Obviously, the latter worked. I decided to make the hat from Z's first incarnation that thing that makes them who they are in every incarnation. It always showed up in past fursonas, anyway, because I love hats and so it might as well be apart of who is his in-universe as well because I can't imagine him any other way.\n\nThe hat's design is technically \"2nd generation\" because the original was pure blue from front to back.
