A very light drizzle falls down every few minutes, but that doesn't stop Jill at all. She finds it refreshing. She tries to forget what happened yesterday, but it stays in her head. It often seems that the harder she tries, the more it resists. Then, she has enough of it. As if she can beat it out of her head and out of frustration, she swings her right fist around. She slams it against the wall of the shelter. Immediately, a pain surge shoots through her hand. At least two fingers hurt. Knowing she can't go on like this, she walks back to the utility room. She has left the door unlocked. Back inside, she finds Dixie, Erik and even Jade reading the newspaper at the dinner-table. After they emailed Kevin that they wanted to do the job, Dixie called Jade to let her know what is going to happen. Jade came to the shelter earlier as she was now the only one that knows what has to be done and how. When they say good morning to Jill, she doesn't answer. Jade immediately sees that there is something wrong. Her behavior might be from the fight with Bob, but how she is holding her right hand isn't. Without saying a word, Jade gets up and follows Jill. She stops Jill from going upstairs. She even pushes Jill to the office where she is forced to sit down. While Jill sits down, Jade closes the door for some privacy. Knowing this isn't the first time Jill had this, Jade immediately checks Jill?s hand. Finding out its just bruised, Jade wraps a hand brace around Jill?s hand. Jill hates that thing. It just doesn't feel so well with fur underneath it. She knows she has to wear it for a few days. This limits her hand movements a lot. The brace is a glove with metal rods in it. Her fingers are now fixed in a certain position and she can't even wiggle her finger tips. This works badly if you have a lot of work to do. It's even worse when it's your dominant hand that is now bruised. With her hand now wrapped up, Jade sends Jill upstairs to wash up and get dressed, while she gets back to the dinner-table. There, she has to explain what happened, but she can't tell much as Jill didn't tell much herself. They fear that they can't do the work Kevin is bringing in a few hours. They know that Jill is the only one that does this kind of work, as the rest finds it disgusting to stick their hands in old and maybe dirty clothing. They would rather risk a punishment then help Jill. While everybody is still upstairs, they come up with a plan.\n\nEverybody is barely sitting for breakfast, when Jade, who isn't eating and was in the office for a moment, shows up at the table. She is done just in time. Jade walks in to announce that Kevin has already passed the gate. While Jade opens the garage doors, Jill brushes the last bit of dirt in a dustpan, which if a bit difficult as she can only use one hand.\n\nWhen Kevin and his team starts to offload all the stuff from the two small trucks, Dixie and Erik even show up to check on things. They have never seen anything like this. In every shelter they worked in the past, there have been moments when stuff was delivered, but not this amount. One truck just holds all the clothing as it was found. The second holds pallets, giant plastic tubs where even Jill might fit in, the lids for the tubs and several bags. In the bags are papers that indicated the contents of the tubs and cargo straps to seal the tubs. Jill knows how all of this works and even indicates where she wants to have what. It takes about an hour, but everything is eventually in the garage. Jade even had to close the doors from the outside, as there was a pile of boxes in the way. When she is alone in the garage, Jill opens a door from the workbench to dig out a small transistor radio. She puts it on and starts to work. The clock is already ticking. In the living-room, Jade is watching the others doing the cleaning. It doesn't take long before Dixie and Erik show up there too. Very quickly, the conversation turns to Jill and the massive amount of work she has to do. Jade can only tell that Jill knows what she is doing. She has done these kind of things before. Then, Erik makes a small joke about the situation. Yesterday, Jill made the whole staff sweat with the 21 boxes from the attic. Now she has at least ten times the amount to go through on her own in just 48 hours. At least she doesn't have to find buyers for it. While they talk, the other Ani are sweating as well. Three of them are even sitting on their knees in the kitchen, scrubbing the tiled floor with small sponges. It has to shine when they are done. Even though they find it stupid that they have to do this, to them it's still better then sorting clothes. The only one who has it worst, is the one who gets send to the toilets to scrub the floors there by hand. They don't know who that is going to be yet. They only fear that Jade is going to pick the one who does its job the worst. And nobody wants to be that person.\n\nIn the garage, Jill is going like a train, despite her injured hand. She decided it was best if she started with the stuff that took the biggest amount of space. She got 50 moving boxes, 5 really big boxes, a dozen sports bags, a dozen plastic bags from various shops and stores and to make it complete a medium sized pile of loose clothes that were found on the floor. These loose clothes are even now still loose and basically everywhere. Getting those in the big tubs first would help a lot. At least it would clean up the place a bit, before she would do the real big pieces like the boxes. So piece after piece goes through her hands and ends up in one of the tubs. When she is finally starting with the first box, Jade and Dixie want to see how Jill is doing. They know that they have to let Jill alone and do her job. She has a very good system to do this work, but she doesn't want any disturbances like visitors. Jill doesn't hear anybody get in the garage when she opens the box. Immediately she sees its just underwear. The very first item she picks up is a massive bra. When she holds it in front of her she is shocked by its size. It's made for breasts the size of her head.\n\n``Damn!''\n\n``What damn?'' sounds from the door.\n\nJill turns around to find visitors. They too see the massive size of the bra.\n\n``Holy shit'' says Dixie shocked.\n\nDixie immediately takes a closer look. It doesn't take long before she finds the matching underpants. It too is massive in size. This was one big woman. Jade and Dixie want to stick around a bit longer, mostly to see if more massive sized underwear shows up, but Jill politely shows them the door, that she literally slams shut after them. Finally, its peaceful and quiet again. With nothing but the sounds of the radio, Jill quickly empties the box. She knows that Kevin wants those boxes too, so she carefully cuts the tape and folds them. After putting the now flat box safely in a corner, she grabs the second box and starts over. For the rest of the day, Jill gets only disturbed twice. Both times its to call her to eat. While eating, the others are mostly quiet. They won't even dare to talk to Jill and they don't want to talk about the work they have done or still have to do. Even during the evening, Jill is in the garage, busy working. While the others can have lemonade and play games, Jade lets them have some free time after dinner, Jill is alone in the garage with just a glass of water. She might have worked the whole night, if not for Dixie, who told her to go to bed later that evening. When she goes upstairs, everybody else is already sleeping.\n\nThe next day, Jill does her normal exercises outside, but takes it a bit slow because of her hand. Jill worked hard enough for her to have a bit of time off. She knows she will have a crappy day. Not only does she have to finish her work today, there will also be inspectors dropping by today. And right now, she knows the result already. It's the same as the last four years. They will work on her nerves and bully her until she snaps. Then she gets the label of being unfit to leave the shelter because of aggression. After doing her exercises, she goes back inside to wash herself. When she goes downstairs again, the others are already setting the table for breakfast. She doesn't say a word to them. They know how she feels right now and what they have done to her. It doesn't take long before Jill goes back to the garage and Jade puts the other back to work. This time it's not downstairs, but upstairs that has to be cleaned. Erik will keep an eye on the boys while Dixie will do that for the girls. This gives Jade enough time to handle the inspectors. They arrive just as Eva leaves to go to school. Dixie and Erik are relieved that Eva is in school the whole day and that she doesn't have to go through that. Dixie and Erik do their best to make sure she doesn't experience it at all. It's very handy if she has to go to school. After school she can hang out at a friend?s house. By the time she comes back home, the inspectors are already gone.\n\nJill is the first Ani to know that the inspectors have arrived. She hears their cars. Then she hears how Jade welcomes them and how she takes them to the living-room. Jill also hears how Jade calls for Dixie and Erik. It doesn't take long before she hears everybody get down the stairs. They have to assemble in the living-room. Nobody calls Jill to come too. She doesn't care. It just gives her more time to finish her work. With the music on in the background, she empties another box. Jill?s good mood is ruined when Erik calls for her. They checked if everybody was present, but Jill was nowhere to be seen. They tried to get her name checked on the list, as she is busy working, but the inspectors didn't want believe it. They wanted to see Jill present in the living-room. When Erik is back, he just says he told Jill to come and she is on her way. She is just finishing up something important. Almost a minute later, Jill does show up. Right behind the smallest inspector. It's a bit of a skinny man and also short. To compensate for this, he has the biggest mouth. Erik told Jill that he is the one who is ordering her to go to the living-room. When he ``senses'' that Jill is behind him, he turns around. He has to look up. To look even bigger than normal, Jill is standing up straight. She keeps her arms crossed in front of her and doesn't say a word. She just gives him a mad look. This will not be a pleasant day, for him. After being checked as present on the list, Jill goes back to the garage. She has enough work to do. The others are send back upstairs. All of them are regularly asked to stop and cooperate with a few small tests. In the mean time, another guest arrives. One where only Jade knows off. One, who has a particular interest in one particular girl. With the inspectors upstairs, talking with the Ani and staff, Jade leads the new guest straight to the garage. Just like every year around this time, he drops by the shelter to see how she is doing. Jade regularly emails an update to him, but he wants to see her for himself on a regular basis. He usually stays for just a few hours. In those hours he chats a bit with her and the staff. They discuss the problems Jill is having and how she is doing since his last visit. He doesn't know it yet about the fight between Jill and Bob. Just like always, she greats him with the most respect. She even calls him her master or sensei and is even somewhat submissive to him in a way that nobody else can get her. Everything she is right now, is because of him. He is a Taoistic Zen Buddhist too and trained Jill to be one as well to calm her down. Leaving her work behind for now, she takes him to the living-room to talk and some tea. They too want to talk with him, but they can't leave the Ani unattended. They keep asking her stupid questions, they keep standing in her way. Jade even has to call them off and put them at a bigger distance so that Jill can keep working. But it doesn't help at all. To try to make her snap, one of the inspectors, who is aware of Jill?s past, compared her to her mother. He shouldn't have done that. Jill?s mother is one of the people who made Jill?s life a hell. Being compared with that, makes Jill snap. She nearly assaults the inspector. Jade has to step in to persuade Jill to back off. Knowing how and when Jill snaps, the inspectors leave. They leave Jill alone in the garage. Nobody even dares to come close to her right now. After the door closed, a single tear rolls down Jill?s face. Why do they do this to her every time? After wiping the tear away, she quickly continues with her work. She plans on finishing around dinner time and she only has just a handful of boxes left. Rushing through it, she finds some trash. It's a collective name for everything Kevin doesn't want. Jill has found some weird things. A parking ticket. An empty condom wrapper. Half a library card. Kevin doesn't want that and doesn't even like to take it with him. Theresa just allowed it to be thrown away at the shelter. As Kevin is working until nine that evening, Dixie can call him today to let him know Jill is done with the work. When Dixie makes the call, Jill slowly starts to clean up the place a bit. Every time she finds money, she can keep it. As its only small change, she hasn't collected much over the past few years. As long as she can, Jill will save it for later. With the jar hidden again, she shifts her attention to the shoebox on her bed. She sits next to it. She can't believe she actually has it. She talked with Theresa about it, but she was never able to get it. Jill carefully opens the box to look what she actually has. Jill is barely done reading, when the others start to show up. She quickly gets up to help them set the table. During breakfast, Dixie and Erik keep a eye on Jill. She behaves weird today. She tells that Jill is in a bit of a conflict with herself, seeing the events of the past few days. It takes some time and the best thing they can do is let her deal with it alone. Then, Erik makes a small joke about the situation. Yesterday, Jill made the whole staff sweat with the 21 boxes from the attic. Now she has at least ten times the amount to go through on her own in just 48 hours. At least she doesn't have to find buyers for it. While they talk, the other Ani are sweating as well. Three of them are even sitting on their knees in the kitchen, scrubbing the tiled floor with small sponges. It has to shine when they are done. Even though they find it stupid that they have to do this, to them it's still better then sorting clothes. The only one who has it worst, is the one who gets send to the toilets to scrub the floors there by hand. They don't know who that is going to be yet. They only fear that Jade is going to pick the one who does its job the worst. And nobody wants to be that person.
In the garage, Jill is going like a train, despite her injured hand. She decided it was best if she started with the stuff that took the biggest amount of space. She got 50 moving boxes, 5 really big boxes, a dozen sports bags, a dozen plastic bags from various shops and stores and to make it complete a medium sized pile of loose clothes that were found on the floor. These loose clothes are even now still loose and basically everywhere. Getting those in the big tubs first would help a lot. At least it would clean up the place a bit, before she would do the real big pieces like the boxes. So piece after piece goes through her hands and ends up in one of the tubs. When she is finally starting with the first box, Jade and Dixie want to see how Jill is doing. They know that they have to let Jill alone and do her job. She has a very good system to do this work, but she doesn't want any disturbances like visitors. Jill doesn't hear anybody get in the garage when she opens the box. Immediately she sees its just underwear. The very first item she picks up is a massive bra. When she holds it in front of her she is shocked by its size. It's made for breasts the size of her head.
``Damn!''
``What damn?'' sounds from the door.
Jill turns around to find visitors. They too see the massive size of the bra.
``Holy shit'' says Dixie shocked.
Dixie immediately takes a closer look. It doesn't take long before she finds the matching underpants. It too is massive in size. This was one big woman. Jade and Dixie want to stick around a bit longer, mostly to see if more massive sized underwear shows up, but Jill politely shows them the door, that she literally slams shut after them. Finally, its peaceful and quiet again. With nothing but the sounds of the radio, Jill quickly empties the box. She knows that Kevin wants those boxes too, so she carefully cuts the tape and folds them. After putting the now flat box safely in a corner, she grabs the second box and starts over. For the rest of the day, Jill gets only disturbed twice. Both times its to call her to eat. While eating, the others are mostly quiet. They won't even dare to talk to Jill and they don't want to talk about the work they have done or still have to do. Even during the evening, Jill is in the garage, busy working. While the others can have lemonade and play games, Jade lets them have some free time after dinner, Jill is alone in the garage with just a glass of water. She might have worked the whole night, if not for Dixie, who told her to go to bed later that evening. When she goes upstairs, everybody else is already sleeping.
The next day, Jill does her normal exercises outside, but takes it a bit slow because of her hand. Jill worked hard enough for her to have a bit of time off. She knows she will have a crappy day. Not only does she have to finish her work today, there will also be inspectors dropping by today. And right now, she knows the result already. It's the same as the last four years. They will work on her nerves and bully her until she snaps. Then she gets the label of being unfit to leave the shelter because of aggression. After doing her exercises, she goes back inside to wash herself. When she goes downstairs again, the others are already setting the table for breakfast. She doesn't say a word to them. They know how she feels right now and what they have done to her. It doesn't take long before Jill goes back to the garage and Jade puts the other back to work. This time it's not downstairs, but upstairs that has to be cleaned. Erik will keep an eye on the boys while Dixie will do that for the girls. This gives Jade enough time to handle the inspectors. They arrive just as Eva leaves to go to school. Dixie and Erik are relieved that Eva is in school the whole day and that she doesn't have to go through that. Dixie and Erik do their best to make sure she doesn't experience it at all. It's very handy if she has to go to school. After school she can hang out at a friend?s house. By the time she comes back home, the inspectors are already gone.
Jill is the first Ani to know that the inspectors have arrived. She hears their cars. Then she hears how Jade welcomes them and how she takes them to the living-room. Jill also hears how Jade calls for Dixie and Erik. It doesn't take long before she hears everybody get down the stairs. They have to assemble in the living-room. Nobody calls Jill to come too. She doesn't care. It just gives her more time to finish her work. With the music on in the background, she empties another box. Jill?s good mood is ruined when Erik calls for her. They checked if everybody was present, but Jill was nowhere to be seen. They tried to get her name checked on the list, as she is busy working, but the inspectors didn't want believe it. They wanted to see Jill present in the living-room. When Erik is back, he just says he told Jill to come and she is on her way. She is just finishing up something important. Almost a minute later, Jill does show up. Right behind the smallest inspector. It's a bit of a skinny man and also short. To compensate for this, he has the biggest mouth. Erik told Jill that he is the one who is ordering her to go to the living-room. When he ``senses'' that Jill is behind him, he turns around. He has to look up. To look even bigger than normal, Jill is standing up straight. She keeps her arms crossed in front of her and doesn't say a word. She just gives him a mad look. This will not be a pleasant day, for him. After being checked as present on the list, Jill goes back to the garage. She has enough work to do. The others are send back upstairs. All of them are regularly asked to stop and cooperate with a few small tests. In the mean time, another guest arrives. One where only Jade knows off. One, who has a particular interest in one particular girl. With the inspectors upstairs, talking with the Ani and staff, Jade leads the new guest straight to the garage. She leaves him behind at the door. Thanks to Jade, he knows what Jill?s mood is. He is very careful when he knocks on the door. That someone is going to disturb her once again, makes Jill even more mad then she already is. But it quickly turns into happiness when she sees her guest. Doctor Heiji Yamaoka. The doctor Heiji Yamaoka. The one that managed to calm her down in the behavioral institute and shaped her into what she is now. Just like every year around this time, he drops by the shelter to see how she is doing. Jade regularly emails an update to him, but he wants to see her for himself on a regular basis. He usually stays for just a few hours. In those hours he chats a bit with her and the staff. They discuss the problems Jill is having and how she is doing since his last visit. He doesn't know it yet about the fight between Jill and Bob. Just like always, she greats him with the most respect. She even calls him her master or sensei and is even somewhat submissive to him in a way that nobody else can get her. Everything she is right now, is because of him. He is a Taoistic Zen Buddhist too and trained Jill to be one as well to calm her down. Leaving her work behind for now, she takes him to the living-room to talk and some tea. As Jade went upstairs too, they are all alone and can talk more privately. Upstairs, Jade informs Dixie and Erik about their other guest. They too want to talk with him, but they can't leave the Ani unattended. Besides, that he is having a talk with Jill has more priority.
About an hour and a half later, Jill and her ``Master'' are done talking. Jill was very honest about her fight with Bob and received a minor scolding from him. She should have known better and is just as much guilty as that Bob is. For the rest, he is happy that things are going just fine. He does share Jill?s concern about the fact that she isn't able to leave the shelter. Not even to try it. With enough to think about, Jill goes back to work as she wants to be done this evening. The next morning everything has to be sorted and she doesn't want to keep working for the rest of the night. So she absolutely doesn't want to be disturbed again, unless its someone that is calling her for dinner. Unlucky as she is today, someone is disturbing her. With Jade standing at the door to keep things safe, the inspectors are now focusing their attention completely on Jill and she gets annoyed a lot. They keep asking her stupid questions, they keep standing in her way. Jade even has to call them off and put them at a bigger distance so that Jill can keep working. But it doesn't help at all. To try to make her snap, one of the inspectors, who is aware of Jill?s past, compared her to her mother. He shouldn't have done that. Jill?s mother is one of the people who made Jill?s life a hell. Being compared with that, makes Jill snap. She nearly assaults the inspector. Jade has to step in to persuade Jill to back off. Knowing how and when Jill snaps, the inspectors leave. They leave Jill alone in the garage. Nobody even dares to come close to her right now. After the door closed, a single tear rolls down Jill?s face. Why do they do this to her every time? After wiping the tear away, she quickly continues with her work. She plans on finishing around dinner time and she only has just a handful of boxes left. Rushing through it, she finds some trash. It's a collective name for everything Kevin doesn't want. Jill has found some weird things. A parking ticket. An empty condom wrapper. Half a library card. Kevin doesn't want that and doesn't even like to take it with him. Theresa just allowed it to be thrown away at the shelter. Just when Jill wants to start with the very last box, Erik calls her for dinner. During dinner, everybody is silent. The inspectors are gone, but the effect they had can still be felt. They left the message that no Ani is ready to leave and that Jill must get her behavior right as she has only 4 years left. Even during the rest of the evening this message echoes around the shelter. Nobody is in the mood to play games and most will go to bed early. Around eight that evening, Jill finishes the last box. Before she cleans up, she goes to Dixie to let her know. As Kevin is working until nine that evening, Dixie can call him today to let him know Jill is done with the work. When Dixie makes the call, Jill slowly starts to clean up the place a bit. The big cleanup has to wait until morning when everything is picked up. While she is sweeping the floor, Dixie visits her. She wants to know how Jill is doing, but Jill isn't in the mood to talk. She hardly says anything. She just sweeps the floor and puts all the loose stuff from Kevin together. When Dixie goes to bed, Jill is still finishing the last things. She even has some trash to throw away. This trash surprised Dixie, as she didn't expect it. When she asks Jill what it is, Jill just says it trash and gets thrown away. If it's not clothes, its trash and that gets throw away like the dirt from the floor. Dixie gives Jill a pet on her shoulder for doing very good with the work they had and that she should be proud of herself.
When the whole shelter is already sleeping, Jill finally leaves the garage. She could have left it earlier, but she sat down on the floor to think. Everything that happened the past two days haunted her mind. She kept thinking that she messed up. Slowly, tears formed in her eyes. For a moment she was actually crying. Nobody has seen her cry in all the years she lives in the shelter. Then she got up, picked up the trash and walked out of the garage. Jill doesn't go to the dumpster, but takes everything upstairs to her room. There, she closes the door and puts the shoebox of trash on her bed. She grabs in her pocket and pulls out a handful of change. These coins go in a small jar she has hidden in her closed. Every time she finds money, she can keep it. As its only small change, she hasn't collected much over the past few years. As long as she can, Jill will save it for later. With the jar hidden again, she shifts her attention to the shoebox on her bed. She sits next to it. She can't believe she actually has it. She talked with Theresa about it, but she was never able to get it. Jill carefully opens the box to look what she actually has. The whole box is filled with sex toys and they are all brand new, unused in the original sealed box. The first thing she takes out of the box is a vibrator. She likes to use it, but getting batteries for it is going to be difficult. She places it next to the box. The next thing is a double sided dildo. It looks good, but she is alone. Like this, its goes on. She grabs a strap-on, but with who can she use it? She finds another vibrator, but again, no batteries. Then she finds a normal dildo. This makes her think. The past few days were a nightmare. So why not have a little fun? She quickly puts on her pajama's and her bathrobe. With the dildo in her pocket, she takes a careful look in the corridor. Nothing to see or hear. Perfect. As silent as possible, Jill walks to the bathroom. After closing the door, she walks to the last shower booth in the back. As you don't want to undress in the main space, every shower booth is big enough for that too. In the booth, she undresses and sits down on the floor. Time for fun. Maybe, the past few days weren't as bad as they looked at first. Late that night, Jill finally goes to sleep.
The next morning is just like every day. The only things that is going to happen today are the chores and Kevin drops by to pick up the stuff from the garage. When Dixie and Erik get out of bed, they are surprised that the newspaper isn't in the mailbox yet. Usually, Jill has put it in there by now. And as Jill did exercise yesterday despite her hand, they assume she is outside. Erik promises to get it after a cup of coffee. When they get in the living-room, they find Jill sitting at the dinner table, reading the newspaper. By the way she is dressed, she hasn't been exercising. When they sit at the table too, Jill doesn't say a word. She just finishes her reading, with a occasional sip of her tea. Having to wait for their chance to read the newspaper, Dixie and Erik discuss the previous day and the fact that Kevin is arriving in a few hours. Jill is barely done reading, when the others start to show up. She quickly gets up to help them set the table. During breakfast, Dixie and Erik keep a eye on Jill. She behaves weird today. After breakfast, when Jade has arrived, they talk about Jill?s behavior. Jade knows this as Jill has done this before. She tells that Jill is in a bit of a conflict with herself, seeing the events of the past few days. It takes some time and the best thing they can do is let her deal with it alone. Theresa did this too.
It doesn't take long before Kevin is at the gate. Jade lets him in. she, with Dixie and Erik, looks as Kevin and his people load the trucks. Kevin is surprised at the speed Jill had when sorting the clothing. If she wouldn't be stuck in the shelter, he would hire her immediately. Jill doesn't see or hear any of it. She is working in complete silence in the vegetable garden again. The rest are doing a few chores and Jill couldn't do the garage. At least not until Kevin is gone again. And she swept the floor last evening, so it's pretty clean. She will do it later today again. Jade was kind enough to make sure she didn't got any chores that would need the full movement of both her hands. Working in the vegetable garden can be done with just one hand. Right now, she is harvesting some things already. When that is done, she needs Jade?s help with preparing it for the freezer. Sitting between the beanstalks, she thinks once again about yesterday. Not about the inspectors, but about her master. He told her she did just fine, but that she lacks one thing that could mean the difference between failing and succeeding. She needs a lover. One that be a reason for her to really change for ever.
