I was sure to draw the hamon line to my liking so it looks as legit as possible. It's not great but I think I did ok. Rudy's favorite show is Inuyasha, by the way. He also has no fucking clue what he's doing with that thing. (I'm pretty sure this pose is total bullshit and not anything you'd ever do in kendo)\n\nThings have been...pretty hard as of late. I made more friends during the last year or two than I have in the entire rest of my years in the fandom, many of which I adored dearly. Things were actually going well for a while. I was talking to so many people that I felt overwhelmed, when for years I was lucky to talk to *anyone* on a given day. Then reality sets in. People get to know me for a few weeks and then are completely disinterested without any catalyst or reason. It feels like... the silent competition that goes on when people are reorganizing their social lives and deciding who they have time for and who they don't... I'm never going to be picked over someone else. My self esteem has been obliterated. It's harder to reach out to people. I'm scared that I'm losing myself in the process. \n\nIt doesn't help that all I have is creative pursuits and I feel woefully inadequate at them compared to so many talented people around me. Can't get people to read my stuff. Views keep going down despite trying to improve... But you know. At the end of the day, all I can do is keep doing what I'm doing and hope to catch a break at some point. Sorry to vent so much. You guys make it that much brighter. Stay cool out there.
