I used a fringed yarn, but the end result is more \"weird hair\" and less \"gill filaments\" so probably not going to bother with it again, especially as it was a royal pain in the neck to do.\n\nStill love the colors, though.\n\nAlso, the slightly more accurate compound eyes on this one were hand-made, via coloring the background on paper and then using a PVA glue to both seal it and attach glass cabuchons.
