Lead looked up at her “you alright Dashie” Rainbow nodded “yeah I’m alright” Lead reached up and pulled Dash tighter against him “good cause you know your my whole world Dash” Dash smiled and wrapped her hoofs around lead's neck “and your mine Lead” Lead gently pushed Dash's mane back and licked her neck causing the mare to moan under her breath “that tickles Lead” Lead grinned and kept licking her” Rainbow started squirming trying to get free from his grip “seriously Lead your going to make me wet myself Lead” Lead grinned and stopped “alright I’ll stop” Rainbow quietly slipped off her stallion and laid out on the bed next to him” Lead smiled rolled over and kissed her muzzle. “I’m going to go grab a drink dashie” Rainbow didn't answer “dashie” Lead glanced at her to see she had drifted off to sleep  “sleep tight my beloved mare” Lead slowly pulled a sheet up over the sleeping blue mare and slipped out of the bed and trotted towards the door as he did he glanced back to Rainbow asleep on the bed as he did she shifted and pulled lead's pillow in closer to her. Lead quietly closed the door and began to walk down the hallway as he walked past his guest room he glanced in to find Silver asleep on the bed with Scootaloo snuggled up to her as Lead looked on scoots looked up and waved Lead smiled and gestured back to her then he turned and continued downstairs as he trotted through the front room. Where he was surprised to see Dark Abyss sitting there looking out the front window as Lead walked in Dark glanced up and gestured for Lead to come over Lead stood there a little hesitant to do it since he was sure Dark was still pissed off at him but finally Lead trotted over and stood there looking at Dark “what's up Dark” the Dark gray stallion looked at him “thank you for not letting me die Lead I know we never really see eye to eye on anything” Lead bent down in the window next to him “i know I made your life a living hell in the factory” Lead stopped him in the middle of his sentence “what happened at the factory is in the past now Dark and I prefer it stay there” Dark laid his head on lead's shoulder catching the battle hardened stallion off guard “alright Lead but I mean it I’m sorry” Lead sat there unable to move “Dark are you feeling okay” Dark looked up at Lead “yeah it's just your fur is so soft” Lead blushed “um thank you?” Dark quickly sat up “I’m sorry Lead that was out of line of me it's just I escaped the factory so I could find you”  “oh I see” Dark sighed and laid down facing out the window  “forget I said anything” Dark what's wrong”  Dark didn't answer Lead leaned over and rubbed Dark's chest “Dark come on say something” Dark continued to ignore him Lead slipped up onto the sill with him “Dark come on I’m sorry Lead pulled Dark over onto his back the stallion turned his head to look away from Lead as he slipped up onto him and ran his hoof down his chest causing the stallion to blush “Dark I''m sorry please talk to me I'm happy to hear you escaped to find me I just want to know why” Dark turned his head and looked Lead straight in the face “because Lead I very much like you back at the factory when I saw you I felt my heart racing and my wings throbbing” Lead laid there on top of Dark unable to speak. When Lead finally regained his voice he looked at Dark “i made your heart and wings throb” Dark nodded “yeah I just never had the courage to tell you” Lead smiled and stopped Dark mid-sentence “i understand Dark” Dark looked away “but your a married stallion” Lead shrugged “yeah but Rainbow wouldn't mind if I had myself a stallion cuddle partner” Dark smiled “really” Lead leaned in a little closer and kissed Dark’s muzzle “yeah really she won't mind” Lead stood up and bent down “hop on partner I’ll take you upstairs to the bedroom and show you that Dash won't mind” Dark looked away “I’m still a little sore from being dead can we maybe do it later” Lead nodded “sure thing but do you still want me to take you upstairs and lay you down in my bed it's a whole hell of a lot more comfortable than that window sill” Dark looked at Lead “that sounds nice” Dark slipped onto Lead's back “are you sure I’m not too heavy for you to carry” Lead nodded “nah I can handle you” Lead slowly walked out of the room and trotted towards the staircase “lead can I ask you something” Lead glanced over his shoulder “sure go ahead Dark” “why did you save that little filly” Lead looked down “because Scootaloo means something to me and I just couldn't do it anymore the screams still haunt me” Dark glanced at Lead seeing the single tear run down his cheek Dark reached out and wiped the tear away. “i see hey Lead you know I may be up for a quick cuddle if you are” Lead blushed a little “that sounds nice I promise I’ll be gentle with you we wouldn't want your heart to stop again now would we” Dark leaned up and nuzzled lead's ear. “thank you again for not letting me go that easy” Lead glanced at him “as I said I did it for Silver she cares about you and well” Lead paused “Dark I care about you too” Dark smiled a little bit “thank you Lead that makes me feel much better” as the two of them walked into lead's room Lead walked over and bent down next to the bed as Dark pulled himself off onto the bed. “thank you Lead” Lead looked at him “sure thing Dark just let me slip my armor off quickly unzipped his vest and slipped out of it allowing it to fall to the floor with a thud “how do you wear that heavy thing all day” Lead glanced over at him oh you get used to it after awhile eventually you don't even notice it anymore” “really” Lead nodded “yeah I’ve been wearing it so long I can't feel it anymore I mean yeah this armor is probably why I have back problems but hey” Lead shrugged as Dark sat up “well maybe I could um rub your back if that's okay” Lead smiled at him “yeah that sounds nice Dark” Lead slipped into the bed and laid out on his stomach Dark slipped up next to him and began to rub Lead's back beginning at his shoulders and moving down the length of his spine “does this feel good Lead” lead laid there enjoying the sensation “yeah that feels good Dark” Dark smiled timidly as he continued to rub Lead's back. So Lead can I um ask you something Lead glanced at him “yeah sure Dark what's on your mind?” Dark looked away and took a deep breath “lead why didn't you kill me back at the factory when you had the chance I mean I was down all you had to do was turn and leave I would have died.” Lead looked down his mind drifting off to the exact night Dark was speaking of. “i mean no pony else there could have saved me you we're the only medical pony on the clock that day” Lead nodded his mind replaying the scene in his mind “well Lead?” Lead paused and then finally spoke “well maybe it's just the fact that was when I still cared about my job and well I saw it as my duty to save you I mean you did just collapse in front of me” Dark nodded “so if that occurred again what would you do? Lead rolled over and looked at Dark straight in the eyes “if you mean after I started to hate my job well you wouldn't be here now” Dark's ear's dropped “so you would let me die” Lead gently rubbed Dark's ear “Dark that was then now I as I demonstrated I wouldn't let you die” “for silver right I mean you only saved me for her right? Dark rolled over in the bed looking towards the wall as Lead sighed and slowly hovered up off the bed “I’m going to go grab a drink would you like me to grab you something” Dark didn't answer “Dark” Lead slowly hovered over and rubbed the stallions back. I saved you cause I wanted to not for Silver or anyone else I did it for me” with those words Lead slipped out of the room leaving Dark there alone to ponder what Lead had just said.

 As Lead slowly walked down the stairs he was surprised to find a solar guard sitting on the couch along with one other standing by the door as Lead walked in the one by the door glared at him “sir we have company” the guard on the couch looked up “oh that's Lead this is his house “lead smiled at the guard “hello cloud old friend what brings you to my little slice of heaven in the woods” the guard slowly stood up and slipped off his helmet “well I wanted to see my old friend but I had heard he was dead but honestly I didn’t believe it I mean the legendary captain Leadbarrage dead” Lead grinned “not dead just retired and enjoying his little slice of heaven in the woods” the guard by the door rolled his eyes “that's not the way I heard it” Lead glanced towards him “well then smart ass how did you hear it cause I would love to hear what the rookie has to say.” the other guard slowly stepped forward pulling off their helmet “well first of all my name is Storm and I am not a rookie I have been a guard for fifteen years” Lead shrugged “could have fooled me I mean you look like you just came out of the academy” the guard gritted his teeth as \tCloud looked at him “oh relax storm Lead was only kidding right Lead” “yeah rookie I was kidding you seem like a you've seen some action maybe not as much as me but still I imagine you've earned your stripes and scars” the guard grinned as he looked at Lead “you better believe it.” Lead turned back to cloud “so as I said what brings you to my little cabin in the woods” cloud slowly looked up “well Lead as hard as it may be to believe princess Celestia sent us we need your help” Lead sat up “no way in hell am I helping that tyrant” “lead please its about the factory princess Celestia wants it destroyed once and for all and she feels that its a job best left up to since well...” Lead shot up “what cause I was head of security and therefore would be the perfect escape goat well not this time” Cloud sighed as he laid back “lead your not doing it for her your doing it for all the ponies that live in Canterlot in the shadow of that place” Lead slowly sat down in a chair across from cloud “you mean the same ponies that called me a monster for working there threw things at me looked at like I was a monster” “cloud looked at him “no Lead I mean for the ones that saw you as an innocent stallion doing what he had to do to take care of his family even if it meant doing a job he hated” Lead closed his eyes as he leaned back in the chair rubbing his face with his hoofs. “what did she have in mind exactly and by that I mean what am I in for if I agree to this” “well she was going to completely leave it up to you to decide how to attack it all she said is she wants it gone and you have full authority to do what ever you deem necessary” Lead thought to himself “yeah and that don't sound like a set up” “oh and Lead its not a set up princess Celestia is prepared to fully pardon you.” Lead grinned “pardon me for what I did nothing wrong” “look Lead I am just repeating what she told me” Lead nodded as he looked at cloud “yeah I bet she used those exact words right” “actually yes she did use those exact words and she also wanted me to tell you that if you do this her she will make you the new commander of the solar eclipse task force” “yeah right so why didn't she come here In person she sent you two” cloud looked up “lead if she stepped foot anywhere near your house you would slaughter her.  “Lead looked up “yo got that right I would do exactly that since I am a slaughter happy stallion.

 “oh come on Lead don't let my sister get to you” Lead glanced up to see Luna standing in the doorway she slowly walked over and nuzzled lead's ear “her time is drawing near anyhow” “lead nodded as cloud looked at him “well whats it going to be Lead yes or no?” Lead slowly stood up as he did Luna could spy the gun in his hoof “hmm let me see” in a flash Lead raised the gun taking dead aim at Cloud “tell that tyrant that if I come back to Canterlot that it will only be to slaughter her and take back that castle for my beloved Luna”. Storm glared at him “that is treason Cloud are you just going to let him stand there and say such things? Cloud glanced at the rookie out of the corner of her eye “Storm he has a. .45 pistol pointed at my head so yeah he can say what ever he wants and besides Lead is already wanted for treason and many other crimes” Lead pulled the pistols hammer back slowly turning it towards the rookie “so what storm is trying to say is that at this point I have nothing to lose” storm reached out and pushed lead's gun down “look Lead to be honest I am kind of hoping you agree to do this solely on the basis that I am tired of the way she struts around like a damn god” Lead glanced towards the mare “so your hoping I will take her out for you” storm looked at them in pure shock as he slowly backed to the door “storm stop where you are right now storm think about it what she did to you the pain you still feel in your side” storm reached down and rubbed his side then slowly looked up “you know what your right she has been in power for too long. Lead smiled a little bit “so I take it your on our side now” storm slowly looked up “yeah I will not allow her to ever do what she did to me and my sister again. Storm nodded “yeah she had her chance to step down peacefully”. Lead nodded “yeah but she is too hard headed to ever consider listening when we gave her the chance so now she has to die.
