On The Farside Below skies unknown Two stargazing beasts prowling— We meet at sunset. New moon bashful like young cubs Caught laughing in a dark room. Drawn in, orbiting, Wanderers lost together, Spinning fast in place. Our candle burns in reverse; Wax poured into darkened skies. Like a telescope Your voice drowns out cosmic noise Drawing lines 'twixt stars: Moonlight illuminates all Paths ahead seem infinite. The stars are scattered When we become thunderclouds The heavens tremble And bright moon scurries away Showing only her farside.
