smalert and I&nbsp;&nbsp;would like to be told why I&#039;m here and what is going on.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Enough games!&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The raccoon finally seemed to lose a little bit.&nbsp;&nbsp; &ldquo; You brained a fellow student then threw his father down the stairs when he was trying to talk with you.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Brained?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake asked,&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Like his head was bashed in?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Seeing the other sneer he felt like he might make this all work.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; When I came in they said he was bonked on the head.&nbsp;&nbsp; You guys said he was hit.&nbsp;&nbsp; But now you said he was brained, I&#039;m guess that was messy and bloody.&nbsp;&nbsp;Funny how I didn&#039;t have a drop of blood on me and I know my teacher could tell you I wasn&#039;t gone long enough to bash someone&#039;s brains in.&nbsp;&nbsp;I don&#039;t understand why I&#039;m here for something I didn&#039;t do, the school didn&#039;t seem to have a problem with what I told them.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;How can we be sure you did nothing.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The canine stated firmly.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; You don&#039;t remember what happened only that he walked in on you and then you were back in class.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;That is not what I said.&nbsp;&nbsp; You know I understand Mr Turner lying, but the police should stick with facts.&nbsp;&nbsp;I told you he laughed when I asked him if he could wait until I was finished peeing, and YES I do remember that part!&nbsp;&nbsp; He was trying to hunt me obviously so why did things end up like this?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake stopped staring at both officers.&nbsp;&nbsp; He had planned on waiting them out but couldn&#039;t stop himself from continuing.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Simple if you had looked at his grades you would realize he basically failed Pred class.&nbsp;&nbsp; Also why are you not even considering there might have been someone else in the bathroom?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; This time he did wait seeing the Doberman&#039;s frown like he was considering something, the raccoon looked as snide as ever.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />&ldquo;As for his father he was chasing me, I have the torn backpack and the principal can definitely attest to him charging out of the office after me.&nbsp;&nbsp;I ran up three flights of stairs with him just barely missing getting his CLAWS into me on the third floor I kept running and hid in the fourth floor bathroom.&nbsp;&nbsp;I can only guess he slipped and fell.&rdquo; His answer didn&#039;t seem to change much of either of their demeanor.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; Can we get this over with?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake asked standing up getting both officers jump up.<br /><br />&ldquo;Sir you need to sit down.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The canine firmly stated.<br /><br />&ldquo;Or what, am I some danger now?&nbsp;&nbsp;I can prove my point if you both, if you will allow it then we can&nbsp;&nbsp;make this whole stupid thing be over.&nbsp;&nbsp; You!&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He pointed to the raccoon.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Could you just step over here.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; It took several seconds but the officer seemed willing after a moment.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; Now I&#039;m gonna push you!&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake stated even as he stepped forward to shove against the officer who quickly grabbed his shoulders holding him back.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; Now let go and I&#039;ll try even harder, not that you really moved.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The others sudden big grin and step back which made Lake feel like he made a serious miscalculation.&nbsp;&nbsp;Hopefully his partner wasn&#039;t going to allow him to be hurt.&nbsp;&nbsp; Lake took two quick steps back but even as he started running forward the other grabbed an arm flipping him around and ran him forward slamming him into a wall several feet away.<br /><br />&ldquo;Now you&#039;ve done it little tree rat.&nbsp;&nbsp;Assaulting an officer is a serious crime, I don&#039;t even need to take you to holding.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The chuckle was mean and Lake leaned against the wall trying to turn his head enough to look over at the canine. <br /><br />&ldquo;Are you as absolutely stupid like him?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The rooms door slammed open as a large cougar strode in.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;LET HIM GO!&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;SIR!&nbsp;&nbsp;He attacked me!&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;So what if I did, I thought you already said I brained one cat into the hospital, then had the power to throw another cat down the stairs.&nbsp;&nbsp;I tried to shove you AND jumped at you and you barely even moved!&nbsp;&nbsp;HOW THE HELL DID I THROW A CAT DOWN THE STAIRS!!&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake shouted out even while being pressed harder into the wall.<br /><br />&ldquo;Let him up.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The Doberman stated firmly going so far as to lay a paw on the others shoulders.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; There is no real evidence that he harmed another student merely speculation, his father&#039;s statement isn&#039;t facts.&nbsp;&nbsp; Also his story is that Mr. Turner was chasing him and he slipped and fell on the stairs, while he was trying to grab him.&nbsp;&nbsp; That is the same story he told both the hospital and others before filing the complaint yesterday.&nbsp;&nbsp;Tell me Officer Canaal did it seem like that squirrel was lying?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;What that he can&#039;t remember.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The raccoon stated giving one more shove into the wall before stepping back.&nbsp;&nbsp; &ldquo; That is certainly a lie.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Can you prove it?&nbsp;&nbsp; Is there evidence?&nbsp;&nbsp; Was he traumatized?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; His partner demanded.<br /><br />&ldquo;That is enough.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The cougar spoke.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;None of us is qualified to answer that question which is why he gets his own counselor to talk with, they will find out if he can remember or not.&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake Smalert your father is waiting in his vehicle I&#039;ll escort you there an explain what&#039;s going to happen.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />The squirrel was escorted down two hallways and out a door into a parking lot where he was placed inside his father&#039;s Jeep.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Mr. Smalert you will be contacted by a counselor who will set up several sessions for your son.&nbsp;&nbsp; Not to worry we have several very qualified acceptable safe people for you to work with.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The other spoke looking directly at Lake this time.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />&ldquo;What, someone who eats me if I don&#039;t say the right things?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake stated.<br /><br />&ldquo;Oh no.&nbsp;&nbsp;I can think of a wonderful little mouse lady who would be happy to work with you, however Lake if she somehow believes&nbsp;&nbsp;you aren&#039;t stable I&#039;m afraid you might end up somewhere you don&#039;t want to be, but as long as you go through with the sessions there is nothing else that will likely happen.&nbsp;&nbsp;I also doubt that Mr. Turners claim is going to go very far either since his accounts contradict the first statement he gave.&nbsp;&nbsp; His son remembers nothing and there is no real evidence supporting you injuring him beyond you both going to the bathroom.&nbsp;&nbsp; That and it seems your school feels that the incident was normal and there was no reason to make any reports.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He finished.<br /><br />&ldquo;It is Callent.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake half scoffed before the officer turned away.<br /><br />His father didn&#039;t start the car and Lake sat there for several minutes refusing to look at him.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Just take me home.&rdquo; He finally said.<br /><br />&ldquo;Now do you see why you can&#039;t fight?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The older squirrel asked him. <br /><br />&#039;NOT TRUE!&#039;&nbsp;&nbsp;He shouted back in his mind.&nbsp;&nbsp; It was obvious they weren&#039;t going to do anything to&nbsp;&nbsp;him, prey that escapes isn&#039;t responsible.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; So do I get a 24th birthday party if I make it or are you kicking me out?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; His father&#039;s sigh was the only response as he drove them home.&nbsp;&nbsp; That changed the moment they got in the door as his father ordered him to sit on the couch.&nbsp;&nbsp; It was a long one sided conversation that was explained to Lake as he listened over and over how violence wasn&#039;t going to get him anywhere, in fact it was going to cause more actions like today if people had to go after him legally.&nbsp;&nbsp; He endured it, keeping the tears off his face as his father had stopped several times to wipe his own away.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />Even with all his father was saying Lake still loved him, he hated what was happening but knew he would never do what his father wanted, there was just no way he would ever give in.&nbsp;&nbsp; In the end when he was stood up and hugged for nearly a minute Lake told him, &ldquo;I can&#039;t promise, I won&#039;t even promise to try.&nbsp;&nbsp;I won&#039;t ever give up trying to live.&nbsp;&nbsp; And if you have to kick me out then I&#039;m sorry that is what you have to do.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;I should never have said that Lake.&nbsp;&nbsp;I would never force you out of the house.&nbsp;&nbsp; But I can&#039;t protect you, there is nothing I can do but watch.&nbsp;&nbsp; And I can&#039;t, I don&#039;t want to see you taken piece by piece.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; His father reached behind him to grab his half tail before he pulled him even tighter sobbing onto his son&#039;s shoulder.&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake grabbed a hold of his father as well feeling for the first time in years a connection that he had always thought was long gone.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />&ldquo;I promise to Live.&nbsp;&nbsp;I&#039;ll keep coming home, its all I&#039;ve ever wanted and its all I ever wanted from you.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake was actually starting to hurt from the arms around him feeling like he might actually be crushed.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; You can always come home.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The muffled nearly garbled words came out.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;It&#039;s just so hard, every day, wondering, if you will.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; Lake wanted to say more but the lack of breathable space and the lump in his throat along with the water in his eyes kept him silent.<br /><br />It was Wednesday of the next week and Lake, Argent, and Jayra were eating lunch on the front lawn near both the sidewalk and wall of the school.&nbsp;&nbsp; It was now claimed as their regular spot with the squirrel actually sitting on the wall for the first ten minutes of lunch being extra careful because he felt that the longer lunch ran the less likely he would be attacked.&nbsp;&nbsp; There had only been one big incident so far which happened the day before between forth and fifth periods.&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake had gone into the hall almost reaching his locker only to be crashed into from behind.&nbsp;&nbsp; He stumbled forward until he fell already twisting and trying to roll away.<br /><br />&ldquo;Not so, AaahhH!&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The cry turned into a snarl as Lake bit into the others paw the closest thing he could reach as he tried to use his own paws to jab at the canine&#039;s chest.&nbsp;&nbsp;Still growling the dog lunged at Lake jaws open as the squirrel twisted allowing the other a side bite that just caught the upper part of his arm.&nbsp;&nbsp; It might have gone worse from there, he had gotten one arm free enough to grab the others ear trying to pull but he wasn&#039;t able to stop the jaws that turned towards his neck.&nbsp;&nbsp; The only reason the second bite wasn&#039;t given was that Nathen&#039;s head snapped back as Argent came charging forward swinging a pack and connecting with the other canine.&nbsp;&nbsp; It was enough to shift the bodies and Lake was able to claw and wriggle enough to roll out as the collie took a second wild pack swing before turning to try and help the squirrel up.<br /><br />&ldquo;You&#039;re both DEAD!&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Nathen snarled getting back to his feet.&nbsp;&nbsp; He wasn&#039;t a muscled dog just a large mutt that had nearly a full head on Argent and a bit more muscles.&nbsp;&nbsp; The collie&#039;s growl sounded weaker than the dog and he knew this wasn&#039;t good since Lake still hadn&#039;t made it back to his feet, trembling next to him squatted down.&nbsp;&nbsp; What both canines had assumed was that the rodent was no longer a threat, in fact the entire gathered group that was watching the two dogs, as Nathen advanced, didn&#039;t include Lake as a participant.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />Lake though was far from out, his tail was surprisingly still behind him as he had both paws near his chest hunched down.&nbsp;&nbsp; Waiting, tensed, quivering;&nbsp;&nbsp;Argent stepped forward to meet his opponent at the same time Lake launched his body at Nathen.&nbsp;&nbsp;Far faster than either canine the squirrel slammed both paws into Nathen&#039;s center.&nbsp;&nbsp; He had done it a few times before, a quick lightening move with an even faster get away to a safe spot.&nbsp;&nbsp; This time though there was no way he was running, with the same speed he kicked out at both of the canines lower legs then threw himself at the upper body sending his opponent stumbling backwards and falling on his ass.&nbsp;&nbsp; The third kick went to the head, connecting with the others muzzle getting a yelp before the growl started again.<br /><br />Lake had no wish to step closer but before he could make a decision Argent leapt forward with a kick knocking the other to his back and after several more kicks to the side, the other curled into a ball.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Anyone Else!?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake spoke out his voice easily heard with the stunned silence his sudden attack had caused.&nbsp;&nbsp; Before he had attacked, many of those who were watching had offered growls or chuffs to the canines as they faced off, but now, not even one made a noise.&nbsp;&nbsp; What had seemed like a simple hallway meal turned into a fight that was suddenly flipped on its head as the squirrel stared down the entire hall of students.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />&ldquo;Fucking Ass.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake&#039;s attention was drawn to the speaker who had come forward giving a kick to the downed canine that had been aimed at the groin.&nbsp;&nbsp; Two more joined in taking a swipe or kick as the bell rang and suddenly the crowd began melting and within a moment there were now six standing over Nathen and Argent had moved back to the squirrel&#039;s side giving a light tug to the rodent&#039;s arm.&nbsp;&nbsp; What struck Lake as odd a moment later was the fact he realized they were all female.&nbsp;&nbsp; When he first started Callent he had considered it mainly a boys school seeing only a few females, now he understood differently since only one of the ladies present was wearing some form of females clothing.&nbsp;&nbsp; She was the one who addressed Lake.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; You should leave.&nbsp;&nbsp; We have more than a bit of business to work out here.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Why?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Was his simple question.&nbsp;&nbsp; He hadn&#039;t been expecting help but even as he spoke there were another two females running down the stairs to join the group.&nbsp;&nbsp; They had Nathen seated leaning against the lockers with a pink leash wrapped around his muzzle.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; This dick deserves it!&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; One leather encased poodle spoke giving a kick.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I thought he had only screwed one or two others not a fucking group!&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Lake class!&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Argent hissed at him giving another small tug to the rodents arm.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; Thanks!&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake finally offered to the girl who was closest.<br /><br />Before he even turned to leave one took a step towards him yelling.&nbsp;&nbsp; &ldquo;HEY Lake!&nbsp;&nbsp; You should know this shithole isn&#039;t the only one who thinks a hallway pounce might work now.&rdquo;<br /><br />His answer was slow, walking sideways to scoop up his pack and slipping an arm inside and drawing out the same table leg he had kept close on several days.&nbsp;&nbsp; He gave it one twirl before finally speaking never letting his eyesight off the other.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Any time you&#039;re ready.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Oh I like it!&nbsp;&nbsp;Maybe we can get you a riders crop and some leathers, and a hell of a lot of brass zippers!&rdquo; She said acting like she pulled an imaginary slide all the way down the side of her chest. Argent pulled on his shoulder again as Lake was left trying to figure out if she was serious as she sounded.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Class!&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He nearly barked trying to get Lake to move.&nbsp;&nbsp; He spared one last glance at Nathen seeing the leash now wrapped around his throat as well with two females feet pressing him against the the lockers.&nbsp;&nbsp; Not seeing a reason to stay both boys bolted for the stairs on the far side running up two flights to get to Mr Lantor&#039;s class.<br /><br />&ldquo;Wait.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake said just before Argent had a chance to open the door.&nbsp;&nbsp;Checking himself over he did see his arm was bleeding slightly.&nbsp;&nbsp; Two deep puncture marks and a few smaller ones stood out where the dog&#039;s canines and other teeth had gone in.&nbsp;&nbsp; &ldquo;Shit.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Got it.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The collie stated opening the door and in just a moment their teacher came out.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />&ldquo;Umm.&nbsp;&nbsp;The principal never told me exactly what an injury is.&nbsp;&nbsp; Is this alright?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake asked wondering if he wasn&#039;t going to have to run and hid for his last period.<br /><br />&ldquo;I believe ANY injury requires you to be seen by a teacher or head to the office.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The pine martin already had a padded patch with a cloth which he quickly bandaged the wound with.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; That I definitely consider an injury, go to the office and report this.&nbsp;&nbsp; Is your, adversary bleeding?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Definitely, I know his muzzle is but he&#039;s tied up at the moment by some others.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake quickly answered.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />&ldquo;Very well.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; Was all his teacher said before stepping back into class.<br /><br />Lake took his time heading down stairs and seeing no one on the second floor he stopped at his locker and carefully hid the table leg behind everything hoping that no one was going to check after this incident.&nbsp;&nbsp; After that he stepped in the office and had to deal with a suddenly irritated secretary who immediately ordered him back to class.&nbsp;&nbsp; It wasn&#039;t until Lake demanded to see the principal and pointed out rule four did she finally get up and walk down the hall knocking loudly on the office door getting Mr. Horvis to pop his head out.<br /><br />It took him only a second to inspect Lake&#039;s injury before telling him that they had gone over this even if he hadn&#039;t understood.&nbsp;&nbsp; The principal laid out the specifics, he was not allowed to bleed or leave a trail of blood.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Where did this happen?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Mr Horvis asked.<br /><br />&ldquo;Near my locker.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />The principal went to the phone and punched out a number waiting a good thirty seconds before issuing orders.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Parkus check the second floor from the middle up to the forth...&nbsp;&nbsp; Lake which stairs?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He stopped to grab the information.&nbsp;&nbsp; With Lake pointing he continued,&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;East side stairs, there might be a small blood trail.&rdquo;<br /><br />He came back looking Lake over a bit more intently before addressing the secretary.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Margret would you please..&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Hell no!&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She answered before he was even finished moving back to sit at her desk.&nbsp;&nbsp; The principal had the slightest of frowns before waving Lake to follow.&nbsp;&nbsp; He was taken down the hall, around the corner and to the last room in the office which turned out to be what looked like a small clinic room.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Understand Lake I can not allow you to drip blood around the school because it might actually cause a fight among those who will suddenly see an easy target. You need to come to the office first or find a teacher to bandage you immediately.&nbsp;&nbsp;NO one is going to follow a blood trail that leads to the office, but one heading upstairs, that will have everyone&#039;s attention.&rdquo;<br /><br />Lake&#039;s wound was cleaned with something that had him grinding his teeth and trying not to scream when it was squirted inside each hole before water was flushed in afterwards calming the fires burn but left it stinging worst than when he had been bitten.&nbsp;&nbsp;A simple bandage on top of that and Lake was ordered to wait where he was until the last bell.<br /><br />That now left him hopping off the wall at lunch the next day planning heavily with both Argent and Jayra once he started eating.&nbsp;&nbsp; She had already told him that morning that Nathen had not been seen in his fifth class and hadn&#039;t shown up to school that day.&nbsp;&nbsp; She had spent some time with him that morning dropping him off at his first class just seconds before the bell pointing out what she thought were significant traps and dangers.&nbsp;&nbsp; Now at lunch both his friends were rattling off things he already knew but also trying to offer him ideas on where he might go if things got bad.&nbsp;&nbsp; Most of that concerned other teachers and their attitudes towards previous prey students.&nbsp;&nbsp; They had all quickly agreed Ms. Kavala was his best bet who would likely send him to the office or call it in.&nbsp;&nbsp; He had suggested Mr. Talkin though Jayra warned heavily against it.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; It would have to be your very last choice, and it might be.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She told him frankly, Lake actually agreed with that, but among other teachers it seemed slightly less deadly.&nbsp;&nbsp; Both Argent and the feline had offered a teacher neither of whom he knew and they both promised to try and introduce him as soon as possible.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />&ldquo;Hey Lake?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The statement was quiet but the paw on his leg interrupted his thoughts entirely.&nbsp;&nbsp;Jayra put out a shy smile.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; If you wanted, if your dad wanted to wait to pick you up, would you wanna stop by my house after school?&nbsp;&nbsp;I just live over a few blocks and if we go after school tomorrow my mom won&#039;t be home until late.&nbsp;&nbsp;She&#039;s trying to find someone to watch me but everyone is busy this time.&rdquo;<br /><br />The little twitches the squirrel gave had nothing to do with his tail.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I, uh, I don&#039;t think so.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Is it because of him?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She asked pointing at Argent.&nbsp;&nbsp; The collie hadn&#039;t mentioned anything about the attack since it had happened but he had asked earlier today and Lake had agreed that he could come over on Sunday, he had even promised to think about making a full claim on the canine.&nbsp;&nbsp; That promise obviously showed in the collie who ducked his head down embarrassed.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; You aren&#039;t into girls are you.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She stated<br /><br />&ldquo;I didn&#039;t say that!&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He quickly protested wondering why everyone jumped to conclusions on his preferences.<br /><br />&ldquo;But you let Argent come to your house and he&#039;s giving you those puppy eyes.&nbsp;&nbsp;It&#039;s what everyone is thinking now.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;I know.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake said actually sounding slightly depressed. <br /><br />&ldquo;Well I can&#039;t come over to your house and if you don&#039;t want to come over to mine that&#039;s fine, but understand I won&#039;t make this offer again.&nbsp;&nbsp;I can&#039;t promise you safety if you did show up at my house, but it should be a better chance for you then running blind, if you really need it.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She finished. <br /><br />Lake sat there uncomfortable, he had no wish to make her mad in any way, everything she had suggested had made sense and several were things he had already decided himself.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I don&#039;t know if I can.&nbsp;&nbsp;Besides trying to make an excuse for my dad won&#039;t be easy, ya know.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;What that I might eat you?&nbsp;&nbsp;Come on you&#039;ve seen my pathetic lunches and I told you I&#039;m not much into the pure meat if that&#039;s what&#039;s bothering you.&nbsp;&nbsp; And if you really are worried I&#039;ll make sure it&#039;s more safe, we can keep it a short little meeting.&nbsp;&nbsp;Sit down, talk, and you can tell your dad to pick you up at five.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; It was complete silence for the next several minutes until the bell rang and they began to grab their stuff.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Yes or No Lake.&nbsp;&nbsp; You have to tell me by the end of school, I&#039;ll wait in the entrance way.<br /><br />Argent followed him inside stopping at the second floor with him.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; It doesn&#039;t effect me at all alright.&nbsp;&nbsp;I&#039;ll be yours no matter what happens.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The words were caught by several ears that were close by, and the collie quickly ducked across the hall and headed up one floor.&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake was also left blushing at the curious stares he received as he quickly moved away.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />He spend his next two classes in a bit of turmoil.&nbsp;&nbsp; He really wasn&#039;t afraid of Jayra, and it wouldn&#039;t be that hard for him to get away from her, she wasn&#039;t that strong or quick and he felt he could beat her in both areas.&nbsp;&nbsp; The squirrel was more worried about her ambushing him with her entire family but that seemed, unreal somehow.&nbsp;&nbsp; When Mr Lantor asked him a question in his last class Lake sat up straight and gave a good answer making sure to nod at his teacher when he was done to prove he was paying attention which gave him an idea for after class.<br /><br />He stepped up to his teacher&#039;s desk slowly as most of the students rushed out for the day.&nbsp;&nbsp; He waited another minute until the only other student left was Argent who was waiting at the door.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Mr. Lantor are you willing to give me some advice?&rdquo;<br /><br />The pine martin glanced at the door and back to the squirrel shaking his head, &ldquo; Some things should be kept private.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;he stated firmly.<br /><br />Lake did sort of a grin, maybe out of relief, he wasn&#039;t quite sure.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; No Argent wasn&#039;t the question.&nbsp;&nbsp; There is this girl, and, and she asked me to her house, when no one else will be home.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Dare I ask if she is also a student here?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake nodded slightly.&nbsp;&nbsp; It was a big sigh the male gave leaning back into his chair.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; There is no advice I can give you that you don&#039;t already know.&nbsp;&nbsp; The only thing I can add is that something like that will likely change your life in ways you can&#039;t even guess.&nbsp;&nbsp;Even if she is true and sincere, that will change you too.&nbsp;&nbsp;Only other thing I&#039;ll add is this will disappoint Master Horvis because every relationship at this school between students like yourself and others has ended the same way.&nbsp;&nbsp; You should know exactly what is coming.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He sat there staring for a moment before adding.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; Is your father here?&rdquo;<br /><br />Lake checked the window, grabbed his pack, and headed for the door.&nbsp;&nbsp;Just outside in the hallway he stopped and turned to Argent who seemed to be staring intently at the floor with his head lowered.&nbsp;&nbsp; The seconds past and the squirrel could almost believe the collie might start whining before he lifted a paw to pat the others head getting a explosive wag of response.&nbsp;&nbsp; He turned with an excited, wiggling, canine behind him and finally decided he was going to have to trust others with his life if he really was going to survive long enough to make it through school, after all he already owed Argent that much and no matter how bizarre it seemed to him it was obviously what the canine truly wanted.<br /><br />That was why he told Jayra &#039;Yes.&#039; when she stepped up next to him holding the door open so they could slip out.&nbsp;&nbsp; He needed to be able to trust her and better to find out sooner if she was going to try and make&nbsp;&nbsp;a meal out of him.&nbsp;&nbsp;Convincing is dad though would take a lot more effort.&nbsp;&nbsp; He started with asking if Argent could come over in the afternoon on Sunday.&nbsp;&nbsp; &ldquo;Same one as before?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Yes.&rdquo; Lake answered quickly.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I could use some friends to hang out with.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He added on when his father hadn&#039;t responded right away.<br /><br />&ldquo;I know, and it&#039;s going to be hard on you.&nbsp;&nbsp;I spoke with a few other parents...&nbsp;&nbsp; To be honest none of them are interested in having you over or letting you keep a relationship with their kids.&nbsp;&nbsp;Even Micheal.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Really!?&nbsp;&nbsp;Is he alright?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;His mother was, well lets say she was extremely upset I had called.&nbsp;&nbsp; He evidently received breeder status and transferred to a private school about the same time you did.&nbsp;&nbsp; She had already told Micheal you were gone and hung up telling me never to call back.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; It was mildly upsetting.&nbsp;&nbsp; Both young squirrels had grown up as little kids on the same street and even when Micheal had moved they had still gone to the same school and had the occasional day or overnight stay, that was until Lake had been attacked the first time.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />&ldquo;So can he come over?&nbsp;&nbsp; You can go grocery shopping if you want.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake caught the very puzzled glance from his father and he tried to keep a smile on.<br /><br />&nbsp;&ldquo;Something I should know about?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; His father questioned.<br /><br />&ldquo;At the moment, no.&rdquo; He stated as they pulled into the driveway.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; He knocked some guy off me at school and I trust him.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Trust will be the claws you never see.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;A saying every young prey were taught from the time they started learning the truth of the world.&nbsp;&nbsp; The two hadn&#039;t moved for several moments before the older squirrel turned the jeep off.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; Are you really, ready to risk you life in his hands?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Compared to the other students or faculty he&#039;s the only one...&nbsp;&nbsp;except for maybe one other.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Seeing his father had made no move to get out he continued.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I was wondering if you would write me a note for my teacher saying you&#039;ll pick me up at their house instead of at school.&nbsp;&nbsp;I won&#039;t stay long, just a hour or two and you can pick me up at six.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;And who is this?&rdquo; <br /><br />&ldquo;Someone I want to trust but don&#039;t quite yet.&nbsp;&nbsp;I can introduce you tomorrow.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake offered.<br /><br />&ldquo;Where do they live?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Its, uhh, A couple of streets over from the school.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake was taking his time to answer each question trying to not let anything slip about how the person was female.<br /><br />&ldquo;No!&nbsp;&nbsp;I&#039;m still your father Lake and this doesn&#039;t sound the least bit safe.&nbsp;&nbsp;Honestly I&#039;m surprised you even asked, you have never done something so stupid before.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; There was a sort of question hanging in the air and Lake again answered slowly.<br /><br />&ldquo;There is a lot going on.&nbsp;&nbsp;There&#039;s no way I can keep an eye out all the time, Argent and maybe some others really aren&#039;t interested in eating me.&nbsp;&nbsp; No I can&#039;t guarantee that they aren&#039;t interested in me but the house is close to school and they&#039;ve given me some really good advice.&nbsp;&nbsp;I&#039;d rather try and check it out now and see, rather then have to run there when I might really be in trouble.&nbsp;&nbsp;Could you just think about it?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake asked moving to get out.<br /><br />His father was still adamant the next morning, but that meant he was able to tell Jayra he did try when he found her after first period.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Any chance you might go anyways?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; They both knew the answer as he shook his head, beyond not having a ride home both knew he would lose his protection if his father was left waiting outside after school with Lake already gone.&nbsp;&nbsp; He couldn&#039;t tell if she was upset as she shrugged and walked off.<br /><br />&ldquo;Lake pick up your things.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Mrs. Kavala spoke holding out the yellow slip that had just been dropped off at her desk.&nbsp;&nbsp; His tail was ticking even before he had stood up.&nbsp;&nbsp; It was ten minutes before the class ended.&nbsp;&nbsp; He knew Argent had an outdoor class behind the school and Jayra was on the second floor.&nbsp;&nbsp; The squirrel walked slowly to the office thinking, sure the idea of him shouting out a code word in the hall was a good idea to try and find some help but Lake doubted it was going to be very effective in getting anything except more trouble, like punishment for disrupting a class.&nbsp;&nbsp;Besides at the moment he was worried the feline wouldn&#039;t even try to get out of class if he did call out to her.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />&ldquo;Took you long enough.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The secretary sneered pointing to the phone on the counter as he walked in.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Hello?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake asked<br /><br />&ldquo;Lake, are you sure you want to do this.&nbsp;&nbsp;I have to drive Carla and her daughter to the hospital as soon as she&#039;s ready.&nbsp;&nbsp;I think I might get back before school got out but this is going to take a while.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; His father rattled off.<br /><br />&ldquo;So I can go?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake asked surprised.<br /><br />&ldquo;NO.&nbsp;&nbsp;I only asked if you&#039;re sure you want to go.&nbsp;&nbsp;Where does he live?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake paused wondering what to say.<br /><br />&ldquo;I don&#039;t know, only that they live a few streets over.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Do you realize how dangerous this is?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; His father asked very quietly.<br /><br />&ldquo;Ya dad I know, but I&#039;d rather find out now, run back to school and climb a wall or something then find out later.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The young squirrel explained.<br /><br />&ldquo;I&#039;ll be at the school at six pm.&nbsp;&nbsp;I&#039;m not going to wait long so make sure you&#039;re there, understood!?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;I promise dad.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; After that it was only a matter of getting the irritated canine to listen to his father&#039;s explanation, which she actually seemed to enjoy doing, once she realized what was up, which got her to write out a note for Mr. Lantor allowing him to leave class when it was over.&nbsp;&nbsp; He hurried back upstairs and slipped into Mrs Callor class several minutes late, but besides the questioning look she gave nothing happened as Lake quickly made his way to his seat.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />Jayra met Lake in the hallway after his last class having told her at lunch that he had permission to go.&nbsp;&nbsp; She took him out the smaller of the two back doors under the east side stairs and into the yard area he had seen from above several times but hadn&#039;t yet had a reason to check out.&nbsp;&nbsp; The squirrel watched as she pointed out the small cafeteria and plastic bench tables that were placed near the wall under an awning.&nbsp;&nbsp;Otherwise the whole back side was nothing more than hard packed dirt, around two acres, that was enclosed by the five foot stone wall that encompassed the school.&nbsp;&nbsp;Another thing he had never noticed was the large double hinged wood gate that was standing open, several tire ruts led to the cafeteria showed him what it was used for.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; The gates only open after school.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She stated as they walked through.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; Not that the wall is much of an issue.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She continued grinning at him.<br /><br />It didn&#039;t take long for them to walk to her house, just down to the corner, crossing both walkways, up one block, then turn and down a block and a half to a small, plain two bedroom house.&nbsp;&nbsp; There was barely enough space in the front room for the couch and dining table that sat half way between the front room and the kitchen, Jayra took off her backpack and tossed it to the couch.&nbsp;&nbsp; As she took Lake&#039;s pack she asked, &ldquo; So what do you want to do first?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />&ldquo;I don&#039;t know, what would you...&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;The tabby had grabbed the squirrel&#039;s arm and pulled him into a hug staring at him as he started talking, she stopped him with the lightest kiss on his muzzle before snuggling in against his body.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />&ldquo;I&#039;m all about the bad boys Lake, and you are a bad boy with out even trying to be one.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He shivered as she gave the lightest of purrs hugging closely and nuzzling up his neck.<br /><br />&ldquo;Well I uhh, I think the bedroom is better right?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; What else could he say, this was only his second encounter and his first had barely been two weeks before.&nbsp;&nbsp; He returned the hug stepping just a bit closer so she could lean against his body.&nbsp;&nbsp;Jayra&#039;s arms ran up his back to his neck as she continued to snuggle under his chin purring louder as her mouth suddenly went from rubbing to wide open pinching into his neck while her claws gripped firmly at his scruff preventing him from moving away.<br /><br />For a few seconds his tail went wild, his own paws grabbed her shirt but with the pressure she applied he knew there was nothing he could do when she closed her jaws.&nbsp;&nbsp; Caught, trapped, pinned... it was over.&nbsp;&nbsp; The squirrel went slack nearly forcing the tabby to support his weight as his hopes, dreams, his entire life came to an end.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />He stayed completely still as she continued purring slowly growing louder to the point where he could feel her pleasure vibrating through his being giving him an odd sort of comfort.&nbsp;&nbsp; He had gotten so caught up in his final acceptance he failed to notice that one of her paws had gotten the front of his shorts open.&nbsp;&nbsp; It wasn&#039;t until her hand slid into his boxers and he tensed up with her first grope did he realize something else was up.&nbsp;&nbsp; When he tried pulling back though a growl popped up and both paws and her jaws tightened up.&nbsp;&nbsp; He let out a shrill whimper of pain and tried to swallow finding that nearly impossible with her jaw squeezing the front of his neck.&nbsp;&nbsp; He could feel moisture tricking down to his shoulder from what must be his own blood where her fangs had sunk in and once again went limp, slowly her purr returned.<br /><br />He was still trapped, cornered, and awaiting death, but as Jayra toyed with his penis and got a slow reaction from his body he began to wonder if maybe he would make it through the next moment.&nbsp;&nbsp; The squirrel kept his body frozen and unmoving as her other paw went down as well slowly disrobing his lower half and when he was free one paw took a firm grip on his shaft while the other clutched his nuts before she finally eased the pressure against his throat.&nbsp;&nbsp;A knowledgeable squeeze brought out an &#039;Eerk&#039; from the squirrel and a smile from the feline as she finally released his neck.<br /><br />&ldquo;You are very fun Lake.&nbsp;&nbsp;I&#039;ve enjoyed every moment of this.&nbsp;&nbsp; You really should be glad I don&#039;t like an ugly mess because I was tempted to feel your end.&nbsp;&nbsp; Now here is what is going to happen.&nbsp;&nbsp;I&#039;ll let go and you can follow me to my room.&nbsp;&nbsp; After you pleasure me we can have a little fun then clean up and head back to school.&nbsp;&nbsp;I still feel like warning you though, sure you can run, without your pants, and I&#039;ll chase you.&nbsp;&nbsp; And when I catch you I will still have my fun and kill you.&nbsp;&nbsp; No one is going to say anything, as long as I kill my prey right? I doubt most people will even give&nbsp;&nbsp;a second look since we are still so close to Callent.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She paused giving another small meaningful squeeze and getting a pained groan before finally letting his privates go.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; From now on you will do what I tell you.&nbsp;&nbsp;I don&#039;t want some other lady trap picking you off or some idiot thinking you&#039;ll feed their stomach.&nbsp;&nbsp;I am going to work you till I know you&#039;ll stay safe and in return you are going to satisfy some of my needs, including being my prey.&nbsp;&nbsp; You don&#039;t have a choice or say in this, and if you don&#039;t do what I say, I will kill you.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She snuggled up close to his neck again gently licking away at the blood and wounds she had caused.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />There was nothing Lake could do.&nbsp;&nbsp; She was nothing like the tabby he had come to know.&nbsp;&nbsp;Every part of her seemed to understand him, and right now she had a stronger hold on him than she had on his nut sack a moment before.&nbsp;&nbsp; His response was a small little nod. <br /><br />&ldquo;Good!&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;She smiled bright and cheery just like she did at school.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;You&#039;ll never make it alone Lake, you already know that, and you can&#039;t trust anyone that you don&#039;t have control of, or has control of you.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She reached out moving to pull his shirt over his head.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I want you to claim the collie.&nbsp;&nbsp;I can tell he&#039;s eager for it and you need to train him properly.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She stated.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />Lake shivered as her claw traveled through his chest fur drawing patterns against his skin.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Sunday, he&#039;s coming over Sunday.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He gasped clamping his mouth shut as her claws dug into his side.<br /><br />&ldquo;NO TAIL!!!&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She growled snatching his half tail and yanking.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; This is your weakness!&nbsp;&nbsp; It shows everything about you. Flick Flick Flick!&nbsp;&nbsp; You will do it all the time or not at all understand?!&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Yes.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;He spoke almost squeaking.<br /><br />&ldquo;Good.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Her purr was back nuzzling at his neck before licking his chin.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I heard about your fight with Nathen.&nbsp;&nbsp;Do you know why everyone thought you were done?&nbsp;&nbsp;Because here was this little squirrel knocked to the floor shivering so bad he couldn&#039;t even move his tail.&nbsp;&nbsp; No one realized you didn&#039;t need it, not even yourself.&nbsp;&nbsp; You will stop using your tail and start using your senses.&nbsp;&nbsp;Everything around you is dangerous and you need to make sure you are more so.&nbsp;&nbsp;Don&#039;t worry I&#039;ll teach you what you need to remember.&nbsp;&nbsp;I&#039;ll even take it easy on you for right now, but you will learn to be my little pet.&nbsp;&nbsp;You&#039;re going to please me, learn how to care for that dog, and get all the knowledge you need to avoid all those traps at school.&nbsp;&nbsp; One thing though, Lake if you don&#039;t do everything I say you will die.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She paused until he gave a little jerking head nod.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; Now you&#039;re going to start, by picking me up and carrying me to my bed, and hurry up or you won&#039;t have enough time for any fun.&rdquo;<br /><br />He struggled to carry the feline the short distance to her room kneeling down before her bed, between her legs as ordered.&nbsp;&nbsp; He spent more than twenty minutes learning how to nuzzle, lick, rub, and nibble at her privates before the feline finally exploded having nearly crammed his muzzle inside her snatch while both claws had a tender grip on his ears forcing him forward.&nbsp;&nbsp; He kept silent on the floor knowing not to question as she opened up her bed and laid out two towels folding them in half to make a sort of cushion.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Alright up on the bed.&nbsp;&nbsp;I&#039;m not sure how much of a mess you make but if my mother catches anything I&#039;m dead...&nbsp;&nbsp;Or that&#039;s what I should tell you.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She leaned down hooking one claw under his chin and drawing him to his feet.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; My mother doesn&#039;t really give a shit about me or what I do.&nbsp;&nbsp;Dad would of course would freak out but that&#039;s why I chose mother.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Gone again was any semblance of the female he had chosen to trust with his life, replaced by something that made him shiver deep on the inside.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; No tail Lake, or will I already have to punish you.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He had barely even brought his tail up to it&#039;s full height but instead allowed it to make one curved upward arc slowly letting it fall instead of continuing.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; It will be hard I know.&nbsp;&nbsp; Why don&#039;t you try tracing a letter with your tail instead until you can control it, but,&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She looked at him square in the eyes,&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I will take one bone piece off your tail each time I see any pattern or reason to those letters.&rdquo;<br /><br />Lake struggled with everything as the realization set in, she was in control, no that wasn&#039;t even right, she was an artist about to create a new piece out of his soul and body.&nbsp;&nbsp; The trembling started and she allowed him to shake gently pulling him forward purring her way through pleasure that he couldn&#039;t possibly understand.&nbsp;&nbsp; She only allowed a few minutes before suddenly giving his body a hard squeeze while her rasping tongue lick right over his sensitive nose.&nbsp;&nbsp; &ldquo;Enough!&nbsp;&nbsp; You deserve some pleasure for what you&#039;ve done so far and we have, maybe an hour or so left so into bed.&nbsp;&nbsp; After he had laid down on the pad of towels she rolled him on his side before she climbed in and worked herself between his arms with her back towards him.&nbsp;&nbsp; The feline raised a leg bending it at the knee&nbsp;&nbsp;before reaching a hand past her privates finding him still having a decent erection.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Your turn Lake.&nbsp;&nbsp;I&#039;ll let you take me as fast or slow as you want but I suggest some quickness.&nbsp;&nbsp; After all we&#039;re doing more than snuggling once you&#039;re done.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />The squirrel took the advice finding his way inside and thrusting firmly into her warmth setting a fast pace.&nbsp;&nbsp; She was warm, nearly hot and rubbed and twitched against his body making him hold tighter and move faster.&nbsp;&nbsp;Part of him knew this was still how she wanted things to go but there was pleasure in this, a great amount that left him grappling against her body and gripping tight trying to reach his peak.&nbsp;&nbsp; When his orgasm hit he half rolled on top driving in against her body and spewing loads of cum from his nuts just like a rodent feeling immense pleasure that helped to mute the terror he had felt as many parts of his body and mind finally succumb to a moment of bliss and nothingness.&nbsp;&nbsp; Her purr was the first thing he felt coming back, it was so comforting feeling his body slightly vibrate as he rested.&nbsp;&nbsp; He knew it would please her so he dipped his muzzle down and licked her cheek several times getting the purr to intensify.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />&ldquo;Roll back a little but don&#039;t pull out.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She told him reaching toward the nightstand next to her bed.&nbsp;&nbsp; The first thing she grabbed was a washcloth sticking it between her legs against him.&nbsp;&nbsp; When her hand went back it was to grab a pamphlet and hold it so he could see.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Callent&#039;s rules for new students.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She told him reading off the cover.&nbsp;&nbsp;Inside was filled with information on what was required for all students, much of which she had already told him but parts were still shocking to actually see written down on paper.&nbsp;&nbsp;Acceptable behavior, requirements, potential punishments, even a set learning curve was laid out in the book making everything clear with hinted consequences for failure.&nbsp;&nbsp; Also included was the advisory at the end which parents were suppose to sign and send back with the student.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />It stated:&nbsp;&nbsp;Your student is required to attend Callent every day unless a suitable reason is given.&nbsp;&nbsp;Your student is required to follow all rules within the handbook.&nbsp;&nbsp;Your student will learn and pass each grade every year or be required to take a special class to advance the grade.&nbsp;&nbsp; All students whom are unwilling to, or unable to graduate will no longer be taught in any school.<br /><br />When she was done reading she rolled out of bed passing the pamphlet over and headed for the small bathroom in the hall.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Come on Lake, we have to hurry up.&rdquo;<br /><br />Jayra opened the Jeep door and ruffled his hair with a little kiss on the cheek laughing as she pushed the squirrel inside.&nbsp;&nbsp; He had kept silent as she introduced herself and even explained the gauze she had wrapped around his neck.&nbsp;&nbsp; She told his father that she had been a little too playful but swore that was all it would ever be.&nbsp;&nbsp; She also gave her address and phone number stating that Lake was safe at her house in an emergency.&nbsp;&nbsp; The both knew differently, after they had cleaned up the tabby unleashed more secrets than he though possible.&nbsp;&nbsp; Marcus was her brother and Renald her father.&nbsp;&nbsp; Her parents were divorced and she personally didn&#039;t give a crap about either parent or any of her family, but it didn&#039;t stop there, not by a long shot.&nbsp;&nbsp; Everything had been a lie, including the fact she had been expelled twice and her mother had moved here three years ago so she could attend Callent, her brother was only&nbsp;&nbsp;transferred because their father hoped she would help raise his failing grades.&nbsp;&nbsp; He didn&#039;t catch it all, who could, when an entire new life was dropped on you in less than twenty minutes on their walk back to school and the time they waited for his father.&nbsp;&nbsp; The nice innocent kitty was an entire front that she hid behind not even sharing her true nature with her family.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Mother thinks I&#039;m a little rebellious but that I have settled down a bit and that is because its what I want her to think.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; It was the first thing she had told him leaving her house but it was the opening of an entire life he couldn&#039;t have guessed at.<br /><br />Lake&#039;s father didn&#039;t speak until they pulled into the driveway.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I didn&#039;t think bandages were a part of your promise, what did she, you two do?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; When the engine went off Lake wondered if his father had waited that long to give his son a chance to talk, or perhaps the chance to just go inside and hid, and he was considering it, after all how much could he tell his dad.<br /><br />&ldquo;I know you kinda thought maybe I was going to a guys house and that maybe I was just..&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;LAKE, I don&#039;t really care about that, I know how hormones can run, and I can even admit she looks cute, but I want to know about this!&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The squirrel flinched before his father&#039;s finger got close to his neck.&nbsp;&nbsp; He still wasn&#039;t sure how to even feel about it, she could have easily killed him.&nbsp;&nbsp; The more thought he put into it the more upset and unsure he became still trying to deal with everything she told him. <br /><br />&ldquo;She wanted to play.&nbsp;&nbsp;Everything, she was is a lie.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He took a deep breath trying to steady himself,&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; She trapped me plain and simple and understands me better than I could have ever guessed.&nbsp;&nbsp; She could,&nbsp;&nbsp;I really...&nbsp;&nbsp;it just..&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;He was shaking now unable to continue, he couldn&#039;t say she could have killed him or worse that he should be dead.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />His father quickly got out helping his son out of the vehicle and into the house.&nbsp;&nbsp; It was difficult at first for Lake who was suddenly receiving full concern and care that he never expected from&nbsp;&nbsp;his father.&nbsp;&nbsp; In the beginning his father was insisting they call the police to report her actions as a possible crime not even knowing the full extent, just that Lake had admitted she was playing with prey but he also fully objected to his father contacting the police.&nbsp;&nbsp; The story came out slowly and after a while Lake even told his father the full story about Argent.&nbsp;&nbsp; His dad listened, voiced some arguments, but didn&#039;t press allowing his son to continue.<br /><br />In the end Keith helped his exhausted son to bed, upset and extremely uncomfortable with what he had been told but trying to accept it.&nbsp;&nbsp; There had been so little hope when Sharah had died, and no hope at all for his son once his breeder status had been rejected a second time.&nbsp;&nbsp; In fact he had never expected him to reach his fifteenth birthday let alone nearly seventeen.&nbsp;&nbsp; His son was growing up fighting the entire world that considered him nothing more than an walking entree.&nbsp;&nbsp; The odds were still stacked so high there should be no hope, but each day his son came home from Callent.&nbsp;&nbsp;Keith was surprised that he had felt just a little hope recently, the first time since his son was a small child, that against everything Lake might survive.&nbsp;&nbsp;Maybe there was no way to truly fight and win but he realized his son would fight no matter what and would endure anything to keep going.&nbsp;&nbsp; The older squirrel leaned heavily against the wall knowing that this failure was his, so was everything else that was coming, it was his fault.&nbsp;&nbsp; He should NEVER have allowed Lake to go, being forced to be a living prey for some feline was not just upsetting but an outrage.&nbsp;&nbsp;Somehow though his son saw it as another way to survive, and the dog.&nbsp;&nbsp; He wasn&#039;t sure he wanted to think about that relationship yet.&nbsp;&nbsp;Although once again he could easily see why,&nbsp;&nbsp;it was a move alien to rodents, claiming another who would obey and watch your back.&nbsp;&nbsp; For his son it was probably an easy decision to help him survive.<br /><br />Yet was nothing he could do for Lake except let him try.&nbsp;&nbsp; He didn&#039;t have the money needed to buy his son protection, couldn&#039;t get him breeder status, and had no way to assist him at all.&nbsp;&nbsp; When Keith went to bed that night his sleep was troubled seeing visions of his son&#039;s death, only this time there were other bodies around Lake as well.&nbsp;&nbsp;Waking up a second time the older squirrel curled up in the darkness silently crying once again feeling the pain of his loss and the crushing helplessness that always pressed on his soul when he thought of his son.<br /><br />The knock on the door late the next morning had the older squirrel open it to a well dressed female mouse who introduced herself as Ms. Klarin who worked for the police department.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Sorry I already told the school he wasn&#039;t feeling well today and wouldn&#039;t be in, what&#039;s this about.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Oh, sorry to hear that.&nbsp;&nbsp; Is he at least well enough for introductions and a short visit?&nbsp;&nbsp;Does he often miss school?&nbsp;&nbsp; How long has he been sick?&rdquo;<br /><br />Realizing this wasn&#039;t about Lake skipping school he simply explained.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;It&#039;s been a very difficult week.&nbsp;&nbsp; He had an, altercation yesterday with another student and wasn&#039;t feeling well this morning.&nbsp;&nbsp; Can we do this another time?&nbsp;&nbsp;I was told you would call and make some appointments before you began interviewing him.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He added on finally realizing why the female was here.<br /><br />&ldquo;Well I always do my best to meet each client in person the first time, and today was actually supposed to be with you since I was expecting Lake to be at school.&nbsp;&nbsp;Any chance we might have time to talk for a bit?&nbsp;&nbsp;I&#039;d like to know more of Lake&#039;s history and what he&#039;s gone through.&nbsp;&nbsp;I was rather surprised pulling out his files and realizing what he&#039;s been through, especially when he was young.&nbsp;&nbsp; There might be a real problem if your son was responsible for harming another student and isn&#039;t able to recall anything.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The mouse had followed Keith into the house carefully appraising the home she could see.<br /><br />&ldquo;Today is not a good day.&nbsp;&nbsp;Yesterday I had an issue with a family friend and helped drive her daughter to the hospital.&nbsp;&nbsp;I was Stupid!&nbsp;&nbsp;I allowed him to see a friend who he was hoping would offer him help if things ever got really bad at school.&nbsp;&nbsp; She lives close and evidently they ended up having sex.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He waited but her only response was &#039;I see.&#039;&nbsp;&nbsp;Sighing he continued, &ldquo; She bit his neck, her claim was she was too playful but I feel like it&#039;s something more.&nbsp;&nbsp; However Lake will not allow me to call the police.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Wow how unexpected.&nbsp;&nbsp;A normal response.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ms.&nbsp;&nbsp;Klarin stated getting full shock from the squirrel.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Believe me many young teens end up in dangerous relationships and refuse to allow anyone to help.&nbsp;&nbsp; There are many reasons but each of them usually feel like the person they are with is willing to keep them safe or they believe the other doesn&#039;t want to eat them.&nbsp;&nbsp;Mr. Smalert I have to ask, how much help do you want for your son?&nbsp;&nbsp;I don&#039;t see the point of extending a lot of time and effort to someone who is going to end up a meal for a supposed girlfriend nor am I going to put a lot of effort into checking his mental status if it&#039;s going to be wasted.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;I don&#039;t know how to help.&nbsp;&nbsp;He&#039;s attending Callent.&nbsp;&nbsp;Can&#039;t get breeder status.&nbsp;&nbsp; There is nothing left but let him try to do what he thinks is best.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Keith stated fully defeated.<br /><br />&ldquo;Well I admit Callent is an extremely dangerous situation but why do you believe you son can&#039;t have breeder status.&nbsp;&nbsp; He obviously has a relationship with a female, is he sterile somehow?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She questioned.<br /><br />&ldquo;No they won&#039;t let him because of me.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Ah, your wife, and you never took another mate.&nbsp;&nbsp;Well that might have been an issue for some before now but I should easily get him protected and transferred out of Callent, honestly they would likely jump at the chance to have two more male breeders if you are willing, currently there is a desperate need.&nbsp;&nbsp; As I asked before let me change it a little, Mr. Smalert how much do you want to help your son?&rdquo;<br /><br />Keith couldn&#039;t stop from throwing himself at her feet and begging for help.&nbsp;&nbsp; He agreed to everything she said and offered her any help or assistance that she asked for.&nbsp;&nbsp; For the first time since his sons first rejection to being a breeder he felt a true hope of possibilities.&nbsp;&nbsp;Ms. Klarin stayed for nearly and hour discussing what she would do, asking him to keep his son indoors this weekend and possibly out of school Monday if she called and asked him to, Lake slept through the entire thing.<br /><br />&ldquo;Dad&#039;s gone.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake stated opening the door allowing Argent inside.&nbsp;&nbsp; The collie grinned jumping through the door and dropping to crawl into the middle of the living room rolling his pack off to dig inside dragging out a collar and leash.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;WAIT!&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake commanded stopping the other with a hand on his shoulder before squatting down next to the canine.&nbsp;&nbsp; With a careful paw he rubbed the fur on his throat showing the small scabs that his fur mostly hid.&nbsp;&nbsp; He watched as Argent gripped the collar tighter for a moment before letting go.&nbsp;&nbsp; &ldquo;Jayra?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Yes.&nbsp;&nbsp;She wants a prey pet as much a you want me to own you.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He could see the other thinking as he continued.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; She caught me, should have killed me.&nbsp;&nbsp; Then made me promise to follow what she tells me so she can train me to avoid traps.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;She wants me gone.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The words were quiet and Lake could tell they held more loss than he had expected.<br /><br />Not keeping his friend waiting he pulled the collar out that his father had bought him yesterday.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Lean forward.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake stated tapping the others nose before working to unclasp the collar.&nbsp;&nbsp;Argent wiggled as his tail thumped back and forth behind him as he leaned in and tilted his head to the side.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; You are going to be mine, and Jayra is going to teach me how to be a good master.&nbsp;&nbsp; She thinks its good for me to own you.&nbsp;&nbsp;I wasn&#039;t able to buy this one like she said I should, but I will find you a better one soon.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He added as the collar finally clipped into place and he took a moment to tightened it.&nbsp;&nbsp; As Lake began petting the collie on the head the canine suddenly buried his nose into the squirrel&#039;s chest whimpering.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Shhh.&nbsp;&nbsp;It&#039;s okay, as long as you&#039;re here I can be your owner.&nbsp;&nbsp; At school the three of us will still be friends for now, but I also have to listen to Jayra and do what she says.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;I don&#039;t care as long as I get you.&nbsp;&nbsp;Master.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Argent stated suddenly gripping the squirrel hard around the middle.<br /><br />&ldquo;Well dad only gave me two hours so maybe we should have some fun now and talk more later.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He spoke while reaching for the leash which he snapped into place pulling the rest out from the bag.&nbsp;&nbsp; Argent jumped up with a bark loud enough to make Lake flinch from the noise but the glare he had was lost as the collie began stripping.&nbsp;&nbsp; Even before the squirrel had gotten back to his feet the canine was flinging his shirt away and struggling with his pants that were caught up in his feet.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />&ldquo;Good doggies don&#039;t leave clothes all over the place.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake stated when the naked canine came back to&nbsp;&nbsp;sit at his feet.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; They would pick up their clothes to make sure my father doesn&#039;t see them.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He left all the slack the leash would allow as Argent moved around picking up his clothes in his mouth and carrying them to his backpack.&nbsp;&nbsp; He only used his paws to put everything in and zip it shut before picking the pack up with his mouth siting in front of the squirrel again wagging his tail behind him.&nbsp;&nbsp; He hadn&#039;t needed Jayra to tell him, and happily gave out pets and praise as he lead them both to his room.<br /><br />&ldquo;So, I know you want me to mark you.&nbsp;&nbsp; And, I guess I can, I mean, I just don&#039;t know what would be best.&nbsp;&nbsp;Jayra said a few things but she felt I should do it at school.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The rodent tried to explain as the canine sat at his feet silent and waiting.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Alright later.&nbsp;&nbsp;Let&#039;s have a little fun first.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; That statement got a frantic wag while the collie began sniffing and nosing the others crotch.&nbsp;&nbsp;Going with the advice he got he put a paw under Argent&#039;s chin and lifted it to look at him.&nbsp;&nbsp;&#039;Be firm and clear.&#039;&nbsp;&nbsp;He thought before giving his order,&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; You are going to please me, make me feel good my puppy.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; There, he gave him a little name, and order, but didn&#039;t spell everything out.<br /><br />Argent gave a little gruff as he began tugging at the squirrel&#039;s clothes with his mouth starting with the latch at the top of his pants easily getting it to pop free.&nbsp;&nbsp; It took a little doing and Lake helped out when he felt like the other was struggling a little to much but soon both were naked.&nbsp;&nbsp; The collie gave a big leap landing on the bed on knees and paws giving the slightest whine as he rubbed the space in the center of the bed.&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake gave a little smile as he stepped over and laid down suddenly having a doggie nose sniffing and licking all parts of his body burying into his armpits as well as his crotch, inhaling and licking up and down his body and limbs before heading up before running his tongue up his chin and over his nose.<br /><br />&ldquo;Master is ready and wants to feel good.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Argent said allowing one paw to curl around the hard rodent shaft.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Yes.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Was the only response Lake gave.&nbsp;&nbsp; The canine spun around&nbsp;&nbsp;moving over him gulping the shaft into his muzzle and suddenly began a noisy slobbering suck as Lake was suddenly treated to a view of the others bottom and fast wagging tail.&nbsp;&nbsp; He let out a little moan as the tongue curled all the way around his shaft slowly drawing up and nearly completely off before the muzzle plunged to his base mouth twisting around as the dogs nose was buried into his sac.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />Lake honestly wasn&#039;t sure about everything that was happening.&nbsp;&nbsp; Was he gay, straight, bi, or did he simply want sex.&nbsp;&nbsp; He felt it was likely the later.&nbsp;&nbsp;Life hadn&#039;t been very open to any possibility of him having any sort of relations but here he was getting blown by a guy after having sex with a female cat just a few days before, minus the fact that he didn&#039;t have much choice in that encounter.&nbsp;&nbsp; But still it was sex and damn it felt good.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I think I&#039;m getting close.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He called out having been rather excited the entire time he had waited for Argent to arrive.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />The information didn&#039;t change anything in the collie&#039;s actions who continued to make sucking, smacking, slurping, and tongue lashing motions bringing the squirrel to a very quick release.&nbsp;&nbsp;Once it started it was all the canine could do to keep swallowing spilling out more than he wanted to the longer the seconds pasted.&nbsp;&nbsp; He didn&#039;t choke but wasn&#039;t able to contain the full flow as its volume was more than the collie could drink down but once the long string shots began to taper back and finally come to a stop he went back and licked up every glob and dribble of cum that had escaped cleaning the rodents entire privates from the penis tip to the crack of the ass laying on the blankets.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />Lake returned the hug after Argent turned around and snuggled down next to him.&nbsp;&nbsp;Suddenly realizing the throb against his hip was the dogs red rod he tried to reach down to hold it.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; No Master please wait.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Argent had caught the paw and brought it to his nose sniffing then licking it going so far at to just place it against his neck.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; You said you wanted me to make you feel good.&nbsp;&nbsp;I want to make you cum again, inside, in a few minutes, so don&#039;t.&rdquo;<br /><br />The squirrel smiled as he relaxed, how ever things were going to go he decided to just let things go however they went.&nbsp;&nbsp; He could enjoy some time with Argent and still be available for what ever Jayra needed from him which meant he wouldn&#039;t have to worry about being tricked by anyone else or have to search for others that might or might not offer to help him survive.<br /><br />Lake had a splendid and fully enjoyable afternoon including a shower with Argent where he got release a third time while the collie had his second.&nbsp;&nbsp; It wasn&#039;t easy for him to squeeze out a whole lot of urine when the canine stepped back into the shower and knelt down after they dried off.&nbsp;&nbsp; The whole situation especially having Argent kneeling there wagging his tail excitedly left him barely able to perform giving just a small squirt and a dribble.&nbsp;&nbsp; The collie stood up and with a little lick on the cheek left the bathroom.&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake however wasn&#039;t expecting him to slipped out and returned with his pack handing over a jar with a sealing lid.&nbsp;&nbsp;Still surprise he did his best and was able to give Argent the gift he wanted when he left a little while later, after a very brief introduction to Lake&#039;s father.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />The other thing which was rather strange was that the principal ended up calling him later that evening speaking to both him and his father.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I understand sometimes you might need a day to recover from life&#039;s events.&nbsp;&nbsp; However you and I will have to have a serious discussion about the choice you have made.&nbsp;&nbsp;I expect you in my office as soon as you arrive at school which will be before your first class.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; It was ominous to hear Mr. Horvis talk and he couldn&#039;t suppress a serious shiver of real fear even though it was delivered through the phone.&nbsp;&nbsp;Nor could he shake the creeping fear that began to grow as the night wore on, wondering how much the wolf knew about his life and how he had figured it out so fast.&nbsp;&nbsp; His father didn&#039;t seem to have much to say either besides, &ldquo;I&#039;ll see that he is there.&rdquo; after the principal spoke with him.&nbsp;&nbsp; The other thing that really had him feeling unnerved was the fact his father hugged him after he hung up the phone telling him, &ldquo;Don&#039;t worry about anything.&nbsp;&nbsp;Just make it through school tomorrow and come home.&rdquo;<br /><br />Keith dropped his son off to school a full half hour early and the squirrel was escorted right in to Mr. Horvis&#039;s office where he found the wolf looking at him very displeased.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; It was my understanding that we had an agreement.&nbsp;&nbsp;I had the teachers keep away from you and you would help the students learn to become better hunters, correct?!&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Came the demand.<br /><br />&ldquo;Umm. Yes sir.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Although the principal hadn&#039;t moved nor raised his voice it almost felt to Lake that the predator was leaning over the desk growling at him.<br /><br />&ldquo;We set out rules and conditions to keep not just you but others safe while still allowing you to continue learning here, correct?!&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The squirrel could only nod having no clue what was going on nor what was wrong.&nbsp;&nbsp;During the short time he had sitting in the chair he had stopped his tail multiple times but couldn&#039;t prevent his personal tick from starting over and over.&nbsp;&nbsp; He moved a little in the chair, almost turning to look at the door before Mr. Horvis gave him a simple warning.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Lake, if you try to run from the office you will be killed.&nbsp;&nbsp; There are two teachers in the hall, if you even make it that far.&nbsp;&nbsp; However I told you we were going to talk about this, as long as you stay seated and answer my questions you will be allowed to go back to class.&nbsp;&nbsp; That is unless you actually plan on breaking our little arrangement.&nbsp;&nbsp; I told you the truth the first day, you will not graduate from Callent.&nbsp;&nbsp;I will take your life if you get that far, but until that time you will be safe from me and the other teachers, except your current actions are going to require a punishment.&nbsp;&nbsp;Several of the teachers have already asked that you take the Grade Passing Exam which I guess now I shall have to allow.&rdquo;<br /><br />Lake sat there for several minutes struggling to keep not just his tail in check but his entire state of sanity as the wolf continued to stare as time passed.&nbsp;&nbsp; &ldquo;I don&#039;t underssstand ser.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake finally squeaked out out the last word not able to contain a small quake that lasted for several seconds before the tail started ticking back and forth, and finally in next moment he was able to regain some control before allowing his tail slow to a stop.<br /><br />&ldquo;I see, it seems you are learning a few new tricks.&nbsp;&nbsp;Did you think that would be enough to keep you safe?&nbsp;&nbsp;Or did you believe what your little advocate told you?&nbsp;&nbsp;Do you think that if you get breeding status you&#039;ll be safe and could transfer to another school?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Sir?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake asked confused.<br /><br />&ldquo;That is not an answer Lake.&nbsp;&nbsp;I asked you a question and I expect an answer.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The wolf leaned back finally breaking the forceful pinning stare he had nailed to the rodent.<br /><br />Although it really hadn&#039;t changed much it allowed just a fraction of the tension in the squirrel to ease.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I don&#039;t know sir, I can&#039;t get breeding status.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Still seeing&nbsp;&nbsp;the wolf waiting he added on, &ldquo;I suppose if some how I was given breeder status then I guess I would be transferred.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;And now you know why I am upset with you Lake.&nbsp;&nbsp; You understand our agreement, you agreed to the rules I put out.&nbsp;&nbsp;I know you are still going to try and figure out a way to get around your future here but understand there is no way to transfer out of Callent.&nbsp;&nbsp; You graduate or you don&#039;t, do you understand that at least?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Umm, Yes sir but,&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;the rodent stopped.&nbsp;&nbsp; He couldn&#039;t figure out what had happened but it was obviously something had.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I don&#039;t understand.&nbsp;&nbsp; How can I get breeder status, I mean I didn&#039;t try to get breeder status.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Lake, I expect the total truth right now.&nbsp;&nbsp;I don&#039;t think you are going to lie to me but I want you to answer me with the truth.&nbsp;&nbsp;Did you speak with Ms. Klarin, she claims to be your advocate.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;A light but persistent buzz started signaling the start of school just before the wolf finished and Lake waited until it stopped.<br /><br />&ldquo;No sir.&nbsp;&nbsp;I don&#039;t know who that is.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Thank you Lake.&nbsp;&nbsp; That makes me feel a good deal better.&nbsp;&nbsp;ENTER!&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Mr. Horvis added to the light knock on the door.<br /><br />Mr. Lantor poked his head in, &ldquo;She&#039;s here.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Looking straight at Lake he added.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; Are you sure you don&#039;t want to run now?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Steph don&#039;t.&nbsp;&nbsp;It seems your student has no clue what exactly is going on, and doesn&#039;t know why he was called in.&nbsp;&nbsp;Though even with that he still might be taking Grade Exam I hadn&#039;t made a decision on that, you can show her in, and let Margret know I&#039;ll be sending Lake to class shortly.&rdquo;<br /><br />Lake turned and watched as the mouse walked in,&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Oh good you have him out of class.&nbsp;&nbsp; As I told you on the phone yesterday I will be taking him to get his breeding mark immediately and he will be moved to another location and school.&nbsp;&nbsp;I don&#039;t...&rdquo;<br /><br />There was a strong cat like growl that came as the door to the office closed firmly by Mr. Lantor.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Ms Klarin you are severely mistaken.&nbsp;&nbsp;First off it is against the law to steal a prey claimed by another, but even if I set aside the grievance my employee would have with your actions I told you Lake can not be transferred no will be, and you plus anyone assisting you will end up in prison for endangering the public, assisting in potential crimes, and of course interfering with sentencing by the justice administration.&nbsp;&nbsp; I got a full print out of Lake Smalert sentencing which requires him to attend Callent until he graduates.&nbsp;&nbsp; None of the students who are sentenced to attend here are allowed to be transferred.&nbsp;&nbsp;Graduation is the only way they are let back into society.&nbsp;&nbsp;Understand Ms. Klarin he was not transferred here there for can not be transferred out.&nbsp;&nbsp; You can of course get him his breeder marking, after the school day is over if you wish but even if you are his advocate you can not remove him from his classes only his father can do that and I don&#039;t see him here.&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake, you should head to class.&nbsp;&nbsp;I expect you not to be&nbsp;&nbsp;more than the allowed fifteen minutes late.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; It was a clear dismissal and at the young squirrel knew his best chance at surviving that day was obeying.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />&ldquo;I&#039;m sure I&#039;ll have a moment to speak with you after class.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Mr Lantor told him as he held the door open for the squirrel.<br /><br />Lake was a daze as he walked by the secretary and headed towards his first class.&nbsp;&nbsp; He still wasn&#039;t quite back with it when he walked into Mr. Lumb&#039;s class trying to wrap his head around the bomb that had just gone off.&nbsp;&nbsp; He was getting breeder status?&nbsp;&nbsp; He couldn&#039;t transfer school&#039;s?&nbsp;&nbsp;But the principal specifically stated he was here to help the student&#039;s learn so he was still going to be hunted?&nbsp;&nbsp; With breeder marks?&nbsp;&nbsp; It was easy for his mind to imagine no penalty would be administered if one of the other students did end up trying to kill him.&nbsp;&nbsp; WAIT........&nbsp;&nbsp; <br /><br />His mind and body did a full stop three steps into the classroom.&nbsp;&nbsp; He could go out in public without worry!&nbsp;&nbsp; He could probably meet Micheal again and visit some of his other old class mates.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;LAKE!&nbsp;&nbsp;Do you plan on standing there for the entire class?&nbsp;&nbsp;I will be upset if this is some stunt to disrupt my lesson.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Sorry sir.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The squirrel quickly responded moving to his seat and grabbing out his notebook.<br /><br />&ldquo;It seems your meeting with the principal went well enough but I expect you to pay attention if you don&#039;t want me to send you right back to him.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;No sir, I promise that isn&#039;t necessary.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake stated getting a small smirk from the older wolf as he turned back and finished writing out the four points of the advanced group strategy that had been interrupted.<br /><br />Lake did his best to keep his emotions in check and was feeling even more lost through his first three classes unable to locate Jayra or Argent during his breaks which made him wonder if something hadn&#039;t happened.&nbsp;&nbsp;True Jayra wasn&#039;t likely going to show up unless she had a reason but he thought for sure Argent would be there, especially since he had been told by the feline if he marked the dog he would be there every moment he could to show who owned him.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />The squirrel was happy and relieved to see Argent at lunch, the moment he exited Mrs. Callor&#039;s room he heard two loud barks as as the collie charged down the hall and pushed him up against the lockers before sitting on his heels to bark once more.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Sorry Master, my mother took my clothes and made me bathe.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He looked truly sad turning his head to show the collar that back on his neck was not the one Lake had given him the day before.<br /><br />Looking around the hall at nearly everyone who was watching them, he pet the canine on the head,&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;It&#039;s alright my puppy let&#039;s go eat lunch.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The hallway stayed fairly silent as Argent dropped in behind the rodent staying extremely close and leaning forward, almost like he was trying to put his chin on squirrel&#039;s shoulder.&nbsp;&nbsp; He had been glad Jayra had warned him, and according to her this might be the mild side of the treatment that he got.&nbsp;&nbsp; He also got a rather special treatment from the feline as well.&nbsp;&nbsp; She was waiting in the school&#039;s entrance way grabbing Lake&#039;s arm and snuggling underneath it.&nbsp;&nbsp; She gave a light nip against his neck before licking over the small scabs she had left all the while pulling him along towards their lunch spot.<br /><br />He squeezed her hard before he pealed himself off, getting her frown he simply said,&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;It&#039;s serious and I don&#039;t want you to be upset with me but hopefully this will make things easier.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He told her before turning back to Argent.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I need your help too.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He spent the first part of lunch gobbling up a cheese sandwich and a sliced up pear explaining what had happened that morning getting a random mix of emotions from the collie but the feline had only asked a few simple questions in a flat voice.&nbsp;&nbsp; He tried to assure her that it wasn&#039;t his fault and&nbsp;&nbsp;that he had no intention of changing his mind on either of his choices with the two of them.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />When he felt he had finally convinced them both he ended up scrunching his face and hissing, nearly shouting out as Jayra&#039;s claws dug firmly into his lower leg.&nbsp;&nbsp;Wincing as she growled and pulled his leg closer.&nbsp;&nbsp; She spoke first at the dog.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;STAY! Or I promise you I will end up killing him even if I have to have the entire lunch crew hunt him the rest of the day.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Seeing the collie still looking like he was ready to act Lake added.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Just stay Argent, it hurts but I think she has a reason.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;You&#039;re damn right I do.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She growled flinging his foot back.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; You stupid idiot, you don&#039;t even know what kind of danger you&#039;re in now.&nbsp;&nbsp; Breeder status or not the teachers are going to try and kill you.&nbsp;&nbsp;Tell me again exactly what the principal said about punishing you.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;That I might have to take the grade passing exam or something.&rdquo;<br /><br />She glared at the dog before spitting out, &ldquo; You have no clue either, your both a bunch of idiots.&nbsp;&nbsp;Easier Lake?&nbsp;&nbsp; The grade exam is a death sentence except for ONE student!&nbsp;&nbsp; All the teachers get to put one student forward who is either failing or having issues or whatever reason they make up.&nbsp;&nbsp; Then they have to come on a Saturday with just the teachers.&nbsp;&nbsp;Every year only one student ends up passing!&nbsp;&nbsp;Stupid, idiot, shit FUCKERS!!&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She screamed out giving Lake a vicious look that made his tail twitch and stand up, but he had been struggling with that so much this morning it dropped a few seconds later.&nbsp;&nbsp; It was a forced irritated smile that Jayra gave but it seemed to calm her down,&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; At least you can learn that much.&nbsp;&nbsp;Listen, I don&#039;t know exactly what happens but we need to figure out who&#039;s failing classes and anyone else that&#039;s been having issues with their teachers.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She paused staring at Argent for nearly a minute.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Don&#039;t get any stupid ideas.&nbsp;&nbsp; If you try to get into that test you&#039;re likely going to end up dead with him and I doubt the principal is going to let you help especially since he&#039;s claiming you.&nbsp;&nbsp; We are going to have to find out what happens if we..&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Jayra don&#039;t bother.&nbsp;&nbsp;I&#039;ll be able to tell you tomorrow, though it likely means I&#039;m going to have to take the test, what ever that entails.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Seeing&nbsp;&nbsp;her mouth open in a silent hiss he simply stated.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I don&#039;t think I can avoid it, Mr. Horvis sounded like several teachers wanted me in that exam and Mr, Lantor said he was going to talk with me a the end of the class.&nbsp;&nbsp;I know they both want to hunt me but I also know they want some of the students to try and improve their hunting skills.&nbsp;&nbsp;Somehow I think getting a breeders mark isn&#039;t going to change anything at school, however it does mean that maybe I could come over to your house, or Argent&#039;s.&nbsp;&nbsp;Besides if I have to all ask Mr. Horvis, he is...&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake paused for a moment to try and think of how to explain.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; He won&#039;t lie to me or hide what&#039;s going on.&nbsp;&nbsp;I can probably tell him I will take the test if he tells me what its about.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;I expect several days out of you Lake, ones I can enjoy before this stupid test.&nbsp;&nbsp;Otherwise I will make sure you don&#039;t get to take it, and if you want the truth then hear this.&nbsp;&nbsp; I have several, cohorts that would be happy to help me take those advanced group tactics you&#039;re learning to a whole new level.&nbsp;&nbsp;I claimed you first so most of them are staying back, especially after what you did to my brother, but you had better keep me satisfied, understand?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The squirrel shivered again seeing the whole other side of the feline and realizing he still probably didn&#039;t know enough about her true self.&nbsp;&nbsp; He didn&#039;t resist at all as she gave a playful smile and crouched, pouncing on him with a light growl.<br /><br />&ldquo;You are trouble Lake, but exciting.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She whispered in his ear.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Keep me happy, do what I tell you, and there is a chance you might even survive this stupid test.&nbsp;&nbsp; You are right on one thing though, I get to go on a nice date, out in public, and it&#039;s going to be your treat right?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lake gave another little shiver feeling her nuzzle along his neck while one of her paws had suddenly appeared at the front of his pants. Things were certainly going to be exciting and all he could do is hope to survive it all.</span>",
