Even though it was very dry an hot where he lived too!\n\n\nHe was friendly.\nHe was nice.\nHe never tried being mean.\nAnd he was Autistic.\n\n\nAzmond didn't know that though. He just knew he couldn't seem to make friends. They thought he was weird.\n\n\nOther Kitties would throw the pebble into a pool of water.\nAzmond would watch the ripples it made.\n\n\nOther kitties an doggies could catch the ball very well.\nAzmond would drop the ball every time, even trying his best to catch it.\n\nWhen the little Kitten had continued to grow, he still had problems.\n\nThe others would look the teacher in the eye.\nAzmond would always look at the teacher's book.\n\n\nAzmond would play by himself in the sand happily.\nOthers would wonder why he wasn't playing with them.\n\nAzmond would trip over his own two feet playing Red Rover.\nThe other's would laugh as he left crying.\n\nOther doggies an kitties never liked Azmond it seemed.\nBut as Azmond grew older and taller, the little kitten learned.\n\n\nHe learned how to catch a ball better and didn't trip as much playing kick-ball with the others.\nBut he still wasn't chosen very often for kick-ball.\n\nWhen he came to class sometimes, he'd be wearing “armor” he made with his tee-shirt. He felt brave.\nThe others thought he was stupid…\n\nDuring class, he would fall asleep. But when he was asked a question, he would be able to answer quick.\nSome of them didn't like him for that, an other's thought he was smart.\n\n\nLittle Azmond grew and grew into a big kitty. \nHe could run now without tripping an could ride a bicycle without training wheels! But he still was a third wheel with others.\n\nGrowing braver and braver the older he got. The little kitty did something he never thought he'd do. He gave a little letter to a crush of his.\nSome of the other's thought it was great and were happy for him.\nThe rest didn't care at all.\n\n\nMoving, what little pals he had gotten disappeared.\nBut Azmond being the big kitty, had grown to try more things.\n\n\nWhen he went to school, he found a friend on his fifth day… he also found out after all this time. He was Autistic.\n\n\n\nGoing to the doctor, the old Doctor told him this:\n“You have Asperger's Syndrome Azmond. It's part of the group of issues called 'Autisim', and you've done very well.”\n\nLooking at the doctor, Azmond said only a few things. That he was glad that he knew what was going on, an why he may've thought of things differently\n\nAn finally: “Well… I can learn, I can adapt, so. I think it doesn't matter too much. Thank you doctor.”\n\n\nLeaving the doctor an going back home happily. Azmond grew and grew, and as he did. He learned, he adapted and he changed. He was autistic, and still is.
