There's Em and En, but used in lieu,
Are hyphens—and in pairs of two!
Brackets broken, squarely shattered!
Semicolons slightly scattered!

So curse the verse and curse the fates—
(Are we releasing for the States?)
AP or Chicago styling?
Nod your head and keep on smiling!

Apostrophe catastrophe,
And speaks he does anastrophe,
Colon, slash and awkward drama,
You forgot the Oxford comma!

Like rabbits edits seem to breed!
Another book to never read!
Dusty stacks of total terrors:
Shelves alive with my missed errors!
