(Appears mid 30s)\n\nAn elegant, mysterious witch who’s short stature belies her presence and power.\n\nUpon first sighting her, the most eye catching features of her are her intense purple-shaded blue eyes and her impressive hair - which extends down in two thick coiled drill curls down past her knees, beginning in a rich purple and ending in a vibrant teal, like a darkened sky abating into eerily lit water. She also always bears a large, pure blue heart crystal on her, outlined in gold. The crystal has been cracked and made whole again with gilded vines and flower petals that have enjoined the broken fragments of the heart.\n\nShe is a witch, so dresses in black, and carries herself with a dignified confidence, assured in her unusual presentation and unique presence. \n\nDespite her dark looks, she is in truth a comforting presence, a solver of problems and a banisher of doubt and gloom.\n\nPersonality:\n\nAzalea is a little mysterious and idiosyncratic, but she is otherwise on the whole warm and friendly.\n\nHer outlook and personality is strongly shaped by the catastrophe and near-loss of self that she has gone through. Thus, she has both a strong desire to be a unique and distinctive person and express herself in her own way, but she also believes that each person can synthesise their experiences into a greater whole. It lay dormant for over a decade and a half.\n\nEvents involving the soul of the girl and another creature in another plane led to the strangest of occurrences - a huge flower bloomed under the crystal and the whole thing shattered, leaving Azalea the witch standing below. Very little of most of this is known, just that the crystal shattered and she was there after, and Azalea keeps some of the details private except for trusted confidants. Thus her title Crystalborn.\n\nSince that event, she has roamed around, trying to get reacquainted with herself and the land she once lived.
