I browsed sites like flickr, arkive, and wikimedia commons, and etc to find inspiration. I found shot of vulture pair caught in mating act, and when I saw picture for the first time I knew that i should draw it. Personally I think that I heve never seen any better picture of mating birds. Every technical issues (exposure, depth of field, etc.) of this photo are alright, but also I just love face expression of male. I can only imagine what he is feeling at the moment. Probably it is wild passion, driven by internal instincts, but I can be wrong, Im not an expert.... \n It was really big challlenge to draw this, but also great pleasure. I know that it is'nt ideal and that I have to practice more and more, but I hope that every avian, and especially bird of preys fan (like me) would be pleased.
