All characters are mine", "writing": "Purple Flames\n\nVersion B\n\nEpisode 1\n\nIt was a nice and sunny day, not too many clouds were hovering over the campus of the Shikuyu University. This entire city of Shikuyu was more advanced than any other location on the planet of Neo-Mobius. A legendary city, and capital. The campus was busy, many students of many different forms were wandering the area, moving from one class to another, some of them in and out of other buildings as well. At one building in particular, the double doors leading inside opened up as a number of students were leaving. Behind the body of students, followed a tall anthropomorphic German Shepherd lady, stopping when at the edge of the walkway leading to those doors.\n\nThis German Shepherd lady was tall, had long blonde hair and a set of brown eyes that watched as the students were off to the rest of their day. She had a rather curvy form, large breasts, and a slightly muscular figure. Her features show that she was not young, but rather matured and in her forties. This German Shepherd, dressed in a business outfit that consisted of the colors black and red, as well as a pair of red-framed glasses. This was Trisha, one of the teachers of the university.\n\nShe reached up and used her index finger to push her glasses up on her muzzle. ``Well, there goes another day, I suppose,'' she said, her voice deep and soothing.\n\nAs she watched the students leave, there was one particular student, an anthropomorphic purple and white fox, that was also leaving the building. This student was quite young-looking, her body seeming to be that of a very young lady. She stood just under four feet, had long black hair, and a pair of deep purple eyes. Her hair faded into a bright purple color the further down the strands you looked, with two different shades. This girl, Aurora, a was wearing a white T-shirt, a pair of black shorts, and a pair of black boots that were decorated with a bright purple trim along the bottom. She was also walking out with a messenger bag strapped around her body.\n\nAurora stopped when she got beside Trisha, leaning forward and placing her hands on her knees, huffing a puffing, as if trying to catch her breath. When she managed to get her breath back, she turned her attention to Trisha, looking up at her.\n\n``Hey, miss Trisha, how did I do?'' Aurora asked.\n\nTrisha looked at Aurora with her eyes, then smiled, speaking in her usual calm and soothing tone. ``You did a good job today, Aurora. You're learning about history quickly. However, you may want to practice speaking in front of a class more, you seemed rather nervous.''\n\n``Well,'' said Aurora, ``I just have a hard time with doing that.''\n\n``I'm sure it is something you cannot help,'' said Trisha, her arms crossed and her eyes closed as she spoke, ``I know that I was in a similar position as you. However, I was able to get myself to be in front of others through practice. And here I am, a teachers, many, many years after the past. I completely understand if you are unable to change yourself, I just want to try and help you.''\n\nAurora smiles, saying, ``It's definitely nice of you to understand. I'll try harder next time to get over this. I've always had issues because of how my elementary school days were. Kids didn't like me.''\n\n``Ah,'' Trisha said, ``You are older now, and so is everyone around you. Tell you what, if anyone gives you a hard time, bring them to me. I know you're my student, but at the same time, you're a friend to me, and I will set matters straight if they give you grief.''\n\nAurora looked very happy to hear that. ``Thank you so much, Miss Trisha.''\n\n``Oh, I was talking with Jeddah a bit before class,'' Trisha said, going back to her thinking pose, ``He says you have pretty much set up a mission for yourself. He says that you are really determined to get this mission done and over with, but he didn't tell me what was going on.''\n\n``Oh, it's nothing too far out of the ordinary,'' said Aurora, her hand up and showing off a bit of sass, ``I'm quite good at getting things done, and this is not going to be any different. I have pretty much been keeping to myself a bit too much. I've been around or twenty-nine years, it's time I conquer my fears, and finally do what I need to do.''\n\n``Conquer your fears, huh?'' Trisha said with a smirk, ``are you actually going to go somewhere, or do something for the forces?''\n\n``No,'' replied Aurora, ``I'm actually going to do something much more scary, much more frightening than my usual missions.''\n\nTrisha thought for a second, and then returned her attention to Aurora, saying, ``What could it be, then? I'm almost certain your patrols of the mines are pretty much the most frightening thing I've seen you do. What could be scarier than that kind of mission?''\n\n``I have had a crush on a classmate in one of my classes,'' Aurora said, looking very determined, ``I'm going to ask him out. Jeddah told me that it would probably help me with talking to other people, even if he says `no'.''\n\n``That is daring,'' Trisha said with a small, quiet chuckle, ``It's certainly something challenging.''\n\nAurora nodded, responding with, ``When I get the chance, I'll try talking to him. Maybe I can do this, even in the first shot.''\n\n``Just be warned,'' Trisha said with a slightly more serious tone, ``he may not look at you and think you're twenty-nine years old. Not a lot of people out there understand what a Phoenix Blood is. Yeah, you can get some pretty nice powers as a side effect, but I'm sure you know there's more to it than just that.''\n\n``Yeah,'' said Aurora, her face going into a more concerned expression, ``I remember that Jeddah said my awakening did that thing where it locks my physical form. Oh well, still going to try.''\n\n``Don't be surprised if you don't do it right the first time, Aurora,'' Trisha said, her tone returning to that of a friendly one, ``You still have the rest of your days to find the right guy. I'm sure there will be someone out there that will accept you.''\n\nAurora nodded and adjusted the strap to her messenger bag. ``I better get to the cafeteria. I heard they're serving hot dogs again, and those run out real quick if I don't get there in time.''\n\n``True,'' Trisha responded, ``I won't keep you here. Just remember to be confident in your abilities. Sometimes, that confidence is what hooks a man in, and brings him right to you.''\n\nAurora nodded, saying, ``Thank you, Miss Trisha, Have a nice day.'' She waved her hand goodbye, and then ran off to get to the campus cafeteria.\n\nTrisha waved back as she watched Aurora go.\n\nAfter a moment, Aurora found herself at the doors leading into the cafeteria. Once she entered, she looked around the room, trying to get a good idea on how things are going there. After her little scan, she made her way over to the counter and peeked over it, trying to get a good idea on what's available. After another moment, she got the attention of the serving person that was standing on the other side.\n\n``Oh, hey, Aurora,'' Said the server with a hint of surprise in his tone, ``How's it going?''\n\n``Oh, you know,'' replied Aurora, ``The usual classes and stuff. Do you have any more of the hot dogs left?'' Aurora then put on a hopeful expression, trying to look cute.\n\n``Uh, let me check,'' said the server before he made his way into the back of the cafeteria kitchen.\n\nAurora stood there, waiting for him to come back with some news. In her mind, she was trying to think of alternatives that she could go for if they were out of the hot dogs. She began to mentally chant to herself, ``Must have hot dogs, must have hot dogs,'' over and over again, hoping that her chanting would turn the results more in her favor. She turned to look out into the eating area, where there were other students sitting and eating the food they had. Not all of the students were eating the cafeteria food, but some were eating the food they were able to bring with them. They were all talking among themselves, making the room a little bit noisy.\n\nThe server came back and had a good smile on his face. When Aurora turned to see him, her face grew into a wide smile. She had a good feeling that there was going to be some good news. And, she was right.\n\n``We have a few left,'' said the server, putting a couple of hot dogs on a plate for her, ``Here ya go, enjoy!''\n\nAurora couldn't help but do a little jump a few times in celebration of the hot dogs still being available. She reaches up and picked up her plate before making her way over to a table and sitting there. She ate her hot dogs, enjoying the taste that she was looking forward to all this time. As she sat there and munched on her hot dogs, she looked around the room. She noticed that there was a handsome young wolf that was sitting over at a table a few rows over. She gazed at him with a smile, and when she finished her hot dogs and drank a bit of her drink, she hopped down to walk over to him.\n\nShe then climbed up to the seat across from the wolf. The wolf was a tall man, with short black hair and yellow eyes. He was wearing a pretty standard jacket and denim pants. He was sitting there, not yet noticing Aurora as she was sitting down, trying to think of how to talk to him.\n\n``Well, hi,'' said Aurora, enthusiastically ``If I remember correctly, your name is Terry, right?''\n\nThe wolf, being Terry, looked up at her from his meal, giving her a bit of a smile, ``Yeah, what's your name?''\n\nAurora was already feeling the nervousness begin to rise within her, just being close to Terry, who she has had a crush on since observing him every here and there. She tried to keep herself together as she began to speak with him a bit more.\n\n``So, my name is Aurora,'' she said, ``I'm attending this University, and I'm trying to learn more about artwork stuff.''\n\n``Oh that's nice,'' said Terry in response, ``I'm actually surprised that someone so young could end up attending a University. You must be very smart for your age.''\n\n``Well,'' said Aurora, ``I'm not exactly that young. I might looks like a young lady, but I'm...not.''\n\n``Oh really?'' Terry questioned, ``You look pretty young to me. How long have you been attending this University?''\n\n``I'm not that young,'' said Aurora, her tone getting a little panicky.\n\n``Sure,'' Terry said with a sarcastic feel to his voice, ``Is there something you wanted to talk about? I need to get to class, as it is starting soon.''\n\nAurora looked somewhat offended, but instead of trying to continue her side of the argument, she got herself together. She placed her hands on the table and leaned a little closer to Terry, and tried to give a slightly flirtatious look. ``Well, I was wondering, are you single?''\n\nTerry looked a little bit uncomfortable at this, leaning back and away from Aurora. ``Hey, hold on. I'm not going to answer that.'' With that, he stood up, looking at Aurora with a stern look. ``I'm not going to date you.''\n\nAs he walked away, Aurora was looking quite defeated, her ears going down and her expression becoming more and more sad the further he got. She sat back down, crossing her arms and growling a bit to herself. She then looked up as a young male anthropomorphic fox sat down across from her. He was a tall one, with shoulder-length brown hair and green eyes. He was wearing a formal outfit, one that the teachers would wear as they were on the clock. He smiled as he was looking at her.\n\nHe said, ``Hey, Aurora, I'm guessing mission failed?''\n\nAurora looked up at him with a sad expression at first, but then it suddenly went into an expression of determination. She slammed her palm onto the table and said with a very confident voice, ``No, Jeddah, I'm going to try again. I think I know what I need to let him know I'm not as young as he thinks I am.''\n\n``Now that's the Aurora I know,'' Jeddah responded, ``I would say, though, that you shouldn't try again too many times. You don't want him to consider you a stalker or something like that.''\n\n``I know,'' said Aurora, ``but I'll go ahead and give him a little more time. I understand that things are a little tough at the moment, but I'm sure I can get his attention somehow.''\n\n``Alright,'' Jeddah replied, ``By the way, I have a little mission from the Neo-Mobian Elite for you.''\n\nAurora looked a little surprised as she replied with, ``A mission, huh? What do they want me to do?''\n\nJeddah handed her a folder with her name on the tab. ``They want you to locate and investigate a city that has not been properly documented. I will, as usual, talk to the University Headmaster and explain to them that you will be gone. I was notified of this place by one of our own, Zeex, and she says that it's definitely worth looking into.''\n\n``Zeex found this place?'' said Aurora, ``Zeex is always finding some interesting things.''\n\n``Yeah, she's good at what she does,'' said Jeddah, ``I guess if you want to take this mission on, it'd be best to talk to Zeex directly. You have her number on your phone.''\n\n``True,'' said Aurora.\n\n``Contact her for the rest of the details,'' said Jeddah, ``I'm going to go ahead and go back to my job now. Good luck on the mission, and good luck on winning that wolf's heart. ``I have had a crush on a classmate in one of my classes,'' Aurora said, looking very determined, ``I'm going to ask him out. Jeddah told me that it would probably help me with talking to other people, even if he says `no'.''

``That is daring,'' Trisha said with a small, quiet chuckle, ``It's certainly something challenging.''

Aurora nodded, responding with, ``When I get the chance, I'll try talking to him. Maybe I can do this, even in the first shot.''

``Just be warned,'' Trisha said with a slightly more serious tone, ``he may not look at you and think you're twenty-nine years old. Not a lot of people out there understand what a Phoenix Blood is. Yeah, you can get some pretty nice powers as a side effect, but I'm sure you know there's more to it than just that.''

``Yeah,'' said Aurora, her face going into a more concerned expression, ``I remember that Jeddah said my awakening did that thing where it locks my physical form. Oh well, still going to try.''

``Don't be surprised if you don't do it right the first time, Aurora,'' Trisha said, her tone returning to that of a friendly one, ``You still have the rest of your days to find the right guy. I'm sure there will be someone out there that will accept you.''

Aurora nodded and adjusted the strap to her messenger bag. ``I better get to the cafeteria. I heard they're serving hot dogs again, and those run out real quick if I don't get there in time.''

``True,'' Trisha responded, ``I won't keep you here. Just remember to be confident in your abilities. Sometimes, that confidence is what hooks a man in, and brings him right to you.''

Aurora nodded, saying, ``Thank you, Miss Trisha, Have a nice day.'' She waved her hand goodbye, and then ran off to get to the campus cafeteria.

Trisha waved back as she watched Aurora go.

After a moment, Aurora found herself at the doors leading into the cafeteria. Once she entered, she looked around the room, trying to get a good idea on how things are going there. After her little scan, she made her way over to the counter and peeked over it, trying to get a good idea on what's available. After another moment, she got the attention of the serving person that was standing on the other side.

``Oh, hey, Aurora,'' Said the server with a hint of surprise in his tone, ``How's it going?''

``Oh, you know,'' replied Aurora, ``The usual classes and stuff. Do you have any more of the hot dogs left?'' Aurora then put on a hopeful expression, trying to look cute.

``Uh, let me check,'' said the server before he made his way into the back of the cafeteria kitchen.

Aurora stood there, waiting for him to come back with some news. In her mind, she was trying to think of alternatives that she could go for if they were out of the hot dogs. She began to mentally chant to herself, ``Must have hot dogs, must have hot dogs,'' over and over again, hoping that her chanting would turn the results more in her favor. She turned to look out into the eating area, where there were other students sitting and eating the food they had. Not all of the students were eating the cafeteria food, but some were eating the food they were able to bring with them. They were all talking among themselves, making the room a little bit noisy.

The server came back and had a good smile on his face. When Aurora turned to see him, her face grew into a wide smile. She had a good feeling that there was going to be some good news. And, she was right.

``We have a few left,'' said the server, putting a couple of hot dogs on a plate for her, ``Here ya go, enjoy!''

Aurora couldn't help but do a little jump a few times in celebration of the hot dogs still being available. She reaches up and picked up her plate before making her way over to a table and sitting there. She ate her hot dogs, enjoying the taste that she was looking forward to all this time. As she sat there and munched on her hot dogs, she looked around the room. She noticed that there was a handsome young wolf that was sitting over at a table a few rows over. She gazed at him with a smile, and when she finished her hot dogs and drank a bit of her drink, she hopped down to walk over to him.

She then climbed up to the seat across from the wolf. The wolf was a tall man, with short black hair and yellow eyes. He was wearing a pretty standard jacket and denim pants. He was sitting there, not yet noticing Aurora as she was sitting down, trying to think of how to talk to him.

``Well, hi,'' said Aurora, enthusiastically ``If I remember correctly, your name is Terry, right?''

The wolf, being Terry, looked up at her from his meal, giving her a bit of a smile, ``Yeah, what's your name?''

Aurora was already feeling the nervousness begin to rise within her, just being close to Terry, who she has had a crush on since observing him every here and there. She tried to keep herself together as she began to speak with him a bit more.

``So, my name is Aurora,'' she said, ``I'm attending this University, and I'm trying to learn more about artwork stuff.''

``Oh that's nice,'' said Terry in response, ``I'm actually surprised that someone so young could end up attending a University. You must be very smart for your age.''

``Well,'' said Aurora, ``I'm not exactly that young. I might looks like a young lady, but I'm...not.''

``Oh really?'' Terry questioned, ``You look pretty young to me. How long have you been attending this University?''

``I'm not that young,'' said Aurora, her tone getting a little panicky.

``Sure,'' Terry said with a sarcastic feel to his voice, ``Is there something you wanted to talk about? I need to get to class, as it is starting soon.''

Aurora looked somewhat offended, but instead of trying to continue her side of the argument, she got herself together. She placed her hands on the table and leaned a little closer to Terry, and tried to give a slightly flirtatious look. ``Well, I was wondering, are you single?''

Terry looked a little bit uncomfortable at this, leaning back and away from Aurora. ``Hey, hold on. I'm not going to answer that.'' With that, he stood up, looking at Aurora with a stern look. ``I'm not going to date you.''

As he walked away, Aurora was looking quite defeated, her ears going down and her expression becoming more and more sad the further he got. She sat back down, crossing her arms and growling a bit to herself. She then looked up as a young male anthropomorphic fox sat down across from her. He was a tall one, with shoulder-length brown hair and green eyes. He was wearing a formal outfit, one that the teachers would wear as they were on the clock. He smiled as he was looking at her.

He said, ``Hey, Aurora, I'm guessing mission failed?''

Aurora looked up at him with a sad expression at first, but then it suddenly went into an expression of determination. She slammed her palm onto the table and said with a very confident voice, ``No, Jeddah, I'm going to try again. I think I know what I need to let him know I'm not as young as he thinks I am.''

``Now that's the Aurora I know,'' Jeddah responded, ``I would say, though, that you shouldn't try again too many times. You don't want him to consider you a stalker or something like that.''

``I know,'' said Aurora, ``but I'll go ahead and give him a little more time. I understand that things are a little tough at the moment, but I'm sure I can get his attention somehow.''

``Alright,'' Jeddah replied, ``By the way, I have a little mission from the Neo-Mobian Elite for you.''

Aurora looked a little surprised as she replied with, ``A mission, huh? What do they want me to do?''

Jeddah handed her a folder with her name on the tab. ``They want you to locate and investigate a city that has not been properly documented. I will, as usual, talk to the University Headmaster and explain to them that you will be gone. I was notified of this place by one of our own, Zeex, and she says that it's definitely worth looking into.''

``Zeex found this place?'' said Aurora, ``Zeex is always finding some interesting things.''

``Yeah, she's good at what she does,'' said Jeddah, ``I guess if you want to take this mission on, it'd be best to talk to Zeex directly. You have her number on your phone.''

``True,'' said Aurora.

``Contact her for the rest of the details,'' said Jeddah, ``I'm going to go ahead and go back to my job now. Good luck on the mission, and good luck on winning that wolf's heart. Both may take a little more effort than you usually put out.''

``I'll get it done,'' Aurora responded, ``don't worry about it.''
