The mirror in front of him reflected a creature of myth: a majestic lion, its skin gleaming white and rubbery, with a black rubber nose and white fur that looked both soft and artificial. His human features were gone, completely hidden beneath the lion’s fierce visage. His eyes, though covered by the lion's eyes, could still see, the suit somehow linking his vision to the exterior of the mascot’s head. He blinked, and the lion blinked with him, every emotion now reflected in the lion’s expression. A thick rubber tail sprouted from his back, swaying as if it had a mind of its own.\n\n\"There you are! You'll be a new star in our mascot team!\" the manager exclaimed, admiring the transformation.\n\nTravis tried to adjust, but his hands found only the smooth, shiny surface of his new skin.
