The Freedom Fighters had won. They managed to take out Eggman's forces and Super Sonic - with the help of Chip, the Light Gaia - managed to calm the rage of Chip's daker counterpart, restoring the world to its former state. They had saved the day. ... Or so they thought... Once Rotor was able to repair Nicole, she scanned the continuum again, only to find that the collapse of realities hadn't actually stopped, and was in fact accelerating, to the point where there would be nothing left. They could already see the cracks in reality forming; weird, twisted versions of other worlds blurring into one, and then dying in a flash of light. Through one such crack, they saw a large panda, with powers far greater than anyone thought possible, trying his best to hold back the tide of the collapse. Nicole researched this being, and determined him to be Feist, a deity from even before the reboot of reality caused by Eggman's Super Genesis Wave, rumored to have created the Chaos and Master Emeralds of each world. Desperate, they entered Feist's dimension to appeal to him to lend his aide to them in saving their reality. At first, Feist refused, as he blamed Super Sonic for the calamity at present, but he relented after an attack by Eggman to acquire his dimension's Chaos Emeralds for another Super Genesis Wave convinced him of the true culprit. Gathering up the remaining Chaos Emeralds from every world still intact, and using Super Sonic as a catalyst, Feist focused his power into stopping the destruction. It proved to little, too late. The chaotic forces ripping reality apart was too strong, and Feist, helpless, called upon forces even he couldn't comprehend for aide - the disparate legion of voices within the chaos itself. He knew the danger of tapping into this power, but at that point, there was no other option. Feist swore a little prayer as he made his plea... and received no answer. Reality collapsed in on itself, all worlds fusing into one white-hot ball of energy... and in one last gasp, exploded. This, however, was not the end. A new day had dawned on Mobius, and everyone awoke to the new possibilities it brought. There was a sense of confusion and uneasiness, this time, a sense of something not quite right with the world, and as the day went on and everyone went on with their lives, questions started popping up - questions that had no easy answer, and that someone or something beyond their ken was blocking them from speculating further on. New faces, new scenarios, and the absence of certain individuals haunts them to this day, but they are not able to dwell on it. What happened to the multiverse upon its collapse, and why can no one remember what came before? What happened to Feist, and was this new Mobius a response to his desperate plea for a higher power's aide? Where was Robotnik/Eggman? Why are there more than one version of some individuals in the same place? Why were some individuals and items from other universes here, sharing the same reality as everyone else? And, most important of all... what's with the new bodies everyone has, and why is everyone so damn horny all the time?! Characters: Freedom Fighters (Prime): The Prime version of the Freedom Fighters (from pre-Reboot Archie) are largely the same as before, though - like everyone else - they are baffled by the existence of the Neo Prime FFs, and a few of their other counterparts, as well. In this reality, they lived without the threat of Robotnik/Eggman, and so grew up more free and accepting of themselves and their world, as a result. They still have the occasional fire to put out, from the Dark Legion, the SUppression Squad, and others, but for the most part, those are minor conflicts that don't get in the way of daily life. Freedom Fighters (Neo Prime): The Neo Prime FF (Sally, Bunnie, Antoine, Rotor, and Nicole) are confused why they live in the same universe as two other versions of themselves, but for as long as they can remember, that has always been the norm. As such, they occasionally join forces with the Prime FF group in keeping the peace, but tend not to interfere with their or anyone else's affairs. They have the sneaking suspicion that they aren't meant to be here, but the mental block on them prevents them from pursuing the suspicion further, and so just shrug it off. Oddlly, this group's Sally and Bunnie are hermaphrodites (Nicole, too, as her base form, but as she's a digital entity, she can change that at will), which no one seems to care about. Suppression Squad: These dark versions of the Prime FF are more lusty and crude in their antics than outright malicious, having a more twisted view on relationships than their counterparts. Thanks to the unusually sexualized aspects of this new reality, the SS seeks to oppress and subjugate people to their lustful urges than be an actual threat to people. They are treated more like sexual predators and bullies than anything by the others, which suit them just fine. Like everyone else, they get the feeling that they should be in their own universe and not this one, but that briefly lingers before they shrug it off for their next conquest. The females are also herms, in this universe. Team Rose: Amy is the most confused of everyone over the multiple Freedom Fighters thing, though to her delight, there's only 2 Sonics, one of which scares her, so she doesn't bother to dwell on it too much. Big is his normal laid-back self, thoug he's formed a strong friendship with Neo Prime Rotor. He's also a bit put off by newcomer Sticks, but finds her a decent companion. Cream and Vanilla are their regular selves, though Cream unusually seemed to have hit puberty a bit early and a bit too hard... Team Dark: Shadow and Rouge are largely the same, though without Eggman to build him, there is no Omega to form the third member of the team. Also, for some reason, there are no humans in this new Mobius, so no GUN for them to join forces with, so really, there's no real team between them; they're friendly with each other, and some suspect them of dating, but they usually are off on their own individual quests. Team Chaotix: Largely the same as the Reboot version. They vaguely remember an armadillo and flying squirrel being intermittent members, but that's all. Perhaps they'll meet, one day? Royal Guard: Hershey and Geoffrey St. George are loyal to the Prime Sally, with no Ixus Naugus influencing the latter's actions. They form a secret service duo to defend the crown... though they find it odd that there's three Sallys. Knuckles and the Dark Legion: Knuckles is largely the same, fighting against the Dark Legion, who are lead by a mysterious Echidna in the background (rumored to be Dr. Finitevus). The Legion are more of a disparate group of outsiders trying to hack their way to their own kingdom, but aren't very particular with who or what they run over to get there. It's rumored that their leader knows the truth about the new Mobius, but what he wants to do about it remains a mystery. For the most part, the Legion are a more militarized version of the Suppression Squad, with more of an emphasis on studying their captives than subjecting them to their whims. Mina Mongoose and Fiona Fox: Herms in this universe, the former is a prominent performer and superstar in Knothole, providing "spectacles" to her audience along the lines of any porn involving the MLP character Vinyl Scratch. Fiona is a lone fox, more of a bad girl than usual, with an interest in Scourge, but has a conflicted soul about truly joining them. Smalls the Cat and Infinite: Smalls is a bully, plain and simple. He likes to torment Scourge whenever they meet, which seems to be much more often than normal. It's been whispered that Scourge actually enjoys the treatment that he gets from Smalls and their frequent encounters are attempts to get more abuse from him, but Scourge greatly denies it. Infinite is a more fatalistic and sadistic lover, though without the Phantom Ruby to manipulate, he can't do much, and is more of a pushover than normal. He keeps a mask with him to make him more intimidating, but it hides his inner insecurities. Sticks the Badger and Cobar: Sticks doesn't know where she is, why she's here, or why she's suddenly a herm. She has a number of conspiracy theories on it, but even Big - who tolerates her the most - doesn't care to listen to them. She's trying to get Big to be her boyfriend on occasion, out of a twisted logic that - since they're both jungle-dwelling freeloaders - they are perfect for each other. She likes Neo!Rotor well enough, but gets jealous when he and Big are together. Cobar is as he is in my stories, but without Dimitri, Lien-Da, or Eggman to influence his life, he's more laid-back and happy. He was a Legionnaire, and still has his old robes, but cut ties with them long ago... or so he remembers. It's through him the the others learn of the mysterious leader of the Legion, and that they rely on cybernetics to strengthen and heighten their abilities and senses... and to try and access memories from before the rebooting of reality. Tikal and Chaos: Not needing to seal him in the Master Emerald, Tikal instead befriended the water god, and they quickly became lovers, Chaos bestowing immortality to Tikal. They serve as guardians of Angel Island, while Knuckles is off doing other things. Silver and Blaze: Both are as they were, previously, but are stuck in this reality, not the future or the Sol Dimension. Blaze serves as a wandering queen of a foreign land, while Silver is her lover/companion, though they are often platonically cordial with each other than outright sexual or romantic. Blaze's staff is a symbol of her royal heritage (an actual staff, not a penis) that she carries around, and both still have their individual powers. There are no Sol Emeralds in this dimension, having been fused with the Chaos Emeralds. Chaos/Master Emeralds: These have drastically changed in shape since the originals. As said before, the Sol Emeralds were fused with these, and due to the unusual sexual nature of the new dimension, they've been warped into phallus-shaped objects. Still powerful, with the Master Emerald being used to keep Angel Island afloat, they are able to imbue tremendous abilities to those who can tap into them. Rote and Tailsy: These two beings suddenly showed up along with the others, and their stories are just as bizarre; they feel like everyone else is an outsider, and they are the ones who properly belong in this Mobius. A master/pet couple, they take full advantage of the sexual nature of the new world, much to the chagrin of the others. Babylon Rogues: Same as before, though Neo!Rotor is sometimes seen hanging out with Storm. They compete with Rouge in the thievery department. Shade and Tommy: Shade, like Cobar, is a defector from the Legion, though from a totally different branch than him, as seen by her outfit. She often flirts with Knuckles, but holds respect for the Guardian. Tommy - alive due to the absence of Eggman and A.D.A.M - forms a menage a trois with Prime!Rotor and Cobar, but somehow keeps some aspects of his nanite form, including tentacle dicks and armor that he can deploy at will, all of which is a mystery to everyone including him. Eclipse and Zeena: Eclipse is said to be an imperfect version of Shadow, though both members' origins are a mystery in this human-less world. They're speculated to be aliens, and Eclipse has an unhealthy obsession with Shadow and making him his lover. Zeena is largely the same, though with the absence of the Lost Hex, she's wandering the world, looking for other Zeti like herself. She's a hermaphrodite, when she wants to be.
