A Longtime ago he stood quite normal but time changed him as does it all. For once long ago he was mighty but not so much anymore. He was also much taller and this is the story of why he's not. Like all with power many end up having enemies though not everyone is aware just where their enemies are. For this fatal flaw led to his ultimate downfall. and what a downfall it was well more on the down part. After all he does stand at only a few inches high now. The day started like any other day, the birds were singing the cats were meowing and everything was rather loud. Of course she never complained about it and just one on his daily routine. A glass of orange juice a cup of coffee toast and a ham sandwich, these were the things that started this man's very normal day. Unlike his normal days however the breakfast usually had just wasn't feeling the day. So he decided to stop by dying on the way to work the young woman who ran the building was rather hard to describe. As a tip for the strange and so was about to ensue almost all of her body seemed to be covered to the point he could barely even make out her face. Had know of religions that had women cover themselves in case temptations that affect men but this woman cover was not the usual black shade that he had seen. Instead it seem that surrounded her body was for lack of a better way to describe it a sea of blue scales that seemed to cover her from head to toe. This struck the man as quite strange, however his growling stomach would hear no complaint against getting food. Doubt clouded his mind yet in an almost possessed fashion he walked up to the counter. The young woman turned and smiled at him, or what he presumed was a smile from the rather strange snouted mask on her face. She then spoke in her voice came out as sweet as freshly made summer honey. "What can I get you honey?" She asked. The man glanced nervously the menu for some reason this woman's appearance just bothered him. She had to have been in charge for she was allowed to wear such costume. Did she think it would scare away customers? Unable to decide he let fate choose for him, he would learn it would be a costly mistake. "Just bring me something good," the man said. His stomach growled as if to announce its desire. "Whatever you pick make sure its a lot of it and brought to me quickly." The man added his growling stomach agitating him. "Right away sweetie."The woman responded kindly ignoring the possible sass and his voice. But only a few minutes she had brought him a rather large breakfast meal. Large slices of ham bacon sausage and eggs adorned the plate. His eyes grew wide and round like a full moon with his mouth open drooling at the sight. "Here you are sweetie." She said as she placed down the plate of the nearby table. "I'll have the bill ready for you when you're done." The man sat down at the table his eyes still wide, the drool missing the edge of the plate. Swiftly he picked up his utensils and thrust the fork right into one of the sausages. His stomach growled them hunger took over. Watching the way he devoured the plate was like watching a beast devour an elk. The man didn't care for the show he may have been causing and feasted like it was his last supper. When the disturbing sight was over, he calmly went to the counter and paid his dues. She smiled back at him and waved as he left, fully aware of what was about to happen. Some people have enemies, the man was about to find out his hunger was his. Slow and sluggish due to the large meal the man ducked into a dark alley hoping to simply cough away the tension in his stomach. While the man was not normally a large eater, the meal had not obscenely extended his stomach. Out of annoyance he pressed tightly onto his chest and pushed to relieve the tension. As he had hoped he burped loudly from doing so. Some of the tension had also gone away however a strange black spot was in the middle of his vision. It looked almost as if his nose had changed color, naturally that can't happen and with a wave of his hand he ignored it. Or he would have if the hand he waved had not been clawed. Confusion struck his features as he glanced at this strange phenomenon. What should have been finger nails were deep dark black claws instead. Impossible the man's mind shouted. Someone couldn't just grow claws. The man looked away and then looked back to his hand maybe he had just seen it wrong. The evidence disagreed however, and the clawed hand still remained. He also noticed that at the edge of his fingers black strands of hair seem to be growing rather quickly. Fascination confusion and horror crossed the man's mind as black strands seemed to engulf the tips of his knuckles. He had no words he could hope to explain what was going on. Grabbing the transformed him by the wrist he noticed immediately that both hands now were clawed. Oh how he wish he could explain it, But the words have completely escaped him. The world of logic and reason seems so far away. Those long black hairs engulfed both his hands and began to snake down his wrists. They were so soft to the touch that he thought it was fur. As fast as lightning the toes of his shoes exploded, exposing the same black claws that adorned his hands. Bones shifted and muscles popped loudly. His feet grew in size, stance shifting to the balls of his feet. Claws click on the concrete floor, and with a simple shake the shoes were no more. Rough pads of skin puffed out were stone met his feet. Those same feet were covered up to his heels in black fur. He studied his stance and noticed how canine his feet had become, although painless and even unnoticed his smallest toe and become nothing more than a dew claw. Tightness pulled on his chest, muscles underneath growing far too strong for the shirt. The man flex and the sound of ripping cloth shredded into the air. any fat his stomach may have had melted away into a flat template. The flat surface bulge outward, muscles pushing forward to be noticed. From flat to four pack to six pack to eight, the man's abs grew insanely quick. Standing in the dark alleyway was once defined as a man, however seems so unfitting then. Although his change was unfinished black fur danced around his body. Pain shot down his spine as a lump pushed from above his rear. The lump grew like a revealing snake, forcing the back of the male's trousers to their limit. Another sound of ripping cloth met the air, and the midnight black Wolf tail wagged. Almost complete the ex-human stood in confusion. He could not deny he had become some sort of animal, yet the horror he felt earlier was missing. The black spot his nose grew larger and reformed as it grew wet. One final time pain shot through him as his face pushed out and away. Jaws grew and expanded, teeth sharpened to a deadly point. The canine couldn't help but smirk the power he felt. He let out a loud howl that echoed into the morning. A few minutes past and his howl cracked, voice growing lighter. He silenced himself instantly and glanced around to understand. The dark alleyway shadows seemed larger and everything felt a miss. One step soon revealed why. The pants he wore before hung tightly on his hips, however the step revealed that the began to sag on his body. Centimeters fell like water from the waterfall and a clawed hand held up the fabric. The Wolf like creature let out a whimper as his body reached less than four feet. If he'd still look human, he'd looked like a young teenager trying on his father's clothes. A high-pitched growl left his throat when his grip faltered. The pants heavily dropped to the floor, with the Wolf soon to follow. Fear gripped his heart as the mighty man became so much less. Only a few feet tall he howled out hopelessly. Whatever had transformed him seem to answer and picked up the pace. He shouted in high-pitched anguish losing inches in seconds. Darkness surrounded him as his vision and himself grew smaller and smaller. Reduced to almost nothing, the little wolf, barely four inches tall, whimpered helplessly alone.
