  "description": "I advertised for one free badge on FA. I wanted to try to get back into traditional media. I would've opened up here too, but I just don't have the watcher base here to try and juggle both sites at once when it comes to things like that, although I probably will advertise here in the future too. I'm so bad at remembering to upload here. XD\n\nAnyway, I asked people to fill out a googledoc form. I chose one of the 100 applicants. my decision was based on the availability of colors I had (I used Prismacolor markers/pencils, sharpie, and gel pen for this), because I didn't want to have to go out and buy more--especially if it's a color I don't forsee myself using too often. I also based my decision off of whether they intended on attending a convention in the future, or had attended them in the recent past. Additionally, I asked whether they already had badges of their character. Some applicants had over 25 (WOW). I wanted to create a badge for someone who didn't have one of their fursona and wanted one especially because they were attending a con in the future...SO voila, Mirepoix was my main choice candidate!\n\nThis was done on recycled paper (earthbound). It's a photograph of the badge, since my scanner likes to do ridiculous things to whatever I scan. It has since been laminated. I will be mailing this to the recipient tomorrow. I think this came out relatively well, considering this is only the second badge I've ever done!",
