Those with the sharpest ears could barely discern a mischievous laughter amongst the cacophony. Their questions, however, wouldn’t remain unanswered for too much longer. That initial sound was followed a few seconds later with a rhythmic, bassy and distant explosion. And then another, and another. Each explosion sounded louder than the last.
