I found myself drawn to Hawthorne, a meek and reserved eevee ~ and Eglantine, a frail, sickly umbreon who is confined indoors due to her heart condition. In Hawthorne's circumstance, he is greatly limited in his life due to sharing his body with his twin, Rose, who was absorbed into him while they were still in the womb. Rose torments Hawthorne often, giving him little room to express himself. Egla, on the other hand, is physically limited within the manor, and cannot enjoy the splendors of the outside world. Both individuals are forced to exist as passive observers to life, as opposed to being able to engage freely within it. Hawthorne's reaction to this is to have his head down, feeling hopeless about it all, though Egla is capable of feeling envious and resentful, wounding herself and playing with her own blood in isolation.
I like characters that are underdogs... I wanted to envision what could happen if these two collided. It might not look like it, but I wanted them to 'help' each other feel noticed and seen.
Also, it might not be very apparent, but Hawhtorne is intersex, and has a large clitoris that becomes stiff and erect when aroused. He identifies as male, however.
