"description": "Getting commissioned to draw one's own characters is honestly an honor I really can't explain. The thought that someone likes your own original creations enough to pay your for more content of them just puts that artist one step closer to being professional and while rare, it's always a thrill when such a thing comes up. Such, of course, being the case right now with this commission of my, until previously unnamed and mostly unused devil and angel characters made for October a few years back, here: https://inkbunny.net/s/958366\n\nI guess in some ways it's a little off, as it's not a request for some of my more established characters, but on the other it's cool to see interest in my lesser characters, ones I myself may have had no real plans for and seeing where others' interest lie. This of course also spurs me to think and expand more on these seldom used characters, so really it's just works out all around and is a great opportunity. What this really comes down to is if you ever wanna see more development from my characters, you need to give me money! XD\n\nBut no, in all seriousness, this is a great honor to get paid to draw my own characters and to give them more exposure, so I really thank anyone who does this; even more wonderful is this commission came from a a head canon developed by Mr.Sandwiches, all from that single pic. I dunno, just something about the fact that someone liked my stuff enough to make a head canon, one which I liked enough to make official is just really damn cool, so to give a brief run down of the scene at hand:\n\nThe devil, now known as Asmodeus was once a human, known for sleeping around. While his actions were always pure in his own mind, in the eyes of the eternals it wasn't and it landed him a nice little spot in Hell. Pleased by just how much rampant lust he spread when alive, Satan himself granted him a new devilish form where he could be as wantonly sexual as possible. It was nice for an eon or so, but eventually the guilt started to nag at poor Asmodeus. He did't like all the negative results that came from his sexual ways, so he sought redemption and he looked for it in a certain angelic guard named Mihel.\n\nTasked with guarding over the gates of Hell, Mihel had a mostly boring eternity so needless to say, his interest was piqued when some lust devil suddenly came to him and began spewing nonsense about redemption. He would have ignored him, but his boredom (and the devil's sweet ass) kept him from doing so. At first, it started as a curious case study for him, just to see what this devil wanted, but the more it went on the more Mihel saw an opportunity.\n\nConcocting a wild theory, Mihel planned that if Asmodeus' could refrain from giving into his lustful ways until the time ran out in his hourglass, he'd be allowed a shot at ascending up to the pearly gates.
