At first Zen couldn’t sit still. He was too excited about seeing the new house. After a few hours into the trip however Zen got bored. With nothing to do but talk or listen to the radio Zen found himself dozing off. Several times he was startled awake by the truck hitting a big bump in the road. And switching to ride with Ruby was no better. In the truck Zen could talk and look at Chaotic’s face as he talked. With Ruby he had to talk to the back of her head. The drive seemed to take forever to the impatient pup. \n\n\tAt last the moment Zen was waiting for arrived. They had reached Flare City. Unlike where they had come from this city had huge buildings. From what Zen could see, the city looked cramped. So many people in such a limited area. To Zen’s surprise they didn’t head for the center of the city. With a quick turn they headed toward a wooded area. The houses in this area were quite large. They were also much more spaced out.\n\n\tAfter about 25 minutes of driving down what seemed like every street they stopped in front of one of the houses. This house was far bigger than the one they had left. It was a 2 story brick building with a stone walkway leading from the driveway to the front door. There was also a 2 stall garage. Chaotic hopped out of the truck. He stretched as Ruby approached. Ruby’s eyes were practically falling out of her head. What the hells this? Didn’t you go a little overboard? Chaotic shrugged. I like big houses. It’s only got 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Let’s have a look around. There should be a crew coming to help unload the truck. Ruby gasped. 6 bedrooms… what the hell are we going to do with all that space? Chaotic looked her in the eyes. Extra rooms can be used for many things. Office space, guest rooms or even a work out area.\n\n\tRuby sighed. Alright just show us around already. Zen had finally come out of the truck. He ran around to where Chaotic and Ruby were standing. Is this where we are going to live? Chaotic nodded. Yep let’s go inside and have a look around. Zen turned without a word and ran to the front door. He practically bounced as he waited for Chaotic and Ruby to get to the door. Chaotic chuckled. No need to be in such a hurry. The house isn’t going anywhere. \n\n\tOnce the door was open, Zen’s mouth hung open. He didn’t think it was possible. The house looked bigger on the inside. There was an old style staircase that lead to the upper floor. The wood rail was smooth and well kept. Chaotic walked in a little way and started a little tour of the house. He had seen on the website what was on each floor. Let’s go upstairs first. There are 2 staircases, one in the front of the house and a smaller one in the back. As they reached the top of the stairs Chaotic continued the tour. There are 3 bedrooms up here and 1 master bath. There is another master bath on the main floor. I think they intended to rent out half the house at one point but never did. The other 2 bathrooms just have showers and no bathtub. We walked by one of them as we entered the house. \n\n\tAs they made their way through the house it was clear that everything about this house was big. The rooms, kitchen, bathrooms, even the closets were huge. Once the upstairs tour was done they headed back to the front door. If you were entering the house the stares were to the right of the door and a bathroom was to the left. Going straight leads to the living room. Most of the rooms on the main floor were on the opposite side of the house from the stairways. It was quickly decided that the upstairs would be used for guest rooms. Zen chose a room at the end of the hall from the master bedroom on the main floor. This room was closer to the front of the house. This also put the pup closer to the bathroom so he wouldn’t have to walk through the master bedroom to get to the bathroom. \n\n\tOnce the tour was finished there was a knock on the door. The moving crew had arrived. The truck was quickly unloaded and everything was placed in the house. With everything in the house and in the rooms they belonged in, Chaotic paid the crew and thanked them. The crew said their goodbyes and left taking the truck with them. Chaotic flopped down on the couch with a huff. So much unpacking to do. I guess the kitchen would be the best place to start. Zen had started unpacking his cloths. He had everything laid out on his bed. Ruby had set her sights on the master bedroom. She wanted to be able to go right to sleep after dinner. \n\n\tTime seemed to fly as Zen got his room situated. The sun had already set. Chaotic called from the kitchen, WHAT SHOULD WE HAVE FOR DINNER? Zen stopped what he was doing and looked around his room. It was still a mess of boxes but he would be able to sleep in his bed. To think not that long ago he had nothing but the cloths he was wearing. Now he had a home. Zen shook his head and made his way to the kitchen. To his surprise it seemed that most of the kitchen supplies were put away. Ruby was standing at the counter. She turned to Zen. How goes the battle with the boxes? Zen tilted his head. Battle? What battle? Ruby chuckled. That one went right over your head. How are you doing with your room? Zen paused for a moment. I guess I’m doing okay. There are some things I can’t reach to put away or hang. Well a lot of things actually. I’m just too short to reach the hangers in the closet. Chaotic chuckled. We will just have to lower them. It won’t be hard. I’ll just have to find my tools… wherever they are. But we can deal with that later. We really don’t have anything prepped for dinner tonight. Should we order out? I think there are a few places that deliver around here. \n\n\tRuby shrugged. Food is food. I’m not picky. Zen nodded. I’m up for anything. Chaotic took out his phone to look up what their options were. Let’s see… we have 3 choices. Pizza, chicken, and Chinese. Ruby scratched her chin. Chinese food does sound good… but I don’t know if it would agree with all our stomachs. I’d say the safest bet would be chicken for now. We should go out for Chinese tomorrow. Chaotic turned to Zen. What are your thoughts? Zen shrugged. I’ll eat anything but fish. Chaotic chuckled. Alright chicken it is. \n\n\tWith dinner decided Chaotic called in an order of chicken and potato wedges. Since he knew Zen’s apatite was larger than most, Chaotic ordered more than he thought they would be able to eat. It would take about 25 min for the food to arrive. Chaotic went into the master bedroom to see how things were going. For the most part Ruby had been sorting boxes. She put her stuff on one side of the room and Chaotic’s stuff on the other. She had also made the bed. Chaotic shrugged. I guess we will have to decide how to spit things up in here. Ruby slugged him in the shoulder. What did you expect me to put all your stuff away? Chaotic grinned. Not at all. I thought you would have put all your stuff where you wanted. Then leave me to whatever was left. Ruby laughed. Don’t think I wasn’t tempted. I thought it would be good to organize so we could find stuff though. Let’s go check on Zen. I think he went back to his room.\n\n\tWith a short walk down the hall Chaotic and Ruby reached Zen’s room. They peeked in the door. All the boxes were place on one side of the room. Zen’s bed was made and his cloths were put in his dresser. Zen was looking through one of the boxes. It had miscellaneous wrote on the side. Zen looked at the duo standing at the door. What is all this stuff? Chaotic walked over and looked in the box. There were pictures and a bunch of nick-knacks in the box. Chaotic scratched his chin. How did this box get mixed with your stuff? Oh well. These are pictures of my family. I had them in one of the closets. Must have been in your closet. Chaotic pulled out a picture. He sat on the floor next to Zen. This picture is of my mother and father. Zen looked at the picture. Wow! Their fur is just as red as yours. The only difference is that your mom has blond hair. Chaotic chuckled. That’s where I got the blond in my hair from. They were to most important people in my life. The day I heard that their plane went down… my life kind of shattered. But enough about sad stuff. The food should be here soon. \n\n\tWith that said Chaotic put the picture back in the box. He then took the box and brought it to the master bedroom. As he returned form the master bedroom the doorbell rang. He answered the door paid for the food and made his way back to the dining area. There was just a center island separating the dining area from the kitchen. Zen and Ruby made their way to the table smelling the food. When Ruby saw the 3 large bags of food she staggered. HOLY CRAP HOW MUCH DO YOU THING WE CAN EAT? Chaotic shrugged. I know one of us here that can eat his weight in pancakes. Ruby looked at Zen. So we have a little bottomless pit on our hands huh? Zen looked up and grinned. His stomach growled loudly. Ruby chuckled. We’ll see I guess.\n\n\tEveryone sat down and dished up. Once again Zen shocked the adults with how much he could eat. In one sitting he had eaten one of the bags of chicken and half the potato wedges. Chaotic looked over to Ruby grinning. What do you think? Did I get too much food? Ruby shook her head. I guess not. I’ve never seen someone eat that much. And we know he doesn’t have worms or anything. I just don’t see where he’s putting it all. Zen finished that last of the food on his plate and licked his lips. That was awesome. I like chicken. Those potato thingies were good too. Both Chaotic and Ruby burst out laughing. Zen looked at them tilting his head. What’s so funny? Ruby stopped laughing for a moment. You are ya little goof ball. How can you eat that much and not pop. Zen stood and walked over to Ruby. What do you mean? My tummy isn’t even sticking out all that far. Ruby looked at Zen and put her hand on his stomach. You’re right I would expect this to be the size of a melon with the amount you just ate. Zen shrugged pancakes are more filling I think. Chaotic laughed. Yes that is true. You couldn’t even move after you ate all them pancakes could you.\n\n\tZen shrugged. It kind of hurt to move I guess. Chicken isn’t bad though. I feel fine. Are we taking a bath tonight? Chaotic scratched his chin. I guess we should. The bath tubs are even bigger in this house though. Zen jumped up and down. Let’s all take a bath together! Ruby looked at Chaotic. Think you can handle being with a naked girl? Chaotic raised an eyebrow. I think I’ll manage. Besides I’ve already seen you naked a few times. Ruby laughed. I guess you’re right. But it’s a little different when you’re up close and personal right? Chaotic chuckled scratching the back of his head. I guess we will just have to wait and see. \n\n\tWhile Ruby and Chaotic prepared the tub, Zen ran to his room to get some cloths to sleep in. He however took his clothes off in his room before heading to the master bathroom. He stood in the doorway naked and his tail waged. Chaotic looked at Zen and laughed. Well looks like someone is eager to take a bath. Ruby looked at Chaotic. I think we are a little over dressed for bath time. Chaotic chuckled. I guess so. With that said Ruby and Chaotic got undressed. Once naked they looked at each other again and blushed. Zen walked between the two adults and looked up at them. Is something wrong? They both shook their heads before stepping into the warm water. Once they had both feet in the water the helped Zen climb in. this tub had seats in all 4 corners. It was much deeper than the tub Chaotic had at the other house. Zen would have to stay on one of the seats if he wanted to keep his head above water while sitting. \n\n\tRuby quickly got started cleaning Zen’s fur. To her surprise Chaotic started cleaning her back as she cleaned Zen’s. Once Zen and Ruby were clean they both turned their attention to Chaotic. Zen was unable to do too much since he pretty much had to swim or hold onto someone to stay above water. Ruby however had no problem scrubbing Chaotic’s back. Zen sat in his corner of the tub with a huff. It’s not fair. I can’t reach. This tub is too big. Chaotic chuckled. It’s alright. We can do the cleaning. You just relax. Chaotic looked at Ruby. Think we should try out the bubbles? Ruby grinned. Think our little pup can handle that? Zen tilted his head. What are you talking about? Without another word Chaotic picked up a small remote and pressed a few buttons. There was the sound of something starting up. Zen jumped feeling vibrations in the water. When a jet of water hit him in the back he nearly jumped clear out of the tub. At first Chaotic and Ruby laughed, that is until they saw the look on Zen’s face. \n\n\tZen had a look of panic on his face. He started trying to climb out of the tub but kept slipping. Chaotic quickly shut off the jets and Ruby rushed to Zen’s side. It’s okay Zen. This tub has jets in it that are to help you relax. Zen continued to try to climb out of the tub with little success. His eyes began tearing up. Chaotic quickly stood and picked Zen up placing him outside the tub. It was then that Ruby saw claw marks on the wall of the tub. Once his feet touched the ground Zen tried to run. Chaotic however was still holding Zen. Chaotic picked Zen up a little and started to climb out of the tub. When Zen was picked up again he started kicking and screaming. One of the kicks hit the side of the tub. A large crack formed in the tub where Zen’s foot hit. \n\n\tChaotic hopped out of the tub and walked to the middle of the room turning Zen to face him. By now Zen was shaking. His eyes were unfocused as if he was somewhere else. Chaotic kneeled and Zen was put down. You’re okay Zen. Come on back to us. No one is going to hurt you. Zen’s eyes slowly came back into focus. He looked around the room. W-what happened? Chaotic pulled Zen into a hug. We just learned something about you. Surprises are bad. From now on we will let you know before we turn something like that on. Zen looked over at the tub. The large crack in the outside made him worry. I did that? Chaotic shrugged. So you cracked the tub. No big deal. I know what to do in the future if this happens again. Ruby looked over the side of the tub eyes wide. How the hell did such a little foot make a crack that big? Shaking her head she looked at Zen. Hey look at the bright side kiddo. At least you didn’t kick all the way through the side of the tub. You only broke the metal surrounding the tub.\n\n\tZen started crying. I’m sorry. I don’t know what happened. I didn’t mean to break anything. Chaotic pulled Zen into another hug. It’s not your fault. There are things that we will have to work out. This is one of them. I figured something like this might happen at some point. What you went through, I have no doubt that you will have trouble adjusting. The only thing we can do is take this one step at a time. Don’t think a couple of things getting broken will scare me off. Ruby laughed. You aren’t getting rid of me that easy either. Now let’s get dried off and ready for bed. Ruby pulled the plug in the tub before hopping out. Once everyone had toweled off they headed to the bedroom. Zen however kept walking and headed to his bedroom. Before he left the master bedroom he turned to Chaotic and Ruby. Good night. Thanks for the bath. Sorry about the tub. Chaotic and Ruby both walked over and gave Zen a hug. Don’t worry about the tub. It can be fixed. If you can’t sleep you are more than welcome to sleep in here.\n\n\tZen shook his head. What’s the point of choosing a room if I’m not going to use it? Chaotic chuckled. Alright, if you need anything you know we’re here for you. Ruby nodded. That’s right if you can’t sleep by yourself it’s okay. I think I slept with my parents till I was 8 or 9. Chaotic looked at Ruby raising an eyebrow. Did you have lots of nightmares? Ruby laughed. No I just liked cuddling. She looked at Chaotic. And I still like cuddling. Chaotic shrugged. I can’t say I much myself. I look forward to a good cuddle every now and then. Zen giggled before turning to exit the room. Everyone said their goodnights and Zen laid down in his bed. He felt exhausted. All the excitement just before bed really took it out of him. In seconds he found his eyes too heavy to keep open. Before he knew it he was fast asleep.\n\n\tIn the master bedroom Chaotic and Ruby cuddled close as they talked. Do you think we can handle this? Chaotic looked at Ruby. I think with the two of us we will do fine. Ruby shook her head. I’ve never seen a child with that much strength. Chaotic chuckled. You should have seen me when I was his age. I was practicing enhancing magic a lot then. Being a master in enhancing magic now, I can say for sure that we got lucky he didn’t use any magic with that kick. Ruby’s mouth dropped open. You’re telling me he did that without magic? Chaotic shrugged. I think with Zen there is always some sort of magic flowing through him. That’s why he is so strong. He probably doesn’t even know his own strength. We will have to be careful if he panic’s like that again. I think I could take a hit or two from him… but you don’t know enhancing magic. It could be dangerous to get close to him. Ruby sighed. Ya I kinda figured. I may have to start learning more than just sensory magic. Chaotic pulled Ruby close. It wouldn’t hurt to know more magic. I’m just glad you’re here. I don’t know how single parents do it. Ruby chuckled. Well normally they don’t have a kid that can bring down the house literally. Chaotic sighed. I just hope we can find a psychiatrist that is willing to help. We will need to find one with a background in magic at least. And then there is Black. She may be a big help later. Zen trusts her, and I think she really wants to help him. Ruby looked at the clock. We better get some sleep or we won’t have any energy to keep up with Zen. Chaotic closed his eyes. Ruby slugged him in the shoulder. What did you expect me to put all your stuff away? Chaotic grinned. Not at all. I thought you would have put all your stuff where you wanted. Then leave me to whatever was left. Ruby laughed. Don’t think I wasn’t tempted. I thought it would be good to organize so we could find stuff though. Let’s go check on Zen. I think he went back to his room.

\tWith a short walk down the hall Chaotic and Ruby reached Zen’s room. They peeked in the door. All the boxes were place on one side of the room. Zen’s bed was made and his cloths were put in his dresser. Zen was looking through one of the boxes. It had miscellaneous wrote on the side. Zen looked at the duo standing at the door. What is all this stuff? Chaotic walked over and looked in the box. There were pictures and a bunch of nick-knacks in the box. Chaotic scratched his chin. How did this box get mixed with your stuff? Oh well. These are pictures of my family. I had them in one of the closets. Must have been in your closet. Chaotic pulled out a picture. He sat on the floor next to Zen. This picture is of my mother and father. Zen looked at the picture. Wow! Their fur is just as red as yours. The only difference is that your mom has blond hair. Chaotic chuckled. That’s where I got the blond in my hair from. They were to most important people in my life. The day I heard that their plane went down… my life kind of shattered. But enough about sad stuff. The food should be here soon.

\tWith that said Chaotic put the picture back in the box. He then took the box and brought it to the master bedroom. As he returned form the master bedroom the doorbell rang. He answered the door paid for the food and made his way back to the dining area. There was just a center island separating the dining area from the kitchen. Zen and Ruby made their way to the table smelling the food. When Ruby saw the 3 large bags of food she staggered. HOLY CRAP HOW MUCH DO YOU THING WE CAN EAT? Chaotic shrugged. I know one of us here that can eat his weight in pancakes. Ruby looked at Zen. So we have a little bottomless pit on our hands huh? Zen looked up and grinned. His stomach growled loudly. Ruby chuckled. We’ll see I guess.

\tEveryone sat down and dished up. Once again Zen shocked the adults with how much he could eat. In one sitting he had eaten one of the bags of chicken and half the potato wedges. Chaotic looked over to Ruby grinning. What do you think? Did I get too much food? Ruby shook her head. I guess not. I’ve never seen someone eat that much. And we know he doesn’t have worms or anything. I just don’t see where he’s putting it all. Zen finished that last of the food on his plate and licked his lips. That was awesome. I like chicken. Those potato thingies were good too. Both Chaotic and Ruby burst out laughing. Zen looked at them tilting his head. What’s so funny? Ruby stopped laughing for a moment. You are ya little goof ball. How can you eat that much and not pop. Zen stood and walked over to Ruby. What do you mean? My tummy isn’t even sticking out all that far. Ruby looked at Zen and put her hand on his stomach. You’re right I would expect this to be the size of a melon with the amount you just ate. Zen shrugged pancakes are more filling I think. Chaotic laughed. Yes that is true. You couldn’t even move after you ate all them pancakes could you.

\tZen shrugged. It kind of hurt to move I guess. Chicken isn’t bad though. I feel fine. Are we taking a bath tonight? Chaotic scratched his chin. I guess we should. The bath tubs are even bigger in this house though. Zen jumped up and down. Let’s all take a bath together! Ruby looked at Chaotic. Think you can handle being with a naked girl? Chaotic raised an eyebrow. I think I’ll manage. Besides I’ve already seen you naked a few times. Ruby laughed. I guess you’re right. But it’s a little different when you’re up close and personal right? Chaotic chuckled scratching the back of his head. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

\tWhile Ruby and Chaotic prepared the tub, Zen ran to his room to get some cloths to sleep in. He however took his clothes off in his room before heading to the master bathroom. He stood in the doorway naked and his tail waged. Chaotic looked at Zen and laughed. Well looks like someone is eager to take a bath. Ruby looked at Chaotic. I think we are a little over dressed for bath time. Chaotic chuckled. I guess so. With that said Ruby and Chaotic got undressed. Once naked they looked at each other again and blushed. Zen walked between the two adults and looked up at them. Is something wrong? They both shook their heads before stepping into the warm water. Once they had both feet in the water the helped Zen climb in. this tub had seats in all 4 corners. It was much deeper than the tub Chaotic had at the other house. Zen would have to stay on one of the seats if he wanted to keep his head above water while sitting.

\tRuby quickly got started cleaning Zen’s fur. To her surprise Chaotic started cleaning her back as she cleaned Zen’s. Once Zen and Ruby were clean they both turned their attention to Chaotic. Zen was unable to do too much since he pretty much had to swim or hold onto someone to stay above water. Ruby however had no problem scrubbing Chaotic’s back. Zen sat in his corner of the tub with a huff. It’s not fair. I can’t reach. This tub is too big. Chaotic chuckled. It’s alright. We can do the cleaning. You just relax. Chaotic looked at Ruby. Think we should try out the bubbles? Ruby grinned. Think our little pup can handle that? Zen tilted his head. What are you talking about? Without another word Chaotic picked up a small remote and pressed a few buttons. There was the sound of something starting up. Zen jumped feeling vibrations in the water. When a jet of water hit him in the back he nearly jumped clear out of the tub. At first Chaotic and Ruby laughed, that is until they saw the look on Zen’s face.

\tZen had a look of panic on his face. He started trying to climb out of the tub but kept slipping. Chaotic quickly shut off the jets and Ruby rushed to Zen’s side. It’s okay Zen. This tub has jets in it that are to help you relax. Zen continued to try to climb out of the tub with little success. His eyes began tearing up. Chaotic quickly stood and picked Zen up placing him outside the tub. It was then that Ruby saw claw marks on the wall of the tub. Once his feet touched the ground Zen tried to run. Chaotic however was still holding Zen. Chaotic picked Zen up a little and started to climb out of the tub. When Zen was picked up again he started kicking and screaming. One of the kicks hit the side of the tub. A large crack formed in the tub where Zen’s foot hit.

\tChaotic hopped out of the tub and walked to the middle of the room turning Zen to face him. By now Zen was shaking. His eyes were unfocused as if he was somewhere else. Chaotic kneeled and Zen was put down. You’re okay Zen. Come on back to us. No one is going to hurt you. Zen’s eyes slowly came back into focus. He looked around the room. W-what happened? Chaotic pulled Zen into a hug. We just learned something about you. Surprises are bad. From now on we will let you know before we turn something like that on. Zen looked over at the tub. The large crack in the outside made him worry. I did that? Chaotic shrugged. So you cracked the tub. No big deal. I know what to do in the future if this happens again. Ruby looked over the side of the tub eyes wide. How the hell did such a little foot make a crack that big? Shaking her head she looked at Zen. Hey look at the bright side kiddo. At least you didn’t kick all the way through the side of the tub. You only broke the metal surrounding the tub.

\tZen started crying. I’m sorry. I don’t know what happened. I didn’t mean to break anything. Chaotic pulled Zen into another hug. It’s not your fault. There are things that we will have to work out. This is one of them. I figured something like this might happen at some point. What you went through, I have no doubt that you will have trouble adjusting. The only thing we can do is take this one step at a time. Don’t think a couple of things getting broken will scare me off. Ruby laughed. You aren’t getting rid of me that easy either. Now let’s get dried off and ready for bed. Ruby pulled the plug in the tub before hopping out. Once everyone had toweled off they headed to the bedroom. Zen however kept walking and headed to his bedroom. Before he left the master bedroom he turned to Chaotic and Ruby. Good night. Thanks for the bath. Sorry about the tub. Chaotic and Ruby both walked over and gave Zen a hug. Don’t worry about the tub. It can be fixed. If you can’t sleep you are more than welcome to sleep in here.

\tZen shook his head. What’s the point of choosing a room if I’m not going to use it? Chaotic chuckled. Alright, if you need anything you know we’re here for you. Ruby nodded. That’s right if you can’t sleep by yourself it’s okay. I think I slept with my parents till I was 8 or 9. Chaotic looked at Ruby raising an eyebrow. Did you have lots of nightmares? Ruby laughed. No I just liked cuddling. She looked at Chaotic. And I still like cuddling. Chaotic shrugged. I can’t say I much myself. I look forward to a good cuddle every now and then. Zen giggled before turning to exit the room. Everyone said their goodnights and Zen laid down in his bed. He felt exhausted. All the excitement just before bed really took it out of him. In seconds he found his eyes too heavy to keep open. Before he knew it he was fast asleep.

\tIn the master bedroom Chaotic and Ruby cuddled close as they talked. Do you think we can handle this? Chaotic looked at Ruby. I think with the two of us we will do fine. Ruby shook her head. I’ve never seen a child with that much strength. Chaotic chuckled. You should have seen me when I was his age. I was practicing enhancing magic a lot then. Being a master in enhancing magic now, I can say for sure that we got lucky he didn’t use any magic with that kick. Ruby’s mouth dropped open. You’re telling me he did that without magic? Chaotic shrugged. I think with Zen there is always some sort of magic flowing through him. That’s why he is so strong. He probably doesn’t even know his own strength. We will have to be careful if he panic’s like that again. I think I could take a hit or two from him… but you don’t know enhancing magic. It could be dangerous to get close to him. Ruby sighed. Ya I kinda figured. I may have to start learning more than just sensory magic. Chaotic pulled Ruby close. It wouldn’t hurt to know more magic. I’m just glad you’re here. I don’t know how single parents do it. Ruby chuckled. Well normally they don’t have a kid that can bring down the house literally. Chaotic sighed. I just hope we can find a psychiatrist that is willing to help. We will need to find one with a background in magic at least. And then there is Black. She may be a big help later. Zen trusts her, and I think she really wants to help him. Ruby looked at the clock. We better get some sleep or we won’t have any energy to keep up with Zen. Chaotic closed his eyes. You’re right let’s get to sleep. We can talk more in the morning.

\tWith that said Ruby and Chaotic fell asleep. Zen stayed sound asleep through most of the night. The bad dreams seemed to stay away, for now at least. There was a long road ahead of them. Preparing for school and finding help for Zen’s needs were at the top of Chaotic and Ruby’s to do lists. There was also Zen’s strength. He would need to find a way to control himself better or risk hurting someone. Who knows, there may be someone in Flare City up for the task of helping.
