I don't stream too often because my computer really overheats, and doesn't like multiple windows open so I limit those. To preface this process, I know there are probably easier ways of doing things than how I do them. Or better ways. I never had classes to learn Photoshop, it was pretty much trial and error, and asking a few questions online here and there, so I am by far no expert with any program nor artwork in general. Additionally, I describe things (such as brushes) in what I assume to be incorrectly because I don't know their proper names.\n\n\nPANEL 1: Lineart--I did not use Photoshop for this, I used Corel Painter X with the Pen>Scratchboard tool. Got this nifty idea from another artist. I wish I remember who they were. It took time to get used to, but I actually found it relatively easy to use after I realized I could calibrate the pressure and angle of how I draw. Lineart was done on one later, except for the lace on her legs and fishnets (done in Photoshop). Both were brushes found on DA. I used the Transform>Warp tool to curve them. I'm still learning this tool, so I do realize it's not perfect. Far from it, in fact, but I wanted to explain how I work with mesh stuff.\n\nPANEL2: Flat colors--(the remaining panels were done in Photoshop)I do one later solely for the character. It's all one color. Then I created clipping masks for each element on the character (i.e. corset, corset ribbing, bow, corset frills, white markings, inner ear, undies, etc). I do the same for each pillow, the blanket has its own layer, etc. You get the idea. I do this because it's easier for me to change a color if I don't like it. For instance, I changed the color of the pillows NUMEROUS times because I really couldn't figure out what color I liked best. It's easy to have the general pillow color on one layer because I can just continue to change the pillow colors until I am satisfied, without changing the color of everything else.\n\nPANEL 3: Shading--I create a clipping mask for everything (yet again). In this, I had a clipping mask layer entitled \"shade\" for the Pillows, Blanket, Character, and Sheets. I colored the entire layer a dark blue (or in this case, purple I think). I kept the layer set on normal, because I am terrible with overlays. I put the opacity as around 55% or so, and then used a softer brush to erase the areas that I didn't want shaded. I did not use the airbrush (soft round brush?) to erase, I used one that looks like the brush fades on either end, to erase. I set the eraser opacity to around 30% or so and erase the areas I don't want shaded.\n\nPANEL 4: Finishing Touches/Highlights--I think this is my favorite part. I go back to each clipping mask layer and give each a finishing \"touch\" of another color. I take the soft round brush, set the opacity around 15-17%, make it rather large, and then add a few highlights of other colors to each layer.
