        Lovebirds part 2 Spending time with a Special Friend 








                [A lot of things has happened since the last time I will quickly catch you up with everything that has happened so far. So Zumba and Nathan has been getting a little bit closer to each other. Well a whole lot closer to each other then normal. Zumba can see that Nathan is beginning to have very close feelings. But because there's species being so different. Zumba realize that it would be a little complicated. And he realized that something has to be changed to be able for him and Nathan to be together without creating a lot of problems. Meanwhile word has been getting out about them having such a close relationship. And concerns was beginning to happen.. also the others will be getting to see how close Zuma was becoming with Nathan and they were also concerned about the whole thing. There was wondering what Zuma falling in Love. And what to do about it because this is something that has not happened before. Not with Zumba anyway. Nevertheless they wanted to support them the best way they can. But they all came to the same conclusion that zumba had at first. There is no way this is going to fly over at hq. If they figure out anything that's been going on all chaos can break loose. Chase was thinking of a way that both Zumba and Nathan can be together without the constantly pressured of the hq. And only one solution came up. But it was very risky. Chase thought of a idea of them two can be together. But it's going to involve some strange science. Chase later on told Nathan that he may want to go talk to Jake the technician. In spite of what anyone think of him. He's pretty supportive of things like this. So Nathan took Chase advice and when they had to go see Jake the technician.] 


        At Jake the technician lab. 


        When Nathan got there he couldn't believe the building. He didn't think anything like this exist in adventure bay. But it did. But it was well hitting too. Not many people know about this place. Jake like to keep it like that. Anyway Nathan went ahead and knock on the door. There was no answer. He seen a button so he pressed it. Behold someone answer back. 
“Who dare come to my place! Go away this is private property! If you do not have any official business I will not talk to you!.”. A loud booming and intimidated sound was coming through speakers. Nathan swallowed his spit a little bit. Hearing that sound making Wonder with this a great idea. And maybe he should turn back. But he didn't. And he still is grounds. 
“It is I the great Nathan! I am here to see the most magnificent and wonderful great scientist Jake!”he said with great confidence. There was a moment of silence for a while. May forward the doors slowly cracked open. 


“I am flattered please enter do not touch anything.”he heard a loud voice coming through the speakers. So he entered in very slowly. When he got in the door shut behind him. When he walked into the place he can see it looking like a giant building. There was a whole lot of things that he was seeing. You see all kinds of glass bottles with all kinds of weird liquid in it. As he walked it a little bit more he can see displays of some kinds of creation that maybe Jake was making. Into eventually he was greeted by Jake. 


“Oh I need to stop being so gullible. You say you are the great Nathan. I was thinking that you was a person of higher quality. Or maybe hq. But you're not you're just a kid. Okay kid what do you want?”Jake was not impressed at all with nathan. He was wondering why Nathan was here in the first place. 


“Chase told me to come here. Because you making help me with a problem that I'm having.”he said to Jake. Jake look at him with a confused look. 


“So he did sent you here. Okay what is your issue what is your problem what is it that you trying to solve. I can make anything I can make anyone dreams come true. I can do anything I am the great magnificent Jake at your service.”he said with a smile as he bowed to him. Nathan was nervous he swallowed his spit. And took in a deep breath. Before he begin to explain to Jake exactly what it is that he wanted. Jake was kind of confused and also kind of shock. But nevertheless he wanted to give a try. But he warned Nathan messing with DNA is dangerous. But nevertheless he wanted to experiment to see what's going to work. 


“What's your accent is irreversible. Once you are whatever you become I can't reverse you back to your original self. Well not by the normal means. Also I much warn you. If it works. There's no guarantee that it will last forever. You might just end up reverting back to your old form. At least that's how it usually works. But I could give it a try. Who knows it might be a permanent effect or a temporarily effect. Are you sure you want to go with DNA transfusion.?”he said with great concern. Nathan agreed and beg him to go ahead and he wanted to go through with it. Nevertheless Jake agreed. He did led Nathan to the DNA exchanger. A strange little machine that he's been working on for quite some time. So he led Jake to the seat and told him to sit down. But it was one problem Jake needed a subject to be able to transfer a DNA from. 


“Oh what a pickle. Even if I wanted to I have to have a willing subject to be able to transfer dna. Or otherwise it would just draw it from thin air is vanish into thin air. We don't want that to happen now buddy.”Jake said it in a joking way. Nathan got real nervous about that whole joke.”not funny I don't want to vanish into thin air. I think I want to back out of this.”Jake looked at him.”it's just a joke all right. I'm not going to let anything like that happen. But I just warn you how it works. Anyway I think I got a old test subject around here somewhere.”


As Jake was randomly around searching for something he managed to find something. He brought to the machine something that Nathan never seen before. It looked like a dog but the same time it look robotic. He didn't know what that was. Jake reassured him that this particular robot contains DNA of a real dog. Nathan didn't want to question it anymore. 


        I went by and minutes turn into hours and hours went by and finally the process was finished. Behold Nathan has been transformed into a puppy. He look more like a crossbreed between German shepherd and a Rottweiler with a little tiny hint of a golden retriever. Yeah he is a super mutt. When Jake look at his body his new body he couldn't believe it. He was now a puppy just like the rest of them. He had brown fur, would it black circles around his eyes. He also had a pattern that was similar to a German Shepherd he had a brown spot a large circle on his back. Why his underbelly was a light-tanned color. He had some fluffy ears. That kind of sink down. And also he had a short tail. Nathan was happy about this. He's now one of them. He was overwhelmed with joy. 


“Hold on there buddy you and me this if you want stay stable. Without this special pack you will immediately deformed and all kinds of weird stuff can happen. As long as you equip this and have it on at time to time you will stay stable. You need to wear it for the next four or five days and then you can take it off by then your body should be used to doing your new form. I hope you like it is the best that I could come up with.”Jake said with a smile on his face. This is the first time to hit experience actually worked it. I mean I'll eat something like this. Jake was happy with the resort and he couldn't wait to go to the others. 


        Running around on the streets of the adventure Bay he managed to get back to the lookout he was very happy. When he got there first he encounter chase. Who was confused he had never seen him like this before. Chase did not know who he was. And was curious about him. But once Nathan begin to talk Chase was confused anymore. But then he kind of calmed down. After all he can detect the scent of Nathan directly on him. So he kind of think that Nathan is in there somewhere. 


“What the heck happened.? What do you do to yourself. How do you become a puppy.? I'm not going to ask oh I'm sorry. Jake. I did told you to go there. I didn't think he was actually going to do this. Well it's better than nothing. Now that you wanted us. I guess HQ you don't have anything else to say. I guess we can go on as planned. This would be nice. I think Zuma will make a great partner for you. But I don't know. It seems weird. But I guess we can deal with it. After all I got my partner already in mind. A shame though there's some pups will be left out. Of finding a partner to hang out with or to be together with for the rest of their life.”Chase seems a little bit concerned about some of the other puppies not to be able to have the same opportunity as they might be able to. 


“I sure in general that anyone in here will find someone. I mean think about it the ratio is quite equal now. Now that Gasket it's part of the team. I guess everyone got something for everyone.”Chase looked it away and give Nathan a very mean look.”she is more trouble than anything else. She is such a bad bad puppy. She does whatever she wants. Cause the most headaches around here. She don't know the first thing about what it means to be a team player. I will stay far away from that puppy as as far as your Paw can basically touch. I don't trust her no more than anyone else.”Chase said. As he looked it back at nathan.”won't you go sell yourself to Zuma I pretty sure you get a kick out of this.”




        So Nathan did he made his way over to Zuma room he pound on the door with his paw. It didn't take long for the door to open up. Zumba was right there he was halfway asleep. He usually take naps in between the time that he has when he's on his down time. He took one look at Nathan not knowing who he was and almost literally lost it.”who in the heck are you. You don't look like you're part of the team. What do you want. What someone need to be safe?!. It's funny what you're trying to do imitate Chase.?”clearly Zumba has no idea who is in front of him. Finally Nathan broke his silence. 


“It's me your buddy Nathan. I did it I'm a puppy now now we can be together forever and ever and ever. Just like what I said before. We can truly become one now. Think about it. It's exactly what you want it right.?”he said with great enthusiastic. But on the other hand Zumba was more confused than anything./


“Nathan buddy. What do you do to yourself why are you now a puppy. Oh boy this is going to get weird. I mean I'm happy for you and I'm happy that you want of us. But that's not the reason why I like you in the first place. Now you make everything more complicated. Now I have to get used to someone brand new. Man Nathan why you got to go do something like this.?”. Zuma was not quite impressed at the new form that Nathan has tooken on. And in fact it seems like he was kind of disappointed. Nathan felt kind of bad he did all of this for Zuma to only have him kind of slightly reject him. 


 “You said that our species was never going to be able to be one. So I became the same as you so we wouldn't have that issue. But you don't sound so happy about the whole entire thing.”Nathan said. 


        “No it's not that. It's just I like to you the way that you was. Now you got me all confused. It's like I have to completely adapt to something totally different. I mean no offense. You are cute yes more cuter than what you would normally would be. But if I want it beauty I wouldn't even be thinking about you. I like that you for who you was in the inside. Now you are something completely different. You're not going to be the same Nathan anymore. You are totally different Nathan now. I don't know how this is going to work out.”


Feeling very sad. Nathan watch as Zuma rejected him for now. And walk it away he had did it all of this work they only have Zuma not to be happy about the whole entire thing. He was wondering did he made it very terrible mistake. He really liked his Zumba but now everything is being pushed backwards. Nathan slowly walked away as he found the spot in the corner to just lay there for a while to think about what's going on. 


        At time went on he felt someone that you gently when you looked it up it was Zuma. He lay down beside Nathan looking at him. 


“You know maybe I am the one who's being a little bit harsh. I realize they're troubled that you went through to try to fit in. You've been working very hard to try to be one of us. Now you are and it just don't feel right. But at the same time I can get where you're coming from. I guess your love is a lot more stronger than what I imagine. I thought you were just playing around. I guess you're not. I guess what we said but they're at the cabinet stands.”he said nudging him gently with his wet nose. Nathan looked it with a smile. 




“I love you so much I wish that I can be with you forever. I wish that we can get married and go away leaving everything behind. I would love to have something like that happen. You know me and you leaving this behind going somewhere relaxing just the two of us whatever and ever.”Nathan said to him. 




Zumba looked it with a smile but later on he looked it back at him.”is not like that. We can still be together but I don't think I want to leave this place. This is my family this is all I know. Plus I am very dedicated and needed. Just like you. we will always be here and always be underneath hq. What doesn't mean that we can't have a close relationship. It just I don't see marriage as a issue or a thing that I want to explore right now. I mean yeah okay maybe somewhere down the road. Can you believe saying that. But not right now we're jumping too fast. We don't know we're not we really will work together. And when you say marriage things get really spicy. Then again do we have to be married to be close. I see you as my mate and I know you see me as a scene. We don't need to tie the knot for that right. I kind of know what you want. You've been very much hitting at it for quite a while.”


He said as you begin to smile at nathan. 


“We don't have to get married for that. We can easily go somewhere off to ourself. And do whatever we have to do to relieve ourselves. And get back to normal life. We don't have to tie it not there. That's what you really wanting to get married for. I mean come on. Or why do you feel the need to be married what you want me as you're on?”


He said as he looked at nathan. Nathan gave him a small nod. 


“What's wrong with that.? I think it would be a lot more simpler. Everyone would know that we are together. And then we wouldn't have to compete. Everyone with just accept us for who we are. I wouldn't have to compete with no one and I finally have someone that I love. And someone who loved me back. That's all I want and I think marriage is the way. That way people can know we are one and close to each other..”


Nathan said as he looked it down at his own paws. Zuma looked back away from him. As the heat of the fire that was burning in the fireplace can be felt. Sooner or later Nathan looked it back at zuma. Before Zumba gave him a lick on the nose. 


“You know what that means. Right. I don't think I ever kiss you before. I think I came close to it. But I think you deserved that one. I will give you more but not right now. You know it's getting late. We should be going to our rooms and relaxing. We're thinking this some other time. But like I said I'm always open. You know where they're finding me. If you are up for some fun.”Zuma said as he got up and began to walk off.
