Ryan's adventures chapter 1: a new begining and new friends



A brown furred riolu holding a bone that would normally be held by a cubone awakens to find himself in a strange lab seeing many scientists around him. As the riolu looks around he sees in many places in the lab have a red "R" placed around him.

One the scientists puts a black collar having red spikes and a similar red "R" on it around the confused riolu. "What should we name him?" one of the scientists asks, "maybe we should call him R	yan" said the scientist who put the collar around the riolu

"Ryan...." the riolu uttered his own name, the scientists smiled because they knew that not only have they created a sucessful hybrid pokemon with superior fighting abilities with an incredible inetellect but the riolu is also a very quick learner

"Yes that is your name now allow me to explain how things will work around here" the scientist said "if you obey our leader then you will be rearded greatly for your efforts"

"okay" Ryan said nodding as he followed the scientist who took him to Giovanni himself

Then Ryan and the scientist arrive in Giovanni's room Ryan bowed to giovanni showing his respect to him as the scientist had explained to him before entering the room. After the rules have been explained more thouroughly to Ryan he had started doing tasks assigned to him slowly rising up the ranks of the pokemon of team rocket without questioning the reason for the objective of his tasks, soon Ryan was assigned to be the leader of his own squad his older blood brother Spectra who was a lucario with black fur with blue flame colored tatoo-like markings on his black fur was his co-leader. The two siblings despite knowing their relationships were distant from one another however. The pokemon assigned on their team was: a male ariados who can spin incredibly tough webs being so tough than only great physical strength can manage to break them, a male snorlax with incredible physical strength and durability he was basically the muscle of the group, a female whismur who can create powerful sound waves in a certain frequency only her chosen target can hear, and a male banette who proved to be the strongest of the four members due to his ability to manipulate the bodies of his enemies but his abilities were only limited to only being able to control one body at a time but his incredible wits is more than enough to make up for that flaw. There was a rule that teams of six were supposed to have trainers and be in pokeballs however Ryan did not like the idea of being in a pokeball so he made the request to giovanni that they would have no trainer and giovanni agreed to this

One day the two brothers we're assigned to take out an entire village of lucarios and riolus. They went through with their mission but on the other hand spectra held back his attacks to just wound his kind far enough to just make them pass out, but Ryan did not hesitate mercilessly killing the pokemon whether they were fleeing or fighting back, young or old. Spectra then saw a white riolu running scared alongside a zorua and an eevee the trio of pokemon noticed him looking at them but instead of attacking the young pokemon spectra told them "go! run! you three arent safe here" the three pokemon although confused nodded in agreement and ran towards the forest meanwhile Ryan had cleared the area of lucarios and riolus when Spectra had told him that there may have been witnesses. Ryan looked at spectra "....your right dont worry i'll take care of this" Ryan created a wave of aura around himself washing the surrounding areas of the village in a strange aura that made all the pokemon under it pass out and forget any memories they had today, sure enough it made all the pokemon except for Ryan and Spectra forget what happened today, thus the three young pokemon spectra told to run passed out and had no memory of the event and then the two brothers headed back to the team rocket base.

Later Ryan was on break sitting atop the roof of the base, for the first time experiencing feelings as he was just treated as a figting machine, nontheless he felt guilty about what he had done today knowing that he had killed many of his own kind When Spectra walked up to the riolu-cubone hybrid and put his paw on his little brother's shoulder. Ryan looked at him "brother.......can i ask you something?" this being the first time they had an actual conversation "What is it Ryan?" Spectra asked feeling the guilt of Ryan through his aura "I felt like i've done something very wrong but i know it cant be true because i did what i was told" Ryan said looking up at his brother for answers, spectra then explained to him that the task they did earlier was wrong also telling him that he should leave team rocket because one of the pokemon there was responsible for killing their true parents. "Our parents? but the scientists told me we were abandoned by them" Spectra shook his head because when he was still a riolu he was still a normal colored one but then when they were out of they're den one day a powerful pokemon that was called genesect attacked his parents and kidnapped him and Ryan who was still in his pokemon egg. spectra explained that team rocket needed two powerful pokemon and they altered their own DNA to make them stronger, Ryan shocked with disbelief nodded "Okay spectra stay here and do all these wrong this if you want but im not going to do this anymore!" with that statement Ryan jumped off the building firing multiple aura spheres at the building as he fell, of course due to his increased strength he was able to land safely but unluckily Ryan landed near a squad of team rocket wartortles and they attacked Ryan with powerful water attacks thus severely injuring him, despite his weakened state he managed to defeat the wartortles and ran into a forest unknown to him that he was being pusued by his own former team mates: snorlax, ariados, whismur, and banette eventually they caught up to Ryan in a clearing. Under normal circumstances Ryan could easily overpower these four but after taking a large amount of damage from the wartortles from earlier and the fact that these four were surrounding him Ryan knew that he would be helpless against them and he was right he was easily knocked around apparently being played with by his former team mates before snorlax slammed the badly beaten pokemon into the middle of the clearing . The four pokemon surriounding Ryan were now preparing to fninish him off Snorlax charging a hyper beam, Whismur ready to blast a deafening screech, Ariados charging a signal beam attack, and banette readying a shadow ball. Ryan slowly stood up and looked around him knowing that he wouldnt be able to survive this next attack he closed his eyes and braced himself.

However as the four pokemon fired their attacks in a sudden flash snorlax's, ariado's, and banette's attacks were launched back at them while whismur got smashed into a tree. Slowly opening his eyes Ryan noticed that he was still alive and his team mates were crawling towards each other towards the exit of the clearing, Ryan tilted his head in confusion and as he turned around he sa what was making his former team mates running scared, he saw was a marowak with a double claw mark across his his skull going down with the middle of the scar being his right eye, Ryan gulped in fear looking up at the marowak but the marowak instead offered his paw up to him and helped him up, Ryan asked nervously "t-thank you, b-but w-why did you save me i didnt do anything good for you". The marowak let out a bit of a chuckle and looked at the riolu "listen kid, saving pokemon in need is what i do so you dont really have to thank me, but it would be unfortunate if those creeps attacked you again how about you come along with me i could help you to train and become even stronger......and before you ask kid i know that you are strong because i noticed how many bad hits you took and yet you were still able to get up" Ryan nodded weakly as he introduced himself to the marowak "well my name is Ryan as you can see im a riolu that's part cubone, if you dont mind me asking what is your name?" "Victor but you can call me vic its nice to meet you Ryan" Ryan smiled but his strength finally gave out and he passed out luckily the marowak catched him.

Ryan woke up his body still hurting but not as much as before, his attitude had changed though from silent and calm to shy and easily scared, when he looked around he saw that he was in a small house and from looking out the windows and from listening to the sounds he could tell that he was in a different forest that and the house was next to a river, Ryan smiled and relaxed listening to the sound of the water flowing, despite how much he hated water coming into contact with his body the sound of the water flowing was calming for him. The silence was broken by the door flying open and a cheerful raichu walked into his bedroom alongside Victor and to Ryan's surprise a mewtwo. Victor looked at Ryan who hid himself under the blanket next to him "so Vic what happened to this guy?" The raichu asked "not sure Ivan when i found him on my daily patrols through the forest being attacked by four pokemon, he was badly hurt too" The marowak told the raichu as Ryan stayed under the blanket shaking in fear, when Ivan the raichu tried to cheer up the scared riolu Ryan just hid behind Victor having grown a great amount of respect for him and started calling him master "master w-who are they?" victor looked at him "well if you were paying attention this raichu here is Ivan one of my two best friends and partners and Mewtwo over here is named Matthew, they are my partners and I am the leader of the rescue team that goes by the name of team Knock-Out" Victor finished " wait a second isnt this that riolu we've been told of that was causing so much havoc and deaths of pokemon?" Matthew stated, and with that Ryan started shivering in fear as the mewtwo glared at him "true he is the same riolu but you think he would still be the same if he was being attacked by his own comrades? if you wouldnt mind explaining this Ryan" Ivan's eyes widened in shock at vic's statement as he asked the riolu who all three of them knew that has been commiting many crimes, Ryan nodded as he explained that it was only on orders and that he didnt know it was wrong, Matthew and Ivan nodded in agreement.

As Victor tries to introduce Ryan to other members of his rescue team Ryan would simply hide behind his master's back this went on for a week and as this went on he wasnt also able to focus on his training, until Ryan was sitting alone on the branch of a tree when a normal riolu who was also a member of Ryan's team approched him and asked him his name, Ryan introduced himself to the riolu feeling more trusting of the riolu than the other pokemon. Soon Ryan and his new riolu friend soon became best friends, Victor noticed this and Ryan was also able to focus on his training and when it came to one on one sparring matches his best friend would always volunteer and in tag battles and two on two battle Ryan would pick the riolu who he trusts so much as his partner. 3 years later, Ryan became much stronger than he was before and he wanted to go search for his own purpose and he set out on a journey. along his journey he came upon a castle that was inhabited only by pokemon, but this castle had no king, queen, prince or princess the castle was more of a hotel and many different pokemon lived there. Ryan saw that this place could be a good start for him and his new life.

There were a few pokemon there that caught his interest, one of them was a black furred pikachu with red colored eyes and ear tips called a negachu who goes by the name of Sparky. Sparky was known around the castle to be the violent one and Ryan knew that if someone was that violent he knew that he would also be strong and he had many intense battles with Sparky in front of the castle as they would cause too much damage if they did it inside the castle's arena, Sparky also was known to be evil and despite his differences with Ryan who was good they got along surprisingly well. Another one who Ryan was close friends with was a dark furred female eevee named Black, Black was a good friend to Ryan often tending to his wounds after his battles with Sparky which Ryan always lost. And lastly there was another pokemon there who had caugh Ryan's interest, her name was Ginger and she was a pikachu, Ginger would always watch Ryan train outside the castle admiring the kind riolu training to be strong. One day Ryan decided to take a little trip to train and hunt for treasure and walked towards a mountain, Ginger quietly followed trying not to let herself be known to the riolu. Ryan encountered three Aggrons at the peak but due to his type advantage and his special strength he easily beat the three larger pokemon and Ginger as it blushing as she said to herself so quietly "so strong..." she blushed as she had watched and followed Ryan as he dashed down the mountain at an incredible speed, Ginger followed as closely as she could admiring Ryan's speed as she thought to herself "so fast..." she blushed again but saw a boulder falling down towards Ryan, she tried to get to him but got stunned as Ryan jumped up and used an iron tail attack ont he boulder splitting it in half. Ginger stared in awe at what Ryan had just done Ryan kept running until he came upon a waterfall and jumped straight through it Ginger got worries and jumped in tumbling into a cave and saw Ryan shaking the water off his fur " i will never get used to getting wet" Ryan walked and encountered many boulders in his path and he easily shattered them and walked through the cave as Ginger followed until she saw Ryan stop in a large area of the cave where there were many gems wedged to the ground. "go on take some" Ginger was surprised that Ryan nkew she was there but came out of hiding and walked to his side and picked up a ruby on the ground, however Ryan looked on and his eyes were glued to a giant gem near the end of the room but he kept a calm look on his face as he looked at it with his arms crossed wondering how to get the gem. He tried to get it free with many failed attempts but even with Ginger's help he couldnt get the gem free soon they they felt the ground start to shake somewhat heavily then suddenly swampert bursted out from under the ground, this swampert seemed to be the guardian as Ryan gulped nervously looking at the water type because he knew from a lot of personal experiences that both he and Ginger had a disadvantage against him. Ginger and Ryan fought the swampert to defend themselves and somehow they won but Ryan had taken more injuries than Ginger because he blocked the attacks swampert threw at her using himself. " come on lets just go" Ryan said to Ginger "but what about the gem?" Ryan shook his head "im not sure how long that swampert will stay fainted and i cant let a flower as beautiful as you to get hurt" Ginger blushed wildly at that as they went out of the waterfall cave and walked back to the castle "ummm Ryan you wouldnt mind if we take the long way back would you?" Ryan held her paw which made her blush a deep red again and said "sure" Ginger smiled as they walked back to the castle slowly with Ryan holding her paw as they walked back hoping to spend more time with him back at the castle....
